Abstract

The global covid 19 epidemic necessitates universities as higher education institutions continuing to conduct out lecture activities using online means; the learning process carried out by all educational institutions worldwide is to give e-learning-based interactive learning. It is hoped that by utilizing E-learning-based learning materials, learning activities may be carried out in accordance with the output required by each educator. Moodle is a networked learning system that is object-oriented and flexible, and it is one of the solutions available at the Malikussaleh University. This application was created to support instructors in all elements of the learning process by connecting to the internet network via a website page and stressing the social constructionist pedagogy technique. The approach utilized in this study is descriptive qualitative sampling using a saturated sample, which means the sample size is the same as the population size. Data collecting methodology based on observations, interviews, and documents. The interaction between lecturers and students in the learning process is the research's finding. Furthermore, e-learning serves as a discussion platform for lecturers and students, as well as an online exam, making all activities in the learning process highly beneficial.

Abstract

The study's goal is to describe qualitatively the reality of organizational development through the improvement of organizational behavior and human relations. Humane relationships with organizational and management environments were the focus of research discussions, as were qualitative paradigm with library research technique. Data is analyzed using research findings and the perspectives of educational management perspective. According to the findings of this study, competence in humane relationships plays a critical role in the effective organization of educational management. Humane relationships are characterized by ethical values, sympathy, and empathy attitudes. In a review of human relationship management, the educational environment and aspects of leadership are discussed. Leading as a problem solver possesses humane relationship skills that benefit its subordinates in resolving member problems. Individual positive behaviors can be created more effectively with both directive and non-directive guidance. An inclusive emotional approach can also increase the effectiveness of educational guidance in creating individual positive behaviors. In terms of institutional aspects, schools as organizations go through lifecycles that include stages of growth, development, and maturity.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the students ability in reading comprehension of grade 1 students in SMK Neg. 1 Lhokseumawe for the 2020/2021 academic year. The population and sample of this study were students of class 1 SMK Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. There were two classes as the sample, accounting majors as the experimental group and computer network engineering majors as the control group. The data obtained is by collecting pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed by calculating the t-test to find out the significant difference to the mean values of the two groups. Based on statistical analysis, it was found that the t-test for the experimental and control classes was -11.385 with a significance of 0.00. while the determined significance level is 0.005. This means that 0.00 < 0.05, this indicates that there is a significant difference for the posttest between the experimental and control classes. The difference in the posttest mean scores between the experimental and control classes was considered significant. To follow up on the results of this study, suggestions are needed to teach reading as an active and meaningful activity. Therefore, English teachers are expected to apply various strategies in the reading learning process.

Abstract

Islamic religious lesson is a very important lesson in the formation of students with noble character, faith and devotion to Allah SWT. However, currently a number of teenagers in Aceh are experiencing a moral crisis, do not have an Islamic character and do not practice Islam kaffah. This is certainly related to the implementation of Islamic religious lesson called PAI in schools/madrasahs. In this regard, a study has been conducted to examine the supervision of PAI in schools/madrasahs in Aceh Tamiang district and Langsa City. The method used was qualitative, respondents were from schools/madrasahs, supervisors, Education Department and the Ministry of Religion. The results of this work show that the quality of the supervisory recruitment process needs to be improved; the number of supervisors needs to be increased; the ability of supervisors need to be strengthened. In addition, it is essential to improve facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process of PAI and strengthening of Islamic religious education teachers. The competence of PAI teachers can be improved by increasing the role of supervisors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discover about the points of view of the mathematics teacher at Syamtalira Aron Middle School on evaluating students' mathematical understanding abilities using the SPUR multidimensional approach. This research employs qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. This study's sample included 14 junior high school mathematics teachers from the Syamtalira Aron District. The researcher collected data using an assessment questionnaire about the views of the Syamtalira Aron Middle School mathematics teacher on evaluating students' mathematical understanding abilities using the SPUR multidimensional approach and structured interview guidelines. Data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on the SPUR (Skills, Properties, Uses, and Representations) approach were used as data analysis techniques. The results revealed that the Skills dimension was the most superior in evaluating students' mathematical understanding abilities, while Representations was the lowest level.

Abstract

This study reviewed the effects of the government's efforts to continue to develop the teaching profession as a strong and equal profession with other professions. The study aims to identify the government has made efforts to improve teacher professionalism, including increasing qualifications and higher educational requirements for teaching staff from the school level to tertiary institutions. This study uses a qualitative method using a descriptive approach and document analysis. The results of this study try to reveal, analyze, and deal with words as the main tool to give meaning to the research data of the teaching profession program. Teachers are professional positions, therefore teachers must be professional. A number of studies have proven that professional teachers are one of the important indicators of quality schools. Thus, the development of the teaching profession needs to be carried out. Teacher professional development is a process to assist teachers in doing their job effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Storytelling method is one of method that was often used in early childhood learning. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of storytelling method in early childhood learning. This study used qualitative method through descriptive approach which is located in Ar-Raihan Kindergarten, Bireuen Regency, Aceh. This study selected three teachers as research sample. Data collection technique used interview, while the process of data analysis was carried out through recording and transcribing then was narrated in discussion by using coding technique. The discussion is narrated in three stages, namely understanding, teaching techniques and implementation. The result of understanding clarified that teachers understood on the storytelling method that was applied in learning process. In teaching technique, those teachers have chosen story books according to the topic and sub-topic based on the lesson plan. While at the implementation, teachers set rules in order that classroom condition was conducive and fun, and they used media which can help to achieve storytelling goal in order to develop children's early literacy, and children are able to apply values of stories in daily life.

Abstract

This report examines principal management as the planning, implementation, and management of the entire school in order to improve teacher performance effectively and efficiently. This study aims to identify the Planning, Implementation, and Monitoring of the essential supporting components. In this study, qualitative methods and descriptive analysis were employed to obtain the results of the principal management analysis. Principals, vice principals, teachers, Pokja Guru leaders, and supervisors are included. The analysis technique involves observation, interviews, and documentation. Methods of planning and managing teacher activities, organizational strategies to increase teacher activities, implementation strategies for improving teacher performance, and strategies for monitoring teacher performance are among the findings of this research analysis. The study revealed that principal management is necessary as a strategy for achieving school goals, with the shared desire of all school components to successfully complete processes affecting students and teachers as the central theme.

Abstract

Parents have a big role in providing supervision to foster positive attitudes and behaviors in children's lives, including using internet media. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of parental supervision on children's using internet activities in Unsyiah Laboratory High School. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The total population is 405 students. The sample is the students totaling 61 students with random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of research parental supervision on children's activities in using internet media at SMA Lab School Unsyiah as a whole in the high category with a percentage of 54.1%. In terms of aspects of parental supervision, namely directing is also in the high category with a percentage of 72.1%, followed by setting 65.6% in the medium category, and guiding 59% dominantly. It can be concluded that parental supervision is high on children's activities using internet media at the Unsyiah High School Lab School in the high category.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to look into the effectiveness of instructional videos using the Problem-Based Learning Method in developing problem-solving skills in primary school students. To improve students' problem-solving skills, this study incorporated instructional material related to math topics " mixed count operation " into video. The experimental research method was used to achieve the study's goal. The model was implemented in three primary public schools in Aceh Utara, Indonesia, with 260 grade 6 students participating. A pretest and posttest were given before and after the treatment. The findings show that there was a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores at the significant level.
