Bercadik: Jurnal Pengkajian dan Penciptaan Seni adalah publikasi ilmiah akses terbuka multidisiplin, yang diterbitkan oleh Program Pasca Sarjana Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang, bekerja sama dengan Lembaga Penelitian Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat dan Pengembangan Pendidikan (LPPMPP) ISI Padangpanjang. Bercadik: Jurnal Pengkajian dan Penciptaan Seni, terbit 2 kali dalam setahun (pada bulan April dan Oktober) memuat artikel hasil penelitian, kajian, pemikiran, ataupun hasil penciptaan di bidang seni, baik seni rupa, seni pertunjukan, desain, kriya, maupun seni media rekam. Bercadik: Jurnal Pengkajian dan Penciptaan Seni juga terbuka bagi artikel dari bidang lain yang relevan, antara lain dari bidang budaya, filsafat, pendidikan seni, sastra dan humanitas secara umum, sebagai bentuk komiten pada interdisiplinaritas. Topik-topik dari bidang antropologi, sosiologi, studi kebijakan, sejarah, serta studi tata kelola, yang berhubungan dengan bidang seni secara khusus maupun dengan budaya dan kebudayaan secara umum, juga menjadi topik yang diundang untuk dimuat pada jurnal ini. Bercadik: Jurnal Pengkajian dan Penciptaan Seni, terbit secara daring mulai tahun 2021, setelah sebelumnya terbit dalam versi cetak pada rentang 2013-2017.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTulisan ini membahas tentang proses transformasi dari Legenda Putri Tujuh menjadi tari Putri Tujuh. Data lapangan menunjukkan bahwa Legenda Putri Tujuh diyakini oleh masyarakat setempat sebagai peristiwa bersejarah yang menjadi asal mula nama Kota Dumai. Legenda ini sangat melekat di hati masyarakat Dumai dan dianggap benar-benar pernah terjadi, sehingga nama-nama tempat, jalan, perkantoran maupun berbagai aktifitas diberi nama Putri Tujuh, antara lain tampak pada penamaan Kilang minyak Putri Tujuh. Keyakinan tersebut semakin menguat dengan ditemukannya makam Putri Tujuh oleh beberapa peneliti, yang dilanjutkan dengan terbitnya buku Dumai Tempo Doeloe oleh Dinas Pariwisata Seni dan  Budaya Dumai tahun 2004. Demikian identiknya Kota Dumai dengan legenda Putri Tujuh ini menginspirasi Elya Zusra untuk mentransformasikannya menjadi bentuk seni pertunjukan tari. Menggunakan metode kreatif, Elya Zusra mengalih rupakan legenda tersebut ke dalam bentuk seni tari dengan mentransformasi nilai-nilai filosofi yang terkandung di dalamnya, sehingga menjadi bentuk Tari Putri Tujuh. Kata kunci: Legenda, Putri Tujuh, Tari, Dumai, Transformasi.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kota Bukittinggi merupakan salah satu  kota pariwisata yang ada di Indonesia. Letak geografis dan sumber daya alam menjadi aset bagi kota Bukittinggi sebagai kota pariwisata. Hal ini karena banyaknya objek wisata yang menarik, menjadikan kota ini dijuluki sebagai "kota wisata". Ngarai Sianok merupakan salah satu objek wisata alam yang banyak dikunjungi oleh wisatawan  baik itu dari dalam maupun luar negeri, dimana terdapat taman Panorama yang memungkinkan wisatawan untuk melihat keindahan pemandangan Ngarai Sianok tersebut. Pengembangan promosi pariwisata Bukittinggi dalam bentuk animasi, dapat meningkatkan reabilitas komunikasi dan mengatasi keterbatasan waktu dan jarak sehingga apa yang ditampilkan menarik perhatian dan dapat menciptakan presentasi yang dinamis dan interaktif. Animasi juga dapat membuat sesuatu itu memiliki karakter yang unik sehingga mudah diingat dan dikenal, bahkan disukai banyak orang. Melalui animasi, diharapkan meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan di Bukittinggi. Kata Kunci: Bukittinggi. Pariwisata. Animasi. Media promosi ABSTRACT Bukittinggi is one of tourism city in Indonesia, Geographic location and natural resources become an asset to the city as a tourism Bukittinggi, this is because the number of interesting attractions, make this city dubbed as a "tourist town". Canyon Sianok is one of the natural attractions which are visited by tourists both from within and outside the country, where there are parks Panorama that allows tourists to view the scenic beauty of the canyon Sianok.  Development of tourism promotion Bukittinggi in animated form, can improve communication reliability and overcome the limitations of time and distance so that what is displayed to attract attention and can create dynamic and interactive presentations. Animation can also create something that has a unique character that is easy to remember and is known, even well like, through animation is expected to increase tourist arrivals in Bukittinggi. Key word: Bukittinggi, Tourism, Animation, Medium Promotion.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In West Sumatra, there is the potential of maritime tourism because of its many islands created into tourism destination. Those islands are Pemutusan Island, Panggang Island, Emas Island (Swarnadwipa beach and resort) and other islands. The existence of those islands results on the appearance of travel bureaus related to maritime tourism; and one of them is the travel bureau of Padang Tour Wisata Pulau. The travel bureau of Padang Tour Wisata Pulau designed its brand identity in order to support its promotion hence it became effective and efficient. The writer used logo as the primary media and website, social media, leaflet, poster, banner, t-shirt, key chain, tote bag, CD/CD cover, life vest, name card, sticker, ticket, and stamp as the supplementary media for promotional benefit. Those media function as interactive information that is visible by the lovers of maritime tourism. This designing aims at facilitating the fans of maritime tourism who want to visit maritime tourisms in West Sumatera.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims at revealing the concept of Main Bungo in Galombang Duo Baleh performance in Pitalah village, Tanah Datar district, West Sumatra. Main Bungo is an important aspect of the aesthetics of Galombang Duo Baleh presentation. The constituent elements of Main Bungo concept are movement quality, kiek (technique), raso (feeling), and movement presentation. While philosophical aspects contained in the concept of Main Bungo presentation are acting wisely based on magnanimity, the compactness of living in a group, and the beauty of body movement based on mancak movements. Main Bungo becomes the basic inspiration in Galombang Duo Baleh presentation in Pitalah village. The issue discussed in this article is related to the structural form of Galombang Duo Baleh presentation in Pitalah village, Tanah Datar district, West Sumatra. This research was based on qualitative data by using the methods of observation, interview, and documentation. Research results are: Main Bungo becomes the aesthetic orientation and the basic judgment of whether Galombang Duo Baleh presentation in Pitalah village is good or bad. Keywords: Main Bungo, Galombang Duo Baleh, Pitalah Village

Abstract

ABSTRACT Without realizing, the development of science and technology has changed the world fundamentally. Starting from communication and the means of transportation has eliminated cultural boundaries unnoticed by many people. Cultural contact needs no longer through direct physical contact. This phenomenon occurs because contact through media is highly possible. This condition more or less has influenced Indonesia traditional arts that live and develop in the middle of their supporting people.            Traditional art does not just suddenly appear but it is born from a creativity of its supporting people. Seeing the greatest influence of this media globalization, is it possible that at the same time it brings traditional art that its existence is the answer for the people’s anxiety of identity loss? Abstract

ABTRAK:Penulisan seni kompang  ini  penting dan berarti bagi pengkajian kebudayaan Melayu. Tujuan kajian adalah: melirik kompang sebagai budaya masyarakat Melayu;  menyampaikan kompang dalam posisi strata; mengapresasi interpretasi keberadaan kompang; menggambarkan pemahaman kompang sebagai musik tradisional; dan mengungkap konsep kompang sebagai ikon budaya melayu;   menjelaskan appresiasi masyarakat Meskom terhadap perubahan dan kebertahanan kreativitas ekspresi seni kompang. Metode dalam penelitian bersifat kualitatif dan kuantatif, melalui pendekatan pengkajian etnografi, etnomusikologi dan antropologi meliputi interpretasi atas ikon, dan representasi budaya kompang di Meskom Bengkalis. Secara umum hasil penelitian dapat dikatakan bahwa: interpretasi tradisi kompang pada community Meskom-Bengkalis tradisi mereka adalah produk dari suatu masyarakat tradisional. Tradisi itu terbentuk melalui proses panjang melalui kebiasaan turun-temurun oleh sekelompok masyarakat yang berada di wilayah Meskom-Bengkalis. Strata atau posisi kompang pada community Meskom-Bengkalis  tergolong ke dalam kelompok folk art (seni untuk rakyat), dan mass art (seni untuk massa), dalam bahasa umum, musik kompang berasal dari rakyat, diperankan oleh rakyat, diperuntukkan bagi rakyat. Kata Kunci: Seni Kompang, Kebudayaan, Kepribadian, Community     Melayu, Meskom-Bengkalis.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTulisan ini memuat estetika mamangan adat yang merefleksikan kecantikan perempuan Minangkabau. Adat Minangkabau yang berlandaskan pada adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabbullah dan berguru kepada alam telah menuntun hidup dan kehidupan masyarakat Minangkabau.  Ia telah melahirkan budaya yang diwarisi secara turun temurun, termasuk di dalamnya kehadiran dan keberadaan bundo kanduang dalam masyarakat.  Perempuan dan bundo kanduang merupakan sosok yang memiliki kecantikan terutama dalam sikap dan tingkah laku serta kecerdasan yang memunculkan kharisma dan keanggunan.  Sebagai bagian alam dan budaya Minangkabau kebaradaan dan kecantikan perempuan dan bundo kanduang tidak luput dari bahasan dalam untaian kata, petatah petitih, gurindam dan mamangan adat.  Gurindam, mamangan, serta pepatah-petitih yang bernilai estetika tinggi terutama tentang perempuan dan bundo kanduang tersebut  patut diamalkan dan dijaga nilainya oleh masyarakat Minangkabau.  Kata kunci:  Estetika, mamangan adat, perempuan Minangkabau          ABSTRACT This paper contains customary mamangan aesthetic that reflects the beauty of women Minangkabau . Minangkabau tradition based on the indigenous basandi syarak , syarak basandi kitabbullah and learning from nature has led life and the lives of Minangkabau society . It has spawned a culture that is inherited from generation to generation , including the presence and existence of bundo kanduang in society . Women and bundo kanduang is a figure that has beauty , especially in the attitudes and behavior as well as the intelligence that led to the charisma and elegance . As part of nature and culture and beauty kebaradaan Minangkabau women and bundo kanduang not escape from the discussion in the string of words , petatah proverb , couplets and custom mamangan . Abstract

ABSTRACT Muaro Peti is one of Minangkabau repertoire songs originally from Muaro Peti Village, Kapur IX Sub-district, Limapuluh Kota District, West Sumatera. Cultural geographically, this village is the part of darek area located in indigenous territorial of Luhak Nan Tigo, Minangkabau.This song expresses particular characteristics of melody which differs from general darek songs, especially the movement of melodic lines which tends to decrease; while dominantly, the other darek songs tend to have ascending melodic lines. If it’s viewed textually melodic, the uniqueness of this song is also visible from its garinyiak (thriller), layuak (glissando), and non-chordal tone (appoggiatura) which appears as variation in song’s melody. In western music, the concept of ornamental tone or melody variation is the part of ornamentation. Furthermore, in term of interval, Muaro Peti song has genuine pentatonic scale, while the other darek songs generally have pentatonic scale which is close to diatonic scale. The differences in melody and interval eventually result on every singer’s particular singing style or music expression in singing Muaro Peti.The major approach in this research entitled “Characteristics and Expressions of Muaro Peti Song from Various Interpretations of the Singers” was done by using the analysis of laboratory work through various audio recordings of Muaro Peti song as the primary data. In this research, the qualitative field research was used as secondary data because this research did not investigate performance expression, but it’s more focused on music expression interpreted by the singers in singing Muaro Peti song

Abstract

ABSTRACT This writing reveals the aesthetics of ornaments on the Mosque Jami’ located on Pasar Usang, Air Tiris, Kampar district, Riau province. Ornaments found on the mosque inspired by the form of plants, animal, geometry, universe, calligraphy and other forms. The forms of plant are keluk pakis (fern branch), pucuk rebung (baby bamboo) and tampuk manggis (mangosteen calyx); the motif of animal is lebah bergayut (swaying bee); and the motifs of universe are spirals, cloud, moon and star. Ornaments are applied on the wall, roof, pole, podium, tower and list-plank. Mosques ornaments have meaning and function as building decoration and symbolizing the unity of Air Tiris people. The contents of form and meaning in their application are related to the function of mosque namely as the place for conducting religious activities and democratic discussions. The application of carving ornament forms based on the cultural and aesthetic studies is related to meaning and philosophy that refer to noble values in people’s life namely customary and religious values. This research used qualitative method that had descriptive characteristic, and use cultural approach as the basis of analysis. Data were collected through observation done to the forms of contents of ornaments possessing the identity of Mosque Jami’ and through interview done with interviewees. Analysis was conducted by formulating the content, form and meaning of ornaments on Mosque Jami’ with the help of cultural theory and aesthetic theory in order to perform interpretation that resulted on the conclusion. Keywords: Aesthetics, Ornaments, Mosque Jami’, Air Tiris

Abstract

ABSTRACT Music composition “Nomophobia” is a music inspired by a psychological aberra-tion influenced by someone’s dependency toward gadget or smart-phone in tech-nological development.            Nowadays, wherever and whenever the situation is, it will be found many people that are engrossed with their own gadgets. Playing with hand-phone seems to be more fun than having a discussion with other people. As if hand-phone has become the style or the taste that attracts all their awareness. This nomophobia phenomenon is one of the bad impacts given by technological advancement.            The magnitude of the lifestyle influence requires people to follow globalization and consume new things related to the advancement and development of today technology, particularly in modern society, there are no more boundaries in socializing, communicating, and so on. Therefore, it emerges a change of behavioral pattern from social behavior to asocial behavior because of that impact. This phenomenon also results on the narrowness of space and time.
