Abstract

Learning models can make it easier for teachers to innovate in delivering subject matter, because students easily accept and absorb the learning delivered by the teacher. This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects through the application of the Discursus Multy Reprecentacy learning model in class XI SMK BNKP Daro-Daro Balaekha for the 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses the type of Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were students of class XI, totaling 33 people. The results showed that in the first cycle it was 66.66% and the second cycle increased to 100%. The increase in the average percentage of mastery learning outcomes has reached the criteria for the success of the action of 75%. The conclusion of the study is that the application of the Discursus Multy Reprecentacy learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects in class XI TKJ SMK BNKP Daro-Daro Balaekha. The researcher gives several suggestions, namely 1) In teaching the teacher should apply the Discursus Multy Reprecentacy learning model in the learning process in the classroom, especially in the subjects of Pancasila and Citizenship Education. 2) In teaching the teacher should pay attention to the activeness of students in learning so that they are able to follow the lesson well.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the behavior of students who are not in accordance with the values of Pancasila at SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya. To address this, the researchers conducted research on the role of Civics teachers in shaping student behavior according to Pancasila values at SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya. This study aims (1) to identify and describe the role of Civics teachers in shaping student behavior according to Pancasila values at SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya; (2) To find out and describe the formation of student behavior according to the values of Pancasila at SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya. The approach used in this research is descriptive method and the type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out by (1) Observation; (2) Interview;and (3) Documentation study. Analysis of the data used (1) data reductio; (2) data presentation; and (3) conclusion drawing. The results of the research on the role of civic education teachers on the formation of student behavior according to Pancasila values at SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya, namely the role of the teacher as a teacher, mentor, role, model, and motivator has been carried out well and formation of student behavior according to the values of Pancasila, namely by doing good habits and giving examples to students researchers suggest that teacher should play a role in shaping student behavior in accordance with values of Pancasila continue to be improved and taught, so that students become a generation of intelligent and moral people.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the motivation of students of the Civics Study Program to use the Nias Raya University library. The development or decline of a campus library is largely determined by the motivation of students in utilizing the library and also the services provided. Lack of motivation of students of the PPKn Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in utilizing the existing library collections, even though in the library there are references according to their respective departments, not even references to those majors that exist, even general collection references and others are also available in the library and students who visit the library are less and when there are students who visit most of the final semester students and on average they only use special collections (thesis) only. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The location of this research was carried out in the library of the University of Nias Raya. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the motivation of students from the Civics Study Program to use the Nias Raya University library. So it can be concluded that students of the Civics Study Program utilize the Nias Raya University campus library as a learning resource. The suggestion offered by the researcher is that the addition of a collection of books that can support student achievement and learning skills should be further improved.

Abstract

Education is basically a process to help humans develop their potential so that they are able to face the changes that occur. The formulation of the research problem is How is the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model in improving student learning autcomes in pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Maniamoloin the 2020/2021 academic year. The research method used is Classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles, and each cycle consists of stages, namely planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection. The aim of the reseacher is to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes. The results show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the flipped Learning model Classroom. This can be proven by student lerning outcomes in the second cycle categorized as increasing. It can be conluded that the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model improves student learning outcomes through studens’critical ability to understand the material that has been delivered suggest that teachers of pancasila and civic education subjects should be able to encourage studens’desire to make connections between the material they receive and the real world.

Abstract

The role of parents is the cooperation of both parents (father and mother) is a big influence in educating and disciplining children. The role of parents is to strive for each child to have a good attitude, high intelligence, and skills that benefit everyone. This research aims to find out how the role of parents in fostering bad child attitudes, especially in Hiligito Village, Fanayama Subdistrict. The location of this study was carried out in Hiligito Village of Fanayama District of South Nias Regency. The type of research used in this research is a type of qualitative research with ethnographic approach. The data collection techniques carried out in this study are (1) observations; (2) interview; and (3) documents. The results of this study showed that (1) the attitude of children in Hiligito Village of Fanayama Subdistrict is less good because it has various factors that can affect it, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors are the attitudes of children that arise from themselves without outside influence or others. While external factors are factors that affect the attitude of children from outside himself; (2) The role of parents in fostering children's attitudes in Hiligito Village of Fanayama Subdistrict consists of two forms, namely, repressively and preventively. Coaching in a repressive form is the action that parents take on their children in educating their children in a better direction. While coaching in the form of preventive is the prevention of children so as not to fall into bad deeds. Some of the suggestions submitted by researchers, namely (1) parents should carry out their actual functions and roles towards their children, so that their children have character and morality; (2) Every circle of the village child should be equipped, guided and directed, so that every village child has a good mindset and tolerance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of school principals in improving teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 2 Toma, Toma District, South Nias Regency. The research method used is qualitative by using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation with an emphasis on informant data sources: school principals, vice principals, administrative staff and teachers to confirm the validity of the data obtained. From the results of this study revealed two findings, namely: (1) to determine the role of school principals in improving teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 2 Toma, Toma District, South Nias Regency, (2) to find out the steps of principals in improving teacher professionalism in SMA Negeri 2 Toma, Toma District, South Nias Regency. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the principal's efforts in improving teacher professionalism, (1) the principal conducts training (Diklat), Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) and (2) involves teachers in an effort to encourage and encourage teachers to participated in various trainings and seminars in improving teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 2 Toma, Toma District, South Nias Regency.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers at SMK Negeri 1 Aramo, reseachhers found that the learning success of students in atitude competence can be categorized as low. This is due to the fact that the learning carried out in the classroom only focuses on the areas of students’ abilices and atitudes. This study aims to find out how the studens’ atitude competence assessment in ovies learning in class XI SMK Negeri 1 Aramo and to fint out how the atitude competence of students in learning civies in class XI SMK Negeri 1 Aramo. To addres these problems, the researchers conducted research on the analysis of studens affitude competency assossment in learning pancasila and otizenship eeducation in class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Aramo for the 2020/2021 academic year, the apor approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and the type of clasoitive research. Sources of data in this study consisted of seacher of Pancasila and zitizenship education, and 5 studens, the data cefection technique used is though the stages of clasevation, interviews and clocumentation. Data analysis was caried out though there activity ines (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation , and (3) crawing conclusions. Based on the resuts of research conducted by researchers that. Civics educations teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Aramo have carried out a good student aftitude competency assessment in learning Pancasila and citizensship educations, the researcher suggets that Pancasila and citizenship educations teachers should provide an assessement of student atitude competence luring the implementation of learning in the classroom. Pancasila education and zitizenship teachers should routinely foster, motivate and direct studens in the formation of good atitudes and charcter and be able to become studens who are devoted to god alrnighty. Pancasila and zitizenship educations teachers should continue to use curriculum 13 at the same time, implementation of learning in the classroom, as well as Pancasila and civic educations teaachers should foster studen atitudes so that they become devoted to god alrrighty.

Abstract

The background in this study is that students' learning interest is relatively low which can be shown by the activeness of students still lacking in the learning process. The purpose of the research is 1) to describe the role of teachers in the implementation of learning during Covid-19 and 2) to describe students' learning interest in learning during Covid-19. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection technique is through interviews. The results showed that the role of teachers in the implementation of learning during Covid-19 was to act as a demonstrator, as a learning resource, as a student learning manager, as a mentor, as a mediator and facilitator, as a motivator and evaluator but it has not been going well where there are still many weaknesses in its implementation and students' learning interest during Covid-19 has not maximally shown interest in learning subject matter. Students still do not seem to be thoroughly happy to follow the presentation of the subject matter through whatshap group, students have many difficulties in solving exercise problems and it does not seem to be in the first place of attraction to participate in online learning activities. Then it can be concluded that students do not seem to have a thorough interest in learning. The advice that can be submitted by researchers is 1) should teachers of Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects do various ways to motivate students to follow the online learning. 2) students should increase their interest in learning materials delivered by both through online and offline learning, and 3) should be the next researcher, able to conduct relevant research and at a wider level

Abstract

This study aims 1) to determine the tolerance attitude of the community through mutual cooperation activities in Hilizamurugo Village, Susua District, South Nias Regency. 2) to find out the implementation of gotong royong in Hilizamurugo Village, Susua District, South Nias Regency. The research method used is qualitative by using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation with data source information from respondents: village heads, community leaders, and the community to confirm the validity of the data obtained. From the results of the study, it was found that the shifting factors in the values ​​of gotong royong in the Hilizamurugo village community were 1) the occurrence of a shift in the attitude of community tolerance through mutual cooperation activities in the Hilizamurugo village community, Susua sub-district, South Nias district caused by several factors such as daily activities, the existence of a system wages/salaries, and there is a heavy feeling of calling or gathering residents to work together. 2) the implementation of gotong royong in Hilizamurugo village, Susua sub-district, South Nias district is strongly influenced by the role of community leaders who always urge and motivate the community to always participate in gotong royong activities. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the role of community leaders is to always urge the community to continue to do mutual cooperation, both mutual cooperation and mutual cooperation, please help so that the values ​​of togetherness, cooperation between members of the community can be better, prioritizing common interests above personal interests. , help each other selflessly and always maintain and maintain the values ​​of gotong royong which are the legacy of previous parents.

Abstract

This research is motivated by student learning outcomes that are still low. This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the application of the Thinking Ability Improvement Learning Strategy (SPPKB) in PPKn subjects in class VIII-A of Fajarmas Private Junior High School Bawona'uru. The research method used is a qualitative research method with the type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII of Fajarmas Private Junior High School Bawona'uru in the 2021/2022 academic year. object of research class VIII-A with a total of 23 people. The findings of the study using the Thinking Ability Improvement Learning Strategy (SPPKB) showed that the result of the percentage of completeness in processing the value of learning outcomes in the first cycle was 52.17% while the processing of learning outcomes in the second cycle was 86.95%. So it can be concluded that the Thinking Ability Improvement Learning Strategy (SPPKB) is a more effective learning strategy to improve student learning outcomes. Because the Thinking Ability Improvement Learning Strategy (SPPKB) makes students more active in the teaching and learning process. The suggestion offered by researchers is that the Thinking Ability Improvement Learning Strategy (SPPKB) should be used as an alternative in learning because it can improve student learning outcomes more actively and effectively.
