Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa sejauh mana perbandingan siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dalam menyikapi persoalan ilmiah dan membandingkannya dengan data sementara sebelumnya yang didapatkan oleh peneliti. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Negeri di Kabupaten Kerinci. Penelitian ini melibatkan 50 siswa sebagai responden yang terdiri dari 25 siswa laki-laki dan 25 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis Rasch untuk menelaah skala pengukuran, keadaan umum siswa, dan keadaan spesifik antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skala yang disusun dan responden yang dipilih dalam pengukuran sesuai dengan tuntutan Rasch model. Kemudian sikap ilmiah siswa secara umum baik laki-laki dan perempuan menunjukkan rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dari rata-rata item pengukuran dengan menggunakan Rasch model. Dalam satuan Logits Sikap ilmiah perempuan menunjukkan 1,28 dan Laki-laki 1,26. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sikap ilmiah laki-laki dan perempuan. This study aims to describe and analyze the extent to which male and female students compare in addressing scientific issues and compare them with the previous provisional data obtained by the researcher. This research is descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted in one of the public high schools in Kerinci Regency. This study involved 50 students as respondents consisting of 25 male and 25 female students. This study uses a Rasch analysis approach to examine the measurement scale, students' general condition, and the specific circumstances between male and female students. The results showed that the scale was compiled, and the respondents selected in the measurement were by the demands of the Rasch model. Then the general scientific attitude of students, both boys and girls, showed a higher average than the average of the measurement items using the Rasch model. In Logits, the scientific attitude of the female is 1.28, and the male is 1.26. The results of the study show that there is no significant difference between the scientific attitudes of men and women.

Abstract

PeneIitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan media pembeIajaran perakitan komputer, dan 2) menganaIisis keIayakan media pembeIajaran perakitan komputer tersebut. Adapun metode peneIitian yang digunakan adaIah Research and DeveIopment. Uji coba peneIitian bertempat di SMK Negeri 3 Banjarmasin dengan teknik pengumpuIan data berupa wawancara, angket, dan tes hasiI beIajar. Subjek peneIitian terdiri dari 30 orang siswa dan 1 orang guru mata peIajaran bersangkutan. Teknik anaIisis data yang digunakan adaIah anaIisis deskriptif kuaIitatif. Berdasarkan hasiI dari peneIitian, diketahui bahwa: 1) pengembangan media pembelajaran perakitan komputer tersebut menggunakan modeI pengembangan ADDlE, teknoIogi yang digunakan antara Iain HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Firebase, JSON, Construct2, X3DOM, dan BIend4web, 2) hasiI uji keIayakan media pembeIajaran menunjukkan bahwa media pembeIajaran Iayak dengan memenuhi tiga kriteria yakni kevaIidan, keefektivan, dan kepraktisan. HasiI uji kevaIidan yang diIakukan oleh 2 orang ahIi materi dan 2 orang ahIi media menunjukkan kriteria vaIiditas sangat tinggi. HasiI uji keefektivan yang diukur berdasarkan hasiI beIajar  peserta didik memperoIeh persentase ketuntasan sebesar 80%. Sedangkan hasiI tanggapan pengguna menunjukkan respon positif dari guru dan siswa. Sehingga media pembeIajaran yang dikembangkan dapat dikatakan Iayak.

Abstract

Validitas dan kepraktisan suatu produk merupakan bagian terpenting dari penelitian pengembangan, terlebih karena kajian yang dibawa bersentuhan dengan kearifan lokal sehingga penting untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan R&D (Research & Development). Tujuan penelitian yakni untuk mengetahui validitas dan kepraktisan modul pembelajaran kimia yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian pengembangan dengan model Plomp. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yakni angket (lembar validasi dan kepraktisan produk). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni Descriptive Statistics Approach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul dinyatakan valid (3,45) dan kepraktisan ditunjukkan dari kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran dengan rata-rata 92,89 pada kriteria “sangat tinggi”, serta rata-rata angket respon siswa sebesar 39,90 pada kategori “baik”. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteri sehingga produk ini dinyatakan layak untuk diimplementasi pada pembelajaran kimia. Kesimpulannya bahwa, modul kimia berbasis lahan basah dengan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR)-Sparkol bisa menjadi media pembelajaran kimia yang inovatif agar siswa memahami materi kimia secara nyata, efektif, dan ilmiah. The validity and practicality are the most important part of development research, mainly because the studies carried out are in contact with local wisdom, so it is essential to do this. This research is R&D (Research & Development). The purpose of the study was to determine the validity and practicality of the chemistry learning module developed. The research method used is development research with the Plomp model. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire (validation sheet and product practicality). The data analysis technique used is the Descriptive Statistics Approach. The results showed that the module development was declared valid (3.45), and practicality was shown from the teacher's ability to manage learning with an average of 92.89 on the "very high" criteria and the average student questionnaire response was 39.90 in the "good" category. " These results indicate that the developed teaching module has met the criteria so that this product is declared feasible to be implemented in chemistry learning. The conclusion is that the wetland-based chemistry module with Augmented Reality (AR)-Sparkol technology can be innovative chemistry learning media to understand chemistry in a real, effective, and scientific way.

Abstract

Abad ke-21 keterampilan berpikir kritis penting dimiliki peserta didik. Dunia pendidikan dituntut menyesuaikan perkembangan teknologi terhadap usaha peningkatan mutu pendidikan salah satunya penggunaan bahan ajar. Pembelajaran selama pandemi mendorong untuk dilakukan pengujian pendidikan jarak jauh. Bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi berupa E-LKPD berbantuan liveworksheet dapat menjadi solusi pembelajaran daring. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan kualitas LKPD elektonik pada konsep plantae berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis jenjang SMA yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode desain Evaluasi Formatif Tessmer, melalui langkah pengembangan 1) Self evaluation, 2) Expert Review, 3) One-to-one evaluation, dan 4) Small group evaluation. Subjek uji validitas adalah tiga orang ahli, subjek uji perorangan adalah tiga orang peserta didik kelas X SMA, subjek kelompok kecil adalah empat orang peserta didik kelas X SMA. Analisis data penelitian secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian E-LKPD menunjukkan bahwa kepraktisan harapan kategori sangat baik berdasarkan 7 aspek penilaian peserta didik dan keefektifan harapan kategori sangat baik berdasarkan 6 aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis (interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, eksplanasi, dan pengaturan diri). In the 21st century, critical thinking skills are essential for students. The world of education is required to adopt technological developments to improve the quality of education, one of which is teaching materials. Learning during the pandemic encourages distance education testing. Teaching materials that can be used in distance learning during a pandemic in electronic students worksheets and assisted by live worksheets can be an online learning solution. This study aims to describe the quality of the electronic students' worksheets on the Plantae concept based on valid, practical, and effective high school critical thinking skills. This research was conducted using the Tessmer Formative Evaluation method through the development steps of 1) Self-evaluation, 2) Expert Review, 3) One-to-one evaluation, and 4) Small group evaluation. The validity test subjects were three experts; the individual test subjects were three high school class X students; the small group subject was four high school class X students. Descriptive analysis of research data. The results of the electronic student's worksheets research show that the practicality of expectations in the very good category is based on seven aspects of student assessment, and the effectiveness of expectations in the very good category is based on six aspects of critical thinking skills (interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation).

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan kegiatan pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh yang mengutamakan pembelajaran mandiri dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi dan platform pembelajaran yang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kategori respon, motivasi belajar, dan hasil belajar siswa setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran fisika dengan Blended Learning berbantuan Schoology. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 251 siswa SMA Negeri Samarinda dengan sampel 66 siswa dari dua kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal serta angket respon dan motivasi, masing-masing angket terdiri dari 20 item pernyataan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data dengan menggambarkan data yang terkumpul apa adanya tanpa bermaksud membuat kesimpulan yang berlaku umum. Hasil penelitian sebagian besar siswa merespon cukup baik dengan persentase 59,09%, motivasi belajar sebagian besar siswa sedang dengan persentase 62,12%, dan hasil belajar sebagian besar siswa sedang. tinggi dengan persentase 34,85% dengan ketuntasan belajar secara keseluruhan sebesar 48% pada pembelajaran fisika dengan blended learning berbantuan Schoology. Penggunaan Blended Learning perlu memperhatikan kesesuaian model dengan materi yang diajarkan dan media atau platform yang digunakan. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the face to face learning activities to become distance learning that prioritizes independent learning by taking advantage of technological developments and available learning platforms. This study aims to describe the categories of students’ responses, learning motivation, and learning outcome after implementing physics learning with Blended Learning assisted with Schoology. This type of research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The population was 251 students in a Public High School at Samarinda with a sample of 66 students from two classes. The data collection technique used multiple-choice test questions with 20 questions and also responses and motivation questionnaires, each questionnaire consisted of 20 statement items. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics that are used to analyze data by describing the collected data as is without intending to make generally applicable conclusions. The result of the research was that most of the students responded quite well with a percentage of 59,09%, the learning motivation of most students was moderated with a percentage of 62,12%, and the learning outcomes of most of the students were high with a percentage of 34,85% with the overall learning completeness is 48% in a physics learning with blended learning assisted with Schoology. The use of Blended Learning needs to pay attention to the suitability of the model with the material being taught and the media or platform used.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the most relevant themes related to discovery learning through bibliometric analysis, with its input using the keyword "Discovery learning in Science Learning". The Scopus index database is used in this study as the source database to conduct a bibliometric study for an academic article in the period between 1976 to 2022. This research also uses the VOSviewer app as a bibliometric analysis tool to visualize networks of authors, countries, journals, and keywords. This study found that the number of publications on discovery learning has grown periodically. This study also identifies the top ten authors, top ten affiliations, the top ten countries, and the top ten journal publications as sources in the field of discovery learning. Keyword analysis proves that the study of discovery learning in the last four decades has centred on themes related to computer science education, learning models, discovery learning, public understanding/outreach, high school/introductory chemistry, and constructivism. The bibliometric analysis presented in this study provides relevant information about the main theme learned about discovery learning in science learning, which is seen in the increase in creativity, learning outcomes, and student achievement in school teaching and learning activities.

where it consists of 3 (three) levels, namely macroscopic, particulate, and symbolic. Learning resources with environmental integration and representation concepts are chemical learning media that can strengthen their understanding of learning. However, the chemistry teacher has not been judged to successfully achieve the essence of learning in the science aspect. This study aimed to analyze a chemical representation module contexted-wetland by three aspects (validity, practicality, effectivity). The Plomp Development Model was the research method chosen, but research content focused on to validity, practicality, and effectiveness of product. Especially in effecttiveness, the result also showed how students’ understanding to the chemistry and the wetland perspective. Technique, observation, and documentation were the collecting techniques used; Rasch modeling and descriptive statistics used were to find out the symptoms of the data, which was data interpretation; Rasch modeling result was as a preliminary stage in research, then doing others stage (developing context). The finding revealed that the Rasch modeling result demonstrated that person reliability is weak, so it showed that teachers needed to design learning that is suitable and according to student learning needs (preliminary stage). Furthermore, the chemical representation module contexted-wetland assessed worthy (valid, practice, effective) for use in class as a media for learning. The conclusion is developing the media for learning, especially integrating the wetland as local wisdom, chemical representation, and other things that can increase the number of college students because they, college students, are the future. Additionally, this research can be a new reference for teachers in designing instructional media in chemistry learning

Abstract

Rakat mufakat is defined as a form of unity in social life which goes hand in hand with deliberation. This descriptive quantitative study aimed to describe the character of rakat mufakat owned by students by applying a local wisdom-integrated module on heat and temperature topic. The research subject was 25 students of class X-6 in SMA Negeri 1 Angkinang, Kandangan city, which was assigned by using purposive sampling technique. The attainment of rakat mufakat character was analyzed by observation sheet filled out by two observers. The character of rakat mufakat consist of tolerance, democracy, and communicative. The measured indicators in this study were giving opportunities to state opinion, willing to accept different opinion, adapting to deliberation, and giving opinions while working in team. Generally, the attainment of rakat mufakat character in the form of average score was 3,47 with the percentage of 87% categorized as very good, while the attainment of rakat mufakat character in every meeting kept increasing with the attainment of 10% categorized as sufficient, 31% categorized as good, and 59% categorized as very good. It shows that the application of local wisdom-integrated module on heat and temperature topic can train the character of rakat mufakat to students. The insertion of the character is important to conserve local cultural values.

Abstract

Kurangnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika diakibatkan dari faktor internal ataupun eksternal seperti metode  pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, dan materi yang digunakan kurang menarik. Cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dengan bahan ajar yang menarik dan interaktif salah satunya pengembangan LKPD dalam bentuk elektronik yang dikaitkan dengan kearifan budaya lokal Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  proses dan juga hasil dari pengembangan E-LKPD pada materi lingkaran berbasis etnomatematika melalui pendekatan saintifik untuk SMP/MTs yang valid. Metode Research and Development atau R&D adalah metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini, dan dengan  model 4D sampai pada tahap pengembangan saja. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini didasarkan pada uji validitas yang diperoleh melalui analisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari lembar validasi pada tahap develop yang dilakukan oleh tiga ahli. Menurut skor yang diberikan oleh ketiga ahli, didapatkan skor rata-rata 3,51, artinya E-LKPD termasuk kategori valid dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. The lack of student interest in learning mathematics is caused by internal or external factors such as learning methods that are less varied and the material used could be more attractive. One way that can be done to overcome this is with interesting and interactive teaching materials, one of which is the development of the student worksheet in electronic form that is linked to the local cultural wisdom of South Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the process and results of developing an E-student worksheet on ethnomathematical-based circle material through a valid scientific approach for SMP/MTs. The Research and Development or R&D method is used in this research, and the 4D model only reaches the development stage. The data analysis technique used in this study was based on the validity test obtained through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the validation sheet at the development stage carried out by three experts. According to the scores given by the three experts, an average score of 3.51 was obtained, meaning that the E-LKPD was included in the valid category and could be used in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis STEM-Inkuiri pada materi sistem organ dan organisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas modul berbasis STEM-Inkuiri untuk meningkatkan literasi sains. Model pengembangan yang digunakan merupakan model pengembangan 4D oleh Thiagarajan hanya sampai pada tahap validasi para ahli (develop). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berdasarkan data angket validasi yang dilakukan oleh enam orang ahli yang dianalisis menggunakan formula Aiken’s V serta analisis reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach dengan bantuan SPSS 24. Validitas modul, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan tes literasi secara berturut-turut sebesar 0,87, 0,88 dan 0,90 dinyatakan valid dengan kriteria “sangat tinggi”. Nilai reliabilitas modul, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan tes literasi secara berturut-turut berdasarkan Cronbach Alpha sebesar 0,81, 0,88 dan 0,91 yang artinya memiliki reliabilitas “sangat tinggi”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul sistem organ dan organisme berbasis STEM-inquiry telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan reliabel sehingga layak untuk digunakan. This research is research on the development of a STEM-Inquiry-based science module on organ systems and organisms. The purpose of this study was to know the validity and reliability of the STEM-Inquiry based module to improve scientific literacy. This research used the 4D development models by Thiagarajan, only reached the developer's validation stage. The subjects in this study were experts consisting of academics and practitioners. The data was collected through a validation questionnaire by six experts and analyzed using the Aiken's V formula and the reliability analysis of the Alpha Cronbach formulas with the help of SPSS 24. Module validity, lesson plan and literacy test results were 0.87, 0.88 and 0.90 respectively were declared valid with "very high" criteria. Reliability module, lesson plan and literacy test results based on Cronbach Alpha are 0.81, 0.88 and 0.91, respectively, which meant they had "very high" reliability. This shows that the development of the organ system and organism module on STEM-inquiry-based has met the valid and reliable criteria so that it is feasible to use.
