Abstract

Modern lifestyle requires every human being to be able to move quickly both inside and outside the room. Various kinds of health risks can threaten all human activities, one of which is the free radical element. Many things can be done to prevent free radicals, namely healthy living, by exercising and consuming food and drinks that are beneficial to our body. Wedang secang is one drink that is beneficial to the body, made from wood extract of secang and other herbs. Our partner Ms. Windi is a secang drink maker. Mrs. Windi packs a drink with a bottle. However, the beverage can not last long, in two days the beverage has been fermented. Based on that, the Community Service was conducted to provide diversification of secang drinks into secang candy and secang powder using FGD and workshops. Not only making products, but also taught packaging and marketing procedures.

Abstract

The development of more and more modern markets makes it a challenge for the existence of the people's market. The conditions of modern market services that are clean, fast and the variety of product variants greatly affect the income of the people's market traders are indeed very different, but there is a unique value of bargaining and emotional interaction in the people's market that cannot be found in the modern market. Improving people's market services in Sidoarjo is the government's goal because the market is one of the pillars of the economy of the people in Sidoarjo which currently has 19 locations of people's markets with 14,802 traders. To make a people's market with standardized services, it is necessary to have a mapping of market management risks originating from consumers and managers. Therefore, the Universitas Negeri Surabaya's PKM team assisted market managers in Sidoarjo to map out all the risks in the market. From the identification results, there are 21 types of risk grouped into 5 severe risks, 10 moderate risks, and 6 mild risks. Risk classification is based on the magnitude of the impact caused. Knowing the risks from the start is very useful as a basis for determining risk management strategies which will subsequently have an impact on a safe and comfortable market environment for traders, buyers, and market managers.

Abstract

The city of Surabaya is the city with the second highest number of people affected by the Covid-19 virus after DKI Jakarta. Surabaya is the center for administrative service activities, offices, services, shopping, industry and other supporting sectors. With the Covid-19 virus pandemic spreading so fast, the Surabaya City government issued regulations for working at home, studying at home, and limiting activities that led to large gatherings of people. Problems arise when the activities of schools, agencies, offices, motorcycle taxis, and some informal workers are economically affected. As well as government regulations that must be obeyed in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic, it also needs to be understood. This community service has a target, namely increasing food security, especially in terms of meeting basic needs. The implementer understands that in terms of meeting their basic needs, they have a few problems related to how to get it due to the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), the distribution of PKM funds as foodstuffs is carried out in order to meet the basic food needs of the people affected by Covid-19 so that it can support public welfare. The method used is data collection of students and contract workers / utsourcing affected by Covid 19 who survive in boarding houses around the UNESA Ketintang campus location and distribution of nutrition and immunity enhancing food ingredients. As a result, there were 35 packages distributed to management students and non-contract / outsourcing FE Unesa who were affected by Covid 19 to meet food needs. Recipients of basic food packages consider that the packages are very important to meet food needs and maintain body resistance so that they are not susceptible to disease
