Abstract

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, has nearly one million mosques, is used for daily and Friday collective prayers, and is thought to be at high risk of being infected with Covid-19. The essence of the problem is that the five daily prayers and Friday prayers once a week have become controversial, physical crowds are at risk of Covid-19. The theory of 'Experiential education' by John Dewey is used to explain social interactions in mosques between imams and makmum, ustadz and people, Muslim leaders and citizens. They exchanged experiences in dealing with Covid-19.. This study aims to explain the role of mosques in increasing knowledge, attitudes, and skills in preventing and overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study uses a phenomenological approach.. The results of this study can be concluded that first, Friday prayers at the mosque are closed for two weeks. Second, there are three groups of crowds that occur in the mosque environment with different transmission risks between mosques. Third, the protocol  went well because of the results of the education of religious leaders and community leaders. Fourth, ablution is relevant to 3M to prevent the Covid-19. Fifth, the cohesiveness of mosque leaders and the Covid-19 cluster is a lesson for the community at the mosque and in the market. The knowledge and experience of Muslim residents following ustadz and khotib ensures the sustainability of 3M implementation in every village.

This research uses descriptive Correlative research method with cross sectional approach. The sample used in this study is cluster sampling with a sample of 40 respondents. The statistical test used in this study is chi square statistical test. The results obtained Univariate analysis found that the majority of Gravida 2 was 18 (45%), the majority of high school education was 23 (57.5%) and ANC visits were in the good category 4x 25 (62.5%), while the bivariate analysis stated that education with ANC visits had p-value 0.012 means p-value alpha that is 0.012 0.05 which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with the conclusion that there is a correlation between education and ANC visit.

Abstract

Bacteria is one of the microorganisms that we can easily find in nature. Bacteria can be classified into benefical bacteria and harmful bacteria. One of the bacteria classified as benefical bacteria is lactic acid bacteria (LAB). One of the bacteria included in LAB is probiotic bacteria.  Probiotic bacteria can be isolated from several sources, one of which is breast milk. The functionality of probiotics is seen by the production of exopolysaccharides (EPS). EPS is produced through the expression of the fructosyltransferase (ftf) gene. The samples used in this study were 16 isolates of candidate probiotic bacteria from breast milk. The stages of this research included reculture of probiotic isolates, isolation of bacterial genomic DNA, amplification of isolates with 16s rRNA primers, amplification of isolates with primary lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and amplification of isolates with specific primers of ftf gene. The results showed that 10 of 16 probiotic bacterial isolates had the ftf gene indicated by the presence of DNA bands on the electrophoregram with a size 58 bp.

Abstract

Maternal-fetal attachment is crucial for a mother to establish a healthy psychological relationship with her unborn baby. This relationship progresses during the week of gestation. Many studies support the evidence of the impact of maternal-fetal attachment on mothers’ mental well-being during both antenatal and postnatal. For a baby, maternal-fetal attachment is essential to determine his development. Family, particularly the husband, plays an essential role in supporting the mother to experience positive maternal-fetal attachment during pregnancy. This study was to investigate the relationship between family support with maternal-fetal attachment among expectant mother. This sample was drawn using the purposive sampling method based on criteria that include mothers in their third trimester, mothers with any age range, mothers with no complications during the current pregnancy, and mothers who stay together with their husbands and or family. Seventy-seven expectant mothers completed the Indonesian version of the Prenatal Attachment Inventory and family support questionnaires. Kendal tau was applied to calculate the statistical relationship between two variables (p0.05). The results showed that more than 50% mother obtained support from their family, and more than 50% mother have high score of maternal-fetal attachment. There were a significant relationship between family support and maternal-fetal attachment (p 0.000). The conclusion of this study was that there were a significant relationship between family support with maternal-fetal attachment. This finding provides evidence of the significant role of family support for maternal mental well-being through maternal-fetal attachment during pregnancy. Abstract

Infancy and toddlerhood are an important period in child development. So, in providing high-quality and comprehensive care for infants and toddlers, it is very important for parents to know the development of infants and toddlers as a basis for knowing further developments, namely pre-school, school, puberty and adolescence. Parents, especially mothers, must have knowledge about the development process in pre-school age children so that if there are developmental abnormalities, they can be detected early. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of mothers with child care at Muthia Daycare Sleman. This study used a cross sectional approach with quantitative research. The samples used by the quota sampling method were all mothers who cared for their toddlers at Muthia Daycare Sleman (TPA) as many as 30 mothers. Collecting data with a questionnaire then the data was processed and descriptive analysis was carried out with a computer system. The results showed that most of the respondents were mothers with college education, namely 21 mothers (70%), most of them were of reproductive age, as many as 20 mothers (66.7%) in the age range of 30-40 years, most had attended seminars or training on parenting or growth and development of toddlers as many as 16 (53.3%), the need for information and education that was more needed by mothers related to gross motor skills of toddlers was 10 mothers (33.3%). The main suggestion is the need for stakeholder cooperation in an effort to increase mothers' understanding of the growth and development of toddlers, especially the existence of communication between parenting schools and parents so that the growth and development of toddlers is optimal.
