Assuthur: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is an open-access journal published by the Arabic Education Department of Postgraduate Program, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. The purpose of this scientific journal is to disseminate the knowledge gained as a consequence of the study, and it is available to researchers who wish to increase their understanding in those specific areas. Assuthur: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is a journal of scholarly research on Arabic language education, linguistics, and literature. It is open to anybody who wishes to acquire information based on credible research in any discipline. Contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation of submitted papers are assessed by anonymous reviewers using double-blind peer review. This publication is issued twice yearly (June and December). Abstract

This article aims to explain the professional competence of teachers and the problems encountered in learning Arabic. The research method used is literature review. In fact, the teacher is a strategic profession, the teacher has a noble duty to educate and build the character of the nation. Therefore, teachers must know and develop their competence, especially in teaching Arabic. The competencies in question are linguistic and non-linguistic competencies. The fact is that in the field there are still many Arabic teachers who do not meet the ideal criteria, so it is necessary to hold self-development training in order to become a professional Arabic teacher.

Abstract

In learning Arabic, techniques or methods are needed that can support students so that they can understand the material conveyed by the teacher more quickly, especially in Indonesia, it is not easy for students to quickly understand Arabic because it is a foreign language. done is through the Think Pair Share learning model. This research uses classroom action research at MTS Nurul Haramain. This research lasts for two cycles. For data collection techniques in this research we’re using quantitative dan qualitative. The analytical method used is qualitative and quantitative research. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share method could improve students' Arabic reading and writing skills before the implementation of the Action. The average score obtained is 65% then in the first cycle the average score increases to 72%, and in the second cycle it increases to 95%. It means that at the end of the second cycle, the students have shown complete learning. The results of this study can be concluded that, using the Think Pair Share method can improve students' reading and writing skills. student learning outcomes in Arabic lessons increase in accordance with the KKM standards that have been determined by the school. The suggestions that the author can give can be a reference that the use of the Think Pair Share method can be used as an alternative for teachers and students in an effort to improve reading and writing Arabic skills, especially in fostering student learning activities to be more courageous and confident in expressing opinions. Think-Pair-Share (TPS) is a strategy to increase students' understanding in groups, where students with low levels of understanding will be combined with students who have high levels of understanding. This will help students who have low levels of understanding to be able to think more critically while learning through their group friends to be able to solve the problems given by the teacher. Because this TPS strategy requires students to be more active in class

Abstract

The Ministry of Religion has issued a decision in 2019 for curriculum changes in PAI and Arabic subjects to replace the previous KMA decision, namely KMA 164 and now replaced with KMA 183 & 184. With this new thing, some differences will also be found. This research aims to describe the differences and similarities that exist in specific competencies in cognitive shutter as well as the advantages and disadvantages that exist in Arabic subjects. This study used a literature study approach by means of literature and the object of research was the Arabic language curriculum in class VII Tsanawiyyah. It was found that there are several differences and similarities in terms of objectives and materials that must be mastered by students. Therefore, the teacher must adjust more and be more competent in teaching learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to examine the style of Arabic literature during the time of Jahiliyah, Shadr Islam (the beginning of Islam) and Umawiyah. The method used in this study is the analytical descriptive method, namely by describing how the form or pattern of Arabic literature during the time of Jahiliyah, Shadr Islam (the beginning of Islam) and Umawiyah. While the approach applied in this study is a historical approach, where researchers look for histories related to the style of Arabic literature during the Jahiliyah, Shadr Islam (the beginning of Islam) and Umawiyah. The results of this research are 1) in the Jahiliyah era, the style of Prose and Poetry in this era is almost the same, starting from the lafadznya which is clear and eloquent, has a deep meaning, rhymes. Prose at this time also consisted of Sermons, Testaments, Matsals, Hikmah, and Qissoh. 2) Shadr Islam In this age Prose and Poetry also developed, but Prose was much more developed than poetry. Especially in the Khutbah, this is because at this time the Khutbah is used to ignite the spirit of the warriors to fight to spread Islam. While poetry has not developed enough, this is because poets at this time are busy fighting and studying the Qur'an and hadith. So, in terms of meaning, imagination, lafadz, and language style do not achieve high dignity. Prose at this time included the Khutbah, Matsal, and Kitabah. 3) The Age of the Umayyad Dynasty, in this age Prose and Poetry are much developed rapidly compared to the previous two eras. This development was due to the emergence of political parties so that many sermons and poems developed to support their respective parties, and this became a source of income for poets. However, at this time poetry had begun to deviate from its original purpose of spreading Islam using good language, but after the establishment of the Umayyads they used the politics of violence and deceit which made it compulsory to buy oral poets. Prose at this time included the Khutbah, Rasail, and Kitabah which in terms of language imitated and decorated from the language style of the Qur'an which was smooth, clear, and had a deep meaning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana peta sebaran guru Bahasa Arab pada jenjang MTs dan MA  di Kota Kotamobagu pada tahun 2023 yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Angket disebar kepada guru-guru Bahasa Arab pada jenjang MTs dan MA di Kota Kotamobagu untuk mendapatkan data terkait latar belakang pendidikan dan beban mengajar. Wawancara kepada wakil-wakil kepala Madrasah bidang kurikulum dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi tambahan terkait gambaran kebutuhan guru bahasa Arab yang ada di masing-masing Madrasah. Dan dokumentasi dilakukan untuk memperoleh data tambahan berupa keadan guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat 16 orang guru Bahasa Arab yang tersebar di 4 MTs dan 2 MA di Kota Kotamobagu. Berdasarkan jumlah tersebut masih terdapat guru yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan non bahasa Arab. Dari jumlah tersebut pula diketahui bahwa sebagian besar guru tersebut belum tersertifikasi pendidik sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu. Kekurangan dan kelebihan jam mengajar juga menajadi fenomena yang turut terjadi pada guru-guru Bahasa Arab di Kota Kotamobagu. Sehingga berdasrakan hasil analisis dan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa sebaran guru Bahasa Arab baik pada jenjang MTs maupun MA di Kota Kotamobagu belum merata. Atau dengan kata lain, belum sesuainya distribusi jumlah guru Bahasa Arab dengan keadaan Madrasah

Abstract

This Article discusses the tracer study of Arabic language education alumni of the Sultan Amai Gorontalo State Islamic Institute. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the alumni profile in the world of work and how stakeholders respond to alumni performance. This research includes descriptive quantitative research using the survey method. This research was conducted through google form with 113 alumni respondents and 9 stakeholders. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, the data analysis technique used percentages and a Likert scale. Based on the results of the study, the profile of alumni who completed the undergraduate education program was 89% and 11% continued the master's education program, 84% of the alumni had found work, 92% worked as education personnel, with a waiting period of less than 3 months 56% and those who had worked before graduating 24%. As for the responses regarding stakeholders related to alumni performance regarding the seven aspects, namely ethics, expertise in the field of science, use of information technology, teamwork, and self-development, most of them have received very good responses from stakeholders.

تهدف هذه الدراسة التي نحن بصدد القيام، إلى تحديد طبيعة العلاقة بين علمين أساسيين ومهمين فرضا وجودهما المعرفي والعلمي في الساحة البحثية منذ أن ظهور فعل الكتابة الإنسانية. وهما التاريخ والأدب. فأي علاقة تربط هذين المفهومين؟ وهل يمكن الفصل بينهما؟ أم أنهما متلازمان لا يمكن الفصل بينهما؟. أم أن الفصل بينهما نظري فقط؟. تلكم هي الأسئلة التي سنحاول الإجابة عنها من خلال هذا المقال. Abstract

The novel is an imitation of the life of the society around it. Literary works such as novels are cultural products that hold value as a means of communication for conveying ideas in the form of texts or stories, providing thousands of meanings within, especially in discussing the reality of social life. "Woman at Point Zero" is a novel by Nawal El Saadawi that serves as a form of critique directed towards the culture ingrained in her country. Feminist ideas are encapsulated within it, prompting researchers to seek signs and symbols of gender inequality arising from biological differences seen through social, political, and cultural aspects. Employing heuristic and hermeneutic readings with Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic theory, four quotations about symbols of gender inequality stemming from biological differences are derived from the social aspect, two quotations from the political aspect, and two quotations from the economic aspect

Abstract

Teori kognitif merupakan kerangka berfikir yang sangat relevan dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Keberadaan teori kognitif mencakup pemerolehan bahasa, pembelajaran bermakna, serta individualisme kognitif menjadi faktor krusial dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami implementasi teori kognitif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MA Al-Huda. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk menguraikan penerapan teori kognitif sehingga dapat membawa perubahan perilaku pada peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis berusaha mengungkap metode-metode yang diterapkan oleh pendidik bahasa Arab di MA Al-Huda, serta fenomena pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan memanfaatkan teori tersebut, tanpa melakukan intervensi atau perubahan substansial dalam implementasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teori belajar kognitif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab melibatkan refleksi pengalaman, diskusi bebas terbimbing, pengembangan berfikir kritis, penyelesaian masalah, pemaparan ide, dan eksplorasi konsep.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran Artificial Intelligence (AI), khususnya Generative AI, dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dan pentingnya literasi AI bagi pengajar, siswa, dan orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan, studi tersebut digunakan untuk menelaah sejauh mana AI digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa di luar negeri, prospek Generative AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, serta dampak dan kebutuhan literasi AI. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Generative AI, seperti ChatGPT, memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. AI ini dapat menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individu, memberikan materi pembelajaran interaktif, dan memfasilitasi komunikasi dengan penutur asli. Namun, penggunaan AI juga menimbulkan tantangan, termasuk masalah bias dalam hasil yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu, literasi AI menjadi krusial untuk memahami batasan dan etika penggunaan teknologi ini. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi perlunya pengembangan AI yang dapat dioptimalkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, sambil menyoroti pentingnya pemahaman etis dan literasi AI bagi semua pihak terlibat dalam pendidikan.
