Authors who intend to submit a manuscript for publication in JPPI obliged to understand correctly the instructions and the ins and outs of the provisions on this journal. For authors who have never published the article on this journal, we recommend reading all of the term and conditions are listed in the journal. Authors are requested to prepare a manuscript in accordance with the Instructions for preparation of manuscript and then to follow the Author Guidelines for submission. Before the manuscript is submitted to the editorial team, please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. The authors must refer to JPPI for writing format and style (Please download and use as a template for the initial manuscript submission). This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guidelines to authors or focus and scope, with great regret will not be processed and automatically rejected. The author who will submit the manuscript after deadline of submission as long as meet the requirement for publication in this journal will be process for next issue. The paper submission and reviewing procedures in JPPI will be processed with the web-based system via the Open Journal System (OJS) by Public Knowledge Project (PKP). We strongly prefer to receive manuscripts via our online submission system. With using our OJS system, authors can upload manuscript files (text, figures, and supplementary information) directly to our office and check on the status of Reviews their manuscripts during the review process.

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interpersonal communication and the work environment on employee performance in Bappeda Palembang. The sample was 40 employees in Bappeda Palembang. The survey for this study is based on 40 workers as respondents. Data were gathered and organized into a list of questions. The spss for Windows version 22 was used to analyze the outcomes using simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analyses, t-tests, and f-tests. The interpersonal communication has a partially negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, obtained interpersonal communication as well as the workplace environment have a significant impact on employee performance.]]>

<![CDATA[Adversity quotient is one of the intelligences possessed by a person in managing difficulties into a challenge that must be resolved to achieve certain goals. So that the adversity quotient must be owned by students to face various difficulties in completing lectures. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, student activity became limited, both in following the learning process and guidance in completing final assignments in the form of a thesis, which was increasingly difficult. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of adversity quotient of students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study numbered 237 students and were selected using proportional random sampling technique. This study uses an adversity quotient scale with a reliability level of 0.924 in the very good category. The data analysis technique used the score range/categorization formula. The results showed 7.2% or 17 guidance and counseling students had low adversity quotient, 67.1% or 159 students had medium adversity quotient and 25.7% or 61 students had high adversity quotient. It can be concluded that students in general tend to have a moderate adversity quotient during the Covid-19 epidemic. These findings indicate it is necessary to conduct a college level counseling and guidance program to increase the adversity quotient of students.]]>

Review literature in the form of articles published in reputable national and international journals. The results of the study show that academic advisors have an important role for students and universities. For students, academic advisors as mentors, discussion partners, related to self-development that is useful for the future. For universities, academic advisors are a means of providing structured and academic counseling services to consumers, in this case students university. <![CDATA[Guru dan tenaga kependidikan perlu memiliki perilaku kerja inovatif agar tujuan pendidikan dapat dicapai secara optimal. Apalagi saat pandemi covid-19 ini, sangat diperlukan guru dan tenaga kependidikan yang memiliki inovasi dalam bekerja. Kajian perilaku kerja inovatif di Indonesia lebih dominan di teliti pada organisasi yang menghasilkan produk atau perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis variabel-variabel apa saja yang mempengaruhi dan dipengaruhi oleh variabel perilaku kerja inovatif dalam lembaga pendidikan serta bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk inovasi yang dilakukan guru dan tenaga kependidikan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kajian kepustakaan. Artikel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah artikel yang dipublikasikan dari tahun 2017. Pencarian dilakukan dengan google scholar menggunakan kata kunci perilaku kerja inovatif dan innovative work behavior. Hasil pencarian ditemukan 27 artikel pada jurnal atau prosiding nasional dan internasional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan enam belas variabel yang mempengaruhi perilaku kerja inovatif guru atau tenaga kependidikan. Enam variabel menjadi variabel intervening untuk melihat perilaku kerja inovatif. Variabel perilaku kerja inovatif mempengaruhi dua variabel, yaitu kinerja dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Perilaku kerja inovatif juga menjadi variabel intervening dari variabel hard skill, soft skill, organisasi pembelajar dan motivasi yang mempengaruhi kinerja. Selain juga ditemukan perilaku inovasi guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims at finding the effectiveness of Toondoo Comic in teaching speaking at the second semester of Sendratasik Study Program of Hamzanwadi University in the academic year 2018-2019. This research was a pre experiment by using single group pre-test and post-test design. The population of the study was 47 students from A and B classes. The sample of the study was 17 students from class A. It was taken through purposive random sampling. A speaking test was used in collecting the data. The data collected were analyzed by using descriptive statistic, and paired sample t-test was used to test the hypothesis. It was performed using SPSS 22 for Windows. The result shows that the mean in the pre-test was 41.06 and was 60.71 in the post- test. Additionally, the hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test resulted significance (2-tailed) value level .000; it was lower than .05. This indicated that Toondoo comic was significantly effective in teaching speaking. Thus it is suggested that Tondoo comic is considered an alternative media in teaching and learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of learning financial management on investment behavior of Master of Management students at Pamulang University and to determine the effect of learning financial management on investment behavior moderated by gender. This research is an applied research type with a descriptive statistical verification approach. The population is Master of Management students class 2018 and 2019, sampling using purposive sampling so that the number of samples is 100 respondents. Data analysis using path analysis method using SmartPLS program. Data processing techniques using SEM method based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that there was an effect of financial management learning on investment behavior of Pamulang University Master of Management students, gender variable could not moderate the effect of financial management learning on investment behavior of Pamulang University Master of Management students.]]>

<![CDATA[There is no real data on students who need special service education in elementary schools for the DKI Jakarta area. This study is interested in identifying and analyzing elementary school students who need special service education. This study will determine the real condition of the prevalence of the number of students in elementary schools who need special education services. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The instrument in this study used questions derived from the variable characteristics and characteristics of children with special needs. We collaborated with 14 elementary schools in the Thousand Islands, DKI Jakarta and the number of respondents in this study was 70 teachers. The data analysis technique was carried out by statistical analysis for quantitative. Therefore, the results obtained from a number of questions were asked to respondents and then transferred to the frequency distribution table. The results showed that the special needs most needed by students with special needs are slow learning, learning difficulties and intellectual disorders. The demand for educational services can increase family outreach efforts with schools through communication according to the types of needs of students. Inclusive school environments are ready to change and adapt and consider the needs of all people. The future research is required for an IQ test to ascertain special needs for intellectual disabilities and learning disabilities.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis inovasi guru dalam pembelajaran di era pandemi covid-19 . Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 55/I Sridadi. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa deskripsi tentang inovasi guru dalam pembelajaran di era pandemi covid-19 yang diperoleh melalui metode wawancara dan observasi sebagai data utama serta dokumentasi sebagai data penunjang. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru kelas tinggi yang berjumlah 10 orang. Data di kumpulkan dan di analisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru melakukan beberapa inovasi dalam pembelajaran yaitu merancang pembelajaran dengan membuat skenario pembelajaran, menyiapkan bahan ajar dan media yang akan digunakan baik secara online maupun offline. Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan cara blended learning yaitu dengan membuat sintaks model blended learning (seeeking of information, acquisition of information dan synthesizing of knowledge). Guru juga menerapkan home visit dengan belajar bersama orang tua dan membentuk tutorial sebaya siswa dan orang tua.]]>

Dimana bisnis bukan sekedar dan selalu mengarah pada kompetisi akan tetapi menuju pada kolaborasi. Kolaborasi bisnis menjadi pilihan optimal dalam menjalankan strategi bisnis internasional. Fab Enterprises merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang menerapkan konsep kolaborasi dimana terdapat perusahaan partner kolaborasi diantaranya PT. Carestar/harvestar, PT. Astarika Stuwarindo, pt. Alam Sejati Trans, dan PT. Serunting Sriwijaya. Sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang logistic skala internasioanl, strategi bisnis kolaborasi yang dilakukan mendongkrak kinerja dan mendapatkan respon positif dari beberapa pihak. Artikel ini bermaksud mengupas bagaimana manajemen strategi yang diterapkan Fab Enterprises dalam menjalin hubungan kerjasama yang baik sehingga apa yang menjadi visi, misi, dan tujuannya dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Peneliti mengambil data melalui wawancara mendalam kepada informan, observasi, dan pengambilan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teori Milles dan Haberman, yaitu model analisis interaktif, dimulai dari kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data/penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa, manajemen strategi yang diterapkan dalam membangun kolaborasi bisnis melalui tiga tahapan. Yang pertama perumusan strategi berdasar audit internal dan eksternal perusahaan, berdasar visi misi dan tujuan perusahaan sehingga menghasilkan strategi membentuk kepercayaan dan rekanan bisnis yang baik. Kedua implementasi strategi yang didasarkan pada alokasi sumber daya yang efektif, membuat kebijakan pelaksanaan, serta memberikan motivasi. Ketiga adalah evaluasi strategi dengan melakukan monitoring/pengamatan selama proses berjalan dan secara berkala.]]>

<![CDATA[Law number 11 of 2012 concerning the Child Criminal Justice System (UU SPPA) which has been published has brought a change in the paradigm of child crime with a prison nuance to a more child-friendly concept towards restorative justice. However, the phenomenon found in minors is still undergoing legal proceedings. Meanwhile, during the legal process, children are detained in detention centers and placed outside the Special Development Institution for Children (LPKA) and Temporary Child Placement Agency (LPAS). This research was conducted using a qualitative method to child prisoners in West Kalimantan Province. This research was conducted by conducting structured interviews and it carried the analysis of this research out with three lines, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification. The findings of the study were helping to children in legal conflict in a fairly good range, even though help from expert advocates and the community had not been fully achieved. The reason it still places many children outside the LPKA is because there are no LPKA or LPAS in the district. Therefore, it is necessary to add LPKA or LPAS to pay attention to the needs of education, health and the needs of children of inmates so that it guarantees their growth and development.]]>
