Sasaran J-ABDIMAS - Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat merupakan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang ditertbitkan dan dikelola oleh Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P2M) Politeknik Negeri Malang. J-ABDIMAS diharapakan mampu menjadi media publikasi seluruh civitas akademika terkait dengan hasil inovasi dan solusi dalam berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi di masyarakat. Cakupan J-ABDIMAS berisi publikasi hasil Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang bersifat strategis, tepat guna, implementatif dari ilmu pengetahuan terutama bagi penerapan bisnis. Secara umum fokus terhadap pelayanan publik, ketahanan pangan, ekonomi masyarakat, teknologi tepat guna, desain teknologi, pemberdayaan masyarakat, akses sosial, pelayanan pendidikan, teknologi ramah lingkungan, pengembangan masyarakat berbasis aset, riset berbasis masyarakat, layanan pembelajaran bagi masyarakat, dan pengembangan masyarakat.

Abstract

 The purpose of this activity to provide knowledge sharing related to business management to build financial independence of the orphanage through business management training at the Al - Husna Orphanage - Malang. The first step for this program is to open the mind of the orphanage children that they must be financially independent after leaving the orphanage. In addition, the marketing potential for entrepreneurs is widely open for them. Fostering entrepreneurial ideas, planning strategies to marketing continue to evolve into today's society's needs. It is objected that the presence of lecturers and students who are also entrepreneurial practitioners will provide insight and meaningful new knowledge for all participants.

Abstract

Wringinsongo is one of the rural areas in Tumpang District, Malang Regency, East Java Province that offers numerous advantages, particularly in the agricultural and tourism sectors. Wringinsongo's growing population, increasingly diverse consumption patterns, the establishment of modern markets, and community economic activities all contribute to increased waste generation. The volume of waste at the Wringinsongo Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) has reached 15 m3, causing environmental and social issues. The majority of the waste in TPS and TPA is organic waste generated by households. The accumulation of organic waste in TPS and TPA will produce anaerobic decomposition compounds, namely methane gas, which is the primary cause of the greenhouse effect, which has a negative impact on the environment. Composting is one method of waste processing that can be used to reduce waste in TPA and TPS. Basic composting knowledge and skills are acquired during the composting process in order to achieve the desired results. Thus, community service is provided with the intention of offering technical composting guidance. Counseling and direct practice in composting are the methods used. Counseling is used to provide insight into waste processing via composting, while practice is employed to provide skills and direction in the composting process. This activity generates initial compost, which can be added to with new organic waste every day, enables household organic waste to be managed independently.

Abstract

This activity aims to guide small businesses, especially Keripik Barokah in Batu City. By completing this activity, Keripik Barokah can take advantage and maximize the Instagram platform by presenting content related to the Keripik Barokah or content that is closely related to any information about Keripik Barokah. Through Content uploaded to Instagram, it will provide awareness about products from Barokah Chips and encourage consumers to purchase products in the Batu City area and other cities. The approach used by providing guidance step by step from the first by creating an official Instagram business account from Keripik Barokah, namely @barokahchips_batu, and provides the next step about various examples of creating contents that are possible to be uploaded on a business account. In addition, to maximize the analysis of the use of business Instagram, an explanation of the benefits of Instagram Insight is also given to see the response of account visitors so they can keep up with the increasingly rapid development of digital marketing nowadays.

Abstract

Peningkatan kapasitas pelaku usaha skala mikro, kecil, dan menengah dalam menggunakan teknologi digital serta perangkatnya dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan literasi digital. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah agar memiliki pengetahuan literasi digital sehingga mampu menggunakan teknologi digital serta perangkatnya secara bijaksana, tepat guna, dan aman. Rumah Pengusaha Malang Raya (RPMR) merupakan paguyuban pengusaha Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) se-Kota Malang, Jawa Timur. RPMR memiliki cakupan wilayah Kota Malang, Kabupaten Malang, hingga Kota Batu dan memiliki 450 anggota yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah. Dengan jumlah anggota yang banyak perlu diberikan pelatihan bagi para pelaku usaha skala mikro, kecil dan menengah berupa pelatihan literasi digital yang nantinya dapat membantu mereka beradaptasi untuk menghadapi tantangan-tantangan dunia digital. Pelatihan literasi digital ini menggunakan materi dari program USAID ‘Digital Asia Accelerator (DAA) – Literasi Digital’ yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penggunaan teknologi digital atau pembangunan ekonomi yang aman dan tepat di Asia Tenggara. DAA berfokus kepada tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran publik tentang masalah keamanan digital dan meningkatkan perilaku aman berinternet dan memperkuat kemampuan sektor swasta khususnya UMKM untuk terlibat aktif daslam ekonomi digital melalui peningkatan dan ketrampilan digital serta keamanan siber (cybersecurity)

Abstract

At the village level, administrative services are the main service and are directly related to the needs of the community. Administrative services can be in the form of issuing certificates, cover letters, letters of recommendation, legalization, and other letters. For administrative services in correspondence, the problems faced by the Karangduren village office regarding the installation of computer networks. Currently, computers that store data and applications for mailing repositories are not yet connected to other computers, resulting in queuing and slow document processing. With these problems, PPM (Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat) activities will be carried out in the form of "Implementation of Computer Network Installation to Support Mailing Repository Applications at the Karangduren Village Office, Kec. Pakisaji, Kab. Malang". Through PPM activities in Karangduren village, Kec. Pakisaji, Kab. Malang is done to help solve problems regarding the installation of computer networks. By installing a computer network at the village office, all computers in the village office can be connected. So with the installation of this computer network, it can improve the service and performance of the Karangduren Village Office in serving the community. The results of this PPM activity will produce a computer network installation design and a basic computer network manual.

Abstract

The "Berkah Jaya" Business Group is one of the business groups in Sukonolo Village - Kecamatan Bululawang which is engaged in the trading business, where the products traded, among others: food, beverages, soap, floor cleaner, hand soap, toothbrushes, and others. The goods sold in this business group are obtained from large markets in Malang. On the other hand, good customer products can be made simply by using raw materials that are readily available in Sukonolo Village. The purpose of community service (PPM) is to provide/transfer experience and skills in making and entrepreneurship of floor cleaners in the business group - Sukonolo Village – Kecamatan Bululawang. PPM activities in the form of training were attended by 32 participants from business group members, with trainers from chemical engineering staff and assisted by several students The PPM activity was carried out at the Sukonolo Village Hall using the presentation, discussion, and practice of making floor cleaner. The results of the PPM showed that the participant's interest and enthusiasm for participating in the activity were very high, which was indicated by the ability of participants to make floor cleaner independently and the results of the questionnaire given, where 90% of participants stated that they were very satisfied

Abstract

This community service aims to develop technical skills in managing databases. So far, the “Lazarus" commission processed all regular membership fees manually. The repetitive work and recording errors happened along the way. With a total of 428 family members out of 993, the above data processing was inefficient and ineffective. Ms. Excel, especially the Data-Form feature will make database management easier for someone to process data entry, edit, search, and delete in a database table. When a database has been formed, the preparation of the annual report will also be able to be compiled efficiently & effectively, because the database is already stored in a soft file. Community service is carried out through training assistance. The activity begins with preparing teaching modules, followed by assisting to create a table model database in Ms. Excel. Subsequently, design a Data (Entry) Form model for recapitulation. The competencies have been achieved because in the end the database management has been simulated very well using real data & problems. Therefore, the final evaluation results declared that the database management model uses the Data Form successfully to help the "Lazarus" commission maximize its service.

Abstract

Managing family archive independently is one of the ways that can be used to activate the family function and give universal values of the family. By knowing the important of family archive management, it is urgently needed to provide guidance and training for the students’ mothers of TK Dharma Wanita Sengkaling, Dau, Malang, so they can do the archive management for their own family. This service is done by applying participatory method, a method that involved the service offers to directly involved in the activity. The activity was started with first, sharing about how to archive classification, practice in implementing technology in archive storing and the last one was the discussion. From the result of this service, it can be concluded that the participants of the activity are satisfied for by the result of the activity: they have online drive that can be used to save their family archive so they can avoid any damaging risk in the future.

Abstract

This Community Service (PPM) activity is carried out as a responsibility in fulfilling the obligations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The target objects in this PPM activity are women from the Asrama Brimob Batalyon B Pelopor, Kelurahan Ampeldento, Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang. This PPM activity seeks to provide understanding through materials and guidance to promote the sale of chili chips using social media. This guidance is given to the public through material presentation activities and hands-on practical activities on how to create written and photo content which will later be used as material to promote chili chips products so that they are expected to get customers outside the Asrama Brimob Ampeldento. From this Community Service (PPM) activity, it is hoped that a synergy will be created between the women of the Asrama Brimob Batalyon B Pelopor Kabupaten Malang and the Malang State Polytechnic, that this guidance activity can help partners in increasing their income through promotional activities and sales of chili chips by use social media continuously.

Abstract

Duwet Village have potential that cannot be underestimated. Duwet Village has a UMK that can produce several superior products, including corn rice (gerit), cassava crackers and bamboo crafts (besek). They need media that can be used for marketing media. However, the lack of promotion of the mainstay products produced by Duwet Village can affect the sustainability Therefore, we need a promotional media for superior products in Duwet village that can improve the quality of as well as support efforts to increase consumers of the mainstay products in Duwet village. Given the beauty of a promotional media but also a very effective promotional media and can bring many benefits to a business. With this problem, we propose the manufacture of displays of superior products from Duwet village. This display will be used as a special place to place corn rice, cassava crackers and bamboo crafts which are the mainstay of Duwet village. This display is very useful as a medium for promoting flagship products to all visitors who come to Duwet village which incidentally will become one of the local tourist destinations in Malang Regency.
