Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam membelajarkan matematika pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kepada anak tunanetra di SLB Muhammadiyah Cepu.Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru matematika dan seluruh kelas VIII di SLB Muhammadiyah Cepu. Data pada penelitian ini adalah data mengenai strategi guru dalam membelajarkan matematika pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar yang dihasilkan melalui observasi dan transkripsi data pada saat proses pembelajaran dalam dua kali observasi. Validasi data yang digunakan adalah member check, yaitu proses pengecekan data yang diperoleh peneliti kepada subjek penelitian untuk menguji kemungkinan dugaan-dugaan yang berbeda. Hasil dari penelitian ini pada kegiatan pendahuluan dan kegiatan penutup adalah guru menerapkan pembelajaran gerak dan irama.Sedangkan pada kegiatan inti, strategi guru dalam membelajarkan matematika yatg terkait pengetahuan konseptual pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar adalah dengan mengimplementasikan teori belajar bruner pada tahap enaktif, dengan mengenalkan konsep dari bentuk bangun ruang sisi datar dengan menggunakan media atau alat peraga yang terbuat dari kayu. Kata Kunci: strategi guru, pengetahuan konseptual, pembelajaran matematika, anak tunanetra.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of communication and problem solving of mathematical students in the material quadrilateral and triangle in class VII in one district of MTs Bandung. This type of research is qualitative research with phenomenology model which aims to interpret communication ability and ability to solve the mathematical problem of students. The subjects of this study were 24 students for communication skills and 25 students for math problem-solving skills. The result of data analysis shows that the mathematical communication ability of grade VII students in one MTs in Kabupaten Bandung is still relatively low with the highest percentage being in the low communication ability qualification which is 37.5%, while for students who have ability is get percentage equal to 29,2% and for students with high communication skills get a percentage of 33.3%, while for problem-solving skills in class VII is quite good with the highest percentage in qualification students with high problem-solving ability with a percentage of 44%, while for qualified students who ability is getting percentage by 40%, and for low qualifications only got a percentage of 16%.. Keywords: mathematical communication ability, mathematical problem-solving ability

Abstract

AbstractThe survey was conducted in the Computer Laboratory of Information System of STMIK Indonesia of Padang. The Head of Laboratory determined some criteria in selecting of acceptance of labor assistant candidate. These criteria were the Candidate Application Form (FPC), the Competitive Achievement Index (GPA), the test score, the English test score, and the interview results. The head of the laboratory performed the process of calculating the criteria value by summing the value of each criterion in deciding who was accepted as a labor assistant. Who has the highest number of criteria, then he/she was selected as a laboratory assistant. This allows occurring the less ideal decision because of the basis of decision-making based on calculations not using special calculation method yet to decision making. Therefore, the researcher performed the process of calculating of the criteria value by using a matrix-based calculation method that was Simple Additive Weighting  (SAW) method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of this study are expected to assist the Head of Labor in deciding the laboratory assistant based on the standard calculation as decision making. Keyword: SAW, AHP, Labor Assistant Candidate

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the AIR learning model on students' multi-mathematical representation abilities, student activities and learning motivation. The population of this research is all students of class VIII. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique. The selected sample consisted of two classes, namely VIIIB as the experimental class and VIIIC as the control class. This research is an experimental research design with Pretest-Postest Control Gruop. The results of the study can be concluded that: (1) There is a difference in the ability of multi mathematical representation of students in the class using the AIR learning model and the class using the direct learning model. (2) The effect of the AIR model is relatively high on the ability of students' multiple mathematical representations; 3) student learning activities as a whole are classified as very active; 4) student motivation is categorized high. Keywords : Auditory Intellectually Repetition, multi representations, student activities, student  motivation

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kinerja dosen matematika pada proses perkuliahan melalui  kegiatan lesson study dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan  yaitu menerapkan lesson study untuk meningkatkan kinerja dosen matematika. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu observasi terhadap dosen model dalam perkuliahan, metode angket dan wawancara mendalam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sebuah Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen  dan Ilmu Komputer di Surakarta. Pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai bulan Oktober – November 2016 sebanyak dua siklus penelitian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 dosen dengan keahlian  matematika. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan angket tertutup tentang respon mahasiswa setelah dosen mengajar. Metode analisis data menggunakan pendekatan proses siklik yakni data dianalisis sejak tindakan pembelajaran dilaksanakan (sejak dari plan-do-see), dikembangkan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung sampai diperoleh pembelajaran yang berkualitas/professional. Metode analisis data ini terdiri dari tiga langkah yaitu; reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan implementasi kegiatan lesson study dapat meningkatkan kinerja dosen matematika pada proses perkuliahan. Kata Kunci: Lesson study, Kinerja Dosen, matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat ex-post facto. instrumen yang digunakan untuk Pengumpulan data terdiri dari kuesioner dan tes prestasi belajar matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Tidak terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama kepercayaan diri dan pola asuh orang tua pada mata kuliah teori bilangan terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika; 2) Terdapat pengaruh kepercayaan diri  pada mata kuliah teori bilangan terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika.Kata Kunci: kepercayaan diri, pola asuh orang tua, prestasi belajar matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas model kooperatif, efektivitas model Quantum Teaching (QT), dan efektivitas model Quantum Teaching (QT) bila dibandingkan dengan model kooperatif jika ditinjau dari kreativitas belajar siswa.Populasi dari penelitian semu ini adalah  siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Turi yaitu VIII A, VIII B, VIII C, dan VIII D. Sampel penelitian adalah VIII B (kelas control) dan VIII A (kelas eksperimen). Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan tes kreativitas yang sudah diujicobakan (untuk diketahui valid dan reliable).Uji hipotesis berupa uji proporsi satu populasi dan uji proporsi dua populasi. Berdasarkan uji proporsi satu populasi kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 dengan taraf nyata 5% (0,004<0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Kooperatif tidak efektif. Sedangkan berdasarkan uji proporsi satu populasi kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,020 dengan taraf nyata 5% (0,020<0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Quantum Teaching tidak efektif. Jika kedua model dibandingkan maka berdasarkan uji proporsi dua populasi diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,869 dengan taraf nyata 5% dan dapat diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi lebih besar daripada taraf nyata (0,869>0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Quantum Teaching lebih efektif daripada model Kooperatif. Kata Kunci:     Efektivitas Pembelajaran, Model Quantum Teaching, Kreativitas Belajar

Abstract

This research aims to obtain information about the use of props model of bands of numbers in improving mathematics learning outcomes about the operation of arithmetic numbers in class V students I SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo academic year 2017/2018.This research was conducted at SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo UPT Education District Giriwoyo Wonogiri Regency, September to October 2017. The research method used is classroom action research with two learning improvement cycles. The object of this research is the students of grade V of SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo, amounting to 14 students with details of 9 male students and five female students. Instruments for collecting data are student observation sheets in the learning process, teacher observation sheets in the learning process, and test of learning outcomes.The result of the research shows that there is an increase in learning result from initial condition 60,35 to 77,50 in cycle II (final condition). In addition, the number of students who reached the minimum criteria of completeness was increased from 3 students at the initial condition of 12 students on the final conditions. From the results of the above research can be stated that the use of model props can improve the results of mathematics learning about integer counting operations in Grade V students of first semester SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo.Keywords: Operation Count, Number Band

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to develop a computer-based ARCS kind of classroom that valid, practical, and effective.This research adopting both qualitative and quantitative research and development with a method developed by Gall and the Borg. This research subject was students of engineering information Duta Bangsa Universityperiod 2018 / 2019.An instrument in this research consists of ( 1 ) an instrument assessment valid components model and devices supporting learning, ( 2 ) an instrument assessment practicality of faculty and students, and ( 3 ) instrument effectiveness of which includes sheets of the test results learning and chief appreciation students to learning linear algebra computer-based.The subject of this research is 25 students who took linear algebra.  The study showed that Kind of classroom computer-based ARCS that met the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. Practicality ARCS kind of classroom computer-based based on ( 1 ) assessments from he got from his lecturers have reached very practical criteria; ( 2 ) assessing the from students we have achieved very practical criteria. The current effectiveness of ARCS kind of classroom computer-based based on ( 1 ) the results of  THB students, fulfilled the criteria the current effectiveness of with the percentage 76 %, ( b ) appreciation students learning ARCS against computer-driven which reached the criteria for good. It is also can be said that there is a correlation between appreciation students learning arcs against computer-based learning about mathematics with the results of the first significance 5 % with a correlation coefficient r = 0,715  Keywords: Kind of classroom ARCS, computer, linear algebra.

Abstract

Nowadays, the government is promoting the Individual Learning Activity Sheet (UKBM) for the student in mathematics learning. UKBM provides opportunities for students to study independently and provides the chance for students to complete assignments (UKBM) differently for each student in one class. The aim of this study was to increase collaborative activity skills and student’s learning outcomes through puzzle-assisted Guided Discovery Learning learning models. This study was a classroom. action research within two cycles consisting of the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. The instruments used were observation sheets and test sheets. The teaching material is UKBM. The results of a guided discovery learning study assisted by puzzles with UKBM teaching materials there is an increase in student’s collaborative abilities and learning outcomes. Keywords: Guided Discovery Learning, Collaborative Ability, Learning Outcomes, Media Puzzle
