Abstract

Academic information system of Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram, has prepared academic data such as the grade of each course, Grade Point per Semester (GPS) and Grade Point Average (GPA). This needs to be equipped with class schedule, data of lecturers, assignment information and other announcements, as supporting the academic process, so that the system be comprehensively. On the other hand, the use of phonecell among academics of the Faculty of Engineering are already commonly used, some use more than one phonecell, as a means of communication and other purposes. For these reasons, in this study built SMS-based System for Academic Services that provide convenience to the academic community of the Faculty of Engineering, which obtain academic information and academic support through SMS. “SMS Request” will be served by a particular format, in order to authenticate users, the phone number should be registered firstly. In addition, the system service can be used by parents as a tool to monitor their children. The decision maker can also use this system to obtain valid information through SMS

Abstract

This research aims to study and understand the legal principles of legal protection arrangements rights of individuals and communities in the provision of land for the development of means of general interest based on Act No. 20 of 1961 and Act No. 2 of 2012.These research is normative law, therefore the method of approach is useful to review the normative foundations, norms, concepts of the law written in the legislation. The approach is the approach of the legislation, the concept approach, analytical approach, and comparative approach. The results after analysis showed that: a good provision of land for the development of means of general interest based on Act Number 20 of 1961 as well as based on Act Number 2 of 2012 while providing legal protection high on the right. This is reflected in the various provisions of the law are decanted in the second law. More over even provide the same legal protection, but between this law there are similarities and differences of laws principles and the legal process in the implementation

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the characteristics of the fishing settlement patterns formed in the Karang Panas before and after relocation, and identify the factors that influence what changes occur in the new fishing settlement. This study uses a qualitative method with rationalistic approach. The data collection was done by field observations by directly collecting data in the field and interviews are useful to obtain additional information that can complement and support the data obtained from field observations. The results of this study are the characteristics of the fishing settlement patterns in the environment before it relocated Karang Panas linear shape, face to face follow Ampenan shoreline. Those that shaped spread pattern while forming a linear pattern oriented toward the coast . In the new settlement the two sides are patterned parallel gradial. This pattern was deliberately drafted by the City of Mataram for residential land mengefesiensi reef fishing hot new environment and facilitate accessibility between residential one another. Disadvantages of this pattern is the absence of a common room which comes as naturally as shared space repair fishing nets and drying chamber as a means of socialization in the morning and afternoon. Togetherness which is the hallmark of the previous settlement patterns do not appear in the new settlements. While the factors that affect settlement patterns of changes in the characteristics of the fishing environment Karang Panas namely : 1) internal factors (endogeen), which is caused by the desire of the people want to relocate themselves in order to avoid the danger of seawater abrasion and personal social movement of the public to hold changes based on life choices adjust the times, 2) external factors (exogeen), which is the policy of the City of Mataram on relocation settlements and encouragement of the development environment that supports the demands of the times of economic activity

Abstract

This  research to investigate the effect of pearl powder addition in the process of carburization box to physical (microstructure) and mechanical properties (hardness test) of AISI 1018 after heat treatment.  In this research used a material of low carbon steel cylinder (AISI 1018). The process of making the specimen is done with to cut into several pieces, cutting done to ease in placing the specimen in the carburizing box, then wood charcoal powder and shell powder were weighed in accordance with the desired composition by mixing powder of 5 wt%, 10 wt%, and 15 wt%. The specimen was done heat treatment at a temperature of 9500C with the holding time at 2, 4 and 6 hours. Then, the specimen was done the Vickers hardness test, microstructure and composition  test. From this research it can be concluded that the highest hardness value was obtained at 15 wt% addition of shell powder it was 262.26 kg/mm2 and the initial material hardness value was 144.08 kg/mm2. From microstructure observation and composition test show that it subjected surface hardening because carbon diffusion into specimen.

Abstract

A molecular modeling has been carried out on the phenyl-phyrazolindole derivatives as anti-corrosion by ab initio methods at the HF/DZV level of theory. Quantum-chemical parameters for anti-corrosion compounds such as orbital energies (EHOMO and ELUMO), ionization potential (I), electron affinity (A) and electronegativity (χ) has a linear relationship with the anti-corrosion efficiency (IE%). The substituent changes on the anti-corrosion compound causes the enhancement of anti-corrosion eficiency. The 1NH2-PI compound has the highest anti-corrosion efficiency of 83.12%. This value is better than the phenyl- phyrazolindole (PI) which has anti-corrosion efficiency of 79.30%. This theoretical study will have a major contribution in helping the design and synthesis of novel anti-corrosion compound that has a higher efficiency

Abstract

Problem of label foods product very important because a part consumer is in muslim circle whereas in statistics more than 80% Indonesian occupation is Islam religion Consume activity certain of material foods for muslim it just not only for fulfill hungry but more than worship to God. For ensure the permitted of product then by producer, that product must imploring certification of permitted before marketing for muslim consumer. For every produser going to having include label product in their product it must following process or stage to get permitted instruction consist of pre registration and registration up to publication of permitted certificate graduated by MUI after permanently of permitted status by instruction commision of MUI. Consequences law for producer carry out inclusion of permitted label of product illegal from clause of UU Consumer Protection although UU No. 7 years 1996 about Label and Foods and PP No 69 years 1999 about Label and Foods Advertising there are three categories, producer can be allowed acted crime, civil although administratif. Besides that consequences law for producer that include permitted label of foods roduct, illegal actually really adverse the muslim consumer is like responsibility from producer to consumer, in other wise responsibility of producer like product responsibility it means responsibility product for that product bring along in currency that have made or included loss because flawed at that product.

Abstract

Traffic volume road section Mataram-Lembar dense enough, linking two vital objects, that the Port Lembar and Lombok International Airport, ideally have a good level of service. Research on these roads aims to determine the minimum stopping sight distance based on vehicle speed and sight distance are available as well as safety analysis based on the availability and sight distance needs. The method used is to perform data analysis of primary and secondary data for obtained stopping sight distance (SSD), include: SSD available in the field based on the analysis of the road measurement data, SSD minimum based on the speed in site and SSD based on the design speed. The results showed there are 4 corners that do not meet the elements of safety because of the stop sight distance available in the field is smaller than required at curve 2, curve 3, curve 4 and curve 5. Just curved bends 1 that meets the safety requirements. Sight distance is not appropriate is as follows: a) In the second bend 50-meter-Lembar Mataram direction and 75 meters towards Lembar-Mataram b) In the third bend 100 meters along the direction of Mataram-Lembar and 75 meters towards Lembar-Mataram.; c) In the fourth round the bend towards Mataram 75 meters and 75 meters-Lembar direction Lembar-Mataram.; d) In the fifth bend 125 meters along the direction of Mataram-Lembar and 100 meters towards Lembar-Mataram.
