The purpose of this research to know is there any progress in understanding abaut the dangerous of drug abuse after given information. The research, which is used, is a research using one grup pre test pre test-post test design. Pre test and post test us understanding test about the dunger of drug abuse. Sampling techingue, which is use, is random sampling, for 32 students. Hyphothesis test through trial test with 5% significancy, the result is tcount = 30,115 dan ttable = 2,042 it shows Ha is accepted and Ho is declined. The result of the research are (1) before given information service has high presentage about 67,49% (2) after given information service has in creased with high category and average about 94,21% (3) student understanding about the danger of drug abuse can be increased through information service. That guidance and counseling teacher can use information service to increase the understanding of drug abuse as preventive action.

This research is based on data obtained in five high school districts throughout the country Purbalingga that the number of students who go on to college or work after graduation by 30% -50%. The purpose of this research to determine the effect of peer relationships and socio-economic conditions of the students' career orientation. This research is a survey research data analysis used is simple regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The research instrument in the form of questionnaires. The population is all the high school students throughout the country Purbalingga district by 6629 the number of students and cluster proportional sample using random sampling so that the number of research subjects were 142 students. Hypothesis test uses multiple linear regression analysis, test results obtained coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.790, which means that Ha accepted and Ho rejected. The results showed that peer relationships and socio-economic conditions of the students' career orientation.

The research had been done based on the phenomenon in SMA N 5 Semarang which show the high number of student ho were unsatisfied in the service of interest accorded to the result of interview and observation in obtaining the initial data of the students of XI IPA SMA N 5 Semarang. The aim of the research is to find out the satisfactory level of the student in calssifying their interest on the student of XI IPA SMA N 5 Semarang. The research is included survey research which used the random sampling technique. The collecting data technique used is interview and psychological scale. The validity test used the formula of excel program. The reliability test used the split half formula from Spearman Brown. The result of this research is the satisfactory level of the students was on the satisfied enough criteria with 56,34% percentage. With the indicator of reliability reaches 70,52%, responsiveness 21,15%, assurance 67,04%, and emphaty reaches 66,63%. Because of that the school counselors are hope to do some evaluations in order to improve the servive of interest in school and also the headmaster should give the supporting policy for the optimal counseling service implementation.

The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data about the increased understanding of the basic character of students through the information service. This type of research is experimental research design that is one group pretest-posttest involving a sample of eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 34 Semarang with the number of 32 students selected by using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a test instrument understanding of basic character. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentage and t-test. The results showed that the average student understanding of basic characters that are in the high category, with an average percentage of 69.48%. After being given the information included in the category of service is very high with a percentage of 90.85% resulting in an increase of 21:37%. Further results of t-test showed that the change in understanding of the fundamental character of students before and after the information services was highly significant (t (31) = 30.312, p <.01). Conclusions from this research is understanding the basic character of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 34 Semarang G academic year 2015/2016 can be enhanced through information services.

The Individual counseling services have to be conducted appropriately to ideal stages and procedures. But in fact, the conducting of individual counseling services by counselors is adverse. This research has special purpose to compare the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who graduated from PPK with counselors who had not taken opportunity in PPK. The population of this research is all counselors in Central of Java who act in junior high school, senior high school and vocational school. The sampling method in this research is the method of area sampling. The method of collecting research data is anonymous questionnare with closed form. The methods of data analysis are descriptive statistic and t-test. This research results that the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who graduated from PPK is in high level, whereas the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who had not taken opportunity in PPK is in moderate level. From the t-test, the researcher has find the significant difference between the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who graduated from PPK and the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who had not taken opportunity in PPK. The conclusions are the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who graduated from PPK is in high level, whereas the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who had not taken opportunity in PPK is in moderate level and there is significant difference between the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who graduated from PPK and the performance of individual counseling service by counselors who had not taken opportunity in PPK.

Self-esteem is the most important thing for creating a good personality. Self-esteem is an individual evaluation from the differentiation between self-image and ideal-self. However, low self-esteem is often experienced by several individuals in sosial interaction which happened at SMP Negeri 2 Ungaran. The aim of this research is to know whether the case low self-esteem in social interaction of VIII grade students could be solved through rational emotive counseling by using reframing technique. This research used case handling approach. In addition, the method that used are interview and observation. In analising data, the researcher used comparative analysis, content analysis, and logic analysis. After giving treatment to three students, can be seen that students who had low self-esteem had changed with had rational beliefe, when meeting with his friends no longer beat the view, the intensity of the client alone in a classroom when recess was already reduced, it looks more confident when interact with his friends, and his was not ashamed and afraid when hanging out with friends. The research can be concluded that low self-esteem can be solved through rational emotive counseling by using reframing technique.

This study aims to determine the efforts and success in overcoming learned helplessness behavior in students failing grades through rational emotive counseling techniques homework assignments. Type of study used is action research. The subjects studied are two repetition students who experienced learned helplessness. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis using qualitative analysis.The results of the study showed that after given counseling in the action cycles 1 and 2, showed that the client’s learned helplessness criteria is very low with a decreased percentage. It was concluded that the learned helplessness in repetition students can be solve by using rational emotive counseling with homework assignments technique.

The purpose of this research is to known effort and succesful in contend agresive behaviour of bully by counseling gestalt of empty chair technic. The kinds of this research is action research that have two cycle. Suject of this researchment is two bullies student dan doing agresive behaviour. Method that used in collecting data are interview and observation. Analysis of this researchment data are used analytic and qualitative data. Result of this researchment show changing of agresive behaviour on the bullies student and show decrease of clien agresivity. The conclution of this researchment is agresive behavior of bullies student can prevent used counceling gestalt empty chair technic.

Based a phenomenon in SMP Negeri 19 Semarang that indicates behavioral symptoms of coming late to the school by some students. The main objective of this study to determine the student behavior of late coming to school can be overcome through individual counseling behavioristic approach to behavior shaping techniques. The types of research was single subject design with A-B-A design that measures behavior repeatedly targeted by period (weekly, daily, or hourly). The research subject were three clients. The technique of data collecting was interview and observation. The data was analysed descriptively based on the reaserch focus. The result showed the student’s symptom of coming late to school was appear. In the observations that have been conducted based on frequency aspect of weekly and daily duration that the third student has a behavioral form of late arrival at school after 1 hours of class begin. All of the clients at before, during, and process counseling was declining the behavior of coming late to school based the aspect of frequency and duration so that they eventually comes to school on time. The conclusion of this study is the behavior of coming late to school can be overcome through the implementation of individual counseling Behavioristic approach to the behavior shaping techniques.
