Abstract

RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar is a local hospital located in the center of Malang. The hospital already using information technology infrastructure for improving service to all unit. When problem occurred to IT infrastructure, there's procedure for repairs submission with ITIKOM unit as the person in charge of IT development. Based on interview, process of repairs submission has problem with monitoring the repairs process from ITIKOM technician, and the submitting process is still done by manually using a form sheet. These problems, can be solved by developing a web-based information system for monitoring the repair process and submitting process. The development for this system using Rational Unified Process (RUP), which has 4 phases inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. This research for development system produces requirement analysis, business modelling, design, implementation and testing. There are 2 type of system testing, validation testing that produces 100% for all system features and user acceptance testing result are 85.53% from all system actors, this concluded system has been well developed and fulfill user requirements.

Abstract

PT Akademi Pembicara Indonesia is an engaged company in public speaking training. The company makes a training event, then the event ticket will be sold by the agency owned by the company. The company has a problem about the agent that sells ticket but have a different price according to the price at the time of sale, a report done by agents when they get customers is often get delayed, the distribution of commissions to the agents still has errors, financial reports requires about 3 hours working time. This problem is less efficient and can harm the company. Based on the problems described earlier, a solution can be given to develop a sales transaction information system and agent commission. In the development of information systems the author using the Waterfall software development model. Waterfall is chosen because the requirements are ready and minimum change of requirements.This development method includes needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing, the process runs sequentially. At the needs analysis stage a business process modeling is conducted based on the results of interviews with stakeholders and problem analysis. The results of the needs analysis are visualized in the use case diagram and activity diagram. The results of system design produce sequence diagrams, class diagrams, relational data models, pseudocode algorithms, user interfaces. The implementation of this information system used object oriented programming for web application. The information system testing phase is done with compatibility testing, validation testing and user acceptance testing. The results on sales transaction information system and agent commission, system can run well and can be accepted by the user.

Abstract

PT. POS Indonesia Surabaya Kebonrojo harnesses a plethora of management information systems. According to focus group interviews, there is an untapped need for managing employee leave applications through computerised information systems. Therefore, the focus of this paper aims to solve problems by focusing on analyzing and designing system designs. To answer this question, the Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method was undertaken to analyse and design systems which consists of 5 stages: use case modelling, architecture analyzing, use cases analyzing, data elements identifying, and data modeling. This process involved synthesising archived interviews and documented studies to obtain an overview of business processes, analyse user needs, design use cases, state machine diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, physical data models, and to interface designs. The testing segment was carried out using the Configuration Structure and Traceability Matrix methods. Results using Configuration Structure method revealed that there was high consistency in defining user requirements (100,00%). The testing segment of study using Traceability Matrix method ceased processes when functional requirements of use cases were consistent with the value of 100,00%.

Abstract

Learning outcomes received by high school graduates will influence the mindset of alumni when studying at a university, based on this, an evaluation of ongoing learning is needed. Suluh High School is a private high school in Jakarta which currently has problems in managing alumni data. The BK teacher as the person in charge of the alumni data was unable to track the existence of alumni as a whole, so the process of contacting alumni to attend the Suluh High School activities was ineffective due to lack of alumni information. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an information system for tracer study alumni who can assist BK teachers in overcoming these problems. The system to be developed is a website-based information system developed using the RUP method, with the average percentage of user acceptance testing test results from the transition stage being 91.4%, so it can be concluded that the developed tracer study information system of alumni can be accepted by users. Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pelaporan Sarana dan Prasarana (Simasprana) is an Android application to report complaints regarding infrastructures in Faculty of Computer Science (Filkom) University of Brawijaya (UB). The application can be used for all academic community in Filkom UB. In previous development, it did not include user involvement especially in the user interface development. It is necessary to include the participation of users in the development of the user interface in the hope of getting feedback from users. This study aims to make design recommendations based on users requirements with the objective of making improvements to the user interface design. In addition, this study will also comparing usability scores of the previous design and the design recommendations. In the process of making user interface recommendations, Human Centered Design (HCD) approach is used and to obtain usability scores, usability testing is carried. The tests is conducted on six participants. Participants were asked to run several task scenarios and fill out the Post Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) questionnaire to measure satisfaction levels. Interactive prototypes were made as the design recommendations. The test results on design recommendations show increases in the scores of usability. On the aspect of effectiveness, the result of the success rate increased by 19.1%. On the efficiency aspect, the time-based efficiency (TBE) increased by 0.054 goals/sec and the overall relative efficiency increased by 50.6%. In the aspect of satisfaction, the result increased by 41.2%.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 4 Malang is one of the Institutions that gets a license as an organizer of professional certification for vocational students from National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). In the professional certification proceses there are documents that must be filled in by the assessor kesimpuand students totaling more than 50 (fifty) pages for one student. This causes problems, filling process time, documents storage, and the use of excessive paper. In this research uses the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) without deployment process. For data collection methods using interview and observation methods on physical assessment documents in Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak study. From the results of interviews and observations, the software requirements are obtained for both actors (student and assessor), and then illustrated on several diagram of a unified modeling language before the implementation process using the PHP programming language and using the CodeIgniter framework. For the first testing process using the black-box method with an error guessing technique to get error possibility that will occur in the system. The results obtained are all possible errors can be handled properly indicated by all tests get valid results. For the second test, the user acceptance test method is used to see the acceptance of the system by the user using the questionnaire. The results obtained were all respondents gave "yes" answers to each question given. From these results an acceptance decision process for decision making related to acceptance shows that all functionalities or in terms of the usefulness of the system can be fully accepted by users, both students and assessors.

Abstract

One of the problems faced in developing information systems is the calculation of cost estimates, the developer does not have yet a standard for determining costs in information system development. From 25000 information system projects implemented from 2011 until 2015, showed 27-31% stated that the project was successful according to (on budget , on time, satisfy), 17-22% failed (canceled or rejected), and 49-56% are challenging projects (Declared satisfactory but exceeds the budget or deadline, that is due an error use or not use existing estimation methods or models, not re-checking the input or output using Expert Judgment model, or ignorance of which method or model needs to be used in a particular condition. The way that is often used to determine the estimated cost and effort in an information system development project is by using the Expert Judgment Method due to limited time spent on the project, so that more complicated methods like COCOMO II or Use Case Points cannot be used. Based on this problem, the author created a system that helps developer to calculate the estimated cost of developing an information system project that can make it easier to calculate project cost estimates. System development using the Waterfall method. Testing method that used in this research is Basis Path Testing, Boundary Value Analysis, and User Acceptance Testing. Based on the results of testing using User Acceptance Testing, the acceptance value is 84%, which means the system is accepted by user.

Abstract

SMK 1 Muhammadiyah Malang has a school library that provides a collection of books and various magazines to be used as learning media by students and teachers in schools. At present, libraries still use bookkeeping systems to service book lending and book return services. The library officer records all service activities that have been carried out on a striped folio book, so that the officer spends a lot of time doing book lending and returning books, as well as automatic processing of fines. The library officer also records again for making a book loan transaction report and returning the book. So this research is done by developing a library information system that can overcome the problem of time efficiency when borrowing books, returning books, processing fines and making transaction reports. The research method used in this study is the Extreme Programming (XP) method in developing library information systems to be built and using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling language to facilitate the design of the system to be built. Implementation system will use the C-Sharp programming language (C#). Based on the problem analysis carried out using the interview method, it produces 8 (eight) features and 10 (ten) functional requirements. The white-box testing and black-box testing test results are valid, which means the system can run properly according to the desired needs. The test results of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) indicate that the system is 100% acceptable and is suitable for use by users, namely library officers.

Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Malang is one of the academic institutions that is following the development of information technology in the inventory of infrastructure facilities. In the process of inventorying infrastructure, still applying bookkeeping and assistance from Ms. Excel. This raises a problem, namely the slow information needed to find out the amount of data on facilities and infrastructure in schools. Based on the problems identified, in this study developed a web-based infrastructure infrastructure management information system in the inventory process. This study applies the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) without the deployment process. In analyzing system requirements, this study applies interview methods and observation methods to physical documents on school inventories. From the results of interviews and observations, there were 3 (three) users / actors, namely staff, waka (wakil kepala), and school principals with 17 needs for functionality in the system. From the results of the analysis of needs that have been obtained, then enter the modeling phase applying a unified modeling language. The implementation stages apply the programming language PHP, CodeIgniter framework, and Mysql. In the testing process applying the black-box testing and UAT (user acceptance testing) method. From the black-box testing, the results show that the functionality requirements are 100% valid, while the user acceptance testing (UAT) results are outlined, the application is running well and all functions are running well.

Abstract

Internship become an important instrument in order to be able to produce competent workforce for students. SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Malang, as vocational school education in Malang city has collaborated with several industry parties to be able to assist students in carrying out maximum internship activities. However, in handling the implementation process of the internship there are problems such as forms that are still in the form of printed paper which can cause the data to be missing due to others and so on. So based on the existing problems, this research develops the management information system of internship in the process of implementing internship activities at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. In the research process applying the method of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) iterative models without the process of deployment system. The method of interviewing and observing examples of physical documents is a form of method that used in the requirements system phase that produces admin and students as users. PHP programming language is implemented in the system development process by using the CodeIgnitier framework as a help. In the results of testing the system, a conclusion is drawn on the white-box testing that the algorithm has been tested valid and has 24 independent paths. In the conclusion of black-box testing that the functional requirements of the system are valid. While the results of user acceptance testing reveal that the system can be accepted by users very well with the final result of users acceptence is 91.87%.
