The number of COVID-19 cases every time continues to increase until the current third wave. People living with HIV are a group that needs more attention in dealing with this pandemic. One way to initiate preventive action is to look at the perception of the protected aggregate. A person's level of alertness to an event can be seen from how they see the object to be perceived. Exploring the perception of people living with HIV can provide an overview of how they view and deal with COVID-19. This research use qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The selection of participants used purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used the Colaizzi technique. There were ten themes found in this study, the views of people living with HIV on COVID-19, feelings of people living with HIV in dealing with COVID-19, awareness of differences in immune conditions and being a vulnerable group, belief in ARVs strengthening the body's immune system, views of people living with HIV on the risk of transmitting COVID-19, PLHIV's views on health protocols, activities that strengthen the immune system, social support, adaptation of Puskesmas services during a pandemic, PLHIV's perception of vaccination. Abstract

Men who have sex with sex men (MSM) recognized as key population, which is currently raising significant concern because of an increase number of HIV infection. The iceberg situation is a worrying situation that must be sought for an appropriate approach in order to protect this group from HIV infection. Improvement in HIV testing should be intensified, it is important to generate an effective strategy in order to increase HIV status notification among the group. HIV self-testing (HIVST) will essentially accommodate privacy, confidentiality and personal space for stigmatized key populations. This occasion was carried out by conducting focus group discussions with MSM HIV peer councelors of Akbar Foundation a non-governmental organization in Padang Indonesia by introducing HIV self-testing kit tools and tele counselling in HIVST program implementation. In November, a focus group discussion was held to discuss the possible strategies to be possibly implemented in the program. Participants said that the use of HIVST was not generally available as prevention options for key populations, especially MSM. Most participants agreed that having more free options for HIV testing would increase the rate at which will increase motivation to get to know their HIV status. However, concerns were also expressed about the accuracy of the test and the reliability of the results due to the lack of technical knowledge on how to conduct self-testing by the population. It is important to provide a HIVST program for MSM to increase the number of serostatus check among the group.

Abstract

The increase in Covid-19 cases has opened a new cluster of schoolchildren. Most cases are found in school-aged children, elementary. The state of the pandemic has prevented health workers from carrying out their duties to provide health education about preventing Covid-19 cases in schools. This community service aims to form health cadres in schools who invite school communities to carry out health protocols and live healthy lives to avoid the transmission of Covid-19. Peer learning is a quick way to change behaviour in schools. The community engagement method was to provide training to children in terms of knowledge and skills about Covid-19, its effects, and prevention efforts through washing hands, wearing masks, and keeping a distance. The activity was carried out at SD Citra Almadina and SDN 06 Pasar Ambacang, Padang. The material was given alternately by lecturers and students for two days through lecture methods, demonstrations from resource persons and students, and group exercises to do psychosocial therapy, "finger therapy," to avoid stress from online teaching. The training resulted in 10 health cadres for school children, and certificates were given. Knowledge of school health cadres increased by an average of 12 points. The training and legalization that schools provide to children increase their motivation to remind the school community to always maintain health protocols by washing hands with soap, using face masks, keeping their distance, eating healthy food, and vaccinating.

Abstract

Immunization has decreased worldwide, especially during the covid-19 pandemic. The decline was caused by doubts and refusal to immunize, fear of parents, and limited access to health services. Immunization is one of the basic needs for children to grow and develop and prevent the emergence of new infectious diseases in children. This study is an observational study with a descriptive approach to determine the description of maternal predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing factors to basic immunization in Pariaman City. The population in this study amounted to 253 mothers and a sample of 154 mothers who had children aged 12 months using a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the mother's age was 30 years (51.7%), the mother's education was high (82.5%) and the mother did not work (70.8%). The mother's knowledge is mostly lacking (40.3%), the mother's attitude is not supportive (56.5%) and the mother's trust is less (42.9%). The affordability of health resources is not affordable (52.6%), family support is not supportive (48.1%), health worker support is lacking (5.8%) and support from community leaders is not supportive (43.5%). It is hoped that nurses can provide optimal counseling and family motivation to provide support to mothers in providing complete basic immunizations for children
