Abstract

Penelititian ini bertujuan melihat hubungan antara situasi di dalam kelas pada setiap aspek kenyataan dan pendapat siswa terhadap pembelajaran biologi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan tabel Krejcie-Morgan. Data yang digunakan adalah hasil dari jawaban kuesioner What is Happening in this Class (WIHIC) danTest of Biology Related Attitudes (TOBRA) yang telah diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan Uji T sertaUji korelasi pada interval kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian pada situasi di dalam kelas antara kenyataan dan harapan pada setiap aspek menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan, halini menunjukkan bahwa situasi harapan lebih tinggi dibandingkan situasi kenyataan. Pada hubungan situasi kenyataan di dalam kelas terhadap ketertarikan siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi terdapat korelasi yang signifikan pada setiap aspek, yaitu : aspek dukungan guru (0.350** > 0.194), keterlibatan siswa (0.323** > 0.194), investigasi (0.397** > 0.194), pelaksanaan tugas (0.380** > 0.194), aspek kerjasama (0.264** > 0.194) dana spekekuiti/pemerataan (0.319** > 0.194). Kecuali pada aspek kekompakan siswa, ( 0.009< 0.194).

Abstract

The research about the soil insect diversity in plantation area of Cot Kareung village, Kecamatan Indrapuri Kabupaten Aceh Besar, had been done from 04 May to June 2016. The purpose of this studyis to determinethe diversity ofsoilinsectsaroundthe plantationarea. The method that usedinthis research was descriptiveexploratorymethod, by utilizing the data sourcesin nature. Sample location was determine by usingstation methode, becausethe heterogeneous condition of sample population. The systematic samplingtechniqueby dividingthe location into threestation. Thesampling sitewas made3points. The results ofthis studyshowedthe numbers of the soil insect in station I, II and III are 381, 312 and 299 individual respectively. The data was found there are 5 order, Hymenoptera, Orthoptera, Heminoptera, BlattariaandDermaptera. Order that have the highest number of soil insect is Hymenoptera(957 individual). Groundinsectdiversityindexatstation Iis0.869, station IIis0.659andstation IIIis1.063with an average of2.591. Keywords: Soil insect, classification, diversity index

Abstract

The outbreak of the corona virus (Covid-19) as a pandemic requires learning to be carried out online (online), including in excellent high school in Banda Aceh which is one of the red zones in Aceh Province. This study aims to analyze the constraints of biology teachers at excellent High School Banda Aceh, in implementing online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at SMA Unggul Banda Aceh, with a total sample 19 biology teachers. The type of this research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique is done using a questionnaire in the form of google form. The research data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using the percentage formula. The results of the study showed there is a problem level at 72% (moderate category) experienced by the teacher during the implementation of online learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the difficulties encountered by the prospective teacher of Biology FKIP Universitas Abulyatama during the Teaching Training Program at Personal issues. This research was a descriptive research with quantitative approach. Data collection in this study were obtained by questionnaires in the form of Likert scale. The result showed that lack of creativity was the main difficulties faced by the biology prospective teacher (67%; medium). On the other hand, being far from spouse, children and household related problems were the least encountered difficulties (28%; low) during the Teaching Training Program.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to investigate the relationship between students’ environmental knowledge and their behaviour in maintaining environmental cleanliness at school. This study was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Mesjid Raya Aceh Besar with a total of 220 students from grade 8 and 9. The sample that used in this reseach were 69 students. Students’ knowledge were collected by using questioner, and question about students’ knowledge. The method which used in this research is descriptive design. Data analysis was performed with quantitative techniques, then processed using Product Moment correlation statistic. The result showed that the average value of students’ environmental knowledge at 78 in high category. On the other hand, students’ behaviour in environmental cleanlines at 58 in low category. Based on the result, it concluded that there were no relationship between student’s knowledge toward the management of cleanliness school environmental ( rhitung = 0.094 < rtabel = 0,235).

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a multiple choice type test instrument that conforms to the standard standards for cell material in high school biology subjects. This research was conducted from February to April 2014. The method used was a formative research type development method with a multiple choice test of 100 test items. The research subjects used were 43 students. Tests that were compiled and validated by a team of experts were given to the research subjects, then the data obtained were analyzed using the formula for difficulty level, different tests (different power), the effectiveness of the trickster, validity, and reliability. The results showed that the number of valid test items was 70 test items and had a high category of reliability. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the test items developed have met the good test criteria, this is based on the categories in which all the requirements have been fulfilled.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the differences between female and male students’ perception toward Biology subject in classroom environment. This research was conducted at SMAN 4 Banda Aceh, with a total sample of 103 students. A Krejcie-Morgan table was used as the sampling technique. Students’ perception was collected by using “What is Happening in this Class (WIHIC)” questioner which has been translated into Indonesian. Collected data was analysed by the Independent T-Test. The results showed that the only differences perception betwen male and female students on actual classroom environtment was on teacher support (0,65). However, male and female students perception on the expected situation in classroom environment were differ on most aspect, except on student involvement (-0,17).

Abstract

The teaching and learning process which is usually conducted face-to-face has been turned into an online learning process because the whole world is experiencing the covid 19 pandemic. Online learning is not without challenges, there are so many challenges that are faced during the learning process. The purpose of this research is to create learning media using the Kinemaster application to facilitate online learning. The research starts from the preparation of the proposal in June 2020 until March 2021. The length of time to conduct this research is 3 months. The method used in this research is R D (Research and Development). The learning media testing involves 3 experts (media experts, linguists, concept experts/experts in developing teaching materials). The results show that learning media with the Kinemaster application can already be applied, based on the validation test 81,94%. These results refer to the validity of the media carried out by the experts involved in the research. The result validity category is quite valid, which means, it can be used but needs minor revisions. Revisions are made based on the results of the validator’s input and suggestions both directly, responses and suggestion given in writing on the validation sheet.

Abstract

Difficulties encountered by student teacher during teacher training program were identified in this study. Descriptive method with questionaire as research instrument was used to gather information related to students difficulties. Forty eight respondents from Teaching Faculty of Abulyatama University were involved. The results revealed that lack of self confidence, class management, low level of competency in curriculum, teaching and learning method and also in assessing student work were the most difficulties often perceived by student teacher during teacher training program. Kata kunci        : difficulties, student teacher, teacher training program
