<![CDATA[This research aims to develop an authentic assessment instrument product based on language literacy with a scaffolding model that is oriented towards reading skills. This research method uses research and development methods. The research results show that the preliminary research phase describes the results of curriculum analysis and student analysis. At the product development stage and validation by experts, the percentage of authenticity instrument eligibility consisting of three indicators is 82%. It can be concluded that the instrument is suitable for use in learning activities. The practicality stage given to 20 students in one of the Manyak Payed Public High Schools, Aceh Tamiang District, consisted of four alternative answers, 25% were declared practical. Thus, high school teachers are advised to use the scaffolding model as a solution to improve reading comprehension and language literacy skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Saat ini, semakin banyak penutur bahasa sering membingungkan penggunaan bahasa dalam lirik lagu (kode campuran). Lirik lagu adalah bentuk komunikasi antara penulis lagu dan pendengar yang tentunya mengandung beberapa komponen ucapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan kode campuran dalam lirik lagu Aceh dan memeriksa komponen pidato yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu Aceh berdasarkan konteks SPEAKING dari Hymes. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiolinguistik. Sumber data penelitian adalah lirik lagu PHP (permisi) yang terdapat dalam album Boh Hate-Bergek. Pengumpulan data menggunakan merujuk ke metode dengan teknik melihat atau observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa jenis kode campuran yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu PHP (permisi) adalah jenis kode campuran yang berasal dari bahasa Aceh dan bahasa Indonesia lalu mencampur kode keluar yang bersumber dari bahasa Inggris. Seluruh komponen pidato ditemukan dalam lirik lagu PHP (permisi).]]>

<![CDATA[PKBM Wan Nur prioritizes basic English learning for children. Children are the nation's future partners because with the possession of English skills, future leaders have inherited the procedures for communicating internationally in the era of globalization. The problems faced in the implementation of service activities are the increasing need for English language training for children, especially in PKBM Huda Wan Nur, the need for active coaching and socialization in fostering interest in learning English at PKBM Huda Wan Nur and the need for empowering positive mindsets for teachers about the importance of English for children. From the results of the study of the problems faced, the solutions that can be proposed to solve the existing problems are English language training for children at PKBM Huda Wan Nur and Increasing the empowerment of digital learning media in fulfilling interactive teaching materials for children at PKBM Huda Wan Nur. The implementation method is a field survey, scheduling, preparation, explanation, training, and evaluation. The children really enjoyed actively and seriously the basic English training activities related to nouns in the form of pictures of animals, fruits and flowers with bilingual texts that used teaching materials that could be obtained digitally.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to review the implementation of steps in teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from a post-method point of view. The research is an analytical study using a literature review approach to describe the results and to draw conclusions. The results of the literature analysis show that basically there is no fundamental theoretical difference between the method and post-method. Regarding the implementation of teaching English from the post - method point of view, there is no fundamental difference found on the steps of teaching English in methods that existed before the era of post-method. Therefore, the energy of debate between proponents of method and post-method can be directed to find the best and appropriate steps in teaching English to students.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to analyze the English subject in two vocational schools in Kota Langsa based on English for Specific Purposes (ESP) approach and how it was implemented in the classroom. This study applied a descriptive qualitative method. The two vocational schools involved in the research are Hotel Hospitality Management and Maritime Fishing Vessel Engineering. The data were gained from the teachers and students by conducting observation, interview, Focus Group Discusssion (FGD), and document analysis of syllabus and teaching materials. The data were analyzed by comparing the real condition of teaching-learning process and the ideal condition based on ESP approach. The finding showed that the two schools used General English (GE) frequently rather than ESP on English subject. Despite the common use of GE in these two schools, they had the option to adjust their English subject into ESP standard. One school had the ESP subject called English for Maritime and another school chose Mandarin subject as the option. As a result, the school only had GE for English subject. Thus, the English subject was taught and designed as English for General Purposes rather than English for Specific Purposes.]]>

<![CDATA[U teutot is a typical drink passed down from generation to generation from the time of the Aceh sultanate. U (Coconut) as a basic material for PKM training is one of 17 plant species for Acehnese special food that comes from intensive cultivation. Perior's problems are the increasing need for immune supplements against the COVID-19 pandemic that is effective and has a selling value from ingredients that are easily obtained by PKK mothers in Gampong Bayeun, Birem Bayeun District, East Aceh Regency, especially coconut and spices and the lack of knowledge of PKK mothers in the use and process of entrepreneurship for immune supplements. Justification of Solutions to Partner Problems is training in making jelly from spice-roasted coconut as an immune supplement for PKK mothers in Bayeun Village during the COVID-19 outbreak and increasing the empowerment of mothers in the entrepreneurial process and making natural immune supplements in the form of jelly from spice-roasted coconut during the COVID-19 pandemic. Implementation methods are field survey, schedule determination, preparation, training, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. ]]>

<![CDATA[Translation learning is one of the main focuses in language learning and teaching activities in the English class in the agribusiness study program at the University of Samudra so that consciously or unconsciously students have taken the action of translating between Indonesian and English. This study wants to see the ability of bilingual translation with respect to the word 'di atas' which is translated from Indonesian to English. The interlingual translation of the word 'di atas' results in several products of translating into English such as the preposition 'on', 'above' and 'over'. Starting from the same source language but after being translated into English, the three interlingual translation products have almost the same function and but not the same thing. This research method is a test method with a quantitative descriptive approach given through the Whatspp application because the Covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing until this research is worked on. The research object was 32 students with a time limit given to answer the test is 15 minutes. With the dominance of the student's success in answering the test correctly and the success rate being above 50% or half of the total number of research objects, the student's ability to answer the test correctly to the interlingual translation problem in this study is good. Likewise, from the questionnaire data obtained as many as 59% of students who translate interlingually 'di atas’ into over, it can be concluded that students are good at understanding the function of the prepositions given in the test questions.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to develop a feasibility test and practical application of biology learning media technology, especially in terms of taxonomy introduction via google lens. The experimental method was used to collect identification data regarding intersemiotic translation of ornamental plants. The stage to find out the quality of intersemiotic translation of the research object using a google lens in the form of the general method of photo analysis in the use of google lens using the keys of google lens results evaluation method by Shapovalov et al. (2020). The research object which was taken randomly via google lens will be analyzed for information regarding three to six detected results to examine information about the object based on genus and species. The result is google lens can identify ornamental plants well. Intersemiotic translation results have been obtained in the seven plants as research objects. Five research objects have a score of 3 and two research objects get a score of 2 based on the keys of google lens results evaluation. <![CDATA[Pemakaian bunga telang sebagai suplemen daya tahan tubuh saat ini sedang sangat digemari. Banyak manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari pemanfaatan bunga telang dalam hal kesehatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dengan kemudahan pemerolehan bahan baku dan besarnya dampak pemanfaatan minuman yang berasal dari olahan bunga telang maka ibu-ibu PKK Gampong Sungai Pauh akan diberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan skill dalam berwirausaha secara home indutry yang berdaya guna dan bernilai jual dalam hal memproduksi teh bunga telang sebagai suplemen makanan. Permasalahan prior yaitu: meningkatnya kebutuhan suplemen daya tahan tubuh herbal yang berdaya guna dan memiliki nilai jual dari bahan-bahan yang mudah diperoleh oleh ibu–ibu PKK di Gampong Sungai Pauh, belum ada pembinaan dan sosialisasi pemerintah dalam pembinaan kewirausahaan yang berkaitan dengan teh bunga telang kepada ibu–ibu PKK di Gampong Sungai Pauh, dan minimnya pengetahuan ibu–ibu PKK dalam pemanfaatan dan proses berwirausaha terhadap teh bunga telang sebagai suplemen daya tahan tubuh. Tujuan khusus pada justifikasi solusi atas permasalahan mitra adalah pelatihan pembuatan teh bunga telang sebagai suplemen daya tahan tubuh bagi ibu–ibu PKK Di Gampong Sungai Pauh dan peningkatan pemberdayaan ibu – ibu PKK dalam proses berwirausaha teh bunga telang. Metode pelaksanaan adalah survey lapangan, penentuan jadwal, persiapan, pelatihan, pelaksanaan, monotoring dan evaluasi. Target adalah ibu PKK Gampong Sungai Pauh. Hasil dari pengabdiab adalah pelatihan menjadi salah satu wirausaha yang diterapkan oleh ibu PKK skala home industry.]]>
