Abstract

Abstract:Strengthening spiritual values through the dimensions of tasawwuf learning is one of the efforts to improve changes in students' moral mentality. Sheikh Ali Jum'ah as a charismatic cleric at Al-Azhar University and a former Mufi of Egypt, one of the international scholars who payed attention to the discourse, according to him, instilling modern Sufistic values of Sufism in the young generation can be a supporter of forming a young age who is religious and has good intellect. This article aims to examine and explore the Sufistic concept of Alī Jum'ah to increase individual piety and discuss the relevance of its Sufistic theory to the learning of Islamic Religious Education in Higher Education. Using a literature review approach, his works are collected from various sources and studied interactively through the Islamic studies approach. The primary reference source is his work entitled At-Tharīq Ilā Allah, while the second reference refers to other books. The Sufistic concept of Alī Jum'ah is built on six main principles where the axis is Allah Al-Makshd Al-Kulli. At the practical level, repentance, tafakkur, tadabbur, and consistency in dhikr are the primary tools for ma'rifatullah. Manhaj, the existence of a Murshid and a Salik are the essential pillars in the world of Sufism. Its sufistic relevances in PAI learning which substantially impacts on strengthening the five main components, namely learning objectives, learning materials, learning approaches, lecturers, and students in higher education.Abstrak: Memperkuat nilai-nilai spiritualitas melalui dimensi pembelajaran tasawwuf merupakan salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki perubahan mentalitas akhlak pada siswa. Syeikh Ali Jum’ah sebagai ulama kharismatik Universitas Al-Azhar dan manfat Mufi Mesir salah satu ulama internasional yang menaruh perhatian terhadap diskurus tersebut dimana menurutnya menanamkan nilai-nilai sufistik tasawwuf modern terhadap generasi muda dapat menjadi penyokong membentuk generasi muda yang religius serta memiliki intelektualitas baik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah serta menjelajahi konsep sufistik Alī Jum’ah dalam rangka meningkatkan kesalehan individu serta mengkaji relevansi teori sufistiknya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Perguruan Tinggi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan literature review, karya-karya beliau dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber serta dianalisis secara interaktif melalui pendekatan Islamic studies. Sumber rujukan primer diambil dari karyanya berjudul At-Tharīq Ilā Allah sedangkan rujukan sekunder merujuk kepada kitab-kitab yang lainnya. Konsep Sufistik Alī Jum’ah dibangun atas enam kaidah utama dimana porosnya adalah Allah Al-Makshūd Al-Kulli. Tataran praktisnya, aktivitas taubat, tafakkur, tadabbur, dan konsistensi dalam dzikir menjadi alat utama menuju ma’rifatullah. Manhaj, keberadaan Mursyid dan Seorang Salik merupakan rukun-rukun esensial dalam dunia tasawwuf. Relevansi sufistiknya dalam pembelajaran PAI berdampak kuat terhadap penguatan empat komponen utama yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dosen, serta mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The presence of Islamic education is expected to be an alternative solution to educational problems caused by the materialism education system. This present study aims at investigating education from an Islamic perspective and its role in fostering Islamic personality. This study employed a qualitative approach and literature review method. Based on the results of the discussion, there has been no agreed term on education based on Islamic perspective. However, in this case, the writer is more inclined to ta'dÄb as the term for education in Islam since it, based on its conceptual structure, has included the elements of science (ilm), teaching (ta'lÄ«m), and good care (tarbiyaħ). The purposes of Islamic education are to develop an Islamic personality and to master Islamic safaqah, science and technology, and adequate expertise. In Islam, teachers are regarded as a highly honored person, and students are encouraged to maintain good character and conduct (adab) when they interact with their teachers. In addition, Islamic curriculum and education materials are supposed to be in line with the Islamic Aqeedah (faith). In principle, Islamic education methods have their own characteristics and one of them is the Quranic education method. All media and facilities are permissible as long as it does not conflict with the Islamic Aqeedah (faith). The evaluation in Islamic education consists of measurements and assessments covering the aspects of aqliyah, qolbiyah, and amāliyah. Islamic education plays an important role in fostering Islamic personality since it is inseparable from the idea of Islamic education in order to foster an Islamic personality.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this present study is to describe the Islamic education system at Miftahul Khoir University Student Islamic Boarding School in the process of establishing Islamic personality. This present study employed a descriptive method and a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the study, the Miftahul Khoir University Student Islamic Boarding School was considered as the Salafi Islamic Boarding School group. In fact, it was indicated by the establishment of religious understanding which was adopted from Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya. The purpose of Islamic education at Miftahul Khoir University Student Islamic Boarding School is to raise up leader cadres leaders of people who have Islamic personality and develop the religion of Islam in accordance with their field of expertise. Tujuan pendidikan Islam di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Miftahul Khoir memiliki ciri khas dalam mewujudkan kader pemimpin umat yang memiliki kepribadian Islami dan mengembangkan dinul Islam sesuai dengan kemampuan ilmu yang diperolehnya. Abstract

This present study aims at identifying the role of Islamic boarding schools as Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. This study employed a qualitative approach and literature study method. Based on the results of the study, Islamic boarding schools in fact provided the process of teaching, educating, developing, and spreading the religion of Islam. In relation to the objectives of Islamic boarding schools, it in principle aims to develop Islamic personality, specifically the personality that put more concern on the believing and consciousness of Allah, noble character, piety, usefulness and loyalty to the community, and being a custodian of all humankind (khadim al-ummaħ). The role of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia was not only as educational institutions but also it took a role as a religious institution operated as a basis against any kind of colonialism, as knowledge institutions, research institutions, training institutions, and community development institutions, and cultural bonds. Pembahasan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, pondok pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang memberikan pengajaran, pendidikan, pembinaan dan menyebarkan agama Islam. Tujuan pendidikan pesantren adalah dalam rangka membina kepribadian Islami, yaitu kepribadian yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Allah Subḥānahu Wa Ta’ālâ, berakhlak mulia, bermanfaat dan berkhidmat kepada masyarakat dengan menjadi pelayan umat (khadim al-ummaħ). Peran pondok pesantren di Indonesia bukan hanya sebagai lembaga pendidikan tetapi berperan juga sebagai lembaga keagamaan yang menjadi basis perlawanan terhadap segala bentuk penjajahan, lembaga keilmuan, lembaga penelitian, lembaga pelatihan, dan lembaga pengembangan masyarakat sekaligus menjadi simpul budaya.Kata Kunci: Pondok Pesantren, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam, Indonesia

Abstract

This research is motivated by the assumption that lectures of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Public Universities (PTU), including Indonesia University of Education (UPI), in various forms, should regulate moderation in religion. Moderation in religion is needed to create a climate of tolerance among students to prevent radicalism and extremism in religion, which is allegedly occurring in public universities. One form of evaluation of PAI lectures at UPI aims to explore the opinions of PAI lecturers at UPI regarding learning in religious lectures they experience. With such a goal, researchers used a quantitative approach with a descriptive-survey method. With the quota sampling technique and considering the sample based on the sample expert's assessment based on the number of lecturers who returned the research questionnaire as many as 16 people with a distribution of 9 senior lecturers and 7 juniors. Because data collection was carried out at one time, the researchers designed a cross-sectional survey design. Collecting data on students 'and lecturers' perceptions regarding tolerance learning in Islamic Education learning at PTU was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire. Meanwhile, the data analysis used descriptive statistics, which are presented in tables and charts. Based on the analysis results, it is possible to judge that lecturers on average (88.19%) have a good perception of learning in Islamic Education lectures at UPI. Thus, there is a lecturer's perception of tolerance learning in Islamic Education lectures at UPI

Abstract

This study aims to track the phenomenon of da'i (Muslim Preachers) idols among the millennial generation and its impact on the dynamics of accepting contemporary fatwas and the constellation of leader elections in Indonesia. The da'wah transformation from traditional methods to digital media is increasingly adding to the dynamics of changing the youth's perspective in responding to life's problems, such as religious fatwas and political constellations. This study uses mixed methods research. The data collection technique used google Forms by taking 95 respondents, and semi-structured interviews with five informants using random sampling with the criteria enjoy listening to digital da'wah. Data analysis applies the theory of Miles and Huberman with the following steps: data collection, data display, data reduction, and conclusion. The research results show several essential points, including; 1) There is an urgency in the need for da'wah studies in filling the pressure of problems faced by the millennial generation, 2) Communication style and material substance are more important than the intellectuality of a preacher, 3) In the context of certain fatwas, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) is preferred to be used as a reference from their da'i idol, 4) In the context of choosing a leader, they prefer individual ijtihad to a public figure or institutional ijtihad, 5) Digital da'wah contributes significantly to character strengthening, 6) Da'wah themes vary according to the needs of listeners, and 7) characteristics of da'i idol including polite, wise, humble, broad-minded, moderate, good communication, akhlakul karimah

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguatan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) melalui pembelajaran kepesantrenan dan mengungkap implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran PAI di sekolah umum. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui cara : 1) Observasi, 2). Wawancara, 3) Studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan penguatan PAI melalui pembelajaran kepesantrenan, proses penguatan PAI melalui pembelajaran kepesantrenan, dan faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Adapun implikasi dari penguatan PAI melalui pembelajaran kepesantrenan terhadap pembelajaran PAI di sekolah umum, meliputi implikasi pedagogis teoritis yang mencangkup tujuan, mata pelajaran, sumber, materi, metode, evaluasi, dan pembiasaan. Sedangkan implikasi pedagogis praktis mencankup guru sebagai pendidik dan peserta didik.Kata Kunci: Penguatan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), Pembelajaran, Kepesantrenan, PAI di Sekolah Abstract. This study aims to determine the strengthening of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) through Islamic boarding school learning and reveal its implications for Islamic Religious Education learning in public schools. This research is qualitative by using descriptive analytical method. The data in this study were obtained by: 1) observation, 2). Interview, 3) Document study. The results of this study include planning for strengthening IRE through Islamic boarding school learning, the process of strengthening IRE through Islamic boarding school learning, and the supporting and inhibiting factors. As for the implications of strengthening IRE through Islamic boarding school learning of IRE learning in public schools, it includes theoretical pedagogical implications that include objectives, subjects, sources, materials, methods, evaluation, and habituation. Abstract

Abstract: Spiritual intelligence occupies an important position to build and construct a person to be better and useful in dealing with and interpreting issues of meaning and value. This study aims to examine how PAI teachers' efforts in improving students' spiritual intelligence through PAI learning. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was chosen to gain an in-depth understanding of the problem and describe it as it is.  The findings in this study include efforts to understand the condition of students' spiritual intelligence level by means of observation, communication, and evaluation. The indicators can be seen from the practice of diversity, daily behavior, and evaluation of students. In designing PAI learning, it is adjusted to the learning outcomes and learning objectives. The PAI learning process is carried out by integrating spiritual principles and incorporating PAI aspects. The methods used must also support efforts to increase students' spiritual intelligence. After knowing the condition of the level of students, efforts are made to improve adjusted to the classification of high or low spiritual intelligence conditions. The last stage is the measurement process to determine the impact that occurs after making efforts to improve the spiritual intelligence of students.Keywords: spiritual intelligence, teacher efforts, PAI learning  Abstrak: Kecerdasan spiritual menduduki posisi penting untuk membangun dan mengontruksi seseorang menjadi lebih baik dan berguna dalam menghadapi dan memaknai persoalan makna dan nilai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana upaya guru PAI dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual peserta didik melalui pembelajaran PAI. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dipilih untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam mengenai masalah tersebut dan menggambarkan sebagaimana adanya.  Temuan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya upaya untuk memahami kondisi tingkat kecerdasan spiritual peserta didik dengan cara observasi, komunikasi, dan evaluasi. Adapun indikatornya dapat dilihat dari kegiatan amaliah keagaman, perilaku keseharian, dan evaluasi peserta didik. Dalam merancang pembelajaran PAI disesuaikan dengan capaian pembelajaran dan tujuan pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran PAI dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip spritual dan memasukkan aspek-aspek PAI. Metode yang digunakan juga harus mendukung upaya peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual peserta didk. Setelah mengetahui kondisi tingkat peserta didik maka dilakukannya upaya untuk meningkatkan disesuaikan dengan klasifikasi kondisi kecerdasan spiritual yang tinggi atau rendah. Tahapan yang terakhir adanya proses pengukuran untuk mengetahui dampak yang terjadi setelah melakukan upaya dalam peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual peserta didik. Kata Kunci: kecerdasan spiritual, upaya guru, pembelajaran PAI
