Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation process of religious moderation carried out by the High School Laboratory of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia through its learning process. As an open educational institution, this school accepts students from various backgrounds, including the term of their religion. Encountering various ideologies in one learning platform is predicted to trigger tensions between religious adherents. But in fact, this school laboratory can minimize those potential tensions through various approaches. Based on an ethnographic approach, wherein the data gathered through intensive observation and in-depth interviews with several key informants, the results of this study reveal that the efforts made by school principals and teachers through strengthening the understanding of religious moderation concept, which is implemented into learning curricula and teaching models inside and outside of the school classroom, it turns out to be able to make students moderate and tolerant.

Abstract

This study explores the Islamic Education learning process dynamics during the Covid-19 Pandemic in the character education activities. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the learning model from face-to-face to online learning. Developing effective and efficient online learning procedures and forms is a significant challenge faced by teachers. This research study incorporates a qualitative approach where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The object of the research were three government schools, namely SMPN 3 Lembang, SMKN 10 Bandung, and SMAN 1 Sungailiat Bangka Belitung. The research question is directed to explore the dynamics and problems that arise and the role of teachers and schools in mitigating these problems. The study results showed that most online learning uses popular applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Whatsapp Group, and Quizziz. To make online learning effective, among the efforts made by the teacher were explaining the technical activities to be carried out. Constraints that often occurred are limited internet quotas, network constraints, to inadequate computer devices. Amid the challenging situation, learning to shape students' character was still undertaken by internalizing religious values manifested in various forms of simple online religious activities.

Abstract

Intervensi pemerintah terhadap pasar dipandang suatu kebutuhan, tujuannya adalah dalam rangka melindungi konsumen dari unsur kerugian atau kemadharatan. Namun demikian, dalam literature hadis, sebagian narasi mengindikasikan adanya larangan intervensi pemimpin dalam mengatur mekanisme penetapan harga pasar. Ditinjau dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual, perkembangan tradisi, kultur, budaya, serta lahirnya kompleksitas problematika baru justru mendorong pemerintah dan para sarjana muslim untuk mereinterpretasi pemahaman baru terkait hadis tas’ir sehingga berimplikasi dalam memberikan solusi alternatif terhadap kebijakan-kebijakan ekonomi yang mapan dan produktif. Tujuan studi literature ini dalam rangka melacak hadis-hadis tas’ir serta bagaimana bangunan konstruksi pemahaman para ulama dalam menafsirkan makna hadis tas’ir tersebut. Koleksi hadis tas’ir dikumpulkan dari beragam kitab-kitab turats hadis, lalu dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik. Temuan penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa tas’īr diperbolehkan oleh para ulama dengan beberapa dhowābith. Hal ini menunjukkan Kontekstualisasi pemahaman hadis sangat penting agar Islam tidak kaku terhadap perkembangan zaman. Islam menjadi responsif terhadap tantangan dan permasalahan yang muncul. Sehingga Islam menjadi shalihun li kulli makan wa zaman.[The Relevance of The Tas'ir Hadith (Price Setting) to The Economic System in Indonesia. Government intervention in market policies is seen as a necessity, the aim is to protect consumers from elements of loss or harm. However, in the hadith literature, some narratives indicate that there is a prohibition on the intervention of the leader in regulating the market pricing mechanism. Judging by using a contextual approach, the development of traditions, culture, culture, and the birth of new problematic complexities actually encourage the government and Muslim scholars to reinterpret new understandings related to the tas'ir hadith so that it has implications for developing alternative solutions to established and productive economic policies. The purpose of this literature study is to trace the traditions of tas'ir and how to construct the understanding of the scholars in interpreting the meaning of the hadith of tas'ir. The collection of tas'ir hadiths was collected from various turats hadith books, then analyzed using descriptive analytic methods. The findings of this study show that tas'īr is allowed by scholars with several dhowābith. This shows the contextualization of the understanding of hadith is very important so that Islam is not rigid to the times. Islam becomes responsive to the challenges and problems that arise. So that Islam becomes shālihun li kulli makān wa zamān.]

Abstract

Reform in QS. Al-Kahf: Examining the Concept of Al-Ishlāh Wa At-Taghyīr Sholāh Shulthān and Its Relevance to the Phenomenon of Radicalism in IndonesiaThis study aims to analyze the concept of Al-Ishlah wa At-Taghyir which was initiated by Sholah As-Shultan an international scholar and how its relevance to the phenomenon of radicalism in Indonesia. Studies of radicalism, terrorism and extremism have attracted the interest of scientists after the rampant acts of terror that occurred in Indonesia in the last two decades, such as the 2002 Bali bombings, and others. Reforms and improvements to deviations are fundamental things in human life, even the discourse is very much considered by Al-Quran Al-Karim. In QS Al-Kahf, there are several manhajs that are full of reform models to achieve community civilization to become more religious. The research was conducted through a qualitative approach. Through a literature study of Sholah Sulthan's primary work entitled Sūrah Al-Kahfi Manhajiyyāt Fī Al-Islāh Wa At-Tagyīr Dirāsāt Ta'shīliyyah Tathbīqiyyah, the secondary works were taken from other works. The results of the study show several conclusions including: 1) Reform and change are very much considered in the Qur'an, 2) in the QS. Al-Kahf forms of reform reform methods include several forms such as Manhajiyyatu At-Tadarruj min Al-Istid'āf ilā Al-Hiwār wa Minhā ilā At-Tamkīn, Manhajiyyatu Ba'tsu al-Amal Mahma Kāna al-Alam, and 3) Concepts of Al -Ishlah wa At-Taghyir has relevance to the phenomenon of radicalism in Indonesia, among its efforts is to trace the causal factors, then design preventive measures, collaborative efforts from various parties, and be patient with the process

Abstract

This research attempted to find out the view of Islamic law in modern fiqh studies on plastic surgery and Appearance oriented views (Lookism) in South Korea. The use of juridical empirical method, or also known as sociological research, aimed to provide an overview of the implementation of plastic surgery in society based on applicable law by analyzing problems in society through secondary data.According to the data from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) in 2019, South Korea was in fifth position as a country that is estimated to carry out the most plastic surgery procedures in the world, 2,571 times (5.1%). This shows that this country has an Appearance-oriented view (Lookism) which is part of the Lookism culture. According to Bio Med Central 2017 data, there was a high ratio of recurrent discrimination rates (OR: 3.70; 95% CI: 2.19-6.27) and ‘incident’ (OR: 3.10; 95% CI: 2.99-4.83) from 2005 to 2013 against individuals in the age group of 15-24 years.

Abstract

ملخ ص  يواجه عالم التعليم اليوم مجموعة متنوعة من المشكلات الجديدة التي تتطور بشكل جديد، وهذا بالطبع يمثل تحديًللعلماء المتخصصة  ف  التعليم والنشطاء التربويين للعثور على أنماط تعليم شخصية متميزة. تهدف  هذه  بحث الرسالة العلمي ة  إلى استكشاف تنفيذ  تعليم الشخصية  كمحاولة لمنع الإخلال بأخلاق الطلاب. إن تنمية القيم الروحية التي تتماشى مع تعاليم الإسلام أمر أساسي  ووسيل ة ف بناء أخلاق وحضارة الأم ة  الإسلامي ة. باستخدام الأساليب  المتنوعة ،  تركزت الدراسة ف مدرسة العناية الإسلامية من خلال استكشاف  البيانات اللازمة من خلال تقنيات المقابلة والملاحظة والتحليل التفاعلي. تظهر الدراسة أن نجاح الأنشطة  التربوية ف بناء الأخلاق يجب أن يتكامل مع عدة مكونات أساس ية وهي المناهج  التعليمي ة  وطرق  التدريس  وتقوي ة برامج نشاط التعلم ف  تقوي ة الشخصية الإسلاميةAbstrak Dunia pengajaran saat ini menghadapi berbagai problem baru yang terus berkembang. Tentu saja, ini menjadi tantangan bagi para ilmuan dalam pengajaran dan aktivitas pendidikan untuk dapat menemukan tipe pengajaran kepribadian yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap penerapan pengajaran kepribadian sebagai usaha untuk memerangi kerusakan akhlak pada siswa. Pengembangan nilainilai rohani yang sejalan dengan ajaran Islam adalah hal yang mendasar sebagai instrumen dalam membangun akhlak dan peradaban umat Islam. Dengan berbagai metode, penelitian di Madrasah al-Inayah al-Islamiyah dilakukan dengan menyingkap data-data primer melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan analisis interaktif. Penelitian ini menemukan, bahwa keberhasilan aktivitas pendidikan dalam membangun akhlak, harus terintegrasi dengan beberapa komponen pokok, yaitu kurikulum, metode pengajaran, penguatan program kegiatan pembelajaran, demi memperkuat kepribadian Islam siswa.

Abstract

Abstract:Strengthening spiritual values through the dimensions of tasawwuf learning is one of the efforts to improve changes in students' moral mentality. Sheikh Ali Jum'ah as a charismatic cleric at Al-Azhar University and a former Mufi of Egypt, one of the international scholars who payed attention to the discourse, according to him, instilling modern Sufistic values of Sufism in the young generation can be a supporter of forming a young age who is religious and has good intellect. This article aims to examine and explore the Sufistic concept of Alī Jum'ah to increase individual piety and discuss the relevance of its Sufistic theory to the learning of Islamic Religious Education in Higher Education. Using a literature review approach, his works are collected from various sources and studied interactively through the Islamic studies approach. The primary reference source is his work entitled At-Tharīq Ilā Allah, while the second reference refers to other books. The Sufistic concept of Alī Jum'ah is built on six main principles where the axis is Allah Al-Makshd Al-Kulli. At the practical level, repentance, tafakkur, tadabbur, and consistency in dhikr are the primary tools for ma'rifatullah. Manhaj, the existence of a Murshid and a Salik are the essential pillars in the world of Sufism. Its sufistic relevances in PAI learning which substantially impacts on strengthening the five main components, namely learning objectives, learning materials, learning approaches, lecturers, and students in higher education.Abstrak: Memperkuat nilai-nilai spiritualitas melalui dimensi pembelajaran tasawwuf merupakan salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki perubahan mentalitas akhlak pada siswa. Syeikh Ali Jum’ah sebagai ulama kharismatik Universitas Al-Azhar dan manfat Mufi Mesir salah satu ulama internasional yang menaruh perhatian terhadap diskurus tersebut dimana menurutnya menanamkan nilai-nilai sufistik tasawwuf modern terhadap generasi muda dapat menjadi penyokong membentuk generasi muda yang religius serta memiliki intelektualitas baik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah serta menjelajahi konsep sufistik Alī Jum’ah dalam rangka meningkatkan kesalehan individu serta mengkaji relevansi teori sufistiknya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Perguruan Tinggi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan literature review, karya-karya beliau dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber serta dianalisis secara interaktif melalui pendekatan Islamic studies. Sumber rujukan primer diambil dari karyanya berjudul At-Tharīq Ilā Allah sedangkan rujukan sekunder merujuk kepada kitab-kitab yang lainnya. Konsep Sufistik Alī Jum’ah dibangun atas enam kaidah utama dimana porosnya adalah Allah Al-Makshūd Al-Kulli. Tataran praktisnya, aktivitas taubat, tafakkur, tadabbur, dan konsistensi dalam dzikir menjadi alat utama menuju ma’rifatullah. Manhaj, keberadaan Mursyid dan Seorang Salik merupakan rukun-rukun esensial dalam dunia tasawwuf. Relevansi sufistiknya dalam pembelajaran PAI berdampak kuat terhadap penguatan empat komponen utama yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dosen, serta mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the thoughts of Sayyid Muhammad bin Alawi Al-Maliki regarding extremist behavior where this action is allegedly the raw material for the ideology of radicalism which is certainly contradictory to the values ​​of Islamic teachings. The phenomenon of radical, anarchic, brutal acts, and even terrorism which has increased recently has caused unrest and anxiety not only for the government, but this issue has also raised concerns for religious leaders in various parts of the world. Senior international scholar Sayyid Muhammad bin Alawi Al-Maliki is one of the scholars who pays attention to the discourse of radicalism. Al-Maliki who is seen as one of the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad SAW has a moderate view in throwing his views on the issue. Al-Ghuluwwu Wa Atsaruhu fi Al-Irhab wa Ifsad Al-Mujtama is his phenomenal work criticizing the ideology of extremism as fuel for acts of terrorism. The concept of "takfir" according to Sayyid Muhammad bin Alawi is one of the root causes of the increase in acts of terror that occur everywhere.

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan dewasa ini menghadapi beragam problematika baru yang semakin berkembang, hal ini tentunya menjadi tantangan bagi para pakar pendidikan maupun pegiat pendidikan untuk menemukan pola pendidikan karakter yang unggul. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali implementasi pendidikan karakter sebagai satu upaya pencegahan terhadap disrupsi moralitas para pelajar. Penanaman nilai-nilai spiritualitas yang selaras dengan ajaran agama Islam sangat fundamental dalam membangun akhlak dan peradaban suatu bangsa. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, studi difokuskan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Inayah dengan menggali data-data yang diperlukan melalui Teknik wawancara, obsertasi, dan analisis interaktif. kajian menunjukan bahwa keberhasilan kegiatan pendidikan dalam membangun akhlak harus terintegrasi dari beberapa komponen esensial yaitu kurikulum, metode penyampaian, serta penguatan program aktivitas pembelajaran dalam penguatan karakter islami.
