Abstract

Saat ini usaha pertanian di Indonesia menghadapi permasalahan yang cukup kompleks, salah satunya ialah kurangnya regenerasi petani. Jumlah petani usia muda terus menurun. Dalam jangka panjang, ketahanan pangan nasional akan semakin rentan jika produksi pangan lebih banyak dilakukan oleh petani berusia lanjut. Masalah penuaan petani ini patut menjadi perhatian semua pihak. Jika kegiatan produksi pangan hanya dilakukan oleh generasi tua, maka perlahan tapi pasti, jumlah petani akan berkurang dari tahun ke tahun. Akibatnya produksi padi juga menurun dan terjadi ketidak-seimbangan antara produksi dengan permintaan. Permintaan pangan terus naik seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah penduduk, kemajuan ekonomi dan industri pengolahan makanan. Oleh karena itu, generasi muda perlu didorong untuk terjun di sektor pertanian dalam rangka meningkatkan produksi pertanian sehingga ketahanan pangan nasional dapat diwujudkan. Tempat pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Sekolah Menengah Atas Islam Terpadu (SMAIT) Ulul Albab Tarakan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang kewirausahaan bidang pertanian dan peluangnya mulai dari hulu sampai hilir dan Meningkatkan soft skill karakter kewirausahaan

Abstract

ABSTRACTInternalization and development of the Islamic religious education curriculum in Islamic-based institutions such as Islamic boarding schools are required to have a solid foundation. The fundamental value of the development of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum is an important part of maintaining Islamic education buildings, especially in the development of inclusive pesantren. For this reason, the developer of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum needs to lay the foundation for the development of subjects to be used in Islamic boarding schools. Descriptive analysis is used to analyze in this research on the development of the Islamic religious education curriculum. Based on the results of the analysis, there are seven foundations that can be used in the development of the Islamic religious education curriculum in Islamic education institutions such as Islamic boarding schools, namely: theological foundation (religion), philosophical foundation, ideological foundation, psychological foundation, sociological foundation, science and technology foundation, and organizational foundation. By internalizing and developing these values, Islamic education institutions based on pesantren can be well

Abstract

ABSTRACTMangrove ecosystems have an important role in sustainable development both ecologically, economically andsocially. Today, mangrove forests as ecotourism are much in demand by local and foreign communities as a naturetourism trip with the aim of enjoying and studying the natural ecosystems and socio-cultural local communities.This study aims to find out and formulate strategies to increase the role of the community in preserving mangroveand bekantan ecotourism in Karang Rejo village, West Tarakan. The method used is descriptive qualitative datacollection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is theSWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threats). The results of the study found strategies toincrease the role of the community in preserving local wisdom of mangrove ecotourism that can be used are: (1)Revitalizing infrastructure facilities of mangrove and bekantan ecotourism to be more productive and attractive;(2) Providing soft skills training to the community regarding the use of mangrove forests; (3) Promoting mangroveand bekantan ecotourism through social and elektronic media; (4) Cooperating with all stakeholders in supportingthe preservation of mangrove forests, and; (5) Developing local handicraft products industry with make somesouvenir, food, and medicines from mangrove raw materials.Keyword: Strategy, Community Role, Ecotourism, Mangroves and BekantanABSTRAKEkosistem mangrove mempunyai peranan penting dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan baik secara ekologis,ekonomis, maupun sosial. Hutan mangrove sebagai ekowisata dewasa ini banyak diminati oleh masyarakat lokalmaupun mancanegara sebagai sebuah perjalanan wisata alam dengan tujuan menikmati dan mempelajariekosistem alam dan sosial budaya masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan merumuskanstrategi peningkatan peran masyarakat dalam melestarikan ekowisata mangrove dan bekantan di kelurahan KarangRejo Tarakan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupaobservasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT(Strenght,Weakness, Opportunity, dan Threats). Hasil penelitian ditemukan strategi peningkatan peranmasyarakat dalam melestarikan kearifan lokal ekowisata mangrove yang dapat dilakukan adalah: (1) RevitalisasiSarana Prasarana (Sanpras) ekowisata mangrove dan bekantan agar lebih produktif dan menarik; (2) Melakukanpelatihan soft skill kepada masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan hutan mangrove; (3) Melakukan promosi ekowisatamangrove dan bekantan melalui media cetak maupun media elektronik; (4) Melakukan kerjasama dengan seluruhstakeholder dalam mendukung pelestarian hutan mangrove, dan; (5) Mengembangkan industri produk kerajinanlokal masyarakat seperti sovenir, makanan, dan obat-obatan dari bahan baku mangrove.Kata kunci: Strategi, Peran Masyarakat, Ekowisata, Mangrove dan Bekantan

Abstract

Blended learning is a demanding topic nowadays where its existence is possibly enhance lecturers’ competencies as well as giving students new experiences from the combination of different platforms of learning i.e. face to face interaction and online class. Since blended learning seems to be relevant topic at the present time, therefore the aim of the study is to explore the implementation of blended learning in Islamic universities in six different cities in Indonesia. Direct observation was conducted in order to map the strategy used by each Islamic university in implementing blended learning method. Other than that, Focus Group Discussion was also held to all Islamic universities in order to dig deeper regarding the policy from the management of the study program of Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) as well as confirming to what researchers found on the direct observation to the lecturers related to blended learning employment. Additionally, to support the result, semi-structured interview was conducted to representative of students from each Islamic university in order to highlight their perspectives in the realization of blended learning. As a result, the researchers found that the proportion of having between offline and online learning methods are varied, whether 70:30, 60:40, or 50:50. Additionally, there is no slight difference in terms of conducted activities during the offline session, whereas the use of online platforms with varied e-learning media are found very interestingly. Lastly, interview conducted to PAI students indicate positive attitude towards the implementation of blended learning where it is obviously provide future insight for further researchers. The novelty and pedagogical implications are also highlited in this article.

Abstract

This study illustrates the dynamics of the development of Islamic education in Southeast Asia which includes several states such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, and Southern Thailand which have different and unique features of Islamic education as a characteristic of each country. This research also not only explains the differences in the style of Islamic education but analyzes the various dynamics of development that occur behind the formation of a pattern of Islamic education as the grand design of Islamic education in Southeast Asia. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results found a variety of features or models that became the grand design of Islamic education in each country, namely: (1) Indonesia has a grand design of Islamic education with patterns (2-6-3-3-4); RA 2 years, MI 6 years, MTs 3 years and MA 3 years, and PT 4 years; (2) Malaysia has a grand design with patterns: (4 / 6-7 / 12-3-2-1 / 2); PPD 4-6 years, PD 7-12 years, PMP 3 years, PMA 3 years, PP-PMA 1-2 years, PT 3-4 years; (3) Brunei Darussalam has a grand design with patterns: (A 7-3-2-2); 7-year elementary school, 3-year middle school, 2-year high school, 2-year pre-university; and (4) Southern Thailand (Patani) has a grand design with patterns: 6- (3-3); MI 6 years, MM 3 years, and MTs 3 years.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the concept of strategic management in overcoming radicalism through deradicalization based on Islamic education. Direct observations were made to map the strategic management used by each Islamic university in the deradicalization process. In addition, Focus Group Discussions were also held during the data collection process in order to dig deeper into the policies of the managers and to confirm what researchers found on direct observation of lecturers related to the implementation of deradicalization. In addition, to support these results, semi-structured interviews were conducted with student representatives from each Islamic university to highlight their perspectives on realizing deradicalization through Islamic education. The results showed that, (1). Deradicalization in Islamic universities can be done by formulating an inclusive-multicultural Islamic education curriculum; (2) training educators (teachers) with an inclusive-multicultural paradigm who are full of creativity in the management of unique and interesting learning with different emphases and high tolerance, multicultural and humanistic values and become ambassadors of anti-radicalism education in the social field to lead the media; (3) evaluate the deradicalization of inclusive multicultural Islamic education directed at the right goals.

Abstract

Kalimantan Utara merupakan salah satu provinsi yang berbatasan langsung dengan Negara Malaysia perlu didukung untuk dapat berkembang sehingga masyarakatnya tidak tergantung dengan produk-produk pertanian dari daerah Negara lain. Salah satu hal yang bisa dilakukan guna mendukung hal tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan program pertanian terpadu. Desa batu kajang merupakan salah satu desa terluar di wilayah Kalimantan Utara dan sebagian besar masyarakatnya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani tanaman hortikultura, permasalahan yang ada di desa Batu Kajang yaitu masyarakatnya belum banyak yang memiliki usaha sampingan lain untuk menunjang ekonomi keluarga sehingga masyarakat disana hanya bergantung pada pendapatan hasil panen yang dijual kepasar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Batu Kajang Kabupaten Malinau Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Mekanisme kegiatan dibagi kedalam beberapa tahapan yaitu survei, sosialisasi, pelatihan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan pelatihan merupakan kegiatan puncak dari PKM yaitu bimbingan teknis kepada masyarakat mengenai pembuatan instalasi hidroponik dan pembuatan kolam terpal untuk ikan lele. Tahapan pelatihan terdiri dari beberapa tahapan diantaranya pembuatan instalasi hidroponik, Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berjalan dengan baik ditunjukkan dengan antuasisme masyarakat desa batu kajang yang sangat besar dalam mengikuti pelatihan tersebut. Budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik dan ternak lele merupakan salah satu solusi terbaik sebagai usaha sampingan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi keluarga.

Abstract

Sektor Pertanian memiliki beragam kekayaan hayati berupa tanaman yang dapat dimanfaatkan  untuk  menjaga  imun  dan  pencegahan  covid-19.  Beberapa  tanaman yang mudah didapat dan tersedia di beberapa pekarangan rumah memiliki khasiat yang sangat baik untuk diramu menjadi minuman maupun produk antiseptik untuk melindungi tubuh dari virus maupun kuman..Tujuan dari pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) adalah memberikan pengetahuan serta keterampilan dalam pembuatan handsanitaser berbahan alam yaitu dari tanaman lidah buaya dan pembuatan acar bawang putih sebagai suplemen peningkat imun tubuh. Program dilaksanakan  di  Kelurahan  Juata  Kerikil  dengan  sasaran  anggota  Kelompok Wanita Tani  “Anggrek”.  Metode yang  digunakan  adalah  melalui  penyuluhan, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi.. Kegiatan penyuluhan tentang pemanfaatan obat keluarga (TOGA) sebagai alternative pencegahan covid 19 di kelompok tani “Anggrek yakni : tahap pertama, melalui sosialisasi/edukasi peserta dapat mengenali pemanfaatan berbagai macam TOGA untuk imunitas dan handsanitizer. Tahap kedua adalah pelatihan pembuatan Handsanitizer dari bahan dasar lidah buaya dan suplemen penambah imunitas dari bawang putih. Tahapan terakhir ialah melakukan evaluasi  dengan menggunakan kuisioner dengan hasil 50% peserta puas terhadap kegiatan pelatihan dan 41,67% merasa sangat puas, sisanya menyatakan cukup puas, itu artinya mayoritas masyarakat puas dengan kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang dilakukan.
