Abstract

Consumer’s buying decision and learning are two variables that are not separate. As a learner, consumer makes knowledge construction to reach meaningful learning, i.e. consumer solves the problem and makes buying decision correctly. Consumer varies in making knowledge construction. The variation is based on consumer’s learning style. This paper is reviewing the dimensions of consumer’s learning style based on the available learning style models. The review is intended to provide theoretical foundation to conduct research in the future. Keywords: consumer’s learning style, dimensions.

Abstract

Abstract: Entrepreneurial Intention can be influenced by several factors, one of which is Need for Achievement, Innovativeness and Entrepreneurial Attitude. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of Need for Achievement, Innovativeness on Entrepreneurial Intention through Entrepreneurial Attitude. This research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Economics, majoring in Management, with a total sample of 227 students. This study uses the path analysis method. the results of this research, it shows that there is an influence of Need Need for Achievement, Innovativeness on Entrepreneurial Intention through Entrepreneurial Attitude.Abstrak: Minat berwirausaha dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya faktor Need for Achievement, Innovativeness dan Entrepreneurial Attitude. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Need for Achievement, Innovativeness terhadap Entrepreneurial Intention yang dimediasi Entrepreneurial Attitude. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa fakultas Ekonomi jurusan Manajemen yang memiliki jumlah sampel 227 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Need Need for Achievement, Innovativeness terhadap Entrepreneurial Intention yang dimediasi Entrepreneurial Attitude.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the pattern of entrepreneurship education in Chinese ethnic families of SMK students at Negeri 1 Pasuruan. The research approach was a descriptive qualitative case study. The results of the study showed that Chinese ethnic students' families taught their children entrepreneurship from childhood by getting used to participating in business practices that had been done, family education was able to shape students' perspectives to be more open and broad-minded, key principles taught was the unique values that they had been held and believed for generations. The element of the entrepreneurial spirit that was formed includes self-confidence, willingness, and interest in entrepreneurship, and locus of control.

Abstract

In this study, we examined the effect of an entrepreneurship program based on experiential learning on attitudes and intentions. We used a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected by questionnaire from a sample of 200 students attending in an entrepreneurship program and another sample of 200 students as a control group. Our results indicate that the entrepreneurship program significantly improved students’ innovativeness, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the students in an entrepreneurship program have a higher (average) innovativeness, entrepreneurial selfefficacy, and entrepreneurial intention, at the end of the entrepreneurship program, than a control group of students”.

Abstract

The research was intended to verify the determinants of websites usage as learning media based on Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and Theory of Technology Acceptance (TTA). The population was all bachelor degree students of Economic Faculty at State University of Malang, which studied major subjects of marketing at 2nd semester in 2007/2008. The population size was 344 students. The Davis-Cosenza's formula was used to determine the sample size of 183 students. The Likert-five point scale was used as a research instrument. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The findings fully confirmed the measurement model of TRA and TTA, and the structural model of TRA, while the structural model of TTA was confirmed by adjustment of its measurement model.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a meta-analysison determining factors that affect student’s entrepreneurial intention. There are a variety of findings from several studies on the influence of the variables on entrepreneurial intention (Zhao et al., 2010; Bae et al., 2014). According to Wolf (1986), there is a need for synthesis on the various findings of several studies by using a meta-analysis approach.The meta-analysis procedure adopts the procedure by Baeet al.(2014), which includes sample identification for meta-analysis, determination, and measurement on the analyzed variables, and data analysis.This procedure has been able to filter samples from twelve dissertations/theses that place entrepreneurial intention as the critical variables in the studies. This procedure has also been able to determine eight predictors of entrepreneurial intention, which includesperceived desirability, entrepreneurship education, perceived feasibility, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial attitude, internal locus of control, need for achievement, and adversityquotient. The meta-analysis findings show six significant predictors, which are perceived desirability, perceived feasibility, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial attitude, need for achievement, and adversityquotient. Besides that, entrepreneurship education and internal locus of controlare two insignificant predictors.

Abstract

The research was intended to produce an empowerment model for improving the performance of public employee cooperative (KPRI). The model is called as the KPRI’s Strategic Performance Management (SPM) model. The research was designed by using developmental research design during two phases. The research is the first one and the output is the draft of KPRI’s SPM model. The sample was taken by using a purposive technique including sample of KPRI and personnel sample of KPRI. Four KPRIs, namely KPRI Universitas Negeri Malang, KPRI Budi Pogalan Trenggalek, KPRI Keluarga SMPN 1 Sidoarjo, and KPRI Jaya Tuban, were selected as sample of KPRI. Five people were also selected from each KPRI as personnel sample. People were involved in field information collecting, namely assessing the implementation level of main elements of the KPRI’s SPM model. The result showed that in general, the implementation level accomplished the high level, but not equal in four KPRIs.
