Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce IPS learning media using sparkol videoscribe which is valid, practical and effective to meet students' need. IPS learning media will then be tested feasibility by experts. This research uses the research procedure and development model of ADDIE. This development model consists of 5 development stages namely Analisys, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results showed that IPS learning media using sparkol videoscribe is feasible to use in learning. This is demonstrated by the results of the expert test on the display design of sparkol videoscribe learning media included into the criteria "Very Eligible" with a percentage of 86%, expert test results on the presentation of sparkol videoscribe learning media materials included into the criteria "Very Eligible" with a percentage of 83% and test result with small group that is 10 student to know student response to learning media of IPS using sparkol videoscribe included in criterion "Very Eligible" with percentage equal to 96%. IPS learning media using sparkol videoscribe can be used as a reference material in the subjects of social studies especially on the subject of economic activity.Keywords: IPS Learning Media, Sparkol Videoscribe

Abstract

Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) Strategies include Advertising, Sales Promotion, Events and Experience, Public Relations and Publicity, Direct Marketing, Interactive Marketing, Word of mouth Marketing, Personal Sales. Implementation of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategy at Muhammadiyah Metro University has been applied all. Recapitulation of interview result with student in choosing campus and study program of economics at Muhammadiyah Metro University can be seen that student interest for college campus Muhammadiyah Metro University obtained by students that is 32 or 64% come from relatives (family, alumni, relatives) who have experience from the University of Muhammadiyah Metro especially alumni who has provided information to his relatives to enter the University of Muhammadiyah Metro Prodi Economic Education. Students' interest in choosing the study program and the campus is influenced by relatives (alumni, relatives, friends, family) who have had experience in the campus of Muhammadiyah Metro University. Giving information coming from relatives into the Word of Mouth strategy can be a mainstay because it is effective in persuading and influencing decisions from prospective students.Keywords: Integrated Marketing Communication, Interests, Marketing Strategy

Abstract

Instructional media playing an important role in the communication process between teachers and students optimally established. However, it has not fully met the needs of students in the learning process. In the development of science and technology and the existence of the 4.0 industrial revolution, it increasingly encourages various offorts to take advantage of technology, this can encourage the implementation of learning to be more varied oan innovative. The purpose of this development is to produce an Android-based E-comic media as instructional media on monetary and fiscal policy instructional material of xi grade of Paramarta 1 Senior High School, which is valid and practical. This research was conducted using R&D (Research and Development) or development research with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). The process for developing E-comics begins with a validation stage by two media experts and one material experts. The e-comic was also tested in small groups to see the responses of Xl graders at Paramarta 1 Senior High School of Seputih Banyak. The results of the study show an increase, this is indicated by the results of the validation of the instructional media experts with a percentage of 91.2% with very strong criteria, the results of assessments by material experts with a rate of 91.4% with very strong criteria, and the results of online testing with small groups, ten from thirty students with a percentage of 88% included in the Very Strong standards. Based on the percentage obtained, e-comic is declared valid and practical to be used as instructional media.Keywords: Android, E-comics, Instructional Media, Technology

Abstract

The development of science and technology is growing rapidly. This requires the existence of quality human beings so as to be able to create new innovations and be able to face competition. Education is a pursuit of school for children and adolescents who are handed over to them to have perfect skills and full awareness of their social relationships and tasks. The 2013 curriculum goal is to prepare Indonesian people to have the ability to live as the individu and citizens who are faithful, productive, creative, innovative, and affective and able to contribute to the life of society, nation, state and world civilization. The problem formulation of this class action research is how is the effect of the application of PQ4R learning methods to improve learning outcomes of economic subjects at XI grade students of Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Metro". The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the application of the PQ4R learning method and to improve learning outcomes of economic subjects in class XI of Muhammadiyah 1 Metro High School "and the benefits of classroom action research were seen from two parties in terms of theoretical and practical aspects. The action hypothesis in this class action research through the use of PQ4R learning methods (preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review), to improve the economic learning outcomes of class XI students of Muhammadiyah 1 Metro High School. The application of the PQ4R method in learning economics at XI grade of Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Metro can increase teacher and student activity. It can be seen from the average score of teacher activity in cycle I, namely 41.16 with the category "sufficient", in the second cycle increased to 45.83 with the category "good" with a difference of 4.67. Likewise, the average score of the first cycle of student activity is 41.16 with the category "enough", in the second cycle increased to 46, 99 with the "good" category with a difference of 5.83. So it can be concluded that by applying the learning model Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) can increase student learning outcomes of economic subjects at XI grade of Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Metro.Keywords: PQ4R Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran adalah faktor penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan pembelajaran. Dalam proses pembelajaran dosen harus memberikan penjelasan yang dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam memahami materi yang diajarkan. Salah satu cara yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran menggunakan video tutorial. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam mata kuliah pengenalan komputer adalah media video tutorial. Penggunaan video tutorial berdampak positif terhadap mahasiswa. Mahasiswa lebih tertarik terhadap pembelajaran yang langsung di praktekkan. Video tutorial berisi tentang materi yang akan dipelajari. Pemanfaatan video tutorial terhadap pembelajaran bukan hanya memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mendalami materi, tapi memudahkan dosen dalam membimbing mahasiswa secara langsung.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis kualitatif dengan model analisis interaktif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling  untuk  mahasiswa.  Teknik  pengumpulan  data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi  kualitas belajar mahasiswa. Diantaranya adalah pembelajaran yang monoton, kurangnya fasilitas pembelajaran, dan materi kurang menarik. Oleh karena itu penggunaan media video tutorial sangat bermanfaat bagi pembelajaran. Kurangnya kemandirian belajar dapat diatasi dengan pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran yaitu media video tutorial. Dengan menggunakan media berupa video tutorial mahasiswa sangat antusias dalam mengikuti mata kuliah pengenalan komputer. Minat mahasiswa dalam belajar pun meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh tingkat absensi yang hampir selalu terisi penuh. Hasil rekap absen kelas A dan B menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata mahasiswa yang tidak masuk hanya  10 % atau 7 mahasiswa selama satu semester ini. Jika dibandingkan dengan semester yang lalu mahasiswa yang tidak hadir bisa mencapai 20% atau 14 mahasiswa selama satu semester. Dengan meningkatnya minat mahasiswa, akan berdampak terhadap hasil dan kualitas  pembelajaran yang meningkat. Kata kunci :  Media Pembelajaran, Video Tutorial, Hasil belajar.

Abstract

Students have low graduation rate on KKM replicate mid semester IPS Integrated makes the need for research in class VIII C MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Timur. With various elements that support the learning process then students should be able to learn well. This provides the discourse that with various elements for learning fulfilled it can affect the mastery of concepts and improve student learning outcomes, and use the method of Numbered Head Together (NHT) aided concept map selected by the author because it is appropriate for this problem. The formulation of this research problem is "is there any effect of the use of head together method (NHT) assisted concept map of integrated IPS learning outcomes grade VIII students even semester of MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Timur academic Year 2016/2017?”The purpose of this research is "To know the effect of using method of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) assisted concept map to the result of study of IPS integrated Grade VIII grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Timur in academic year 2016/2017".This research is quantitative to find out how the influence of the method of Numbered Head Together (NHT) assisted Concept Map on Integrated IPS learning results, using Quasi Experiment Design. In the test using Simple Linear Regression formula Y'= 45,17074 + 0,5237 X then from the analysis results obtained that there is a positive influence. This is evidenced by the calculation of the analysis that t_count> t_table and seen at a significant level of 5% is 7.04> 1.70, thus the hypothesis is accepted. So "there is a positive influence using the method of Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the learning outcomes IPS Integrated VIII class students even semester MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Timur academic 2016/2017

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi semakin mendorong pemanfaatan hasil-hasil teknologi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan media pembelajaran sebagai sarana penunjang kegiatan pembelajaran guna tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara optimal. Berdasarkan fenomena yang terdapat pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi untuk mata kuliah manajemen keuangan yang hasil belajarnya belum optimal, maka diperlukan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berupa media komik strip. Komik strip dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran karena diduga sesuai untuk menggambarkan materi pembelajaran agar dapat membantu memudahkan pemahaman mahasiswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif metode eksperimen, dengan desain eksperimen semu atau quasi eksperimental design bentuk nonequivalent   control   group   design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah  t-test dua sampel independen. Pemanfaatan media komik strip mempengaruhi hasil belajar ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi uji t adalah 0,000. Nilai signifikansi tersebut kurang dari 0,05 yang berarti bahwa H1 tidak ditolak serta nilai t hitung adalah sebesar 5,508 > dari t tabel yaitu sebesar 1,99. Sehingga pemanfaatan komik strip sebagai media pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Learning Media is one of the most important components of education for teachers and students in the learning process. So we need learning media that can be used and studied at any time for all students but also follows the development of technology. Based on these problems the learning media in the form of books used by students namely Edmodo-based E-books can be used for alternative solutions to existing problems. The aim of this development is to produce a valid and practical e-book.The Development Model used by the ADDIE model consists of 5 stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results showed that edmodo-based e-books are valid for use in the learning process. The results of validation by media experts with 88% criteria are very valid, material experts with 86% criteria are very valid. The results of edmodo-based e-book products testing to students with a percentage of 86% criteria are very practical, this shows that the e-book can already be used as a medium of accounting learning. Based on the recapitulation, it can be concluded that e-book based on Edmodo is a valid and practical learning media in the learning process. Keywords: E-Book, Edmodo, Learning Media

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of learning probing prompting assisted flash card media to the learning outcomes of study of IPS integrated second semester class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Metro academic year 2016/2017.The population in this study is the students of class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Metro academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 48 students. The sample used is class VIIB MTs Muhammadiyah Metro which amounts to 24 students as experiment class, while class VIIA become control class. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of the use of learning with Probing Prompting Helped Flash Card Media to the results of learning IPS integrated with the formula of simple linear regression. From the data analysis of the results of the study using simple linear regression formula with a significant level of 5% obtained tcount = 3.85 while ttable = 1.72 shows t count > ttable, so the hypothesis accepted, that there is a significant influence from the use of probing prompting model assisted flash card media on the learning outcomes of study of IPS integrated second semester class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Metro academic year 2016/2017.Keywords : Flash card, Learning outcomes, Probing prompting

Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to make an IPS comic with the theme economic activity as the learning media that suitable for VII Grade of SMP Negeri 04 Metro. This research used 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination). However, this research just as for as develop step. In this research, the researcher did not use Dissemination step because of limited time and expense. In the first step, the researcher analyzed the students needed by doing pre-survey at SMP Negeri 4 Metro. Next, the researcher made the design of Keywords: Developing, Learning Media, IPS Comicproduct such as making learning comic with the topic economic activity. The result of product that made by the researcher will be validated by the expert of learning media, the expert of topic and language. For the next, this research was tested to a little group consist of 10 students from VII B SMP Negeri 4 Metro. The result of the value validation percentage for the expert of learning media is 93%, the expert of topic 88%,the expert of language 96% and value tasted from the little group is 94,6%. So, it can be concluded that comic with the topic economic activity is very reasonable to use for the students as the IPS learning media with the topic economic activity for VII Grade at SMP.
