Abstract

Algae Genus in Organic Rice Fields Planted with Local and Inhibrida Rice in Subak Jatiluwih, Tabanan. The abundance of microalgae in rice fields, especially microalgae from Cyanophyta division that are capable of fixing nitrogen, is very important helping maintain soil fertility. The aim of this study was to find out the genus of algae in organic rice fields of Subak Jatiluwih, Tabanan. The research was conducted from September 2018 to April 2019. Sampling was done in Subak Jatiluwih. Algae breeding were carried out at Biology and Physics Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. This research method uses descriptive quantitative. The implementation of the research included the determination of location, soil and water sampling, identification of algae, and analysis of algae genera. Enrichment algae was carried out using the MPN method, results of the analysis of algae genus were found in 37 genera from 3 divisions i.e Chlorophyta, Cyanophyta and Chrysophyta. Descriptive quantitative method Most Probable Number (MPN) calculation conclude that there are not much different from the Local and Inhibrida rice fields. The maximum population algae of local rice fields is 1.100 cell g-1 and Inhibrida rice fields is >1.100 cell g-1 of land. The minimum population is 3,6 cell g-1 of land in local rice fields, and 9,2 cell g-1 of land in Inhibrida rice fields.

Abstract

Azotobacter spp. Viabilities on Some Combinations of Carrier Media. The purpose of this research was to find suitable carrier media for the survival of Azotobacter spp. as a biological fertilizer, before being applied to the field. The method used in this research is explorative, by inoculating Azotobacter spp. Isolate on 4 types of carrier media, namely soil; cocopeat; wood dust and charcoal with a combination of the following: K1 (Land); K2 (soil + cocopeat); K3 (Soil + sawdust) and K4 (Soil + husk charcoal), which were repeated 3 times, so there were 12 experimental units. Analysis of N, P, K, C-organic and pH for soil media, while for cocopeat, wood powder and husk charcoal, an analysis of N and P, C-organic tissue and pH was carried out. The parameters observed were optical density at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks. The results showed that the survival of Azotobacter spp. in K4 carrier media (a combination of soil and husk charcoal) is more secure than other types of carrier media with optical density that has not decreased. Analysis of N and P for rice husk charcoal tissue gave the highest results, namely 1,680% and 1,351%, which were one of the supporters of this inoculant viability. Azotobacter spp. viability still guaranteed until 6 weeks incubation period, in several media, (soil + cocopeat), (soil + sawdust), and (soil + husk charcoal). The combination of media (soil + husk charcoal) gave the highest population increase at the 6 weeks incubation period.

Abstract

Desa Belimbing merupakan sebuah desa di Kecamatan Pupuan Kabupaten Tabanan kaya akan potensi wisata alam dan tradisi masyarakat namun belum dikelola secara optimal. Untuk memacu perkembangan pariwisata desa ini, pemerintah desa dan Pemda Tabanan mengembangkan wisata dengan brand “Kampung Wisata Gula Aren”. Tematik ini diambil dari produk unggulan desa berupa gula aren dan tradisi pengolahannya yang sangat menarik sebagai atraksi wisata minat khusus. Wisatawan yang berminat belajar cara membuat olahan dari nira aren dapat berkunjung ke desa Belimbing sambil menikmati keindahan alam perdesaan yang masih alami. Tim dari Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra (PPDM) secara bertahap melakukan penataan lokasi dan spot atraksi serta menyiapkan sarana pendukung lainnya untuk menyambut wisatawan di era New Normal . Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pendampingan kelompok tani gula aren dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksinya ; menentukan spot atraksi pengolahan gula aren; edukasi pokdarwis dan kelompok petani gula aren dan masyarakat lainnya untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan di masa pandemi serta melakukan pendampingan pembuatan PERDES mengenai agrowisata di desa Belimbing. Tujuan akhirnya adalah masyarakat berdaya dari segi ekonomi dan tetap eksis menghadapi kondisi perubahan tatanan kehidupan baru.

Abstract

Pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan karyawan CV Timan Agung tentang Strategi Pemasaran pada masa pandemi covid 19. Metode yang dilakukan adalah penyuluhan strategi pemasaran baik secara offline maupun online. Strategi yang offline meliputi menjual produk ke konsumen seperti Subak, Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes) dan Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (Bumda). sesuai dengan kebutuhan, sedangkan strategi online yaitu menjual berbagai jenis produk menggunakan alat elektronik/ berbasis komputer ( Wa, Fb, masager, Youtube) sehingga bisa dikenal di seluruh Nusantara dan analisis pendapatan CV Timan Agung. Hasil dari pengabdian adalah terwujudnya : (1) Strategi pemasaran lewat Bumdes ; (2) Strategi pemsaran lewat Subak (3) strategi pemasaran lewat toko-toko tanaman hias dan (3) strategi pemasaran melalui media elektornik (Wa, Fb, Maseger dan Youtube). Kesimpulan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada masa covid 19 adalah : (1) pemasaran produk CV Timan Agung 100% dilaksanakan secara mandiri melalui ofline dan online, CV Timan Agung juga bekerjasama dengan Bumdes Kelating dalam pemasaran produk dan (2) aset CV Timan Agung seperti mobil meningkat 50% (dari 6 menjadi 9), tanah 40 are dan jumlah karyawan meningkat 66% (dari 19 menjadi 25 orang).

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer application of palm sap and jackfruit waste on the growth of mustard greens and the optimum dose of LOF on mustard greens. The research was carried out from November 2020 - March 2021 in the yard of the house in Carep Village, Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara with an altitude of 1,171.5 m above sea level and at the Soil and Environment Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. The design used in this study was CRD (Completely Randomized Design) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The LOF dose treatments P0 = 0 ml/l water, P1 = 5 ml/l water, P2 = 10 ml/l water, P3 = 15 ml/l water, P4 = 20 ml/l water and P5 = 25 ml /l water. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, plant fresh weight and plant dry weight, total number of microorganisms in the soil, pH, organic C, total N, available P, available K and soil moisture content. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer from jackfruit waste on mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.) had a very significant effect on the parameters of available K, moisture content, total microbial population, plant height 21 DAP, fresh plant weight and oven-dried plant weight, gave a significant effect on the parameters of N-total, plant height 14 DAP and 28 DAP and had no significant effect on organic C, soil acidity (pH), available P, plant height 7 DAP. This study has not found the optimum dose because the highest dose treatment (P5) is still increasing.

Abstract

This research aims at examining the effect of organic fertilizers towards the growth andyield of Citronella Grass on Inceptisol. The research was conducted for 8 months;January until September 2020 in Megati Village and at the Soil Science andEnvironment Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. RandomizedBlock Design was applied in this research with eight treatments and four replicationsconsisting of PO0 = no fertilizer, PO1 = 2 kg for each clump of Vermicompost, PO2 = 2kg for each clump of Temesi Landfill compost, PO3 = 2 kg for each clump of WaterHyacinth compost, PO4 = 1 kg for each clump of Vermicompost + 1 kg for each clumpof Temesi Landfill Compost, PO5 = 1 kg for each clump of Vermicompost + WaterHyacinth Compost, PO6 = 1 kg for each clump of Temesi Landfill Compost + 1 kg foreach clump of Water Hyacinth Compost, PO7 = 0,65 kg for each clump ofVermicompost + 0,65 kg for each clumpof Temesi Landfill Compost + 0,65 kg for eachclump of Water Hyacinth Compost. The results of statistical analysis showed that theapplication of organic compost had a real impact on the number of Citronella Grasssaplings, its fresh weight, yield/hectare of Citronella Grass, N-total and disputablyaffected PH, C-organic, P-available, K-available, and the total population of soilmicroorganisme. The treatment of PO4 (1 kg for each clump of Vermicompostcombined with 1 kg for each clump of Temesi Landfill compost) showed that the freshweight of Citronella Grass is 1,4 kg which increased 55,5% compared to the controlwhich merely weights 0,9 kg.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of the composition of the growingmedium on the growth of basil plants. This research was carried out in Banjar DinasBelumbang Kelod, Belumbang Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency, inJanuary-March 2020. Used was a simple randomized block design (RAK). Thecomposition of the planting medium consisted of vermicompost fertilizer, soil and sandweighing 5 kg per treatment. The treatments tested were as follows M0: Soil + Sand(100%); M1: Soil + vermicompost fertilizer + sand (50%: 50%: 0%); M2: Soil +Kascing Fertilizer + Sand (50%: 0%: 50%); M3: Soil + vermicompost fertilizer + sand(50%: 30%: 20%); M4: Soil + Kascing Fertilizer + Sand (50%: 20%: 30%); M5: Soil +vermicompost fertilizer + sand (40%: 40%: 20%); M6: Soil + Kascing Fertilizer + Sand(40%: 30%: 30%); M7: Soil + Kascing Fertilizer + Sand (30%: 40%: 30%); M8: Soil +vermicompost fertilizer + sand (30%: 50%: 20%). The results showed that the effect ofmedia composition gave significantly different results on plant height, fresh weight onsoil, total fresh weight, dry weight above soil, total dry weight, C-organic content andmicroorganism population. The treatment of soil composition + vermicompost fertilizer+ sand (50%: 20%: 30%) gave the best results for the growth of basil and the totalpopulation of soil microorganisms. The highest yield of fresh basil plant wet weight was40.10 grams, an increase of 2.3% compared to the control. Then the microorganismpopulation increased by 50% compared to the control.

Abstract

Effect of Manure Type and Dosage of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Banana Stem Waste on Soil Chemical Properties and Yield of Green Spinach (Amaranthus hybridus L.) Organic fertilizers can improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of soil because they contain macro and micro nutrients that are useful for plants. This aims of the study to determine the interaction and effect of type of manure and dosage of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) on soil chemical properties and yield of green spinach which was carried out from July 2021 to November 2021 in Sukadame Village, Tigapanah District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province. Banana tree trunks are useful for fertilizing plants, and contain very high phosphorus nutrients. The experimental design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with a factorial pattern consisting of 2 factors, namely the type of manure and the dose of liquid organic fertilizer with, A0: no manure, A1: goat manure, A2: chicken manure, A3 : cow manure, while the doses of liquid organic fertilizer are B0 : without liquid organic fertilizer, B1 : 0.75 liters of liquid organic fertilizer, B2 : 1.50 liters of liquid organic fertilizer and B3 : 2.25 liters of liquid organic fertilizer and repeated 3 times so that it becomes 48 units of experimental pot. The interaction between the type of manure and the dose of liquid organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on organic C, available K and available P content. The best manure is chicken manure with soil pH (6.40), soil moisture content (16.45%) and total N content (0.66%). The best change in soil chemical properties was treatment with a dose of liquid organic fertilizer at a dose of 0.75 liters, with soil pH (6.40), soil moisture content (17.29%) and total N content (0.67%), and for influence. the yield is at a dose of 0.75 liters of liquid organic fertilizer with a fresh plant weight of 10.83g.

Abstract

The purpose of this partner village development program is to develop the potential of the village as optimally as possible and empower the target community. One aspect that has the potential to be developed in Belimbing village is agro-tourism. Nature tourism requires supporting facilities such as trajectories/paths for tourists to certain tourist locations. The Suradadi Tracking track was deliberately created and arranged for the benefit of local residents as a production road and for tourists who want to enjoy the beauty of the natural panorama such as rice terraces and stunning mountain views. Belimbing Village has natural tourism potential and community traditions that have not been managed optimally. Since its stipulation as a National Priority Development Area (KPPN), this village has begun to improve, reviving the existing potential with the support of the local government and collaborating with various parties. The Partner Village Development Program Team (PPDM) from Udayana University is one of the parties that collaborates with Belimbing village. One of the activities of this second year program is the arrangement of the Suradadi tracking agrotourism route as part of the saptapesona element. Collaboration between partners, KKN students, local residents, village heads and the Unud PPDM team carried out mutual cooperation to realize the Suradadi tracking path. Along the route, planting of ornamental plants "Puring and fruit" was carried out, as well as socialization of local waste processing technology (TOSS) and preparing special trash bins for inorganic waste so that it added the clean, cool and beautiful elements of Saptapesona. Marketing of village tourism packages is done through the “Godevi” (Go Destination Village) application which involves Pokdarwis and the Godevi team. Abstract

Organic hydroponics based on liquid organic fertilizer. Research on the cultivation of Kailan (Brassica oleracea var. achepala) plants using an organic hydroponic system based on organic fertilizers (POC), was conducted at the experimental garden of Pasraman Unud Jimbaran from March to June 2020. The liquid organic fertilizer used consisted of two types of MOL, namely bamboo shoots MOL and banana weevil MOL. The purpose of this research is to find an organic medium (nutrient solution) that is cheap, easy and environmentally friendly as an alternative substitute. AB mix (inorganic nutrients) which has been used in hydroponic systems. The experimental design used in this study was a Randomized Block Design. Using liquid organic fertilizer from MOL Bamboo Shoots (R) and MOL Banana Hump (B). The treatments consisted of: K (without MOL); K+ (without MOL +AB mix) ; R1& B1 ( 50 ml/L ); R2 & B2 (100 ml/L) ; R3 & B3 (150 ml/L); and R4 & B4 (200 ml/L), there were 10 treatments with 3 replications, so there were 30 experimental units. Initial analysis of the media was carried out on the levels of N, P, K, pH and EC. Parameters measured were number of leaves, plant height, wet weight, plant dry weight. The results showed that hydroponics by only relying on liquid organic fertilizer as a source of nutrition, was not able to support normal plant growth. Wet weight, dry weight and plant height of Kailan in the MOL treatment of banana weevil and MOL of bamboo shoots showed much smaller results, namely 1/10 compared to the AB mix (K+) treatment.
