Abstract

This study aims to describe ability, results percentage, difficulties faced, and how to overcome students' difficulties in writing description compositions seen from the aspects of content, organization, effective sentence mastery, vocabulary, and mechanics in class XI AP1 SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. This study is a descriptive qualitative using a case study approach. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The data sources in this study are documents (students’ description composition) and informants (teachers and students). Data collection techniques are carried out by document analysis and in-depth interviews. Data validity is done by data triangulation techniques, theories, and informant reviews. Data analysis techniques use interactive models, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study are as follows. The ability results to be included in the category pretty good with vulnerable grades of 61-75. Furthermore, the results percentage of each aspect included the content aspect of 19%, the organizational aspect of 22%, the effective sentence mastery aspect by 16%, the vocabulary aspect by 24%, and the mechanical aspect by 19%. The influence of the writing description composition ability is caused by the difficulties faced by students in writing, namely: difficult to express ideas, difficult to develop sentences, difficult to determine good and right spelling, and difficult to concentrate. The solutions are: create an outline, look for sources of inspiration, use the enhanced spelling handbook, and more time to study (writing practice).

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain: (1) the value of character education (moral) in the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, (2) the social values contained in the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, and (3) the use of character education values and social values in the novel Arok Dedes as the development of historical story teaching materials for high school students. The data source in this study is the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a content analysis approach. Sources of data used are novel documents of Arok Dedes and informants. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using document analysis techniques and interviews. The data validity was done by theory triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique in this research is content analysis. The results of this study are (1) there are character education values (moral), including ing ngarso sung tuladha, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani, honesty, justice, tolerance, wisdom, self-discipline, cooperation, courage, and democracy; (2) social values, including the values of love, devotion, help, kinship, loyalty and care; and (3) novel Arok Dedes deserves to be used as teaching material for class XII SMA because it contains character education values. The most dominant character education value is justice, and the dominant social value is kinship.

Abstract

The aims of this research was: (1) describe the planning of learning to write argumentation, (2) describe the implementation of learning to write argumentation, (3) describe the learning appraisal of argumentation, (4) describe the problems faced in learning to write argumentation, (5) In overcoming the problems encountered in learning to write arguments. This research is a kind of qualitative research with case study approach. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the planning of learning to write argumentation consists of syllabus and learning implementation plan. Second, the implementation of learning to write argumentation is quite optimal. Third, the assessment is conducted in two ways: direct and indirect assessment. Fourth, the problems experienced when the implementation of learning took place include: the limited allocation of learning time, the low interest of students, students difficult to pour ideas and ideas into the form of writing, low student vocabulary, and limited facilities and infrastructure. Fourth, the teacher's effort to overcome the problems in the implementation of learning to write argumentation that teachers maximize the delivery of materials, teachers seek a new atmosphere, teachers ask students to create a framework of writing, teachers ask students to make a reading summary, and teachers carry out learning in the language or library laboratory.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain: (1) the kinds of mistakes-speaking on the matter, (2) the cause of the error on the question of language, (3) communication effects caused due to an error on a question of language Final Assessment  subjects Indonesian Language grade XI public senior high school in Sukoharjo Area school, (4) understanding teacher against the rule drafting problem , and (5) precision drafting problem Final Assessment subjects Indonesian Language grade XI public senior high school in Sukoharjo  based on rules of preparation of a matter. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative research this time is both a content analysis (content analysis) with the main data source about the Final Assessment of the Odd Semester subjects Indonesian Language grade XI public senior high school in Sukoharjo . The technique of sampling with purposive sampling and snowball sampling. This research uses data sources triangulation and triangulation method as a test of the validity of the data. The results of the analysis of the findings can be explained as follows. First, errors in language reserved assessment of the end of the Semester in the form of spelling errors, Word, and sentence. Second, language mistakes caused by internal factors and external factors. Internal factors in the form of less understand linguistic rules, the lack of rigour in drawing up the question, a habit of relying on a team of editing, and the wrong habits. While external factors in the form of the mistakes of other languages, is vulnerable for a short time, and there is no evaluation. Third, the effect of communication language errors are significant because the learners feel difficulty in understanding the intent of the question. Fourth, teachers less understand rule drafting reserved either in theory or practice. Fifth, the question of the drafting of the Rules contained in the matter of the assessment of the finalsemester subjects Indonesian Language grade XI public senior high school in Sukoharjo  is not fully using the rules of preparation of the matter that is being applies both from the aspect of material and construction aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the form and function of students’ responsive speech politeness in class interaction at Senior High School. The method used is qualitative descriptive research method with sociopragmatic approach. Data were students’ speech in the process of learning Bahasa Indonesia. Technique of collecting data through recording technique with free listening method (SBLC). Data analysis technique used interactive model in the form of data collecting, data reduction, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results show that there is compliance with the tact maxim, generosity maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, and sympathy maxim. The responsive speech acts are directive, assertive, and expressive that serve acceptance, rejection, request and praise.Keywords: form of responsive speech act, responsive speech act function, classroom interaction.REALISASI KESANTUNAN TUTURAN RESPONSIF SISWA DALAM INTERAKSI KELAS AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi kesantunan tindak tutur responsif siswa dalam interaksi kelas di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiopragmatik. Data berupa tuturan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik perekaman dengan metode simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC). Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pematuhan maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim kesederhanaan, maksim kesepakatan, dan maksim kesimpatian. Adapun tindak tutur yang ditemukan berbentuk direktif, asertif, dan ekspresif yang berfungsi menerima, menolak, meminta, dan memuji.Kata kunci: bentuk kesantunan tindak tutur responsif, fungsi tindak tutur responsif, interaksi kelas.

Abstract

Kecerdasan emosional (EQ) adalah salah satu aspek penting yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan siswa pada setiap kegiatan pembelajaran. Kesan pembelajaran yang ada hanya sebatas pengetahuan yang mengarahkan pada pengembangkan ranah kognitif saja tanpa mempertimbangkan ranah afektif dan psikomotor yang dimiliki siswa. Akibatnya, keterampilan siswa jadi tidak seimbang. Tanpa disadari, kecerdasan emosional justru memiliki peran dalam membentuk keterampilan dan perilaku belajar siswa. Salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat membangun kecerdasan emosional siswa adalah cerpen, karena harus melibatkan unsur-unsur perasaan dan emosi mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun pemahaman mendalam guru tentang pentingnya membangun kecerdasan emosional siswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualtitaif untuk menjawab permasalahan yang ada. Hasilnya, dalam penelitian ini ditemukan perubahan persepsi guru tentang pentingnya membangun kecerdasan emosionalsiswa. Adanya perubahan perilaku belajar siswa menjadi lebih bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran juga menjadi salah satu hasil dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa oleh siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiopragmatik. Data berupa tuturan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik rekam, simak, bebas, libat, cakap. Teknik analisis data dengan model interaktif melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pematuhan maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kesederhanaan, maksim permufakatan, maksim penghargaan, dan maksim kesimpatian. Derajat kesantunan yang muncul mematuhi skala ketidaklangsungan, skala rugi-untung, dan skala keopsionalan. Siswa juga melanggar maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kesederhanaan, maksim penghargaan, dan maksim permufakatan. Skala kesantunan yang dilanggar yakni skala ketidaklangsungan, skala rugi-untung, dan skala keopsionalan. Pematuhan kesantunan berbahasa siswa dapat dijadikan bahan ajar materi teks negosiasi Bahasa Indonesia.Kata kunci: pematuhan dan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa, interaksi kelas, negosiasi.AbstractThis study aims to describe the form of students compliance and violation of the politeness principle. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with sociopragmatic approach. Data in the form of students' speech in the learning process of Indonesian language. Technique of data collecting through recording technique with free listening method (SBLC). Data analysis technique with interactive models through data collection, data reduction, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results show that there is tact maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, approbation maxim, and sympathy maxim. The degree of politeness that appears to abide by indirectness scale, cost-benefit scale, and optionality scale. The students also violates the tact macim, modesty maxim, approbation maxim, and agreement maxim. Violation scales are the indirectness scale, cost-benefit scale, and optionality scale. The compliance of students' language politeness can be used as material for learning the Indonesian negotiation text.Keywords: compliance and violation of politeness, classroom interaction, negotiation.

Abstract

The application of AKM or Minimum Competency Assessment is used to measure students' abilities, one of which is in terms of literacy, which is oriented towards technology-based learning, innovation, and critical reasoning. In the aspect of literacy in the implementation of AKM, it has a contextual nature and is able to solve problems (problem solving) in providing stimulation for students to think critically or critical thinking. The study used a questionnaire quantitative research method presented on a Likert scale with five answer choices, namely strongly agree (SS); agree (S); normal (BS); disagree (TS); strongly disagree (STS). The measuring tool used in reading motivation is the Reading Motivation Questionnaire (RMQ) developed by the author into 7 dimensions, including (a) curiosity, (b) involvement, (c) academic value, (d) competition, (e) recognition. social, (f) regulation of emotions, and (g) freedom from boredom. To measure literacy motivation in junior high school students as the effect of implementing AKM on students. The source of this research is class VIII students at SMP PGRI 2 Wates who follow the AKM as the target school in the Class 4 Teaching Campus activities in 2022. The results obtained based on the measuring instrument for students' literacy motivation after carrying out the assessment on students concluded an increase in literacy motivation. students after implementing AKM on students. Keywords: literacy motivation; Minimum Competency Assessment; Reading Motivation Questionnaire

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan keberimbangan dan keberpihakan media, serta peralihan kurikululum 2013 ke kurikulum merdeka belajar. Itu membuat peneliti mengarahkan penelitian ini pada analisis struktur mikro, meso, dan makro teks. Kemudian hasil analisisnya direlevansikan dengan materi ajar artikel di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan representasi omnibus law di Suaramerdekasolo.com dan Solopos.com, proses penyajian berita, serta relevansinya sebagai materi ajar artikel berita di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif paradigma kritis Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) Norman Fairclough dikombinasikan dengan analisis framing Pan dan Kosicki. Hasil penelitian ditemukan: 1) representasi omnibus law menunjukkan citra negatif; 2) citra tersebut dipengaruhi oleh: a) sikap pekerja media dalam mengonstruksi fakta; b) penggunaan situasi konflik pengesahan sebagai dasar pemberitaan; c) orientasi institusi pada kepentingan ekonomi; d) kondisi sosiokultural, hampir setengah penduduk Indonesia bekerja sebagai buruh/karyawan dengan kondisi sosial ekonomi yang belum merata, ketimpangan sosial ekonomi yang cukup tinggi, dan kekhawatiran publik atas pendegradasian hak-hak dan kesejahteraan buruh/pekerja; 3) representasi dan proses penyajian berita relevan sebagai materi ajar menulis artikel berita di SMA karena sesuai dengan Kompetensi Inti dan Kompetensi Dasar serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa terhadap materi ajar yang baik, memuat pemahaman konteks dan memuat pemodelan teks.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the form and uniqueness of language politeness in classroom interaction in senior high school with a background of Java language. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with sociopragmatic approach. Data in the form of students' speech in the learning process of Bahasa Indonesia. Technique of collecting data by using listening, feee, participating, speaking and data transcription. Data analysis techniques use interactive model in the form of data collection, data reduction, data analysis, and conclusion.
