Abstract

Story problem is the type of math problems presented by the media of language and story. This study was done to identify the type of discourse structure of the story problem in mathematics textbooks for low-grade student in primary school. The focus of study is viewed from the number of components and the type of the integration of those components. There are three components in the story problems, namely introduction, events, and question component. Nine mathematics textbooks of 1th, 2nd, and 3rd were taken as sample with three books for each grade. The study result about the number of components composing story problems also shows that most of story problems for primary one, two, and three-grade consist of three components. The others are story problems with only two components by omitting the first component which is the introduction component. Viewed from the components integration type, result shows that story problems components that are combined for primary two and three are the introduction and events components or the events and question components. The integration between introduction component and events component is indicated by the conjunction “and”, “while/whereas”, and a comma. The integration between events and question component is indicated by the conjunction “if”. It will all produce complex sentences. The conclusion of this study is that, viewed from their discourse structure, most story problems for primary one and two students are relatively shorter than three, by omitting the setting and character element in introduction. It implies that there is no introduction part to introduce the context or narrative elements whose function is to connect the real world and mathematics.

Abstract

Skill writing poetry in a student VIII SMPN district Magetan relating to two factors namely mastery diction and creativity verbal. This research have aims test the whereabout of: (1) the relationship between mastery diction and skill wrote poems; (2) the relationship between creativity verbal with skill wrote poems; and (3) the relationship between mastery diction and creativity verbal in bersama-sama with skill writing poetry. Research method used in this research is survey with correlational study. Sample consists of four public schools, namely: SMPN 1 Maospati as schools that have high performance, state the SMPN 1  Barat as having school achievement was, state SMPN 2 Maospati as schools that have low achievement and SMPN 2 Barat class test as an instrument with the total sample 20 students taken with clusters of random sampling. Based on the results of research findings can be concluded as follows: (1) there was a correlation a significant positive between mastery diction and skills wrote poems with the results of regression simple of Ŷ = 39.99 + 1.16X1, correlation of 0.90 and results of the contribution of 81 %; (2) there was a correlation a significant positive between creativity verbal with skill wrote poems with the results of regression simple of Ŷ  = 19.27 + 0.52X2, correlation of by 0.80 and results of the contribution at 64 %; and (3) there was a correlation a significant positive between mastery diction and creativity verbal together with skill wrote poems with the results of regression double of Ŷ = 27.19 + 0.86X1 + 0.21X2, correlation of 0.97 and results of the contribution of 94.09 %.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to improve students the quality of learning process and improving skill of writing short stories text skills. The subject of the study was student class VII D and a teacher in SMP Negeri 1 Juwana. The application of Experiential Learning Method and audiovisual media are to improve the quality of learning process and improving skill of writing short stories text and changing behaviors, religious and social attitudes of students to be better. This research shaped Classroom Action Research. Techniques of data collection is done by observation, interviews, tests and document analysis. The research process is performed in two cycles. Every cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research was the class VII D total students is 32 and teachers as collaborators. Data collection technique are observation, interview, test and document analysis. The validity of the data used triangulation techniques and review the informant. Data analysis used comparative analysis techniques and technical descriptions of critic analysis. The result of this research shows Experiential Learning Method and audiovisual media through can be used for improving the learning-process quality in writing short story text and improving skill of writing short story text. The conclusion of this research is implementing Experiential Learning method and audiovisual media can improve the learning-process quality and skill of writing short stories of VII D students in SMP Negeri 1 Juwana.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk meningkatkan: (1) keaktifan siswa dalam kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII-F SMP Negeri 2 Mojolaban; dan (2) keterampilan kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII-F SMP Negeri 2 Mojolaban.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian  tindakan  kelas yang terdiri dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap: (1) perencanaan; tahap pelaksanaan; (3) tahap observasi dan interpretasi; dan (4) tahap analisis dan refleksi. Persentase keaktifan siswa pada siklus I adalah sebesar 53% sedangkan pada siklus II menjadi  83%. Persentase peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa juga dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang bisa menulis puisi yang mencapai skor ≥ 75 setiap siklus. Pada survei awal, persentase siswa yang dapat mencapai nilai kelulusan 14%. Siklus I adalah 46% dan pada siklus II adalah 89%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi, aktivitas, dan kemampuan menulis pada siswa sekolah dasar dengan menerapkan pendekatan proses. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas di mana setiap siklus mencakup perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan prosesyang terdiri dari lima tahap kegiatan menulis mampu meningkatkan kualitas proses serta hasil pembelajaran menulis siswa sekolah dasar. Lima tahap tersebut adalah pramenulis, menulis, merevisi isi, mengedit bahasa, dan berbagi tulisan. Peningkatan ini ditunjukkan oleh meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang termotivasi dan memiliki partisipasi yang sangat baik selama proses penulisan kreatif. Selain itu, peningkatan juga terlihat dengan semakin banyaknya siswa yang mencapai prestasi belajar menulis yang baik. Cara penerapan  pendekatan proses yang efektif adalah(1) tahap prapenulisan melalui pemilihan dan pembatasan pedoman topik esai serta pedoman dalam penyusunan sketsa esai, (2) tahap penulisan dengan panduan untuk mengembangkan topik dalam sketsa esai menjadi paragraf untuk menghasilkan draft esai, (3) tahap revisi dan tahap penyuntingan dengan memberikan umpan balik tentang kesalahan pada konten esai dan kesalahan dalam tata bahasa serta dengan memberikan panduan tentang bagaimana meningkatkan konten dan memperbaiki kesalahan tata bahasa, dan (4) ) tahap publikasi yang dicapai dengan memajang karya siswa di papan informasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan unsur intrinsik dan nilai-nilai pendidikan cerkak dalam majalah Jaya Baya edisi Agustus ? Oktober 2014, serta mendeskripsikan relevansinya sebagai bahan ajar apresiasi sastra Jawa kelas X sekolah menengah atas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas tema bersifat tradisional. Alur yang digunakan adalah alur maju. Tokoh terdiri dari tokoh utama dan tokoh tambahan. Penokohan dimunculkan melalui dimensi fisik, psikis, dan sosial. Watak psikis tokoh dimunculkan dengan teknik ekspositori dan dramatik. Latar meliputi latar tempat, waktu, dan sosial. Sudut pandang yang digunakan mayoritas adalah sudut pandang orang pertama. Amanat yang disampaikan berkaitan dengan sikap terhadap diri sendiri, terhadap sesama, dan terhadap Tuhan. Nilai moral paling banyak terdapat dalam cerkak Welingmu dan Mbah Kakung. Nilai sosial dalam cerkak Welingmu dan Oncating Cahya. Nilai budaya dalam cerkak Nglegok. Nilai religius dalam cerkak Welingmu, Mbah Kakung, dan Oncating Cahya. Berdasarkan hasil kajian terhadap unsur intrinsik dan nilai pendidikan, cerkak dalam majalah Jaya Baya edisi Agustus ? Oktober 2014 dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar apresiasi sastra Jawa kelas X SMA.Kata kunci: unsur intrinsik, nilai pendidikan, cerkak, bahan ajar

Abstract

This study aims to increase student interest in learning to write poetry with epigonal techniques on students of class VII E SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta academic year 2016/2017. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was started from January 2017-August 2017. Data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interviews, tests, field notes, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive comparative and critical analysis. The results of this study are the application of epigonal techniques which can increase student learning interest in learning to write poetry in class VII E SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta Lesson Year 2016/2017. This is seen in cycle I meeting 1, the percentage of students who were active during apperception 75.17%; attention and concentration 75,86%; and students' enthusiasm and enthusiasm when teachers delivered materials of 78.62%. In the second cycle of meeting 2 there was an increase of the students who were active during the apperception was 84.83%; attention and concentration 86,21%; and students' enthusiasm and enthusiasm when teachers delivered material 86.20%.Key words/phrases: Epigonal Techniques, Poetry Writing, Interests, classroom action research, Indonesian PENINGKATAN MINAT SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS PUISI MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK EPIGONAL  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi dengan teknik epigonal pada siswa kelas VII E SMP 16 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dimulai dari Januari 2017-Agustus 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, tes, catatan lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif dan analisis kritis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan teknik epigonal dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi  pada kelas VII E SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Hal ini terlihat pada siklus I pertemuan 1 persentase siswa yang aktif selama apersepsi 75,17%; perhatian dan konsentrasi 75,86%; dankeaktifan dan antusias siswa pada saat guru menyampaikan materi 78,62%. Pada siklus II pertemuan 2 terjadi peningkatan yaitu siswa yang aktif selama apersepsi adalah 84,83%; perhatian dan konsentrasi 86,21%; dankeaktifan dan antusias siswa pada saat guru menyampaikan materi 86,20%.Kata Kunci/frase: teknik epigonal, menulis puisi, minat, penelitian tindakan kelas, bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Writing is a skill about pouring an idea or concept in form of write (written). The research which is done in X IPA 2 class of SMA Negeri Karangpandan showed that the value of the student writing skill is still low. This research purpose is to raise a writing skill of the learners which is use a Think Talk Write method. This research is held on March until May. The subjects in this research are the teachers and the student of X IPA 2 class in SMA Negeri Karangpandan. The data is in the form of picture, video, Education of Implementation plan, test result, list of value, transcription of interviewing and field record. The resource of the data include: Informant, Place and Event, and the document. The data validity uses a triangulation method and triangulation data resource. The analysis data technique is use analysis critical technique and descriptive comparative technique. The indicator achievement amount 80% .The research procedure comprise with planning, implementation of the action, and reporting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode Think Talk Write. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai bulan Mei. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri Karangpandan. Data berupa foto, video, rpp, hasil tes, daftar nilai, catatan hasil wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Sumber data meliputi: informan, tempat dan peristiwa, dan dokumen. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber data. Teknik analisis data dengan teknik analisis kritis dan teknik deskriptif komparatif. Indikator ketercapaian sebesar 80%. Prosedur penelitian terdiri perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan pelaporan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Think Talk Write mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerpen berdasarkan cerita rakyat peserta didik kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri Karangpandan.Kata Kunci: menulis cerpen, cerita rakyat, metode Think Talk Write

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive research aims to (1) describe and explain the structure of folklore of Purbalingga District, (2) to describe and explain the social care values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) describe and explain the relevance of folklore as the character buildingand teaching material in Junior High School. Data and information are collected through informants and documents. Data collection is done through observation, recording, interview, and document analysis. Research sample is determined by purposive sampling technique. Validation of data is done by triangulation. The results of this research are:(1) the structure of folklore Purbalingga District, (2) social caring values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) relevance of folklore as the character building and teaching material in Junior High School.

Abstract

This type of research includes qualitative descriptive research. The selected samples are class XII IPS 5, XII IPS 1 and XII IPS 4 with purposive sampling sampling technique. Source of data used in the form of document document analysis. Technique of data collecting used with technique of free libat captive, recording technique and technique of note. Data analysis technique used in this research is interactive analysis model. The result of this research is finding the form of internal code transfer: (1) switch code from Indonesian to Javanese (2) switch code from Java to Indonesian language. The form of external codes is found: (1) switch code from Indonesian to foreign (English) (2) switch code from Indonesian to foreign (Arabic). From the research results found: 1) mix the word tangible code, 2) mix the tangible code phrase, 3) mix the tangible code clause, 4) mixed tangible code of the word. Factors that influence the use of code transfers include: 1) speakers, 2) speaking partners, 3) presence of third persons, 4) subject, 5) to arouse sense of humor, 6) to be prestigious. Critical factors include: 1) speaker and personal speaker, 2) talk partner, 3) residence and time of conversation, 4) speech mode, 5) topic, 6) function and purpose, 7) variety and level speak the language. The functions of code transfer and code interfacing include: 1) clarifying and clarifying statements, 2) quoting other people's conversations, 3) avoiding rough and smooth forms.
