Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui metode bermain peran pada siswa kelas V SD Bala Keselamatan Palu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 13 orang siswa yang terdiri atas 6 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan 77% siswa kelas V SD Bala Keselamatan Palu belum memiliki kemampuan berbicara yang baik. Skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I adalah 61,15. Dengan banyaknay siswa yang telahtutnas pada siklus I adalah 7 orang iatau 53,85% dan yang belum tutnas ada 6 orang atau 46,15%. Setelah dilanjutkan pada siklus II diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajr siswa terhadap materi pelajaran berbicara adalah 78,62%. Dengan banyaknya siswa yang telah lulus pada siklus ini ada 11 orang atau 84,62% dan yang belum lulus ada 2 orang atau 15,38%. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian kemampuan berbicara pada tindakan siklus 1, aspek pelafalan rata-rata 61,50, aspek intonasi rata-rata 61,50, aspek kelancaran rata-rata 67,75 dana spek ekspresi rata-rata 66,00. Dari empat aspek yang dinilai 2 di antaranya tidak mencapai KKM (65) dua aspek sudah mencapai KKM namun belum memuaskan. Faktor penyebab siklus I adalah belum maksimalnya aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran sehingga mempengaruhi kemampuan berbicaranya. Upaya yang dilakukan pada tindakan selanjutnya adalah memperbaiki skenario pembelajaran secara terperinci dan memaksimalkan potensi siswa dengan memotivasi siswa. Hasil tindakan siklus 2, aspek pelafalan rata-rata 82,25 aspek intonasi rata-rata 78,75, aspek kelancaran rata-rata 80,75 dan aspek ekspresi rata-rata 73,00. Secara keseluruhan sudah mencapai KKM sehingga pembelajaran dinyatakan berhasil.

Abstract

The research problems were (1) what form of spelling errors and punctuation in preparing the lesson plan for elementary school teachers in Ulujadi district?, (2) what the factors cause spelling errors  and punctuation in preparing the lesson plan for elementary school teachers in Ulujadi district?. The objective of this research is to describe the form of spelling errors and punctuation and the factors that cause spelling errors and punctuation in preparing the lesson plan for elementary school teachers in Ulujadi district?. This research method was descriptive that explain and present accurate data about spelling errors and punctuation and to provide instructions according to the Indonesian language spelling rules. The data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the research show that the mistakes in the preparation of the lesson plan for elementary school teacher in Ulujadi district are the misuse of capital letters, misuse of small letters, misuse of words, and misuse of punctuation. The causes of spelling error in preparing the lesson plan for elementary school teacher in Ulujadi district are as follow: First, error is caused by a lack of understanding of language rules called competency factors. Second, there is a lack of supervision and correction from the principal about the lesson plan for the teacher. Third, there is a lack of training activities from the education department to elementary school teachers. Fourth, there is a guidebook of lesson plan for elementary school teacher. Fifth, writing is not a priority in preparing the lesson plan, the most important is the content of the lesson plan itself so that the teachers do not pay attention to the writing rules. To achieve spelling usage in preparing the lesson plan, commitment from all parties is needed to make improvements.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan metode menulis berantai untuk meningkatkan kemempuan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD. Inpres 1 Talise Palu dan apakah penerapan metode menulis berantai dapat meningkatkan kemempuan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD Inpres 1 Talise Palu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan metode menulis berantai untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi dan meningkatkan hasil menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD Inpres 1 Talise Palu tahun ajaran 2015/2016 melalui penerapan metode menulis berantai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskritif. Ada pun data penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif dan kualitatif.  Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui hasil evaluasi tes sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh melalui hasil observasi dengan meggunakan analis presentase. Berdasarkan hasil  penelitian bahwa penggunaan metode menulis berantai dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD Inpres 1 Talise Palu. Hal ini terlihat adanya peningkatan jumlah siswa yang mengalami ketuntasan belajar dari siklus I hingga siklus II yaitu dari nilai rata rata klasikal 14,28% dan kelulusan individu  55,75% pada siluis I meningkat menjadi rata rata  klasikal 95,25%  dan rata rata individu menjadi  80,05% pada siklus II hal ini berarti dari juimlah 21 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan 20 siswa yang tuntas,  maka penelitian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil atau hipotesis dapat dibuktikan.

Abstract

Dari uraian penelitian ini, maka rumusan masalah adalah “Bagaimanakah penerapan strategi SQ4R dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Bolano kabupaten Parigi Moutong dan apakah penerapan strategi SQ4R dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Bolano kabupaten Parigi Moutong? Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan strategi SQ4R pada pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN I Bolano Parigi Moutong dan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa mengenai kelogisan kalimat, ketepatan diksi, ketepatan struktur kalimat, dan pemahaman isi bacaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan secara bersiklus. Setiap siklus, penelitian ini terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu, 1) tahapan perencanaan, 2) tindakan, 3) pengamatan, dan 4) refleksi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pada siklus I aspek kelogisan kalimat nilai ketuntasan mencapai 30,43%, aspek ketepatan diksi 65,21%, aspek ketepatan struktur kalimat 65,21%, dan pada pemahaman isi teks bacaan yaitu 91,30%. Ada pun hasil siklus II, aspek kelogisan kalimat nilai ketuntasan mencapai 86,95%, aspek ketepatan diksi 73,91%, aspek ketepatan struktur kalimat 86,95% dan pada pemahaman isi teks bacaan yaitu 86,95%. Keempat aspek tersebut mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I tercatat persentase ketuntasan rata-rata 6,8 dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan dan persentase rata-rata ketuntasan menjadi  8,3. Berdasarkan KKM yang disyaratkan di sekolah SDN I Bolano yaitu 70, maka  seluruh siswa yang terdiri atas 23 orang dinyatakan tuntas.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is “how is the application of explicit instruction learning model on fast reading learning at grade VII students of SMP Negeri 20 Sigi?, How to improve students’ fast reading skill by applying explicit instruction model”?. The research results show that the application of explicit instruction model in fast reading were done in a phase, namely the orientation phase, percentage, guided training, and self-training. The research results in cycle i which has been done, the average reading speed of students 256.6, unterstanding the content of 57.2 percent with percentage of classical learning mastery was 40,9 percent. Refer to Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM) which apply in Indonesian languange learning at SMP Negeri 20 Sigi, the average value is 70 and classical learning achievenmt is 80 percent, The results of this research appears to have not reached the standard of mastery. The action of cycle II, students’ skill was improved. 22 students have shown the speed of reading of reading of 274.9 speed per minute (KPM) with understanding of the average content of 80.6. Refer to Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM) which apply in Indonesian languange learning at SMP Negeri 20 Sigi, the result has reached the standar of completeness. Therefore, based on the research results, it can be conclude thet with the application of explicit instruction learning model can improve fast reading skill at grade VII studebts of SMP Negeri 20 Sigi.

Abstract

This study describes the use of printed teaching material and audio visual learning in children's literature in elementary school. The problems studied are (1) How is the use of children's story teaching material as an alternative media for learning literature on children in class VI in SDN 13 Labuan? (2) How is the effectiveness of story teaching material for children as an alternative media on literature instructional on children in grade VI at SDN 13 Labuan?. The research aims to describe the use of teaching material and describe the effectiveness of children’s story teaching material as an alternative media on literature instructional on children in grade VI at SDN 13 Labuan. The method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection covering observation, interview, and written test. The data analysis was begun with data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The research findings show that the use of teaching materials as an alternative media on literature instructional is printed teaching material or local story book and audiovisual teaching material as an alternative are effective. Based on the evaluation, score number of audiovisual media use is 1462 with the average 86 and achieved 82.3% while the use of printed teaching material got score 1436 with the average 84 and achieved 76.4%. The results were obtained from 17 students at SDN 13 Labuan who all students stated passed as the satndard of minimum achievement criteria required in the school. Therefore, it can e concluded that the use of children’s story teaching material through printed teaching material and audiovisual teaching material as the alternative media on literature instructional of the children in grade VI at SDN 13 Labuan are effective to use especially on literature instructional of the children based on the results of the students’ outcomes who achieved minimum achievement criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode cooperative script dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan membaca puisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Sigi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan mengacu pada siklus pembelajaran yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis dan Taggart. Siklus tersebut terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Sigi. Data diperoleh peneliti melalui kuesioner dan hasil observasi keterampilan membaca puisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui metode cooperative script dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran membaca puisi, hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasil siklus I, diperoleh rata-rata 2,80 dengan persentase 70% dan siklus II diperoleh rata-rata3,14 dengan persentase 79%. Selanjutnya peningkatan hasil pembelajaran membaca puisi dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa yakni 72 pada siklus I yang meningkat dari kondisi awal dengan rata-rata 61,67 dan pada siklus II rata-rata meningkat menjadi 77,55 dengan KKM 75. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran membaca puisi dengan menggunakan metode cooperative script dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan materi membaca puisi.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is 1) whether speaking skill of the Fifth – Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata Improved after the aplication of audio – lingual method ? how is the step of the aplication of audio-lingual method in improving speaking skill of the Fifth- Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata ? This research intends to 1) improve speaking skill the Fifth- Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata, and 2) describe steps in the aplication of audio- lingual method in improving speaking skill of the Fifth-Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata. Subject of this clasroom action research was 16 students the Fifth-Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata. Data source was teachers and students Research design was conducted in four stages such as: pretreatment, treatment, observation, and reflection. Data were collected trough observation and test and were analyzed trough determining individual achievement criteria and classical also determining the average score of students. The result of this reserch reveals that Cycle I has not achieve KKM Of 75 with score total of 1090 and average 68.2, meanwhile Cycle II shows improvement in achieving KKM 75 with average score of 1430 and average 89.4. The achivement of KKM is 75, then the hypothesis of this research is accepted trough the application of audio-lingual method to improve speaking skill of the Fifth-Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata.

Abstract

This research have the purpose to improve ability and to explain the improvement of students study result at the tenth B grade students of SMAS GKST Palu used assure model. This research was classroom action research with the subject of the research was tenth B grade students of SMAS GKST Palu. This research have done in the two cycles, each of cycle used assure model. Result of this research showed that the using of assure model in writing exposition text. It seen at the improvement of the students ability in each cycle. Based on the assesment result of each action, it was obtained the average score of cycle I, there was the average score of students writing ability 72 (low) with the percentage of classical study completeness 58%, whereas at the cycle II, the average score of students writing ability 84 (High) with the percentage of classical study completeness 89%. This result showed that the using of assure model in writing exposition text was succes and have and it  can improve writing ability at the tenth B grade students of SMAS GKST Palu.

Abstract

Research are what is the form of interference Kailinese into Indonesian at General Election Commissions, Sigi regency? And what are the causes of interference Kailinese into Indonesian?. The type of research is qualitative by using descriptive method, recording technique, field notes, observation and interview. Data analysis technique used interactive analysis. The interference of Kailinesse into Indonesian in General Election Commissions involved form and factor causing interference. Researcher found the distribution of interfeence in the field of phonology, morphology, and syntax. Interference phonological forms found additional vocal phoneme /a/i/u/e/o/ at the end of the word, it called the language vocalist and busting phoneme /h/ at the beginning of the word and at the end of the word also have disappearance phoneme /k/p/t/n/ and replacement of the vocal phoneme /e/ to phoneme /a/ and phoneme /i/ to phoneme /e/ in the middle of the word. Inteference morphology include the prefix {mo-} compatible with prefix {ber-} in Indonesia, suffix {i-} compatible woth suffix {kan-} in Indonesian, whereas interference syntactic has found the use of clauses in sentences that deviate from the structure of Indonesian rule. Moreover, factors that affect the occurrence of interference, namely; (1) background speakers, (2) lack of vocabulary, (3) less skillful use of language, (4) the prestige of the source language, and (5) because of habits in the mother tongue.
