Abstract

Moral development is one of the developments that parents and teachers must pay attention to, because morals are one of the characteristics of personality. Children who have good morals, usually he also has a good personality, and vice versa, children who have bad morals, will be considered to have a bad personality as well. The research uses qualitative research methods. Qualitative researchers are interested in people's beliefs, experiences, and systems of meaning from people's perspectives. What is given by parents in the family, both in the form of guidance, education, and attention is one of the efforts that can shape the child's personality or the personality of students. In addition, there is also another way that can be used in shaping personality, namely habituation, which aims to instill the skills to do, say things correctly, and can be mastered by the child and has deep implications for personality formation at a later stage. Abstract

Membaca berpengaruh besar terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menerima materi pelajaran terutama pembelajaran berbasis teks, siswa yang tidak mampu membaca dengan baik akan mengalami kesulitan dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran semua mata pelajaran. Kemampuan membaca permulaan anak adalah kemampuan anak memahami teknik membaca dan memahami isi bacaan dengan baik. Salah satu metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak adalah dengan menggunakan media suku kata. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi literatur (library research). Kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak perlindungan pada enam tahapan aspek kemampuan yaitu: (1) Kemampuan membaca simbol, (2) Kemampuan membaca huruf, (3) Kemampuan membaca Jenis bunyi vokal dan konsonan, (4) Kemampuan menyebutkan bunyi huruf, (5)Kemampuan menyebutkan bunyi huruf membaca suku kata, dan (6) Kemampuan membaca kata. Media Kartu suku kata dapat membantu guru mencapai tujuan intruksional karena selain merupakan media yang murah dan mudah diperoleh, juga dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Selain itu, pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa menjadi lebih luas, jelas, dan tidak mudah dilupakan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the increase in the intellectual mathematical ability of fourth grade elementary school students by applying an open-ended learning approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 20 Pahambatan Balingka and involved 20 students as the research sample. Preliminary observations made at SD Negeri 20 Pahambatan Balingka showed that the students' mathematical ability in that class was low. One of the reasons for this low math ability may be due to the use of an inappropriate or ineffective learning approach. In order to answer this question, researchers conducted research using an open-ended learning approach. The data collected in this study includes students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the use of an open-ended learning approach has a positive effect on increasing students' intelligence in mathematics. By using this approach, students in class IV SD Negeri 20 Pahambatan Balingka experienced an increase in their math skills.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of parents in fostering learning motivation in elementary school children. The child in question is a child at elementary school age. Namely those aged 6.0 years to 12 years. Parents have a very important role in the education of their children, including as a motivator. In this case, parents must always encourage their children to have enthusiasm in learning, especially in studying at home as a support for successful achievement in school. The efforts that parents can make in increasing children's learning motivation include: 1) knowing the results, 2) giving prizes and punishments, 3) providing the tools or facilities needed. Parents as educators must always pay attention to the child's personal development as a determinant in the treatment of education in accordance with the period or age level and the child's thinking ability.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out the philosophical foundation system in applying sociological concepts in the basic education environment. The research method used in this research is literature study which relies on bibliographic sources from books and articles in scientific journals related to the subject matter, reading data with the thoughts of experts with a constructive and interpretive approach. The results of research from the results of a literature study to be able to carry out the Application of Sociological Concepts in Basic Education require careful preparation to run as the concept of education in carrying out its role which must have sociological foundational implications in education as well as self-development through a sociological basis which is also required to make the latest breakthroughs in the process of curriculum innovation or what is often known as curriculum revision in order to significantly adjust the philosophical foundations and accuracy in applying the sociological foundations in the basic education environment.

Abstract

The application of Jean Piaget's cognitive learning theory can assist students in obtaining and processing information received, both in life and in implementation in the learning process of mathematics, especially numeracy skills. However, based on the results of observations made while accompanying students in the teaching campus program 4, it was obtained an overview of the learning situation of students who had not been able to provide sufficient knowledge in mathematical numeration, high-class students still had not memorized multiplication, and a lack of student interest in learning so that in this study the researcher discussed how the application of learning theory according to the cognitive flow in learning mathematics on-campus teaching activities 4. This study used a qualitative research approach with a case study type of research. Results The application of learning theory according to the cognitive flow in the teaching campus program 4 obtained a success percentage of 80% in increasing students' multiplication abilities with an aspect ratio of 8 out of 10 students. Provision of additional learning has a success percentage of 70% in improving students' numeracy skills and spatial planning has a success percentage of 100% to provide a comfortable situation during the learning process. Success is obtained because in its implementation teaching campus students to provide treatment according to the developmental stage of the student's age according to suggestions cognitive aspect of learning theory according to Piaget

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of the application of word card stacking games on the language development of first grade elementary school children. The research population ieClass 1 SDN Gugus 01 Mekar Karya, Koto Salak District consists of 4 schools, and the sample of this study was students in class I SDN 01 Koto Salak (experimental class) and SDN 09 Koto Salak (control class). In collecting the required data, use observation instruments. interviews, and tests. The data processing technique uses a statistical test, namely the t-test using the SPSS version 16 application to test the hypothesis. The results of the hypothesis testing obtained significant value from the application of the card stacking game to the language development of grade I children where the sig. (0.000) < 0.05 then thus H0 rejected and H1 accepted, where is the influence of the Application of the Card Arrangement Game on the Language Development of Class I Elementary School Children. It can be concluded that the use of card stacking games in learning Indonesian is very helpful for teachers and can also increase students' vocabulary.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many teachers who teach their students only through thematic textbooks. This research aims to develop an Integrated Thematic learning Module Based on Problem-Based Learning that is valid, practical, and effective in improving the Critical Thinking Ability of Class V Students in Elementary school. The type of research used is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model. Based on the results of the development research carried out, the results obtained were that the validity of the module based on the lesson plan expert obtained an average of 100% (very valid), the material expert validator obtained a result of 91.6% (very valid), the result obtained by the language expert was 76% (valid), and the acquisition of media experts was 69.10% (quite valid). The practicality of the modules carried out by educators and students was carried out as a result of trials carried out on 20 students at SDN 127/II Sungai Arang, and SDN 197/II Pulau Pekan who obtained a total average of 93.83%, and 90.83%. or in the very practical category. The effectiveness of the module developed was carried out by comparing the critical thinking abilities of students who used the module (experimental group) with students who used school textbooks (control group). In the initial stage, both sample groups were given a pretest with the same level of questions. From the results of the analysis, the average for experimental class students was 25.00, and for control class students, the average was 96.90. This research concludes that the development of an integrated thematic learning module based on Problem-Based Learning to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in elementary schools is declared valid, practical, and effective

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, bimbingan dan konseling akademik secara daring menjadi solusi praktis dalam mendukung mahasiswa dalam mencapai kesuksesan akademik mahasiswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap bimbingan dan konseling akademik yang diberikan secara daring oleh dosen pembimbing akademik di Program Studi Teknik Listrik Universitas Negeri Padang. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan instrumen angket. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang cukup tinggi dari mahasiswa terhadap bimbingan dan konseling akademik yang dilakukan oleh dosen pembimbing akademik secara daring. Temuan dari penelitian ini memberikan pandangan yang berharga bagi perguruan tinggi dalam memahami kebutuhan mahasiswa terkait bimbingan dan konseling dalam era digital. Penelitian ini membuka peluang penelitian di masa yang akan datang untuk mengembangkan platform yang lebih interaktif dan user-friendly untuk mendukung bimbingan dan konseling akademik secara daring.
