Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of employee engagement and happiness on employee retention through the implementation of talent management strategies in the context of Business Management. The research method uses Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) using Smart-PLS software. The research population includes employees at PT ABC Cikaarang. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The research results show high reliability in the variable measurement tools used, especially employee uncertainty, employee retention, employee welfare, and talent management. Hypothesis analysis shows that there is a significant influence between employee retention, employee retention and talent management. However, it was found that the relationship between employee well-being and talent management was not significant. The implication is that increasing employee engagement and happiness can strengthen the relationship with employee retention and talent management, which will have a positive impact on human resource management in business organizations. These findings provide theoretical contributions regarding the dynamics of key human resource management variables, while providing practical guidance for organizational leaders.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dalam menggunakan Google Workspace for Education dalam proses pembelajaran. Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi menyebutkan Akun Belajar yang dapat diakses melalui www.belajar.id. Akun tersebut dapat digunakan oleh siswa, guru, dan anggota komunitas pendidikan lainnya untuk mengakses sumber belajar elektronik. Pentingnya teknologi dan literasi digital telah disorot oleh guru mengingat banyaknya sumber daya online yang digunakan untuk materi kelas. Pelatihan untuk membantu guru di SMAN 14 kota Jambi dalam memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah presentasi, diskusi interaktif, demonstrasi atau peragaan praktik, bimbingan, dan latihan. Tahapan pelatihan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan keberhasilan serta evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peserta memahami pentingnya penggunaan Google Workspace for Education dalam proses pembelajaran  antara guru dengan siswa sehingga diharapkan proses pembelajaran dapat dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and rewards on job satisfaction throughpunishment as an intervening variable. This research applies the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) - Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis technique using the Smart PLS Version 3 tool in processing data obtained through distributing questionnaires to 314 employees of PT Suka Sukaku. The results showed that punishment has no significant effect on job satisfaction, giving fair awards has a positive impact on employee job satisfaction, compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction, compensation has a significant effect on punishment, awards have a significant effect on job satisfaction, compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction through punishment and awards have a significant effect on job satisfaction through punishment
