Abstract

According to WHO, reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, not only free from disease or disability in all aspects related to the reproductive system, its functions and processes. Reproductive health is related to the cleanliness of the organs. Reproductive organs are very important to maintain cleanliness, it is also necessary to pay attention to how to maintain and care for them properly and correctly, especially in women. Women have reproductive systems that are sensitive to disease. Objective of This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge and the implementation of reproductive organ care in STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis S1 Nursing Study Program students. This type of research is an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study were second and third level students of the S1 Nursing Study Program at STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis. Samples were taken as many as 55 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The data collected consisted of primary data obtained through questionnaire sheets and direct observation and statistical analysis using Chi - Square.The results of the study: There is a relationship between knowledge and the implementation of reproductive organ care. With the Chi Square test, it can be concluded that the P Value of 0.007 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, which means that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and the implementation of reproductive organ care for undergraduate students of STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis.

Abstract

Introduction: Breast cancer is a condition where there is malignant tissue or tumor in the breast tissue which if not treated immediately will cause death. BSE is a method that can be done independently for early detection of breast cancer. Objective: The aim of this health education is to increase knowledge in early detection of breast cancer in women of reproductive age. Method: This community service was carried out at the Ministry of Religion of Ciamis Regency with participants from the Dharma Wanita Ministry of Religion of Ciamis Regency. The method used is the observational method, seminars and questions and answers that begin with conducting a survey to determine the location and targets. Then arrange materials, materials and training in the form of slides and papers to be presented to participants. Results: Implementation of this health education to Dharma Wanita women of the Ministry of Religion of Ciamis Regency as participants and carried out at the Religious Office of the Ministry of Religion of Ciamis Regency to increase women's knowledge and awareness in early detection of breast cancer. Conclusion: BSE health education in early detection of breast cancer conducted optimally.

Abstract

Introduction : HIV/AIDS is a contagious disease that can affect anyone. Prevention efforts promoted by the government are health education or socialization for the people of Indonesia. Objective: The purpose of this activity is to raise awareness about the dangers of HIV/AIDS through the game of snakes and ladders. Method: This study uses health education methods and the game of snakes and ladders in which each snake contains questions about HIV/AIDS. It was carried out with 4 students who were at MTS NU Ciamis with 28 students as respondents. Result: The result of this community service is that health counseling is carried out regarding increasing knowledge of the dangers of HIV/AIDS amoung 28 students of MTS NU Ciamis and there are differences in knowledge after counseling. Conclussion: Health education activities regarding the dangers of HIV/AIDS carried out to students at MTS NU Ciamis, can increase knowledge about the dangers of HIV/AIDS.

Abstract

Introductions: Cases of early marriage are now common in various parts of the world. This is of particular concern, considering the many risks that will arise in early marriage or forced marriage, pregnancy at a young age, sexual intercourse at an early age, namely: Sexually transmitted infections, the risk of complications that will occur during pregnancy or childbirth, so can increase maternal and infant mortality. Aims: This study aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge of young women and the risk of early marriage in the working area of the Ciamis Health Center. Methods: The research used a quantitative correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women and mothers who had given birth under the age of 20 in the working area of the UPTD Ciamis Health Center, Ciamis Regency, with as many as 30 respondents. the sample in this study uses Total Sampling. Results: Of the 30 respondents, 1 person had good knowledge (3.3%), 16 people had sufficient knowledge (53.3%) and 13 people had less knowledge (43.3%). out of 30 respondents, 26 people were not at risk of early marriage (86.7%) and as many as 4 were at risk of early marriage (13.3%). Conclusions: Based on the results of statistical tests using the Chi-Square test, a p-value of 0.632 was obtained, when compared to α (0.05), the p-value was more significant than the value of α (0.632 > 0.05), so Ho failed to be rejected, which means that there is no relationship between adolescent knowledge daughter with the risk of early marriage in the Working Area of the UPTD Puskesmas Ciamis.

Abstract

Objective: To present upbringing with deep breath intervention to reduce pain in patients with mild head injuries. Methods: The method used is descriptive with a case study approach using nursing care that refers to the SDKI and SIKI books. The subjects in this study were 1 patient with a nursing diagnosis of acute pain in a patient with a minor head injury at the orchid room of the Banjar City Hospital. With data collection techniques include interviews, observations, physical examinations and documentation studies. Results: From nursing care in patients with chronic renal failure, the symptom that appears at the time of the assessment is pain. The nursing problem that arises is that acute pain is related to physical injury agents referring to the SDKI book. The intervention carried out to reduce pain is by deep breath relaxation techniques. During the intervention process, the action went smoothly until the evaluation. There are changes in pain. Conclusion: After deep breath intervention there was a change in pain from a scale of 5 to 2 (0-10), while the results of anamnesis obtained subjective data, the client said the pain was reduced.

Abstract

Seseorang dikatakan hipertensi bila memiliki tekanan darah sistolik >140 mmHg atau tekanan darah diastolik >90 mmHg, pada pemeriksaan yang berulang. Salah satu upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian hipertensi adalah dengan cara rutin mengecek tekanan darah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyrakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan kader mengenai hipertensi, juga menambah kemampuan kader dalam pengukuran tekanan darah. Metode: identifikasi jumlah kader dan mengumpulkan kader yang diperlukan, identifikasi pengetahuan kader dengan pre-test, edukasi dengan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab, pelatihan penggunaan alat pengukuran tekanan darah, evaluasi dengan memberikan post-test dan mengamati kegiatan. Hasil: Kader yang mengikuti kegiatan berjumlah 8 orang, rata-rata pengetahuan kader sebelum dilakukan edukasi adalah pengetahuan cukup dan rata-rata pengetahuan kader setelah dilakukan edukasi adalah pengetahuan baik. Kesimpulan: Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan kader mengenai hipertensi, dan kader menjadi bisa menggunakan alat pengukuran tekanan darah.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between discomfort in pregnancy and the physical activity of third-trimester pregnant women. Methods: quantitative analytic survey with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study was 23 third-trimester pregnant women in Banjaranyar Village. Sampling in this study used a total sample of 23 respondents. Results showed that the age of the majority of respondents was reproductive age (20-35 years), 56.5%, and most respondents had low education, namely 16 respondents, for a total of 69.6%. The frequency of parity of the majority of respondents is primipara, namely having given birth. There are as many as 10 respondents, for a total of 43.5%. Of the 23 respondents, the frequency of pregnant women feeling discomfort was 21 respondents (91.3%), pregnant women did light activities as many as 18 respondents (78.3%). Conclusions: There is a relationship between discomfort in pregnancy and the physical activity of pregnant women in Banjaranyar Village, Banjaranyar District.

Abstract

Introduction: Cervical cancer ranks first after breast cancer in developing countries, the only one being Indonesia. Cervical cancer is a sexually transmitted disease that originates from an infectious virus, namely the human papilloma virus, which triggers changes in the behaviour of cervical epithelial cells. Reproductive health problems faced by women today are increasing infections in the reproductive organs, eventually causing cancer. The prevalence of women with cervical cancer is high due to their tendency to marry at a young age and their limited economic capacity, which limits their access to information. Provision of health education through Zoom meetings, considering the limitations due to the pandemic, really needs to be done for adolescents as a preventive effort considering that teenagers are very vulnerable to having free sex. Objective: The effect of education through a zoom meeting on cervical cancer on the knowledge of young women in SMA Negeri 1 Lumbung in March 2022. The research used is a quantitative study. Method: The research used is a quantitative study. A tool for data collection using a questionnaire while the total sampling technique with a sample of 40 students. Result: The results of data analysis using a t-test on the effect of education through zoom meetings on cervical cancer obtained a significant value because the value of t count > t table = 15,627 > 2,023 and the value of > p value = 0.05 > 0.000. Conclusion: From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of health education between before being given health education and after being given health education.

Abstract

With the increasing prevalence of diabetes mellitus, patient self-management education is an important concern. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of community-based self-management education on blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. Method this study used a quasi-experimental design through a group pre-test and post-test design. The sampling technique was through convenience sampling, which amounted to 31 respondents. Data analysis includes univariate analysis, namely analysis of demographic data, and bivariate analysis to determine the effect of self-management education on lowering blood glucose levels using paired sample t-test. The results of the paired simple t-test with p-value <0.05 showed that there was a significant effect of self-management education on reducing blood glucose levels, knowledge level, behavior, visits to health facilities and medication adherence. However, there was no effect of self-management education on BMI. Conclusion Community-based self-management education has a significant effect on reducing blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus in the Ciamis Health Center working area.
