Abstract

Patrimony science or faraid is a branch of science in Islamic law that discusses the ins and outs of the division of the estate based on descent in the family hierarchy. All the rules of calculation derived from the Qur'an and are discussed in the book devoted to the science of inheritance. It’s now widely available software that can be used as a tool for the calculation of the distribution of the estate so that it can be used by a layman though. The software is currently still used as a form-like based interface.Natural Language Processing or NLP is a branch of Artificial Intelligence or AI that allows the computers to understand natural language  similar to those used by humans. While still on the use of written language, NLP has allowed the interaction between humans and computers can be done with natural language, no longer use the mediation form or the like. With the use of NLP can be made an heir by the name of counter application NL-Faraid (Natural-languaged Faraid) using natural language as a medium of inter-face.The results showed this application can be used to calculate the distribution of the estate. Abstract

The Lagrange method is a method used to solve complex mechanical problems by utilizing kinetic and potential energy. This research examines the application of the Lagrange method to rigid body systems, where the position and orientation of the body are determined by general coordinates. This article uses a literature study approach from various relevant sources. The research results show that the Lagrange method is effective in solving mechanical problems in rigid body systems that cannot be solved using Newton's method.

Abstract

Pendidkan adalah hal penting karena bisa meningkatkan kualitas pada sumber daya manusia. Proses menempuh pendidikan yang cukup dikenal ada dua, yaitu proses dalam kegiatan kulikuler dan proses dalam kegiatan ekstrakulikuler. Kedua proses tersebut mampu membuat sumber daya manusia lebih meningkat dan memudahkan kita dalam mengenali potensi minat dan bakat yang ada dalam diri kita. Penelitian yang sedang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan antara perolehan prestasi pada mahasiswa fisika dan mahasiswa pendidikan fisika di Departemen Fisika Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dimana datanya akan dianalisis menggunkan Uji Independent T-test. Sempel sasaran adalah perolehan data mahasiswa tahun 2020, 2022, dan 2023. Dengan jumlah data yang diperoleh 49 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika dan 36 mahasiswa fisika Uji T yang digunakan adalah independent t-test untuk membuktikan data yang digunakan yaitu normal dan homogen. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak artinya tidak perbedaan prestasi yang diperoleh pada data tahun 2020, 2022, dan 2023 antara mahasiswa fisika dengan mahasiswa pendidika fisika.

Abstract

The success of a learning is influenced by several factors. Media and learning models are important factors in supporting learning success. This study aims to develop physics learning applications, especially in light diffraction materials that are suitable for use by high school students based on active learning type Index Card Match (ICM) to improve student learning outcomes especially in the post-covid-19 pandemic era. By using learning media in the form of applications and active learning models, learning can take place effectively and conducively so that student learning outcomes can increase. The method used is a 4D model, but only up to the development stage. The feasibility of this blueprint application was tested using a questionnaire that has 10 questions with 6 indicators and involves 24 students from several universities in Indonesia who are studying physics. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using the interval success method and then categorized into 4 Assessment Scales. The results showed that the learning application developed is very feasible to use on all indicators that got 4.095 on average final score. This blueprint application can be developed into applications that are ready for use by students and applications that can be developed at the material and other levels. Abstract

This study aims to map the understanding of geometrical optics concepts for physics teacher candidates using the Quizizz application. The type of research used is experimental research. The sample used in this study was 30 students majoring in physics education at Yogyakarta State University as a control class. The research method used is the questionnaire method. Instruments used in the form of multiple-choice questions. Data obtained were analyzed by CRI (Certainty of Response Index) techniques and inferential statistics (Test-t). The results of the study are described that the highest misconception using Quizizz is in the number 6 questions with the indicator of the shadow properties produced by microscope, whereas without using Quizizz there are questions number 5 with a magnification indicator on the lup. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is no prescription the level of understanding of the concept of students when using Quizizz and without Quizizz.Keywords: misconceptions, students, geometry optics, Quizizz

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan tingkat multirepresentasi siswa pendidikan fisika calon guru pada materi interferensi baik siswa S1 putra maupun putri. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 24 mahasiswa S1 jurusan pendidikan fisika sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa soal pilihan ganda dan soal isian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal pilihan ganda dan isian guestions yang terdiri dari representasi verbal, gambar, dan matematika. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis CRI (Certainty of Response Indeks) dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat multirepresentasi pada mahasiswa S1 putra dan putri calon guru fisika pada topik interferensi.Kata kunci: Multirepresentasi, Interferensi, Kategori Representasi.

Abstract

Learning media is a very important component in the teaching and learning process. The use of learning media must be the main point that is considered by the facilitator so that there is good, effective, efficient and fun interaction with students. Lagrange mechanics material is quite difficult for students to understand so it is necessary to develop different learning media. This research aims to create learning media in the form of interactive powerpoints based on PBL (Problem Based Learning) to support the understanding of physics students about Langrange Mechanics. This research uses the Research and Development (R & D) method with the main stages carried out are define, design, development, and disseminate with a 4D model. Data collection technique by providing a validation sheet to one of the expert lecturers and fourth semester students of the Department of Physics Education, Yogyakarta State University. The feasibility of interactive powerpoint based on PBL (Problem Based Learning) on Lagrange Mechanics material from four aspects, namely material, method & model, quality of media display and attractiveness got an average of 3.37 with a very decent category. Learning media in the form of interactive powerpoints based on PBL (Problem Based Learning) on Lagrange Mechanics material is an alternative in supporting the understanding of physics students. PBL (Problem Based Learning) based Powerpoint helps in solving problems in life so that it can improve the quality of learning and active involvement of students.

Abstract

Wahana kora-kora adalah salah satu wahana permainan dalam pemanfaatannya menerapkan konsep fisika yang termasuk ke dalam kajian etnofisika. Etnofisika adalah suatu hal yang memiliki kaitan antara budaya dengan konsep fisika. Gerak harmonik sederhana adalah gerakan bolak balik secara teratur melalui analisis titik sudut keseimbangan pada wahana kora-kora. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gerak harmonik sederhana yang dilihat dari kecepatan dan simpangan sudut pada 3 titik dengan metode analisis tracker untuk mengetahui titik aman kora-kora dari 3 titik yang telah ditentukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis metode kuantitatif secara observasi dan pendekatan etnofisika. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah metode baru dalam menganalisis hasil praktikum dari gerak harmonik sederhana dan dapat digunakan sebagai alternative praktikum secara digital menggunakan aplikasi tracker. Hasil dari penelitian ini meliputi posisi kora-kora pada titik ke-1 memiliki nilai sebesar 12,68 yang terlalu tinggi jika diaplikasikan pada ayunan wahana kora-kora, sedangkan posisi kora-kora pada titik ke-35 yaitu sebesar 3,30 menunjukkan posisi yang terlalu rendah atau kembali ke posisi awal sebelum wahana kora-kora berayun, sehingga titik teraman untuk wahana kora-kora berada di titik ke-20 yang memiliki nilai sebesar 9,93.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapakah kecepatan yang dianjurkan untuk mengendarai Kapal Gili Cat II dan apa yang terjadi ketika Kapal Gili Cat II dikendarai dengan kecepatan atau laju di atas batas yang dianjurkan serta mengetahui massa maximum yang dapat dibawa oleh Kapal Gili Cat II dan mengetahui hubungan dari massa terhadap kecepatan kapal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kualitatif dokumen. Hasil dari studi kasus yang telah dilakukan bahwa kecepatan yang dianjurkan untuk mengendarai Kapal Gili CAT II sekitar 20-25 knot. Jika kapal dikendarai dengan kecepatan melebihi batas maksimum maka risiko kecelakan dan kerusakan pada mesin akan besar terjadi. Kapal Gili Cat II ini hanya dapat membawa 35 orang penumpang dan 4 awak kapal dengan massa maximum yang dapat dibawa sekitar 2 ton. Dapat dijelaskan hubungan massa dan kecepatan dalam hukum Newton 2 dimana massa mempengaruhi besar nilai kecepatan sehingga semakin besar massa maka kecepatan akan semakin besar. Kata kunci: Hukum Newton 2, Kecepatan, Massa Analysis of the Gili Cat II Ship Accident Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out what the recommended speed is for driving the Gili Cat II Ship and what happens when the Gili Cat II Ship is driven at a speed above the recommended limit and to find out the maximum mass that can be carried by the Gili Cat II Ship and find out relationship between mass and speed of the ship. The method used in this research is document qualitative method.The results of the case studies that have been conducted show that the recommended speed for driving the Gili CAT II Ship is around 20-25 knots. If the ship is driven at a speed exceeding the maximum limit, the risk of accidents and damage to the engine will be great. This Gili Cat II ship can only carry 35 passengers and 4 crew members with a maximum mass that can be carried around 2 tons. The relationship between mass and velocity can be explained in Newton's 2nd law where mass affects the value of velocity so that the greater the mass, the greater the speed. Abstract

The development of technology and information has brought various impacts in human life. Especially for the younger generation who were born and grew up in the development of technology. The reading ability of the internet generation (net generation) needs to be directed towards an understanding of digital information and the utilization of various digital media platforms. Digital literacy is a person's ability or skill to understand and use information from various digital sources. The purpose of writing this article is to see the challenges faced and how people should respond to hoax news in digital media with the ease and speed of internet access and the uncontrolled use of social media so that it is difficult for us to find the truth when we have the inability to choose and sort information, so that we can become a true generation that is not only able to face the changes and developments of the times. The method used in writing this article is the literature review method by using literature in the form of books, journals, notes, or reports on previous research results. Training and socialization efforts such as digital literacy seminars and door to door digital literacy are expected to help the younger generation and society as a whole become wiser in dealing with digital information, avoid hoaxes, and make positive use of technology.
