Abstract

In this research was developed the problem-based instruction model-oriented Natural Science instruction instrument. Therefore, this research used the developmental research design. The instruction instrument developed was involving the Instruction Implementation Plan (RPP), Student teaching material, Student Activity Sheet (LKS), and Learning Outcome Test (THB). Instruction instrument development referred to the stages of Four D model-based instruction instrument development. The instruction instrument was tried out to the 41 grade students of the UNESA Laboratory Elementary School of Ketintang with subjects as many as 15 students (class IVB) in try-out 1 and 28 students in try-out 2. This research had the purpose to know the quality of instruction instrument development results and to know the try-out results of problem-based instruction-oriented instruction instrument. Try-out design used was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Based on the data analysis results of the try-out 1 and try-out 2 research results known that the developed instruction instrument has had the good quality and reasonable to use. This case was based on the instruction instrument validity was good and have been reasonable to use as the instruction instrument because of it has already met with validity standard established by the Educational National Standard Agency/BSNP. Beside that, also based on the student teaching material difficulty level and the students teaching material readability with the easy to comprehend criteria. The sensitivity of positive valued item and the instrument average reliability were above 75%. The effective instruction instrument try-out supported the teaching learning activity based on the instruction management average of good and very good categories. The whole syntaxes of problem-based instruction were 100% implemented. Student activities during the teaching learning activity showed that the students learned active. Students' responses to the problem-based instruction-oriented instruction instrument were positive. Likewise with the results of cognitive learning and the students learning process showing the individual and classical completeness as large as 100%. Of the instruction instrument development results, the results of try-out 1 and try-out 2 showed that the quality of problem based instruction instrument developed was good and have met the worthiness as the instruction instrument in the Natural Science subject matter of 4th grade of Elementary School on the natural resources topic. This problem based instruction instrument developed could be said as effective to support the teaching learning activity.

Abstract

Guru harus melakukan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran secara terus menerus agar prestasi belajar peserta didik optimal. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut guru harus dibekali dengan kemampuan meneliti, khususnya Classroom Based Action Research.Sebagian besar guru SD di mitra Kecamatan Sidayu merasa kesulitan dalam membuat laporanClassroom Based Action Research. PKM ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pemahaman guru SD tentang pelaporanClassroom Based Action Research; (2) meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam pelaporan Classroom Based Action Research. Mitra PKM ini adalah guru-guru di SD di mitra Kecamatan Sidayu. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) dilaksanakan secara daring. Kegiatan pengabdian secara keseluruhan dapat dinilai cukup baik, dilihat dari keberhasilan target jumlah peserta pelatihan dinilai cukup baik, ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan dinilai kurang baik, ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan dinilai baik, dan kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi dinilai baik.Kata kunci:Classroom Based Action Research, pelaporan

Abstract

The competence of elementary school teachers in the preparation of a minimum numeracy completeness assessment needs to be a concern. Most of the teachers at SDN Sumur Welut III Surabaya, the teachers do not have experience in preparing numeration questions. The purpose of this community service is to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in compiling a minimum numeracy completeness assessment instrument. The intended target is the teacher of SDN Sumur Welut III Surabaya. This activity is carried out in the form of training and workshops, starting with material presentations, discussions, and workshops with lecturer assistance during group work. The results of the activity show that: (1) there is an increase in the understanding and skills of teachers in compiling the minimum numeracy completeness assessment instrument; (2) The participant's response showed a positive response

Abstract

Spatial thinking is a skill to remember, operate, manipulate, predict, combine, interpret, transform, explore an object to solve problems in various life contexts. Spatial thinking requires three related components, namely: the concept of space, spatial representation methods, and spatial reasoning. The difficulty of students for representing ideas encourages researchers to observe the spatial reasoning of elementary teacher training program’s student. Visual learning style is closely related to exact mathematical soul. Therefore, this study focuses on describing elementary teacher training program’ student’s visual learning style. The subjects of this research are students of class 2019 A and 2019 B as many as 70 elementary teacher training program’s student who are taking elementary school mathematics learning courses at a University in Surabaya and have been grouped into high, medium groups. and below. Medium group elementary teacher training program’s student were selected to be given a learning style test, which then described their spatial reasoning. The purpose of this study was to describe the reasoning of elementary teacher training program student’s visual learning style. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Researchers used written test, geometry problem-solving questions, and interviews to explore in-depth information on students who are elementary teacher training program’s student of visual learning style. There are 40 students in the medium group with details of 10 students with visual learning style, 30 students with auditory learning style and 10 students with kinesthetic learning style. The group of students who are elementary teacher training program student’s visual learning style are analyzed for their spatial reasoning based on the results of written tests and interviews. The results showed that the visual learning style student’s group tended to work sequentially and neatly meeting the criteria for spatial reasoning indicators. Visual learning style of elementary teacher training program’s student (KSV) could describe their spatial reasoning through the process of categorizing, generalizing, synthesizing, evaluating, define, combine, and represent in solving geometric problems. One of the main characteristics of visual learning styles appears when they manipulate objects and illustrate with sketches. They carry out the work process in detail and detail, and represent through pictures or visuals

Abstract

The problem faced in this study is how the activity of the technological capabilities of teachers and students in the TPACK approach of elementary school. The purpose of this research is to analyze the technological capabilities of teachers and students in learning with the approach of TPACK. This type of research is qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are teachers and Students of elementary school. Data collection techniques use observations, interviews and documentation. The results of teacher technology capability activities such as learning using software in the form of: Blog, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.), the ability to operate technology, learn technology, integrate technology, and use software conference is categorized enough. Teachers still don't meet all categories. While the results of student activities such as learning using software in the form of: Blog, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.), the ability to operate technology, learn technology, integrate technology, and use conference software is categorized very well. Because students almost all meet the category.

Abstract

An educator must be able to manage learning that allows students to hone their skills in the 21st century. The abilities that can be developed in the learning process are critical thinking, creative and visual literacy skills. These abilities can be developed through learning with the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) model which is reflected in each learning stage. This study aims to determine the correlation and contribution of critical thinking, creative and visual literacy skills to learning outcomes through the application of the TPS learning model. This research is a correlational quantitative study with the research sample of fourth grade students at SDN Ketabang Surabaya, using the Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques used critical thinking, creative, visual literacy and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of data analysis can be concluded that there is a simultaneous (together) correlation between critical thinking (X1), creative (X2), and visual literacy (X3) variables on student learning outcomes (Y) significantly at r = 0.362. the contribution given by the three independent variables to the variable (Y) is 13.10%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the role of the family in accompanying children to learn by paying attention to aspects of learning behavior, namely psychomotor, affective, cognitive students. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the role of families, especially parents, is to accompany children to learn when learning is done online. With the research title, the role of the family in accompanying children to study in grade 1 students at RT 05 Dukuh Kupang Gang XV Surabaya. Based on the results of the validity of observation data, interviews and questionnaires/questionnaires on the role of the family in accompanying children to study at RT 05 Dukuh Kupang Gang XV Surabaya with "very good" psychomotor, affective and cognitive learning behavior. From a comparison of the three data collection techniques, namely the results of unstructured observations, the researcher saw firsthand the activities of the family's role when accompanying children was very good, the researcher continued with an unstructured interview by asking several questions, the results of the interview were very good, the informant was very honest and open to researchers, followed by filling out a questionnaire / questionnaire that researchers have presented with excellent results.Keywords: Role of Family, aspects of learning behavior.

Abstract

The researcher conducted a study to determine the effectiveness of the PBL model assisted by digital modules on the numeracy of elementary school teacher candidates. Numeracy is needed to face the challenges of the future. However, there are many prospective elementary school teachers whose numeracy is still low. The application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by digital modules can be used to improve numeracy. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the PBL model assisted by digital modules on numeration. This research is a quantitative experiment on students of PGSD University PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. The method used is a test. The instrument is a valid and reliable enumeration test. The study results stated that the PBL model assisted by a digital module was effective for numeracy. The effectiveness is shown from the results of the numeracy test.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aim to know effectivity implementation of problem based learning. Effectivity of problem based learning applied on related set material with the relation of two sets and set operations. This research use qualitative research with research subjects the student of 2019-A PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. The source of the data that used in this study come from students who followed the study with data collection techniques through by test consist of writing test and non test. Non test data obtained by researchers through: observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation during implementation of problem based learning. Researcher use triangulation method as validity and data analysis which is obtained. The result of this research illustrate implementation of problem based learning can be done well for set material on the students of PGSD UNIPA Surabaya 2019-A. This matter know from learning target achievement that implementation of syntax on problem based learning as much 87,15% students have good attitude competencies during problem based learning. And also punctuality in implementation of problem based learning according to the specified learning time allocation on research contract before the process implementation problem based learning bagins. Beside that, acquisition of the effectiveness of the achievement activity the students learning give possitive effect as much 77,89% students have high learning activity, and students have get above average value as much 83,32%. Keyword : problem based learning, set, learning process, learning achievement.

Abstract

Masa pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan mahasiswa tetap kuliah dari rumah. Online learning dapat dijadikan alternatif solusi untuk tetap melaksanakan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran matematika di PGSD, Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya melalui online learning. Kriteria efektif dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimum dan respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran dalam kategori positif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan tes dan angket. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah dianalisis menggunakan uji proporsi pihak kanan. Data observasi aktivitas dan respon mahasiswa dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika melalui online learning efektif dilaksanakan di tengah pandemi covid-19. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimum dan respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran dalam kategori positif. Kendala yang sering terjadi adalah signal internet yang tidak selalu baik, beberapa mahasiswa kesulitan belajar mandiri dan diskusi kelompok. Seharusnya seorang dosen harus mempersiapkan perangkat pembelajaran online learning dengan baik sehingga hasilnyapun akan maksimal.
