Abstract

Recently, the development of nanoparticle nickel oxide has increased due to their potential application such as biosensors, catalysts, solar cells, supercapacitors, and batteries. In this work, the addition of CTAB for nickel oxide nanoparticle synthesis using electrolysis was investigated.  The nickel plates were used as anode and cathode in the electrolysis process. The process was operated at a constant voltage of 60 V for 30 minutes. The XRD result showed conformity with the Nickel oxide diffraction pattern. Meanwhile, the impurity from nickel hydroxide peaks still appeared. From FTIR characterization also indicates the band of Ni-O stretching vibration. The morphology characterization of nickel oxide using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) showed the nanotube structure, while Transmission Electron Microscopy showed the nanoparticle size from 250.44 to 325.60 nm in length. On the other hand, the transformation of Ni(OH)2 to NiO has been shown using TGA characterization.

Abstract

AbstractThe Indonesian government launched an online learning program in the education area to break the chainof the coronavirus (covid-19) spreading. But, online learning requires more facilities such as internet access and smartphone/notebook which is not all equipped in rural areas. Therefore, this research has aimed to know the situation of the online learning process in rural areas during the co-19 pandemic. The research was conducted in Purwosari sub-district, Bojonegoro district, East Java with 53 of elementary school teachers as the participant. Online questionnaires that consist of 5 statements were used to collect the data. This research showed that the Whatsapp group was the famous platform for online learning. Besides that, the teachers have been facilitated by the school in online learning. On the other hand, internet access, learning innovation, and students’ facilities for online learning become obstacles in online learning in rural areas.Keywords:covid-19; learning process; elementary school; rural area

Abstract

TRAINING ON CLASSROOM BASED ACTION RESEARCH PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS. Classroom Based Action Research is a demand for elementary school teachers. Most teachers find it difficult to plan classroom action research. The PKM aims to: (1) improve the understanding of SDN Gayungan 2 teachers about planning; (2) increase the ability of teachers in planning. These PKM partners are teachers at Sidayu district. The method used in the service activities is the lecture and demonstration methods. Overall service activities can be judged to be quite good, seen from the success of the target number of trainees considered to be quite good, the achievement of training objectives is considered not good, the achievement of planned material targets is considered good, and the ability of participants in mastering the material is considered good.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a product of picture story teaching materials containing religious values. The aim is to determine the validity and practicality. The existing problems are the lack of available learning resources in schools, teaching materials in schools are not fully available, student achievement is still low. This study uses the ADDIE development model, the stages are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. the results of the validation of 3 validators obtained an average result of 0.875 with the category "High validation". (2) The practicality of picture story teaching materials containing religious values obtained an average percentage of 95.5% in the "very feasible" category from the teacher's response and student responses obtained a percentage of 93.3% with the "very feasible" category. Based on these results, illustrated story teaching materials containing religious values can be said to be valid and practical to improve the learning achievement of 1st-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

In the flipped classroom, students must have independent learning behavior to achieve optimal competence. However, the reality is that students' independence in learning is not good, so a teacher is supposed to carry out knowledge that can facilitate the formation of student learning independence. One of the lessons that can increase students' learning independence is the Flipped Classroom model with the help of interactive e-books. This study aims to conduct a literature review on the importance of improving student learning independence through the Flipped Classroom model based on Interactive e-books. The SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method was chosen in this study. Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing all articles on learning independence that had similar research in this report. A total of 15 journal articles obtained from Google Scholar with the help of the publish and perish application were used in this study. Based on the literature review, it can be concluded that increasing the ability to learn independently is needed by students in learning, especially in online education with the interactive e-book-based flipped classroom model. Independent learning has a positive influence on students in education.

Abstract

Augmented Reality or AR is a technology that achieves real-time integration of digital computer-generated content with the real world. This media is suitable for use in learning because it can display a concrete form of a phenomenon that will make the learning process that was originally boring become more interesting. But unfortunately, not all teachers can make applications. Therefore, in this community service, training and assistance in making augmented reality applications is provided for elementary school teachers in the village of Packagingtani - Mojokerto. From the results of this community service, it was shown that many participants felt that this training was very helpful for them to be more familiar with how to make augmented reality-based applications (84%). Abstrak Augmented Reality atau AR adalah teknologi yang memperoleh penggabungan secara real-time terhadap digital konten yang dibuat oleh komputer dengan dunia nyata. Media ini cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena dapat menampilkan bentuk konkret dari sebuah fenomena akan membuat proses pembelajaran yang semula membosankan menjadi lebih menarik. Namun sayangnya, tidak semua guru dapat membuat aplikasi. Oleh sebab itu, dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan aplikasi augmented reality pada guru-guru sekolah dasar di Desa Kemasantani – Mojokerto. Dari hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditunjukkan bahwa banyak peserta yang merasa pelatihan ini sangat membantu mereka untuk lebih mengenal cara pembuatan aplikasi berbasis augmented reality (84%).

Abstract

This preliminary research was conducted to find information on learning media that teachers and students want in online learning. The qualitative descriptive research method is applied in this study. The study was conducted in August 2021. The study was conducted in an elementary school in both urban and rural areas. A total of 105 people were interviewed at the school, including teachers and students. The data collection technique was carried out through a survey using a google questionnaire form which was divided into 2 forms, namely forms for teachers and students. The findings of the teacher survey indicate that learning media is needed to provide students with a realistic picture of phenomena in online learning. By providing interactive learning media, students feel it will be easier to understand the material than just being explained or given assignments. On the other hand, the results of student questionnaires also indicate that they want learning media in the online learning process. learning media that can convey the topic so that students can see the phenomenon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan komik elektronik sistem peredaran darah manusia yang terintegrasi augmented reality dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development yang menghasilkan media pembelajaran menarik minat belajar. Kemudian produk diuji coba dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dalam bentuk nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Validasi produk melibatkan ahli materi, bahasa, media serta validasi kelayakan produk. Uji keterbacaan peserta didik melalui uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Subyek penelitian yaitu kelas V SDN Manggarai 09 Jakarta Selatan yang terbagi dalam dua sampel, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media komik elektronik sistem peredaran darah terintegrasi augmented reality dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Implikasi studi ini untuk praktik pembelajaran sistem peredaran darah manusia dengan pemanfaatan media komik elektronik yang terintegrasi augmented reality untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode problem-solving terhadap keaktifan calon guru Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimental dengan desain faktorial 2x2 dimana kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode problem-solving dan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah. Data untuk penelitian ini dikumpulkan dalam 2 cara, data diperoleh dengan lembar pengamatan kegiatan belajar dan tes kemampuan kognitif siswa. Dari data tersebut, terlihat bahwa metode problem-solving dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, terutama dalam pembelajaran fisika. Selain itu, interaksi antara masing-masing variabel dicari menggunakan uji Analisis Varians (ANOVA). Dari hasil tes menunjukan bahwa hipotesis pertama ditolak yang menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan efek antara metode pembelajaran pada kemampuan kognitif siswa. Hipotesis kedua juga ditolak yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan efek antara kategori kegiatan belajar siswa pada kemampuan kognitif siswa. Di sisi lain, hipotesis ketiga diterima yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada interaksi antara penggunaan metode pembelajaran dan kegiatan belajar siswa pada kemampuan kognitif siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran struktural analitik sintetik terhadap kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Sembungharjo 02. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan 2 buah uji hipotesis yakni, uji t berpasangan, dan uji beda rata-rata kemampuan menulis permulaan. Dari analisis data diperoleh bahwa uji hipotesis kemampuan menulis permulaan berupa yang pertama uji t berpasangan pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh thitung -15,45 dan ttabel 2,0518 dengan kriteria thitung ≤ -ttabel maka Ho diterima. Sedangkan untuk kemampuan menulis permulaan di kelas kontrol diperoleh thitung -4,16 dan dan ttabel 2,0518 dengan kriteria thitung ≤ -ttabel maka Ho diterima. Uji t dua pihak berdasarkan perhitungan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata kemampuan menulis permulaan diperoleh thitung 3.065 dan ttabel 2.0211. dengan kriteria pengujian yang berlaku adalah Ho diterima jika -ttabel ≤ thitung ≤ ttabel karena perolehan nilai t hitung 3.065 berada pada area penolakan Ho yaitu -2.0211 ≤ 3.065 ≥ 2.0211 maka Ho ditolak yang dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh metode struktural analitik sitentik terhadap kemampuan menulis permulaan.
