Abstract

This studied aimed to develop an integrity character education manual based on traditional games for children aged 7-9 years. The researched method used was development researched (RnD) ADDIE type. The results of the studied showed that, 1) the integrity character education manual based on traditional games for children aged 7-9 years was developed used the ADDIE step, 2) The overall quality of the manual obtained a score of 3.82 (scale 1-4) with the qualification "Very Good". good '' with the recommendation “No needed for revision”, and 3) The application of the guidebook had an effect on fostering the character of integrity. The results of the significance test used paired samples t-test indicates the initial self-assessment score (M =2,1167, SE =0,07923) lowered than the final self-assessment score (M = 3,7833, SE =0,06009). Significance test results t(5) = 18.137, p = 0.000 (p <0.05) with an effect size of r = 0.99 which was classified as a “large effect” qualification which is equivalent to 98.50%. Based on the results of the N-Gain Score analysis, this guidebook received a score of 88.48% which is classified in the "High" effectiveness category.

Abstract

This traditional game is a culture that is almost extinct. This research aims to develop a traditional game module to cultivate respect for children aged 6-8 years. The research method used is research and development (R&D) type ADDIE. The result showed. 1) The traditional game module was developed based on the steps in the ADDIE method, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. 2) The validation show score 3,80 on a scale 1 to 4 with the quality results of the traditional game modules very well and recommendation without any improvement. 3) The application of traditional game module affects the respect character of children. The significance test showed t = 5,534 and p < 0.05. The amount of influence is r = 0.93 or equivalent to 85.97% (large effect). It means that the application of traditional game modules affected changes in children’s respect by 85,97%. The traditional game module showed high effectiveness with a score of  79.16% as evidenced by the N-gain score.

Abstract

Moral decadence that occurs in the scope of schools, such as bullying, cheating, plagiarism, corruption, and so on, shows the lack of integrity in school-age children. Awareness of integrity needs to develop from an early age. This study aims to create a traditional game-based integrity character education guidebook and determine the quality and effect of its application on the integrity character of children aged 10-12 years. This research was conducted using the ADDIE-type Research and Development (R&D) method. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to identify and describe the impact's significance, magnitude, and effectiveness of the implementation. The researchers involved ten students of SD Negeri Jonggrangan at Jonggrangan, Sendangmulyo, Minggir, Sleman as research subjects. The results of research and development of a traditional game-based integrity character education guidebook based on the five steps of ADDIE show (1) the guidebook consider to have "Very good" quality and recommendation "no need to be revised" by nine validators, (2) the application of the guidebook shows results which is significant, has a "big effect" based on the Pearson correlation test and has "high" effectiveness based on the results of the N-gain score test. This study concludes that a traditional game-based integrity character guidebook for children aged 10-12 years was developed based on the ADDIE type research stage, has a "Very good" quality and its application has an effect on the integrity character of children aged 10-12 years. Dekadensi moral yang terjadi di lingkup sekolah, seperti bullying, menyontek, plagiasi, korupsi, tawuran, dan sebagainya menunjukkan kurangnya integritas pada anak usia sekolah. Kesadaran akan pentingnya integritas perlu dikembangkan sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pedoman pendidikan karakter integritas berbasis permainan tradisional, mengetahui kualitas serta pengaruh penerapannya terhadap karakter integritas anak usia 10-12 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) tipe ADDIE. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui teknik nontes dan tes menggunakan instrumen kuesioner terbuka, kuesioner tertutup, dan soal evaluasi penilaian diri. Data yang terkumpul dianlisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui dan menguraikan signifikansi, besar pengaruh, dan efektivitas dari penerapan buku pedoman. Peneliti melibatkan 10 siswa SD Negeri Jonggrangan yang beralamat di Jonggrangan, RT 01/RW 15, Sendangmulyo, Minggir, Sleman sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan buku pedoman pendidikan karakter integritas berbasis permainan tradisional berdasarkan lima langkah ADDIE menunjukkan (1) buku pedoman dinilai memiliki kualitas “Sangat baik” dan direkomendasi “Tidak perlu direvisi” oleh sembilan validator, (2) penerapan buku pedoman pendidikan karakter menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan, memiliki besar pengaruh yang tergolong “efek besar” berdasarkan uji korelasi Pearson, dan memiliki efektivitas yang tergolong “Tinggi” berdasarkan hasil uji N-gain score. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah buku pedoman karakter integritas berbasis permainan tradisional untuk anak usia 10-12 tahun yang dikembangkan berdasarkan tahap penelitian tipe ADDIE memiliki memiliki kualitas yang “Sangat baik” dan penerapan berpengaruh terhadap karakter integritas anak usia 10-12 tahun.

Abstract

Kurangnya inovasi dalam meningkatkan karakter rasa ingin tahu berdampak pada dekonstruksi anak dalam berpikir sehingga mudah menjadi korban berita hoax. Perilaku demikian berujung pada menurunnya kesehatan mental, stres, dan berbagai tindak kekerasan. Kesadaran akan pentingnya karakter rasa ingin tahu perlu dikembangkan sejak dini. Salah satu landasan kokoh peningkatan pendidikan karakter anak bangsa adalah kekayaan budaya. Permainan tradisional menjadi kekayaan budaya nusantara yang relevan dengan prinsip pembelajaran efektif untuk meningkatkan karakter rasa ingin tahu. Tujuan riset ini adalah mengembangkan buku pedoman pendidikan karakter rasa ingin tahu berbasis permainan tradisional. Riset dilakukan di Sedayu, Bantul, DIY terhadap enam anak usia 10-12 tahun. Metode riset menggunakan R & D model ADDIE. Hasil riset menerangkan bahwa (a) pengembangan buku pedoman menggunakan langkah ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, dan evaluate), (b) buku pedoman memiliki kategori “sangat baik” dan saran “tidak perlu revisi” dengan skor 3,85 pada rentang 1-4, (c) implementasi buku pedoman berdampak pada karakter rasa ingin tahu. Uji signifikansi menghasilkan nilai z = -2,232 p = 0,026 (p < 0,05). Buku pedoman memiliki “efek besar” dengan r = 0,6443. Implementasi buku pedoman dapat menjelaskan 41,52% perubahan varian pada karakter rasa ingin tahu. Efektivitas buku pedoman adalah “tinggi” dengan N-Gain score 98,6111%.

Abstract

Moral crisis such as violence, brawl, damage the environmental, vandalism and lack of concern for the environment showed the low character of social responsibility in children. Various ways have been tried to deal with this problem, one of which is cultivated character from an early age. The purpose of this study was to develop a social responsibility character education guidebook based on traditional games for children aged 10-12 years. This study used the ADDIE Research and Development method involving 10 certified teachers, 10 validators, and 8 children aged 10-12 years. The results of the study stated that 1) a traditional game-based social responsibility character guidebook for children aged 10-12 years was developed based on the ADDIE steps. 2) through expert judgment by the validator, this manual was classified as excellent with a recommend of no revision with an average of 3.81. 3) the implementation of the guidebook influences the character of social responsibility for children aged 10-12 years. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the final self-assessment score (M = 3.7500, SE = 0.07319) higher than the initial self-assessment score (M = 2.0875, SE = 0.14447) which is clearly seen at t (7) = 9.435 and the difference is significant, p = 0.000 (p <0.05).  H0 is rejected.  The magnitude of the effect is classified as a large effect, the percentage of 92% and 85.59% on the N-gain score test is included in the high effectiveness category.  Thus, traditional game guidebooks could be said to be effective in developing socially responsible characters.

Abstract

Kurangnya minat dan motivasi belajar merupakan masalah yang banyak ditemui pada anak sekolah dasar. Hal tersebut terjadi karena rendahnya inovasi pendidikan karakter senang belajar sehingga diperlukan buku panduan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pedoman pendidikan karakter berbasis permainan tradisional dalam menumbuhkan karakter senang belajar anak usia 7-9 tahun. Riset ini menggunakan metode Research and Development model ADDIE dengan instrumen analisis kebutuhan berbentuk kuesioner terbuka dan tertutup yang dibagikan pada sepuluh guru bersertifikasi dari daerah Sleman, Kulon Progo, Jawa Tengah, Bali dan Nusa Tenggara Timur, dan melibatkan sepuluh validator sebagai expert judgement, serta delapan anak untuk melakukan uji coba terbatas.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku pedoman yang dikembangkan dengan tahapan ADDIE ini memiliki kualitas dengan skor 3,80 berdasarkan evaluasi dari validator. Skor ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas buku memiliki kriteria sangat baik sehingga tidak perlu ada perbaikan. Buku pedoman ini juga berpengaruh terhadap karakter senang belajar  siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan perolehan rerata skor penilaian diri. Buku pedoman ini berpengaruh terhadap karakter senang belajar dengan tingkat Effect size r sebesar 0,99 sepadan dengan 98,20% termasuk kategori efek besar dan efektivitas buku pedoman melalui N-Gain Score sebesar 87,09% termasuk dalam efektivitas tinggi. Sehingga kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah buku pedoman pendidikan karakter dapat mampu menumbuhkan karakter senang belajar anak usia 7-9 tahun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pedoman pendidikan karakter adil berbasis permainan tradisional untuk usia 10-12 tahun. Metode penelitian menggunakan R D tipe ADDIE. Penelitian ini melibatkan sepuluh guru, sepuluh validator, dan enam anak usia 10-12 tahun di SD Widoro. Hasil penelitian menyatakan, bahwa 1) buku pedoman pendidikan karakter adil untuk anak usia 10-12 tahun dikembangkan sesuai tahapan ADDIE, 2) kualitas buku pedoman melalui expert judgement mendapat skor 3,82 dengan kualifikasi “sangat baik” dan “tidak perlu revisi “, 3) implementasi buku pedoman mempunyai pengaruh pada karakter adil anak dengan hasil uji signifikan yang  menunjukkan nilai t(5)= 10,084, p= 0,000 (p0,05). Efek besar pengaruh sebesar r sebesar 0,97 atau 95,31% dengan kategori “efek besar”. Tingkat efektivitas ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-gain score sebesar 79,43% yang setara dengan tingkat efektivitas “tinggi”.The objective of this research is to develop a guidebook for traditional games for children between the ages of 10-12 that are based on fair character education. ADDIE type R D is used in this research procedures. Ten teachers, ten validators, and six students between the ages of 10 and 12 from SD Widoro participated in the research. Studies have revealed that 1) the fair character education guidebook for 10 to 12 year olds was developed according to the procedures of ADDIE, 2) the book's quality received a rating of 3.82 with the qualifiers "very good" and "no revision," and 3) the application of the guidebook has an impact on the child's fair character with significant tests showing a value of t (5)= 10,084, p= 0,000 (p0,05). A large impact of r by 0.97 or 95.31% with a "large effect" category. Effectiveness levels are demonstrated by a 79.43% value in n-gains score that equals a "high" effectiveness level.

Abstract

Parents have expressed concern over the recent crisis in children's sense of justice. Various efforts have been made to overcome this problem, one of which is character development from an early age. This study aims to develop a guidebook based on traditional games to foster a sense of justice in children aged 7-9 years. For this purpose, the Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE type research methodology was employed. This study involved ten teachers for the purposes of needs analysis, ten validators with expertise from various related fields, and eight children as subjects in a limited trial. The study's findings show that: 1) the traditional game-based justice character education guidebook for children aged 7-9 years is appropriate and developed based on the ADDIE stages, 2) through expert judgment carried out by the validator, the guidebook obtains an average score of 3.77 with the qualification "very good" and the recommendation "no need for revision," and 3) the implementation of the guidebook influences the development of the character of justice. The final self-assessment's mean score (M = 3.7875, SE = 0.8332) is higher than the initial self-assessment's mean (M = 1.8750, SE = 0.6748). This variation shows value of t (7) = 13.844, p = 0.000 (p 0.05). With the influence of 96.48% and the level of effectiveness according to the N-Gain Score test of 89.25%, the size of the effect falls into the "big effect" and the "high" category, respectively. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the guidebook based on traditional games is effective in cultivating the character of a sense of justice in children aged 7-9 years.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan buku pedoman pendidikan karakter kecerdasan sosial berbasis permainan tradisional anak usia 10-12 tahun. Riset dilakukan dengan metode R&D tipe ADDIE. Subjek penelitian melibatkan enam anak usia 10-12 tahun di Dusun Mendiro, DIY.  Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa 1) Buku pedoman pendidikan karakter kecerdasan sosial berbasis permainan tradisional dikembangkan dengan tahapan ADDIE, 2) Kualitas buku pedoman pendidikan karakter kecerdasan sosial memperoleh skor rerata 3,75 dengan kualifikasi “sangat baik” dan “tidak perlu revisi”, dan 3) Buku pedoman pendidikan karakter kecerdasan sosial berpengaruh terhadap karakter kecerdasan sosial anak, dengan significance test memperoleh nilai t(5) = 20,200, p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Effect size r = 0,993 atau 98,79% dengan kualifikasi efek besar. Efektivitas penerapan buku pedoman menghasilkan N-gain score sebesar 95,4674% dengan effectiveness level “Tinggi”. Maka, buku pedoman pendidikan karakter kecerdasan sosial berbasis permainan tradisional diakui layak dan efektif dalam pengembangan karakter kecerdasan sosial anak usia 10-12 tahun.

Abstract

The purpose of this researched was to develop a character education guidebook for open-mindedness based on traditional games for children aged 10-12 years. The problem statement of the researched was how to develop a traditional game-based character education guidebook, how was the quality of the guidebook, and did the guidebook affected the open-mindedness character of children. The researched model used was R & D typed ADDIE. The results of the studied explained that 1) the open-mindedness character education guidebook based on traditional games was developed used the ADDIE stages; 2) the quality of the character education guidebook got a score of 3.87 (range 1-4) which was classified in the category of "very good" and "no needed for revision"; and 3) application of open-minded character education guidebook based on traditional games affected children's open-minded character with the result of a significance test t= 9.815, p= 0.000 (p < 0.05). The product was included in the "big effect" with a valued of r = 0.9750170916 or equivalent to an effect of 95.1% and its effective valued was "high" with an N-Gain Score = 87.19%
