Abstract

Desa Jelijih Punggang dan Desa Batungsel di  Kecamatan Pupuan  merupakan desa dengan areal lahan pertanian yang  luas terutama lahan perkebunan. Hampir  setiap rumah tangga warga dua desa ini memiliki kebun dengan beraneka macam pohon.  Pohon-pohon yang biasa terdapat pada lahan masyarakat adalah kopi robusta, kelapa, dan kakao.  Untuk buah-buahan biasanya ada mangga, manggis dan durian.  Tanaman yang dominan ditanaman di desa Jelijih Punggang adalah buah manggis.  Buah ini sudah sampai di ekspor ke mancanegara, bahkan desa ini sudah memiliki instalasi pengolahan jus manggis sebagai pendukung produk Bumdes.   Di desa Batungsel tanaman yang dominan adalah kopi robusta.  Malahan di desa ini sudah ada unit Bumdes yang melakukan pengolahan kopi bubuk yang sudah cukup terkenal di Bali. Sesuai dengant ujuan dari IbW di desa ini yaitu bersama Pemda Tabanan, tim IbW Unmas Denpasar bertekad untuk mensukseskan program Gerbang Pangan dan Gerbang Emas untuk lebih memberdayakan masyarakat dalam rangka menyongsong kemandirian pangan dan energi menuju Tabanan Serasi ( Sehat, Sejahtera dan Berprestasi). Masalah kesuburan lahan menjadi isu penting pada pengelolaan tanaman manggis, karena adanya kandungan logam berat yang ditemukan pada buah manggis. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut maka pada tahun 2017 tim Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar melakukan perlakuan biochar pada 100 tanaman manggis di des Jelijih Punggang Kata Kunci: Gerbang Emas Serasi, Percepatan, Gerbang Pangan, Biochar

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe functions and values ​​of Dewi Kresna Dance-Drama Performance in Kerambitan Tabanan. The underlying theories used as the basis of this research are the theories of structuralism and hermeneutics. The data of the research was obtained through conducting field observation, interviewing some source persons, research libraries and recording the performance on the spot. The result of the recording was transcripted and translated literally and idiomatically. Then it was analyzed descriptively using argumentative techniques. The result of the findings is that the plot of the story is made up with two main acts with nine types of conventional scenes. The characters involved in the performance were categorized into stock characters, conventional formulaic ones who are always present in every traditional performance in Bali and also central characters. Why Dewi Kresna is used here, not Calonarang as commonly used in the other parts of Bali is due to the factors of feeling, esthetics and the society's belief in Kerambitan. They avoid using "Calonarang" who has so far negative connotation. The theme sets forth here is the eternal battle between good and bad spirits. The functions of the performance for the village comuninity in Kerambitan are for completing the process of the temple ceremony, as the media of education, for entertainment, as a means of tightening the society's relationship, and for driving away disaster. The values ​​that can be taken from the performance are values ​​of legend, magical phenomena, religious practices, loyalty, esthetics, ethics, and the two opposing powers: rwa-bhineda.

Abstract

Teaching strategies are techniques used by teachers to help students become independent in learning and active strategic learners. Teaching strategies become learning strategies when students independently choose suitable ones and practice them effectively to achieve tasks or meet their learning goals. This study aims to examine the learning strategies applied by language teachers in language learning practices in the classroom to optimize students’ language skill acquisition. Data collection methods used are observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative analysis, namely data reduction, presentation, and concluding. The results showed that there are several favorable teaching strategies employed by language teachers to improve students' language skills. This research has implications for educational institutions to continually improve teachers’ skills to implement effective and innovative learning strategies.

Abstract

This collaborative research was aimed at exploring teaching strategies used in teaching writing by pre-service teachers who conducted practice teaching junior high schools in Denpasar. The research was done due to the problems faced by the teachers in teaching writing. Some innovative techniques were practiced by pre-service teachers to overcome the problems. The innovative techniques proposed were clustering technique, roundtable technique, think pair share, and mind mapping. It was believed that these techniques would be able to improve the students’ ability in writing. After the implementation of the teaching strategies, it was revealed that all techniques offered were able to foster the students’ ability in writing. Therefore, the study implies that innovative learning strategies should be implemented in every teaching activity, especially in teaching writing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk (1) mendapatkan data yang pasti bahwa Cooperative Script dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks observasi pada siswa kelas X AP4 SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019, dan (2) menemukan langkahlangkah penerapan metode pembelajaran Cooperative Script dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks observasi pada siswa kelas X AP4 SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan metode tes. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil tes yang diperoleh dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran Cooperative Script untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks observasi pada Siswa Kelas X AP4 SMK PGRI 4 Tahun Pelajaran 2018/ 2019 mengalami peningkatan. Pada tes awal nilai rata--rata hanya 4,6 dengan kategori kurang, Siklus I nilai rata--rata 5,6 dengan kategori hampir cukup, Siklus II nilai rata--rata 6,4 dengan kategori hampir cukup dan nilai rata-rata siswa pada Siklus III mengalami peningkatan menjadi 7,9 dengan kategori lebih dari cukup. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode pembelajaran Cooperative Script untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks observasi pada siswa kelas X AP4 SMK PGRI 4 Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 dinyatakan berhasil karena sudah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM) yaitu sebesar 75.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims (1) to determine the structure of the themes and moral values contained in the novel Putus Cinta Is Not the End of Everything. The theories that underlie this research are (1) the nature of literary works, (2) the definition of novels, (3) the intrinsic elements of the novel, (4) the structure of the theme, and (5) the notion of morality values. Data collection is done by the library method. The data in this study were processed by using qualitative analysis techniques, namely, the researchers conducted the analysis interactively and took place continuously until it was finished. This study uses an instrument that is a tool used by research in collecting data so that it is arranged systematically. There are also steps in data analysis using data triangulation analysis, namely: (1) reducing data, (2) presenting data and (3) data verification. The results of this study indicate the findings of two theme structures, namely major themes and minor themes. The major themes found are the major themes of love and problems with her two older sisters, while the minor themes are friendship, the sincerity of a friend. The novel "Putus Cinta Is Not the End of Everything" by Ida Raihan also contains twelve moral values, namely the value of struggle, the value of sacrifice, the value of injustice, the value of doubt, the value of crime, the value of caring, the value of independence, the value of honesty, the value of discipline, the value of politeness, the value of politeness. , the value of courage, the value of purity of heart.

Abstract

Language as a means or tool of communication owned by humans ini general to convey ideas, ideas, and information to other people. Human life cannot be separated from language because language is the mots important means of communicating every day. And the information conveyed will be well received if the speaker (speaker) and listener (opponet) both understand the language used. code mixing does not only occur in spoken from, but also occur in spoken form, but also occurs ini spoken language which is written ini the form of discourse. The problem analyzed in this study are (1) the form of interference in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy (2) the function of code mixing in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The purpose of research is to find out the form of code mixing in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative form, namely describing the form and function of the occurrence of code mixing contained in the novel Bidadari Bemata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Based on data analysis in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, it was found that there was a mix of regional language codes (Javanese) and foreign languages (Arabic and English) totaling 47 data. mixing code in the form of words, mixing in the form of phrases, mixing code in the form of repeated words, mixing code in the form of compound words or idioms. The functions behind the code mixing in the novel Bidadari with Bening eyes by Habiburrahman El Shirazy are (1) for respect, (2) to emphasize a meaning, (3) to show self-identity, and (4) because of the influence of speech.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is aimed at developing students' thinking power towards literary works in the world of fictional or non-viction stories including intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements in Louisa May Alcott's Little Woman novel and its implications in learning literature. Intrinsic elements include themes, characters, setting, plot, point of view and mandate, while extrinsic elements include the author's background and values contained in the novel. The method used in this research is the observation method while the data source used in this research is a novel entitled Little Woman by Louisa May Alcott. The results of the analysis show (1) themes: struggle for life, friendship and romance, (2) characters, (3) plot: plot structure using a forward plot that is told from the beginning to the end of the story, (4) setting: divided into three namely place, time , and atmosphere, (5) point of view: using a third person point of view (name of person), (6) message: the message conveyed in the novel Little Woman by the author to the reader. While extrinsic elements include (1) the author's background and the values contained (moral, social, cultural, religious, and educational values). The implication of the Little Woman novel in learning literature is that this research can be used as a reference for students in analyzing a novel about the intrinsic and extrinsic elements contained in it.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the conventional form of implicature (actually general meaning) contained in the novel Jodoh Akan Meet by Lana Azim and Dwitasari and to describe the form of conversational implicature (conversation) contained in the novel Jodoh Akan Meet by Lana Azim and Dwitasari . The research instrument used is the researcher himself. Data collection is done by documentation method and observation method. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this study show the findings of conventional implicatures (the true meaning of a general nature) and the form of conversational implicatures (conversations). The findings of conventional implicature forms (actual meanings that are general in nature) were found in the form of news sentences (declarative), interrogative sentences (inrogatives), imperative sentences (imperatives), and exclamatory sentences (exclamatives). The findings of the form of conversational implicature (conversation) are the form of news sentences (declarative), interrogative sentences (inrogatives), imperative sentences (imperatives), and exclamatory sentences (exclamatives).

Abstract

Profesionalisme seorang guru merupakan angan-angan sekaligus harapan dan cita-cita. Untuk menjadi seorang guru yang professional dituntut untuk mempunyai ketrampilan belajar-mengajar, baik terhadap dirinya sendiri maupun terhadap anak didiknya. Di samping itu, seorang guru yang professional dituntut untuk menguasai dan memahami materi yang diajarkan yang mengacu kepada kurikulum, silabus, satuan acara pelajaran, dan selalu membuat dan menerapkan RPP. Walaupun, guru itu sudah menguasai dan memahami hal di atas belum tentu juga guru dapat disebut professional. Dikatakan demikian, karena guru dalam menyampaikan materi yang diajarkan kepada siswa sangat sulit dipahami dan dimengerti. Hal ini disebabkan oleh bahasa yang digunakannya tidak baik. Lafalnya tidak standar, pilihan katanya tidak tepat yang kadang-kadang menyebabkan ambiguitas makna, kalimatnya tidak efektif yang menyebabkan salah interpretasi. Oleh karena itu, seorang guru yang ingin menjadi professional, tidak hanya harus meguasai materi yang diajarkan tetapi juga harus menguasai dan memahami bahasa standar yang digunakan sebagai bahasa pengantar di dunia pendidikan di Indonesia pada umumnya.. Lafalnya harus baik, pilihan katanya harus tepat sehingga tifak menimbulkan ambbiguitas makna. Kalimat yang digunakan harus efisien dan efektif. Dengan adanya keseimbangan antara penguasaan materi yang diajarkan yang mengacu kepada kurikulum, silabus, satuan acara pelajaran, dan RPP juga harus mampu menyampaikan materi itu dengan bahasa Indonesia yang standar, niscaya dapat diciptakan guru yang professional di bidang proses pembelajarannya. Anak didik dapat memahami materi pelajaran yang diberikan guru.
