Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide knowledge and skills to Indonesian Language Education Masters Study Program students in writing scientific articles. This activity must be carried out because students must publish their research articles in accredited national journals or international journals under the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Number 50 of 2018. This activity uses the problem-solving method to overcome three problems, preparation of training modules, implementation workshops/training, and the ability of students to write scientific articles. This community service activity produces the following things. (1) Availability of scientific article writing training modules. (2) The implementation of the workshop/training was well proven by > 75% (16 people/76.19%) of students, who managed to get an average score of 76.19 in a pretty good category. (3) The ability to write scientific articles for students is at an average score of 76.19 in a fairly good category. The average score based on the indicator of completeness of the structure is 83.33 in the good category; the language aspect indicator is 77.38 in a fairly good category; the template suitability indicator of 76.19 in a pretty good category; the Mendeley application utilization indicator is 50.00 in the less category. The scientific article content indicator is 92.86 in the very good category and the literature review indicator of 77.38 in the fairly good category.

Abstract

Teacher skills are an absolute must to oversee the implementation of an independent curriculum in schools. Teacher skills are important to continue understanding basic literacy concepts. Basic literacy skills are the foundation of all student learning, including those for science, technology, mathematics, character education, and higher order thinking skills. This strengthening carried out directly provides assistance to teachers in schools in educating students about basic literacy. Literacy is a very important thing for students to master, especially in the 21st century. Thus, this stabilization effort provides significant results for teachers and students in implementing an independent curriculum, especially at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bimbingan teknis pada calon guru pamong sekolah mitra berkenaan dengan pelaksanaan PPL berbasis lesson study. Metode penyampaian bimbingan berupa ceramah dan praktik secara langsung dengan menampilkan pemateri yang sudah berpengalaman dan berkompeten dalam hal ini. Selama bimbingan, calon guru pamong diberikan bekal pemahaman yang mendalam tentang konsep PPL berbasis lesson study. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan di Kampus 2 FKIP yang beralamat di Jalan Karya Bakti Pontianak. Peserta bimbingan berjumlah 20 orang. Kegiatan PKM dengan fokus bimbingan teknis pelaksanaan PPL berbasis lesson study memberikan hal positif terhadap pemahaman calon guru pamong sekolah mitra berkenaan dengan konsep pelaksanaan PPL berbasis lesson study dengan harapan dapat dapat diterapkan peserta bimbingan saat membimbing mahasiswa melaksanakan PPL di sekolah masing-masing.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps of developing a digital picture book in the form of a flipbook that is valid and practical in thematic learning for fifth grade students at 39 Pontianak City Elementary School. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the ADDIE model which consists of five development steps, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The data sources of this research are design experts, material experts and students validators. The results of the validation of design experts and materials experts obtained an average of 5 "very valid". The results of design and material validation for students by small groups obtained an average of 4.45 "very valid". The results of design and material validation for students by large groups obtained an average of 4.51 "very valid". The results of practicality by small groups obtained an average of 4.54 "very practical". The results of practicality by large groups obtained an average of 4.46 "very practical". Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the digital illustrated story book in the form of a flipbook in thematic learning is very practical to use in the learning process.Keywords: Digital book, Flipbook, Thematic
