Abstract

Praktik secara langsung dan tatap muka tetap menjadi pilihan favorit mahasiswa pada perguruan tinggi yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran jarak jauh, dibandingkan dengan praktik/tutorial online. Mahasiswa program studi hukum UT selain diberikan materi teoritis akademis secara mandiri dan terstruktur, juga diberikan pengalaman beracara di pengadilan. Selain praktik dan observasi di lembaga peradilan, mahasiswa juga dibimbing untuk menulis berkas/dokumen yang dibutuhkan dalam proses beracara. Metode penelitian dilakukakan dengan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mix methode) dengan instrumen berupa angket dan wawancara. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang didapatkan dari angket/kuesioner dan dari wawancara langsung. Data sekunder dari literasi pustaka buku pedoman PPB dan referensi lainnya. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu pelaksanaan PPB secara tatap muka sejauh ini sudah dipandang bagus oleh mahasiswa yang telah melaksanakan PPB, tetapi ada beberapa aspek yang harus dibenahi sebagai evaluasi dalam membuat program pada semester berikutnya.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has accelerated digitization in all aspects of life. As an effort to deal with its spread, the legal realm has also undergone a transformation. The implementation of remote litigations during the Covid-19 pandemic has begun to take effect in line with the government's appeal for Physical/ Social distance. The litigations used the support of the internet network or known as e-litigation. It is nothing new in the world because previously developed countries, such as the United States, have used this method beforehand. The implementation of e-litigation in Indonesia is certainly different from other developed countries that are technologically ready. The implementation of e-litigation is a development of the previously implemented e-court program. This study examined the ins and outs of virtual litigations during the pandemic with all the regulations that assist them. The research used normative and empirical juridical methods that provide explanations so that it can be used as an evaluation of implementation during the pandemic period and towards the new normal era. The secondary data were taken from the primary materials from the regulations that apply during the pandemic and the new normal era. In addition, the secondary materials used were also from journals, books, and other literacy sources. The results of this paper can be used as a reference for further research on the transformation of law enforcement that puts forward the modernization of technology and information in fulfilling justice and social welfare.

Abstract

Wabah global telah melanda dunia, begitu pula yg terjadi di Indonesia, sehingga program stay at home dilaksanakan sbg upaya menekan perluasan covid-19. Pada Universitas Terbuka, bulan Maret adalah awal semester tutorial masa registrasi 2020.1, baik tutorial online (tuton) maupun tutorial tatap muka (TTM). UT Semarang, sedang memasuki tutorial perdana pada mahasiswa yang mengambil modus pembelajaran TTM. Untuk menaati program pemerintah, modus pembelajaran dialihkan menjadi kelas virtual, agar mahasiswa tetap mendapatkan haknya memperoleh ilmu tetapi tetap aman dengan di rumah saja. Kelas TTM diganti menggunakan modus tuweb (tutorial webinar). Modus baru didapatkan mahasiswa sehingga mendorong penelitian ini dilakukan. Bagaimana kesiapan mahasiswa dengan pembaharuan modus belajar? Bagaimana penguasaan teknologi yang diperlukan mahasiswa dalam menyongsong pembelajarannya? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan kuesioner. Populasi diambil dari 100 mahasiswa UT Semarang, pokjar Kabupaten Batang dari berbagai semester. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan 82% mahasiswa mendukung dan semakin semangat dalam menyiapkan teknologi untuk modus baru pembelajaran menggunakan tuweb. Saran dan masukan mahasiswa juga menjadikan evaluasi dalam pelayanan lebih prima pada UT maupun dunia pendidikan pada keadaan global yang sedang terkena wabah ini.

Abstract

The implementation of learning activities during the pandemic is carried out online, including learning activities at the Distance Learning Program Unit of the Open University of Semarang using Web-based Tutorials (Tuweb) using Microsoft Team. Online learning requires students to study independently. The purpose of this study was to integrate the impact of user experience, academic self-concept and adversity quetion on independent learning in students. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection techniques using a psychological scale. The psychological scale used in this study is (1) the learning independence scale. (2) academic self-concept scale (3) adversity quotient scale and (4) user experience scale. The measurement results show a TLI of 0.955. This output shows the accuracy, consistency of the accuracy of the composite reliability measuring instrument which shows the accuracy, consistency of the accuracy of a measuring instrument in making measurements. Student independence is influenced by academic self-concept and user experience, but the adversity quotient does not have a significant effect.

Abstract

They were teaching academic writing to fulfill the students’ ability in writing action research through blended synchronous faces some problems in this endemic COVID 19. Most issues are found in creating a face-to-face environment, but the condition is studied from home. We applied synchronous and asynchronous learning to academic writing courses using android gamification media to overcome this problem. The objective analysis of this current research is to investigate the effectiveness of android gamification media on academic writing courses through synchronous and asynchronous learning. The participants were 25 students from the second semester. The results showed that the implementation of android gamification media is effective in teaching academic writing courses through synchronous and asynchronous learning. The students’ engagement had positive results when the students learned academic writing through synchronous and asynchronous learning. Thus, this study contributes to the successful implementation of android gamification media through synchronous and asynchronous learning in academic writing courses.

Abstract

Melihat realita yang terjadi di masyarakat, masih ditemukan penyelenggaraan pendidikan anak yang belum sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak.   Hal ini dikarenakan pemahaman yang terbatas dari pengelola maupun pengajar tentang perkembangan anak. Berbekal dengan kesadaran akan arti pentingnya pendidikan anak usia dini,  maka dosen di UPBJJ UT Semarang melakukan Pelatihan Mengembangkan Media Pembelajaran Bagi Guru TK/PAUD se Kecamatan Limbangan Kabupaten Kendal   guna memenuhi kebutuhan layanan pendidikan anak usia dini di lembaga-lembaga PAUD yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan perkembangan anak sekaligus meningkatkan kompetensi guru.  Tahapan kegiatan: 1) survei lokasi/perijinan, 2) Pelatihan secara teori 3) pelatihan secara praktek dan 4) monitoring dan evaluasi.   Hasil monitoring  dengan memberikan kuesioner pada peserta diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: merasa senang dengan kegiatan PkM ini,  materi menarik, mudah dilakukan, dan bahan mudah di dapatkan, bermanfaat bagi guru siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss whether Indonesia, as one of the countries dominated by the tradition of the civil law system, is still very rigid to provide space for judges to make law formation. However, is the interpretation of the law in the context of a legal discovery process also very limited in countries with a civil law system tradition? Furthermore, whether the dominance of the civil law system tradition in Indonesia affects the development of the use of legal interpretation by judges. These things will be discussed later in this article. In providing justice, judges are required to not only look for la bouche de la loi but must actively explore the meaning behind the regulations to produce a decision that provides justice for the litigants. However, the civil law system tradition, which is still influenced by the notion of legism, has limited space for judges to exercise discretion and is based solely on the principle of legality. This research was conducted with a doctrinal research method with a qualitative approach. This study found that, in Indonesia, the practice of legal interpretation carried out by judges is developing quite well. Many judges have interpreted the law to make legal discoveries if the legal arguments in the cases they are handling are unclear or need to be interpreted further. The method of legal interpretation that is often used is the method of grammatical interpretation with extensive interpretation. This proves that the phenomenon of the dominance of the civil law system tradition is slowly weakening, and the regulations in the Law on Judicial Power open a gap for judges to actively make legal discoveries, one of which is through legal interpretation.Penelitian ini hendak mengkaji mengenai situasi di Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara yang didominasi oleh tradisi civil law system masih sangat kaku untuk memberikan ruang gerak bagi Hakim untuk melakukan pembentukan hukum. Penelitian ini memotret mengenai keterbatasan perkembangan penerapan interpretasi hukum dalam rangka sebuah proses penemuan hukum sangat dibatasi di negara-negara tradisi civil law system. Sehingga dapat menjawab pnegaruh dominasi tradisi civil law system di Indonesia terhadap perkembangan penggunaan interpretasi hukum oleh Hakim. Hal-hal tersebut yang kemudian akan dibahas dalam tulisan ini. Dalam memberikan keadilan Hakim dituntut untuk tidak sekedar mencari la bouche de la loi, namun harus secara aktif menggali makna di balik peraturan sehingga menghasilkan suatu putusan yang memberi keadilan bagi para pihak yang berperkara. Namun tradisi civil law system yang masih dipengaruhi oleh paham legisme membuat keterbatasan ruang gerak bagi Hakim untuk melakukan diskresi dan tetapi berpatokan pada asas legalitas semata. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian doctrinal dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa, di Indonesia praktik interpretasi hukum yang dilakukan oleh para Hakim berkembang dengan cukup baik. Banyak Hakim yang telah melakukan interpretasi hukum guna melakukan penemuan hukum apabila dalil hukum dalam kasus yang ditanganinya tidak jelas atau perlu untuk dimaknai lebih lanjut. Metode interpretasi hukum yang sering digunakan adalah metode interpretasi gramatikal dengan interpretasi ekstensif. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa sebenarnya fenomena dominasi tradisi civil law system perlahan melemah dan peraturan dalam UU Kekuasaan Kehakiman membuka celah bagi para Hakim untuk secara aktif melakukan penemuan hukum salah satunya melalui interpretasi hukum.

Abstract

During the post-Covid-19 pandemic, MSMEs began to be reluctant to get back up, after being in suspended animation during the pandemic. As is the case with community service partners who have a typical Carica beverage entrepreneur with the NSR brand located in Bawang village, Batang district, Central Java. The 3 years of non-production has caused several partner problems, including the end of PIRT legality and upgrading of HALAL certification, equipment that is no longer suitable for use because it has not been in production for a long time, and also conventional marketing problems. This third thing made the team consisting of lecturers and students carry out community service through mentoring and training methods for Carica's NSR MSME partners. With the provision of equipment assistance, assistance in HALAL management, and digital marketing training, it provides benefits for partners. After the dedication drink activity was held, the public or consumers are increasingly consuming carica with the NSR brand because in November 2022 a HALAL certificate has been issued. Then the partners have a virtual shop to market NSR Carica drinks on social media Tiktok Shop and e-commerce Shopee. With a combination of conventional marketing and digital-based marketing, the results of increasing sales and increasing number of employees are obtained.

Abstract

Due to the pandemic situation, there is a shift in the scientific writing learning process. The process changes from offline to online, where lecturers and students must be more active and involved in the learning process through website tutorials with Microsoft Teams application synchronously and asynchronously through LMS UT. However, such a learning process also experiences problems both with wifi or the internet and the involvement and motivation of students in following it. To complete asynchronously using LMS UT, the research team focused on developing online learning media based on Task-based Language Teaching and android video. This study aims to create online learning media based on Task-Based Language Teaching and android video on writing material for Classroom Action Research to improve understanding and writing Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research are 3rd-semester students at the Open University. The research method is the development method using a modified 4-D model of instructional development of Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel (4-D model). The process of data collection is done by interview, observation, and filling out a questionnaire. The results of developing online learning media based on Task-Based Language Teaching and android video are suitable for the hybrid writing learning process. Students can be communicative in the web tutorial process. Student learning outcomes are already above the average indicator of 75% through the developed learning media. In addition, students responded positively in their involvement in the learning process using Task-Based Language Teaching-based media and android video.

Abstract

Sewing is an activity that is timeless. The number of fashion stores that offer ready-made clothes does not necessarily satisfy buyers. Some are uncomfortable on the body because they don't fit the size, some are not suitable models, and other problems. From this sewing skills are needed. Even skills that are often honed will make you confident, so that it can be used as an improvement in the family economy for dasawisma mothers. The products produced are in demand by fellow friends, and one day they are more developed by selling their products. Starting from that, when partners put forward for sewing training, it was chosen to use the Cuppens Geurs method because it was simpler, more common, and easy to practice. Implementing community service this sewing training lasts for 6 months by optimizing the andragogy training model training program, namely 70% practice and 30% theory. Participants focused more on practical activities using the CG (Cuppens Geurs) method pattern that has been adapted to their respective models that have been selected by partners. The optimization of the program includes the manufacture of women's clothing, namely Gamis clothing. The service activities that have been achieved in this program are dasawisma mothers from Tlogosari Semarang village, from Dasawisma Durian, Dasawisma Pomegranate, Dawis Dahlia, and from the Sunan Kalijaga recitation group to produce gamis products
