Abstract

This study aims to find and analyze models of the effect of ownership structure on the sustainable competitive advantage based on the reputation of the size of the accounting Indonesia’s privatized SOEs. The sample of this study a total of 14 SOEs Tbk Indonesia. Analysis of the data in this study using the Partial Least Square (PLS). Results penelitain found that increasing public ownership in the ownership structure of Indonesia’s privatized SOEs to improve sustainable competitive advantage based on the reputation of the accounting measure of increased return on equity (ROE), an increase in return on assets (ROA), an increase in the actual dividend payout ratio (ADPR).

Abstract

This research analyzes and explains comprehensively the effects of ownership structure on financial and operational performance, on sustainable competitive advantage based on accountancy measurement reputation, and on market performance in Indonesia's privatized SOEs (BUMN Tbk). The samples of this study were selected using the purposive sampling method with the type judgment sampling. The criteria for sample selection were: privatized SOEs which are non-backing sector, privatized SOEs having state owned stock/share more than 51%, and privatized SOEs doing Initial Public Offering (IPO) before 2007. The samples of this research were 9 privatized SOEs. The data analysis was conducted using inferential statistic analysis. Inferential statistical analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) causality based on components or variance. SEM causality analysis, known as Partial Least Square (PLS), is performed using SmartPLS version 1.10 software. The research result shows that: (1) the increase of public ownership in ownership structure can improve financial and operational performance; (2) the increase of public ownership in ownership structure can improve sustainable competitive advantage based on accountancy measurement reputation; (3) the increase of public ownership in ownership structure is unable to improve market performance; (4) the improvement in financial and operational performance can improve market performance; (5) the improvement in financial and operational performance can sustainable competitive advantage based on accountancy measurement reputation; and (6) the improvement of sustainable competitive advantage based on accountancy measurement reputation is unable to improve market performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are: first, to know whether LQ-45 Index Fund performs better than the equity mutual fund in Indonesian capital market; second, to measure the level of Indonesian capital efficiency. Results show that the raw performance and risk-adjusted performance of the LQ-45 Index Fund is better than the performance of all equity mutual funds (concurrently). For the investors who wish to invest their capital in equity mutual fund, however, we have found two individual equity mutual fund which perform better than the LQ-45 Index Fund, that is Phinisi Dana Saham and Rencana Cerdas. The result of this research also shows that the excess performance of the LQ-45 Index Fund is smaller than the excess performance of (individual) equity mutual fund. From this result, we may conclude that Indonesian capital market is an inefficient capital market.   Keywords: Equity Mutual Fund, Index Fund, Efficiency Market

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences before and after the implementation of IFRS on the financial statements of companies listed on the Stock Exchange. By looking at the difference in net income, equity and abnormal stock returns to firms in Indonesia in the IFRS convergence process using the Event Window is analyzed with nonparametric statistics: two paired sample test - Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The study population was all the companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2011 and 2012. The research sample was determined using purposive and judgment sampling, obtained 78 sample firms. The results showed that there were significant differences on net income, equity and firm abnormal stock returns after implementation of IFRS.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) developments and fluctuations in inflation in Jambi City; 2) commodities which are the trigger factors for inflation in Jambi City. The main and supporting data used are sourced from the Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia and the Jambi City Bappeda. Data analysis was carried out descriptively analytic. The results of the study found: 1) During 2015 (until September), Jambi City experienced a deflation of -0.08 percent (y-t-d). This shows the success of Jambi City in controlling the inflation rate; 2) foodstuffs group is the biggest contributor to inflation and deflation in Jambi City; 3) the main commodity that triggers inflation in Jambi City is an increase in food ingredients (inflation food) in addition to administered inflation factors (increases in government-regulated price components such as fuel prices, electricity tariffs, transport fares and others). Therefore, price movements are predominantly determined by an increase in demand that usually occurs on religious holidays, and by movements in the supply of these foods.

Abstract

Salah satu indeks di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) yaitu Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1)Untuk menentukan portofolio optimal dari saham-saham JII periode 2010-2012 yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan Model NDEKS Tunggal. (2)Untuk mengetahui kinerja portofolio optimal dari saham-saham JII periode tahun 2010-2012 diukur dengan menggunakan metode RVOL. (3)Untuk mengetahui peringkat kinerja portofolio optimal dari saham-saham JII periode tahun 200-2012. Kriteria pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang sahamnya secara konsisten terdaftar pada Jakarta Islamic index (JII) selama periode 2010-2012. Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut diperoleh sampel sebanyak 14 perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan Model Indeks Tunggal pada tahun 2010 terdapat 1 saham yang memenuhi syarat membentuk portofolio optimal yaitu PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk. Menduduki peringkat ketiga dengan nilai RVOL sebesar 0,0490. Pada tahun 2011 terdapat 2 saham pembentuk portofolio optimal yaitu PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. dan PT. PP London Indonesia Tbk. menduduki peringkat kedua dengan nilai RVOL sebesar 0,2467. Sedangkan pada tahun 2012 terdapat 3 saham pembentuk portofolio optimal yaitu PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk., PT. Astra Internasional Tbk., dan PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk. menduduki peringkat pertama dengan nilai RVOL sebesar 0,2995. Maka dapat diketahui bahwa kinerja portofolio optimal paling baik terjadi pada tahun 2012, hal ini dikarenakan kinerja portofolio optimal pada tahun 2012 memiliki nilai RVOL paling besar dibandingkan dengan nilai RVOL pada tahun 2010 dan 2011.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mendekripsikan kinerja para pegawai di Kantor Camat Kecamatan Pelawan kabupaten Sarolangun berdasarkan faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhinya; 2) Untuk mengetahui upaya – upaya yang dilakukan oleh Camat Kecamatan Pelawan untuk meningkatkan kinerj a para pegawai nya.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas dari para pegawai yang ada di Kantor Camat Pelawan masih berstatus Non-PNS dengan persentase 48% dan 52% lainnya telah berstatus PNS. Mengacu pada topik penelitian, pada dasarnya keseluruhan indikator yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai yang dijadikan sebagai indikator dalam mengukur kinerja tersebut, merupakan indikator yang saling ada keterkaitan dan saling mendukung, hanya saja ada beberapa faktor yang dirasa tidak terlalu mempengaruhi kinerja para pegawai pada saat mereka diberikan tugas atau dalam bersikap sebagai seorang pegawai.

Abstract

This study aims 1) To know the development / change of Total Debt, Total Assets, Sales, Profit After Interest and Taxes, Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), and the Net Profit Margin (NPM) of the Company at Food and Beverages industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2014. 2) To determine the financial performance of companies based on analysis method of Du Pont System on Food and Beverages industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2014. 3) To determine a company's financial performance ratings based method Du Pont System on Food and Beverages industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2014. The object of this research are companies engaged in the Food and Beverages industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2014 period totaling 15 companies. Variables used in the calculation method of Du Pont System in this study is Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Investment (ROI) and Return on Equity (ROE) . Based on the results, it can be concluded that the financial performance of the fifteen companies in the Food and Beverages industry who possess the period 2012-2014 is the highest ranking PT. Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk with a value of Return On Investment (ROI) in 2012 amounted to 39.36%, in 2013 amounted to 65.72%, in 2014 amounted to 35.63% and the Return on Equity (ROE) in 2012 amounted to 137, 46%, in 2013 amounted to 118.60%, in 2014 amounted to 143.53%. While the lowest-ranked in 2012 and 2013 were PT. Tri Banyan Tirta Tbk with a value of Return On Investment (ROI) in 2012 was 1.83% and in 2013 amounted to 13.05% and value of Return On Equity (ROE) in 2012 amounted to 4.82%, in 2013 by 2 , 22%. And the lowest rank in 2014 was PT. Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk with a value of Return On Investment (ROI) amounted to -4.54% and the Return on Equity (ROE) of -7.44%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan, inovasi produk, dan media sosial terhadap kinerja pemasaran melalui keunggulan bersaing pada UKM di Kota Jambi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 100 UKM di Kota Jambi. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Smart PLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh langsung, Orientasi Kewirausahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing, inovasi produk berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing, media sosial berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing, orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pemasaran, keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pemasaran, Media Sosial berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Pemasaran pada UKM di Kota Jambi dan kesimpulan dari pengaruh mediasi penelitian ini adalah keunggulan bersaing memiliki pengaruh mediasi terhadap variabel inovasi produk dan media sosial, sedangkan untuk variabel orientasi kewirausahaan tidak terdapat pengaruh mediasi. Kata kunci : Orientasi Kewirausahaan; Inovasi Produk; Media Sosial; Keunggulan Kompetitif; dan Kinerja Pemasaran ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, product innovation, and social media on marketing performance through competitive advantage in SMEs in Jambi City. Data collection was carried out by survey using a questionnaire given to 100 SMEs in Jambi City. The analytical tool used is Smart PLS 3.The results show that direct influence, entrepreneurial orientation has no effect on competitive advantage, product innovation affects competitive advantage, social media affects competitive advantage, entrepreneurial orientation affects marketing performance, competitive advantage affects performance Marketing, Social Media has an effect on Marketing Performance in SMEs in Jambi City and the conclusion of the mediation effect of this study is that competitive advantage has a mediating effect on product innovation and social media variables, while for entrepreneurial orientation variables there is no mediation effect Keywords : Entrepreneurship Orientation; Product Innovation; Social Media; Competitive Advantage; and Marketing Performanc

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of internet technology now makes the spread of word of mouth not only limited to face-to-face communication, but has changed its form to electronic word of mouth. One form of E-WOM (electronic Word of Mouth) marketing is social media like Instagram. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Brand Attachment on Instagram Social Commerce E-Wom on Snack Products Online Accounts in Jambi City. The population in this study is the people of Jambi City who use Instagram social media accounts. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling by taking 95 respondents based on criteria. Data collection methods using field studies in the form of online questionnaires. The analytical tool in this study uses multiple linear regression. Brand Satisfaction and Brand Trust have a significant influence on Brand Attachment. Brand Satisfaction and Brand Trust through Brand Attachment have a significant influence on the mediation of E-WOM Instagram social commerce. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi internet saat ini membuat penyebaran word of mouth tidak hanya terbatas pada komunikasi tatap muka, tetapi sudah berubah bentuk menjadi electronic word of mouth. Salah satu bentuk dari E-WOM (electronic Word of Mouth) marketing adalah media sosial seperti Instagram. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kota Jambi yang menggunakan akun social Media Instagram,Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan mengambil 95 responden berdasarkan kriteria. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan studi lapangan dalam bentuk kuesioner online. Alat analisis dalam Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier berganda. HaSil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Brand Satisfaction,Brand Trust memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap E-wom social commerce Instagram, Brand Satisfaction dan Brand Trust memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Brand Attachment .Brand Satisfaction dan Brand Trust melalui Brand Attachment memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mediasi dari E-WOM social commerce Instagram. Kata kunci: Brand Satisfaction, Brand Trust, Brand Attacment, dan E-Wom Social Commerce Instagram.
