Abstract

Virtually, here are many factors affecting the career development of women, both external and internal factors (psychological). But researchers rarely discuss about fear of success as the most influential psychological factors on women's career development. Lately there have been many women leaders who indicated that women's career development is improving. Some literature and empirical research show that the higher the fear of succsess the lower the female spirit to compete for achievement, thus affecting the slow development of a woman's career, but there is also an opinion that the fear of success does not affect the development of a woman's career. It can be said that this difference of opinion is important to be examined, so that it can explain the real situation that happened to a woman career in Bali. This study aims to explain the process and mechanism of fear of success as a psychological factor affecting the career of women especially in Bali. Research method used in this study was qualitative research. The practical implication is that women are able to understand themselves internally psychological, so they could have the confidence in achieving success in the development of their careers. It is expected that companies and governments understand and tolerate women from the psychological side they experience. The orisinality statement on that Balinese women have the fear of success but can overcome it well because they obtains support from religious teachings or beliefs which is a deeply rooted cultural reflection and support from the family.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how Balinese career women harmonize accountability practices. The study uses the interpretive paradigm and phenomenological approach to obtain a description of individual meaning and behavior comprehensively. The key informants in this study were women who were in the pragmatic endurance phase, i.e., the middle of their career in which they face a commitment to maintain a balance between their professional, community and personal or domestic life. The results showed that the multiple roles of Balinese career women were sourced from their self-owned accountability. Keywords: Balinese career women, accountability practices, self-accountability

Abstract

Organizational Culture Engineering of The Seven Characters Dhyana Pura University Bali. Organizational culture can improve the behavior and motivation of human resources so as to develop their performance and in turn can increase organizational performance. Organizational culture can be created by the owner or head of the organization, according to the organization’s needs, as has been done by Dhyana Pura University by implementing a program called seven (7) characters to be an organizational culture. Culture of the organization will function optimally if all members of the organization have a common perception of the culture and are committed to implement it. Organizational culture can be a major instrument of competitive advantage, if it is supported and approved by all members of the organization. Strong organizational culture will be able to help in steering human resources to achieve the vision, mission and goals of the organization. Keywords : culture organization, Undhira’s seven characters

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and understand in depth about how women carry out company policies to enforce work from home (WFH) rules in their career development models. The researcher uses the interpretive paradigm and phenomenology as a basis to obtain a comprehensive description of individual speech and behavior, so as to be able to know the harmonization of Work From Home at the stages of the women career development cycle. The key informants in the study were 6 career women who were in the early, mid to late career phases. The results show that in the idealistic achievement model phase, WFH for women is seen as an obstacle in achieving their careers; the pragmatic endurance model phase, WFH makes life easier for them to carry out their dual roles in a balanced way; In the re-inventive contribution model phase, WFH has a fun impact, because they can work from home while pursuing a hobby so they are happier.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the behavior of women's career success orientation, based on Women's Career Development Models. Various organizations have recognized the ability to carry out their duties and responsibilities, so this support makes them able to decide on carreer success orientation (career goals). The research method is a qualitative method with an interpretative phenomenology approach. Data extraction techniques use in-depth interviews on 6 career women informants in Denpasar City. The conclusion; 1) idealistic achievement model who is willing to achieve by getting challenging that increase their career, 2) pragmatic endurance models are mid-career women who are at the point of choosing family or professional responsibilities, so that they are more careful and stay away from achievement but still work well. and 3) re-inventive contribution models for women in their final careers, they don't think about achievement anymore, but see their careers as opportunities to share and be useful to others. Therefore, it is recommended in determining to choose a career path, it should consider to career success orientation according to the different phases of career women life cycle.

Abstract

Organizational Culture is a very important factor in improving organizational effectiveness. Organizational culture can be a major competitive advantage instrument, when organizational culture supports organizational strategies and can answer or overcome environmental challenges quickly and accurately. The Organizational culture "Undhira's Seven Characters" are: Self Confidence, Integrity, Pluralism, Intra-entrepreneurship, Servant Leadership, Professionalism, and Globaly. The study was conducted on 70 Undhira Management Study Program students who have completed 7 character learning. Based on the importance-performance analysis, the 14 indicators of 7 characters Undhira, only indicator of the Professional variable, namely Competent, who scores 103.23%, above 100%, this means that competent has been very strong effect to their behavior. But 13 other indicators have suitability levels below 100%, which means that the overall organizational culture of the 7 Characters Undhira have not been firmly rooted. Even so, it does not mean that the results obtained are bad, given the lowest suitability level of 80, 31% or above 50%, so the organizational culture of 7 characters can be well received, but the adaptation process must be carried out continuously. Based on the Cartesius Diagram, Quadrant A is an indicator whose handling needs to be prioritized, namely: Innovative capture opportunities, Ethics of superior work ethic, and Competitive collaboration interactions. Based on the Suitability Level Analysis, the indicator of competitive collaboration interaction needs to get the first priority in reform, because it has the lowest suitability level of 80.31 %. While the competent indicator gets the last priority because it has the highest suitability level of 103.23%.

Abstract

This article explores the application of production differentiation strategy by women empowerment through local wisdom of Nasi Koco in the herritage area, Gajah Mada Street, Denpasar-Bali. The purpose of this article is to increase the sales of Nasi Koco by implementing new strategies to win the competition in similar businesses that have sprung up. The strategy that can be offered is a product differentiation, so that the product is more varied and not monotonous, that attracts consumer interest. The product differentiation strategy offered refers more to women's empowerment through local wisdom, namely making products or food variations needed for ceremonies, where as we know people's lives in Bali are full of a series of religious ceremonies. The study employed qualitative approaches using narrative research by observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the study base on an in-depth interview with Balinese women who understand Balinese traditional culture, the advice that can be given is to make product variations, not just Nasi Jinggo or Nasi Wrap as usual, but to make it more varied. Suggested variations are Nasi Tumpeng, Nasi Yasa, and Nasi Kelangi, which are usually used for traditional activities in Bali.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the women career development based on Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs motivation theory. This research was conducted on female employees in the Denpasar area with a sample of 80 people using purposive sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that physiological needs, security needs, social needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs have a positive and significant effect either partially or simultaneously on women's career development.. Self-actualization needs most dominantly affect women's career development, then followed by social needs, esteem needs, physiological needs and the last is the need for security. Multiple determination analysis shows Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs motivation theory contributes 73.2% to women's career development.

Abstract

ABSTRACTOnline shopping sites are increasingly popping up lately. Many companies engaged in the sector of goods and services take advantage of this progress. A lot of interesting research can be done regarding online shopping sites. This study aims to analyze the impulse buying behavior by shopping life style and self-control toward online shop to the students in Denpasar Area. This research use 85 respondent through purposive sampling approach and regression techniques analysis. The conclusion is that shopping lifestyle has a positif efect on impulse buying behavior. Self-control has a positif efect on impulse buying behavior. Simultaneously shopping lifestyle and Self-control has positif efect on impulse buying behavior. Suggestions that can be conveyed to online shop owners are to further enhance the marketing and selling strategies of products through understanding lifestyle and self-control consumer to improve spontaneous buying online (impulse buying) that will increase sales of online products.Keywords: Shopping Lifestyle, Self-Control, Impulse BuyingABSTRAKSitus belanja online semakin banyak bermunculan akhir-akhir ini. Banyak perusahaan baik yang bergerak disektor barang maupun jasa memanfaatkan tantangan ini. Berbagai penelitian menarik dapat dilakukan terkait situs belanja online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku impulse buying akibat dari shopping lifestyle dan self-control mahasiswa di daerah Denpasar terhadap situs belanja online. Penelitian ini menggunakan 85 responden melalui pendekatan purposive sampling dan teknik analisis regresi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa shopping lifestyle berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku impulse buying. Self-control berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku impulse buying. Secara simultan shopping lifestyle dan self-control berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku impulse buying mahasiswa pada situs belanja online. Saran yang dapat diberikan kepada pemilik situs belanja online agar lebih meningkatkan strategi pemasaran dan penjualan produk melalui pemahaman perilaku konsumen yang ditinjau dari gaya berbelanja (shopping lifestyle) dan kontrol diri (self-control) untuk mendorong perilaku belanja online secara spontan (impulse buying) sehingga berdampak pada meningkatnya penjualan produk online.Kata kunci: Shopping Lifestyle, Self Control, Impulse Buying

Abstract

ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang disoroti dalam penelitian ini yaitu : rendahnya kinerja manajemen pembelajaran di kalangan para guru Mata Pelajaran di kalangan para guru mata pelajaran dan kelemahan pendekatan supervisi konvensional (satu arah(dalam kelemahan). Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan supervisi dialogis terhadap kinerja manajemen pembelajaran guru mata pelajaran di SMK Negeri 3 Tabanan. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen pendekatan penelitian yang di gunakan adalah penelitian kombinasi (mix methods), yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik quisioner, observasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear.Kata kunci: Supervisi dialogis, kinerja manajemen pembelajaran.ABSTRACTThe problems highlighted in this study are: the low performance of learning management among subject teachers among subject teachers and the weaknesses of the conventional supervision approach (one way (in weakness). The objectives to be achieved in this study are to determine the effect of applying Dialogical supervision of the learning management performance of subject teachers at Tabanan State Vocational School 3.
