Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of formative assessment and learning approach to the mathematics learning outcome after controlling the numerical aptitude. It was a quasi-experiment with a sample of 186 students obtained by using multistage random sampling technique with 2x2 factorial designs. The data were analyzed by ANCOVA. After controlling the numerical aptitude, the results are: the mathematics learning outcome of the students who followed a contextual approach was better than the ones who followed a conventional learning approach, the mathematics learning outcome of the students who were given a performance assessment was better than the ones who were given a conventional assessment, the interaction between the learning approach and formative assessment affected the students learning outcome for mathematics, the students who followed a contextual learning approach were more suitable to be given a performance assessment, whereas the ones who followed a conventional learning approach were more appropriate to be given a conventional assessment. Based on the research findings, junior high school teachers are suggested to improve their students learning outcome for mathematics. Then, teachers need to use a learning approach and formative assessment accurately and correctly.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference in the model of collaborative learning on mathematics learning outcomes by controlling the numerical talents of learners.  This type of research is quasi eksperiment with non equivalent control group design. The sample in this study consisted of two classes namely class X AP 1 as experiment class and class X AP 3 as control class with many students of each class were 39 and 38 students taken with sample random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using one-way t-test and ANAKOVA. Based on the results of hypothesis testing results obtained, there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of learners who follow the learning model of collaborative learning with the learning outcomes of learners who follow the conventional learning model with the value of t-test. after controlling to student's numerical talent there is difference of significant result of learning of mathematics among learners which follow model of collaborative learning with learners result of learning that follow conventional learning model. So there is an influence of collaborative learning model on mathematics learning outcomes by controlling the numerical talents of learners

Abstract

Factor analysis at item test conceptual understanding of numerical method aims to find out whether the conceptual understanding indicators used can confirm a construct and ensure that the test is complied with the indicator. Data analysis is done using confirmatory factor analysis.  Based on data analysis, one factor is formed with Eigen value 2.352 and variation is 58.8%. This result shows that the indicators of conceptual understanding ability are valid, and the test prepared in accordance with the indicators of conceptual understanding ability.

Abstract

The development of tourist villages, especially cultural tourism, is currently being intensified by the government through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf). Cultural tourism in Bali cannot be separated from the philosophy of Hinduism, one of which is Tri Hita Karana. Through the ornamental plant farmer group Guna Sari, the people of Petiga Village have developed plant agropolitan tourism based on tri hita karana, but it has not been managed optimally due to several obstacles. Among them are the unavailability of local tour guides and the weak ability of information technology in managing village webs for online promotion. Through training and mentoring, members of the Guna Sari ornamental plant farmer group were given English language training as a local tour guide, as well as computer training. The result is that members of the Guna Sari farmer group have mastered English for tourism and operate computers, which can be seen from the increase in evaluation results by 33.17% and 31.5%.

Abstract

Pinge Village is the first tourist village in Tabanan Regency which was officially inaugurated by Tabanan Regent Decree No. 337 of 2004 that concerning to Design Pinge Traditional Village as a Tourism Village. This village has several potentials as sources of attractions for tourists. These potentials include beautiful natural scenery, cool air, residential traditional housing, friendly people, and characteristics of rural tourism in the form of "trails" along village roads. The existing potential has not been managed optimally due to several obstacles, such as: 1) the English language skills of local tour guides are still low, especially the mastery of English vocabulary and 2) the management of homestays is not optimal, because most of the tourist activities are served by travel agents. This problem was overcome through 16-hour English short course activities, 8-hour guided mentoring, and comparative studies. As a result, the implementation of the English short course received positive responses from the participants, the village head, the manager of the Pinge Tourism Village, and the head of the Pokdarwis Pinge Asri. Statistically, there was an increase in participants' English proficiency by 22.14%. Mentoring and comparative studies on homestay management also received positive responses, even the homestay managers want this activity to be carried out continuously.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the students' science learning outcomes were not optimal during online learning using the WA group. Google classroom and virtual meetings using zoom are indispensable as a combination for implementing online learning using various platforms. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Gugus 6 Batubulan, Sukawati Gianyar, involving a sample of 92 class VI students using simple random sampling technique. Student learning outcomes data in science were collected by tests that had been tested for content validity, empirical validity, and reliability coefficient. The analysis technique used in this study is the one-way ANACOVA, that had been tested the normality of data distribution, linearity regression, and the homogeneity of variants. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in science learning outcomes between students who take online learning using a combination of google classroom and zoom, with students who take online learning using WA group after controlling the prior knowledge variable.
