Abstract

This research aimed to know the correlation of activity and response to the learning outcomes of linear program after applied learning genius learning on mathematics education program. The research method used is quantitative with the form of quasi-experimental research. The population of this study is all students of the sixth semester with a sample of one class obtained using cluster random sampling technique. The result of data analysis shows that there is a significant relationship between learning activities and responses to student learning outcomes after applied learning genius learning. Student learning activities make a significant contribution to student learning outcomes after the learning of genius learning is applied. Students responses make a significant contribution to student learning outcomes after the learning of genius learning is applied.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengembangan instrumen nontes untuk mengukur kemampuan afektif mahasiswa dalam kurikulum KKNI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan model pengembangan menggunakan P4TK yaitu spesifikasi instrumen, menulis instrumen, menentukan skala instrumen, sistem penskoran, telaah instrumen, merakit instrumen, uji coba instrumen, analisis hasil uji coba, perbaikan instrumen. Hasi penelitian diperoleh 1) Kisi-kisi penyusunan instrumen nontes untuk mengukur kemampuan afektif mahasiswa dalam kurikulum KKNI dalam penelitian ini telah cukup valid dan reliabel; 2) Hasil validitas instrumen nontes untuk mengukur kemampuan afektif mahasiswa dalam kurikulum KKNI telah memenuhi persyaratan; 3) Reliabilitas intrumen nontes untuk mengukur kemampuan afektif mahasiswa dalam kurikulum KKNI hasilnya tinggi dan instrumen layak untuk digunakan; 4) Hasil uji coba penggunaan instrumen nontes untuk mengukur kemampuan afektif mahasiswa dalam kurikulum KKNI diperoleh pada masing-masing soal yang berjumlah 15 semua hasilnya baik. Kata kunci: Instrumen Nontes, Kemampuan Afektif Mahasiswa, Kurikulum KKNI Abstract This research aimed to describe the development of nontest instrument to measure students' affective ability in KKNI curriculum. The research method used is descriptive method with development model using P4TK that is instrument specification, instrument writing, instrument scale, scoring system, instrument study, instrument assembling, instrument test, test result analysis, instrument improvement. The result of research is 1) Nontes instrument preparation grid to measure student affective ability in KKNI curriculum in this research has been quite valid and reliable; 2) The result of validity of nontest instrument to measure student affective ability in KKNI curriculum has fulfilled the requirement; 3) Nontest intruments reliability to measure students' affective ability in high quality KKNI curriculum and appropriate instruments for use; 4) The test result of the use of nontest instrument to measure affective ability of students in KKNI curriculum is obtained on each of the 15 questions all good results. Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi konsep-konsep matematika terutama geometri yang memerlukan media pembelajaran matematika inovatif untuk memudahkan siswa memahami materi serta meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang media pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif dan memiliki kemampuan untuk mengimplementasikannya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Sebubus Kecamatan Paloh, Kabupaten Sambas dengan sasaran program pelatihan adalah guru matematika dari beberapa sekolah setempat baik tingkat SD, SMP dan SMA yang berjumlah 14 sekolah di Kecamatan Paloh. Langkah yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru-guru khususnya guru SD karena guru telah mengidentifikasi konsep matematika sesuai materi yang dibahas, meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran yang akan berdampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa, motivasi belajar siswa, suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, dan karakter menghargai ilmu matematika

Abstract

This study explores the development of the game media of the geometric puzzle to support junior high school students' mathematical creative thinking skills. The research design used in this R&D research uses a 4-D development model. The researchers present the prototype of an exciting game for stimulating students’ creative thinking ability. Expert validation obtained an average value of 80.89%, the category is feasible (not revised). Students' limited trial score was 88.69% very interesting category and from the teacher 80% interesting category. The value of field trials to assess effectiveness through completeness obtained by students of 75.86% was categorized as complete classically. Therefore, the development of geometry puzzle game media with students' needs is feasible, interesting, and useful.Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengembangan media permainan puzzle geometris untuk mendukung kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMP. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian R&D ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D. Para peneliti mempresentasikan prototipe permainan yang menarik untuk merangsang kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Validasi ahli memperoleh nilai rata-rata 80,89% kategori layak (tidak direvisi). Nilai uji coba terbatas siswa 88,69% kategori sangat menarik dan dari guru 80% ka-tegori menarik. Nilai uji coba lapangan untuk menilai keefektifan melalui ketuntasan yang diperoleh siswa sebesar 75,86% dikategorikan tuntas secara klasikal. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan media permainan puzzle geometri yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa layak, menarik, dan bermanfaat.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menerjemahkan ekspresi aljabar siswa ditinjau dari kecerdasan majemuk. Pemahaman siswa dapat dilihat dari kemampuan menerjemahkan, dalam hal ini kecerdasan yang diteliti hanya empat ranah yaitu: kecerdasan linguistik, logika matematika, visual-spasial dan kecerdasan interpersonal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 15 Pontianak Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket dan tes. Prosedur analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu: (1) reduksi, (2) penyajian data, (3) pengambilan keputusan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa dengan kecerdasan linguistik sebesar 91,66 kategori amat baik, kecerdasan logika matematika sebesar 59,99 kategori kurang, visual-spasial sebesar 68,74, dan kecerdasan interpersonal sebesar 59,93 kategori kurang.Abstract:The purpose of this research was to describe the students’ ability in explaining algebraic expressions in terms of multiple intelligences. The students' understanding could be seen from the ability to explain, in this case the intelligence studied was only four domains, namely: linguistic intelligence, mathematical logic, visual-spatial and interpersonal intelligence. The research method used was qualitative with descriptive approach. The research instruments were questionnaire and test. The analysis procedures used three steps: (1) reduction, (2) presenting the data, (3) deciding or verification. The subject in this research was 22 students of class VII A in SMPN 15 Pontianak Academic Year of 2016/2017. The result obtained was the average values which included very good criteria (91.66) in linguistic intelligence, less (59.99) in mathematical logic intelligence, 68.74 in visual-spatial, and less criteria (59.93) in interpersonal intelligence.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to investigate: (1) in indicator 1, which provides better mathematical proofing capability, guided discovery model or direct learning; (2) in indicator 2, which provides better mathematical proofing capabilities, guided discovery models or direct learning; (3) which provides better mathematical proofing capabilities, guided discovery models or direct learning. This research is a quantitative with the population of all students of semester VI Mathematics Education Study Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques are measurement. Test the research hypothesis using t test. Based on these results it can be concluded as follows. (1) In indicator 1, mathematical proofing ability with guided discovery model is not better than direct learning. (2) In indicator 2, mathematical proof capability with guided discovery model is not better than direct learning. (3) The ability of mathematical proof with guided discovery model is not better than direct learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and assess the quality of mathematics teaching materials with the context of traditional Dayak Kanayatn tools on the ability of students' mathematical connections on valid, practical, and effective two dimentional figure. The type of research used is Research & Development (R&D) research with reference to the 4-D model, namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The test subjects in this study were grade V students of SD Negeri 06 Ngabang with a total of 22 students. Based on the results of limited trials conducted, it was found that 1) the results of the validation of teaching materials were 76.97% in the valid category, 2) the results of practicality based on observations of the implementation of teaching materials developed showed that teaching materials with very practical categories, 3) the results of the effectiveness of the materials teaching is 73.33% with the effective category. So it can be concluded that at the limited trial stage a mathematics teaching material is carried out in the context of the traditional Dayak Kanayatn tool that has met the criteria of validity, effectiveness, and effectiveness of the ability of mathematical connections

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan metode pembelajaran halaqah berbasis etnomatematika pada kelas program linier untuk membantu mahasiswa memahami penyelesaian masalah transportasi. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini terdiri dari tahap define, design, dan develop. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi untuk menilai kevalidan, angket untuk menilai kepraktisan, dan tes hasil belajar untuk menilai keefektifan metode pembelajaran halaqah berbasis etnomatematika. Penelitian menghasilkan metode pembelajaran yang terdiri dari empat tahapan. Tahap pertama yaitu pemilihan kompetensi dan materi berbasis etnomatematika, dan kompetensi terkait pemahaman penyelesaian masalah transportasi dengan konteks berupa pembiayaan transportasi pembuatan baju tradisional Kopa etnis Dayak Kualant. Tahap kedua, pembentukan halaqah yaitu dengan posisi melingkar, kemudian pemilihan mahasiswa yang berkemampuan tinggi sebagai pembimbing, dilanjutkan ta’aruf dengan penuh keakraban. Tahap ketiga, kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu pemahaman materi yang terdiri dari pembukaan, landasan ide pokok materi transportasi. Tahap keempat, kegiatan silaturahmi di luar pembelajaran sekaligus mengevaluasi dan mempererat persaudaraan mahasiswa sebagai teman diskusi. Berdasarkan penilaian kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran halaqah berbasis etnomatematika yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dan dapat dilanjutkan ke uji coba dalam skala besar. Development of ethnomathematics-based halaqah learning methods to understand the solving of transportation problem in linear program coursesAbstractThe purpose of this study was to produce an ethnomathematics-based halaqah learning method in a linear program course to help students understand solving transportation problems. This research and development consisted of the define, design, and development stages. The research instrument used was a validation sheet to assess the validity, a questionnaire to assess practi­cality, and a test to assess the effectiveness of the ethnomathematics-based halaqah learning method. The research resulted in a learning method consisting of four stages. The first stage was selecting ethnomathematics-based competencies and materials and competencies related to understanding transportation problem-solving in the context of financing the production of the traditional clothing of Kopa Dayak Kualant ethnic. The second stage, the formation of the hala­qah, namely in a circular position, then selects highly capable students as guides, followed by ta'aruf with full intimacy. The third stage was learning activities, namely understanding the material consisting of opening, the basic idea of transportation material. The fourth stage was activities outside of learning and evaluating and strengthening students’ brotherhood as dis­cussion partners. Based on the assessment of the validity, practicality, and effectiveness, it could be concluded that the ethnomathematics-based halaqah learning method developed was sui­table for use and could be continued in large-scale trials.
