Abstract

As a critical point in the supply chain, warehouse facility must be managed in good way, started from planning and design becomes important, this research using modeling tool to make and ensure the warehouse to be more effective and efficient. This paper to analyze the concepts of modeling for managing warehouse facility, from strategic level to operational level, for future re- search to provide a conceptual references also contribute to project management. The Problem in this analysis formulated as: 1). how modeling in designing and planning warehouse in action, and 2) how modeling in designing and planning warehouse as classified. The findings of this research with a modeling project: a model of classification for managing efficient warehouse, especially in strate- gic planning model.

Abstract

More than 2 million people/years died due to work accidents and occupational disease (ILO, 2010), while at Indonesia showed every 7 second work accident was occurs. BJTI Port is a port service provider company that carries out activities as a port terminal operator. Heavy equip- ment operator is one of the high-risk jobs, therefore this company must arrange work program that support the occupational health and safety management implementation at workplace through Safety Culture Implementation. Analyze Influence Occupational Health and Safety Program to Productiv- ity of Work to Heavy Equipment Worker at PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia Surabaya is the aim of this research. Total samples of 52 workers, taken by the total sampling method. Data related to respondent characteristics like productivity of worker and OHS Program obtained from direct observation to the field and interviews with all workers. The research results showed that as many as heavy equipment operators (55,7%) had high productivity. The statistical test using ordinal regression test indicate that there is an influence between the OHS Program with Productivity of Work to Heavy Equipment Operator at BJTI Port (0,000<0,05). Implementation of OHS Program at BJTI Port was good and need to be maintained, if possible, it can be improved by increasing the competency of OHS Supervisors and OHS management accordance with OHS regulations. In addi- tion its necessary to conduct surveillance of OHS devices, especially in areas that are rarely tra- versed by OHS supervisor.

Abstract

In the weeks at the start of the pandemic, some news in Indonesia was colored related to the panic buying phenomenon by Indonesians in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Of course, the Indonesian people were quite worried about the pandemic at that time. Starting from the scarcity of masks, hand soap and hand sanitizers at the beginning of the soaring positive cases of Covid-19 to the scarcity of staple goods consumed by everyday people such as sugar and rice, this phenomenon forced the government to impose restrictions on the purchase of staples. Currently, several regulations have been implemented regarding the purchase of basic commodities by the government to minimize hoarding activities of staple goods. This study aims to see the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the emergence of panic buying behavior among the academics of a university in Surabaya. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a total sample of 60 respondents consisting of lecturers, students, and educational staff. The research was conducted from June to July 2020. After conducting a survey, it was found that many academics at X University Surabaya were not affected by the panic buying phenomenon.

Abstract

MSME actors have limited knowledge in applying for halal certification so that it becomes an obstacle in implementing halal product guarantees in Indonesia. Whereas the halal logo on the packaging has an impact on purchasing decisions and consumer satisfaction. Community service aims to provide training on the importance of halal certification as an effort to increase customer satisfaction for MSME actors. The target of the activity is 26 MSMEs in Surabaya. The method used is lectures and questions and answers followed by distributing knowledge questionnaires about halal certification and consumer satisfaction as material for evaluating activities. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the Paired Sample Test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant increase in knowledge (p-value 0.000). This is indicated by the average knowledge score before training from 3.81 to 6.50 after being given training. Furthermore, MSME actors expect there are activities to assist in the registration of halal certification.

Abstract

Purpose: Therefore, in this study, SWOT analysis is used to formulate problems from internal and external factors, from developing alternative strategies, selecting and making strategic decisions that align with company goals. Design/methodology/approach: At the same time, the Analytical Network Process (ANP) is used to weigh each alternative strategy so that the strategy with the highest priority weight can be identified. By using Super Decision software, the best alternative strategy for Soya Agung is to promote promotion and education with a weight of 0.214760. Findings: An industry that can compete in the modern market has the right marketing strategy. As a Small and Medium Enterprise producing tempeh, whose raw material is non-genetic modified local soybeans, Soya Agung still has limitations in marketing its products. Research limitations/implications: The integration of SWOT and ANP is expected to produce strategic plans that can provide various alternative marketing strategies that can help solve company problems. Abstract

In the last decade, the movement of the business and social world, especially the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS), has experienced rapid environmental changes. Rapid environmental changes require an institution to try to run its work program to continue to grow and develop so that its income does not decrease and can still achieve the predetermined target. If the institution can deal with environmental developments and competition quickly, then the institution will be successful. This study analyzes the effect of brand image, service quality, and donor religious commitment on brand trust and donor loyalty. The research method uses quantitative methods with a purposive sampling technique. The questionnaires were distributed through email and WhatsApp using a google form, which was distributed to 182 respondents within two weeks. The analysis in this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study are that there is a positive influence between brand image, service quality, and donor religious commitment to brand trust. Furthermore, brand image, service quality, and donor religious commitment positively influence donor loyalty

Abstract

Lack of understanding regarding halal label certification in a start-up business within the Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya is an obstacle in implementing halal product guarantees for a product or service. If further researched, halal certification on a product, especially in a start-up, will affect customer satisfaction and increase the profits of a business. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide literacy and training about a halal certification to increase customer satisfaction in the Unusa Student Start-Up business. This community service activity targets 26 students of Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya who have a start-up business. The method used is lecture and question and answer. Meanwhile, the evaluation of activities is carried out by distributing questionnaires regarding knowledge related to halal certification and customer satisfaction, which is then analyzed using Paired Sample Test. The results obtained are a significant increase in knowledge (p-value 0.000). This is evidenced by the average knowledge score before training of 3.83 to 5.42 after training. After this training, students hope to get further assistance related to halal certification in start-up businesses

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan adanya kebijakan kegiatan pembelajaran dari rumah. Adanya kebijakan belajar dari rumah menyebabkan berbagai permasalahan seperti kegiatan pembelajaran kurang efektif, siswa merasa kesulitan berkonsentrasi. Untuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran daring guru harus bisa menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang interaktif agar siswa tidak merasa jenuh dalam kegiatan pembelajaran daring. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu guru SD Al-Islah Surabaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran daring, sehingga dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat memberikan solusi yang tepat bagi guru yaitu dengan memberikan wawasan mengenai aplikasi Kahoot sebagai penunjang kegiatan pembelajaran interaktif. Selain itu, diharapkan guru dapat membuat pembelajaran dan membuat soal evaluasi (Quiz) interaktif melalui aplikasi Kahoot. Sehingga kedepannya guru SD Al-Islah Surabaya dapat membuat pembelajaran daring lebih menarik dan interaktif. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu guru SD-Al Islah Surabaya sudah memahami dan mampu membuat quis online interaktif melalui Kahoot.

Abstract

Harga jual merupakan jumlah nilai yang ditukar dengan manfaat oleh konsumen dimana konsumen nantinya akan memiliki dan menggunakan produk atau jasa yang nilainya ditetapkan oleh pembeli dan penjual untuk satu harga yang sama terhadap semua pembeli. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberi penyuluhan dan pemahaman terkait strategi pemasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Fakultas Ekonomi Bisnis dan Teknologi Digital Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya ini akan dilakukan pada Guru-Guru di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam SD Al-Islah Surabaya. Untuk menambah penghasilan mereka ingin menjual beberapa camilan yaitu yoghurt yang baik untuk Kesehatan pencernaan anak-anak maupun dewasa. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan pengmas ini peserta menunjukkan hasil kemampuan menentukan hpp untuk penjualan yoghurt.
