Abstract

Human blood is liquid in human body, which functions to transport oxigen needed by cells to the whole body. Considering the important blood function, the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) has to maintain its blood stock stability to ensure the blood availibility. But the problem that PMI has to encounter with is its blood over-supply which leads to blood disposal. To minimize its unnessary blood disposal, estimation of blood need is required. Data of blood demand is normalized first, then estimation is made using Neural Network Backpropagation. In this study the estimation is made to the blood type of Packet Red Cells (PRC), the blood cells stocked at PMI Kota Surabaya. The best simulation result is at epoch 3000 with function Y = 4542,33 – 1,64595 x – 0,244018 x^2 and an error of 0,020314.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the demands of air tranportation for reaching destination increase rapidly. Based on the flight schedule in airports spreading in Indonesia, the airports have different flight demand rate so that it requires clustering. This research will use two methods for clustering : kohonen network and Fuzzy C Means (FCM).Kohonen network is the type neural network which uses unsupervised training.Kohonen network uses weight vectors for training while FCM uses degree of membership. Both kohonen network and FCM, inputs are represented by the number of departure and arrival of airline in one day. For kohonen network, we update weight matrices so that minimizing the sum of optimum euclidean distance. For FCM, we update degrees of membership so that minimizing the objective function value.From the simulations, we can cluster the airports based on the number of departure and arrival of airline.

Abstract

Kapal selam tanpa awak aatau yang biasa disebut Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV)  merupakan salah satu jenis robot bawah air yang relatif flexibel untuk eksplorasi bawah laut dan peralatan sistem pertahanan bawah laut. AUV dikendalikan oleh komputer di atas kapal permukaan untuk melaju dan bergerak dengan enam derajat kebebasan (6-DOF). Untuk mengendalikan AUV dibutuhkan sistem kendali gerak. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sistem kendali gerak menggunakan model nonlinier 3-DOF AUV yaitu gerak surge, sway dan yaw dengan metode Sliding Mode Control (SMC). Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa metode SMC dapat digunakan sebagai sistem kendali gerak 3-DOF dengan menghasilkan error 0.03% untuk gerak surge dan 0.04% untuk gerak sway serta 0.5% untuk gerak yaw.

Abstract

The development of underwater vehicle technology is commonly utilized in defences. NKRI needs this technology for applications and multifunctional technology becomes an important thing, since its modernization leads to developed AUV as Republics-of-Indonesia’s main weapon is sea defence. This paper proposes motion control system design applying equation of motion with 2 Degree of Freedom (DOF) to AUV system. The equation of AUV motion with 2-DOF covers surge motion and rolling motion is in the form of nonlinear equation. The control system design applied to the system of UNUSAITS AUV uses method of Sliding Proportional Integral Derivative (SPID). The result of SPID control system with the equation of motion with 2-DOF suggested that the stability of the system was reached when the resulted errors on surge motion and rolling motion were respectively 0.002% and 0.05%.

Abstract

Physiological changes in the elderly can cause a change in the neural system that is a disorder towards sleep quality while changes in the musculoskeletal system are the occurrence of muscle strength decline. Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy is a therapy which can improve sleep quality and muscle strength. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy towards muscle strength and sleep quality of the elderly at House Technical Implementation. The research type used is quasi-experiment design with pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research were all elderly as many as 40 elderly people. The sampling technique used was Total Sampling which was then divided into intervention group which consists of 20 respondents and control group which consists of 20 respondents. The measurement tool used was PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) questionnaire for sleep quality and the MMT (Manual Muscle Testing) observation sheet for muscle strength. Abstract

Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) adalah lembaga yang mendistriubusikan persedian darah. Pentingnya fungsi darah tersebut, maka PMI harus menjaga kestabilan stock darah. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk menjamin ketersediaan darah, akan tetapi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pihak PMI yaitu adanya kelebihan darah yang mengakibatkan terjadinya pembuangan darah. Untuk meminimalkan kejadian tersebut maka dibutuhkan sebuah peramalan kebutuhan darah. Data permintaan darah dinormalisasikam terlebih dahulu dan selanjutnya dilakukan proses peramalan menggunakan metode Neural Network Backpropagation. Pada setiap jenis darah peramalan terbaik didapatkan pada epoch yang berbeda-beda. Pada jenis darah WB peramalan terbaik terjadi pada epoch 3000 dengan function Y = 1176,93 – 18,3264x + 0,142822 . dan dengan error 0,044016.

Abstract

Background: The applications of constrained optimization have been developed in many problems. One of them is production planning. Production planning is the important part for controlling the cost spent by the company.Objective: This research identifies about production planning optimization and algorithm to solve it in approaching. Production planning model is linear programming model with constraints : production, worker, and inventory.Methods: In this paper, we use heurisitic Particle Swarm Optimization-Genetic Algorithm (PSOGA) for solving production planning optimization. PSOGA is the algorithm combining Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and mutation operator of Genetic Algorithm (GA) to improve optimal solution resulted by PSO. Three simulations using three different mutation probabilies : 0, 0.01 and 0.7 are applied to PSOGA. Futhermore, some mutation probabilities in PSOGA will be simulated and percent of improvement will be computed.Results: From the simulations, PSOGA can improve optimal solution of PSO and the position of improvement is also determined by mutation probability. The small mutation probability gives smaller chance to the particle to explore and form new solution so that the position of improvement of small mutation probability is in middle of iteration. The large mutation probability gives larger chance to the particle to explore and form new solution so that the position of improvement of large mutation probability is in early of iteration.Conclusion: Overall, the simulations show that PSOGA can improve optimal solution resulted by PSO and therefore it can give optimal cost spent by the company for the  planning.Keywords: Constrained Optimization, Genetic Algorithm, Linear Programming, Particle Swarm Optimization, Production Planning

Abstract

Pemanfaatan internet telah mengubah pola hidup dan budaya manusia dalam belajar, bekerja, berkomunikasi, berbelanja dan aspek lainnya. Saat ini masyarakat lebih banyak menggunakan uw internet dalam berkomunikasi seperti surat elektronik (e-mail), serta jejaring sosial (socialnetworking) yang dianggap lebih efektif dan efisien. Dengan jumlah pengguna internet yangmayoritas mengunakan jejaring sosial dan berbagai akses informasi maka sangat diperlukan edukasi yang tepat mengenai internet itu sendiri. Internet dapat digunakan untuk media promosi pondok pesantren. Hasil dari pelatihan E-Marketing dapat digunakan untuk menambah skill dari santri pondok pesantren mukmin mandiri. Sasaran pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah santri di pondok pesantren mukmin mandiri. Pelatihan e-marketing dilakukan dengan memaparkan materi e-marketing dan peserta dapat mengimplementasikan emarketing secara langsung dengan dipandu oleh mahasiswa. Peningkatan pengetahuan para santri terlihat dari antusiasme dan ketepatan dalam menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan.

Abstract

Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) merupakan salah satu jenis robot bawah air yang relatif flexibel untuk peralatan sistem pertahanan bawah laut dan eksplorasi sumber daya alam di bawah laut. AUV terdiri dari gerak translasi dan rotasi yan tergabung dalam 6 Degree of Freedom (DOF). Pengendalian AUV dibagi menjadi dua yaitu kendali kecepatan dan kendali agar mengikuti lintasan yang diinginkan. Kendali AUV agar mengikuti trajectory yang diinginkan ini biasa disebut dengan system navigasi atau Estimasi trajectory. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sistem navigasi untuk gerak menyelam dengan model 3-DOF yaitu gerak surge, heave dan pitch dengan metode Ensemble Kalman Filter Square Root (EnKF-SR). Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa metode EnKF-SR dapat digunakan sebagai sistem system navigasi 3-DOF dengan menghasilkan error estimasi gerak menyelam untuk surge, heave dan pitch memiliki error yang cukup kecil yaitu 0.02 m/s untuk gerak translasi dan 0.005 rad/s untuk gerak rotasi. Sedangkan error posisi menyelam hanya 0.03 meter atau 3 cm dari lintasan yang ditentukan

Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper is about designing motion control system with 2-DOF motion equation to be applied to an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) system. The 2-DOF motion equation which consists of surge and roll motion in the form of equations of nonlinear motion. The control system design applied to the ITSUNUSA AUV system uses the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) method. The simulation results of the PID control system with the motion equation with 2-DOF on the ITSUNUSA AUV system show that the system proves to be stable at a predetermined set-point with an error of 0.01% for surge motion and that with an error of 4.2% for roll motion.
