Abstract

Apart from being a place to leave children when both parents work, daycare is also seen as a place for child protection and fulfillment that is suitable for parents of industrial workers, especially the existence of daycare not far from the work location so as to minimize the time to pick up and drop children from work to and from work. The social interaction that occurs between the parents of industrial workers and the community in South Tambun regarding the daycare phenomenon lies in the daily life of industrial workers who have erratic working hours and have to leave their children in daycare which is seen as a daycare for city people who can afford it. This study uses a descriptive qualitative strategy or method with an in-depth interpretation of field findings based on existing facts. This research tradition is a phenomenological tradition that focuses attention on the conscious experience of an individual and uses an interpretive paradigm that seeks to find explanations about social or cultural events based on the perspectives and experiences of the person or organization under study. Using a symbolic interactionism analysis knife, the research describes three concepts, namely Mind, Self and Society from parents of industrial estate workers who leave their children in daycare.

Abstract

Recent films have attracted a lot of audiences, because many films have appeared with moral messages. This is evidenced by the number of films circulating by instilling the value of positive messages that are packaged in a concise, straightforward and interesting manner. So that many film makers have emerged to produce their works so that they can be watched by the public and can have a positive impact. Of the many films that are presented on the big screen, they have offered various colors in such a way, of course, adapted to the phenomena that are happening in society. Among them are the variety of films that are presented on the big screen, some are moral messages that are so constructive and in accordance with actual events in society, one of which is the short film “Tilik”. The research method used is qualitative in the form of semiotic analysis of Tilik Film Representations, this approach also allows researchers to use data as well as possible to be able to develop components of analytical, conceptual, categorical and flexible information. There are many signs in Tilik Film which have implied meanings. Director Tilik is very good at wrapping moral messages through the daily life of the village community through a film that only lasts 32 minutes, 34 seconds. These signs are displayed through several aspects such as the setting and setting of the film, shooting techniques, characters and dialogue between characters, scenes made by players, to the selection of the wardrobe of the characters in the film Tilik. Abstract

This article aims to unravel the issues of the threat of waves of refugees and asylum seekers in Indonesia. The concept of non-traditional security is adopted in this study as a framework for analyzing social problems of refugees and asylum seekers that have an impact on national security and interests. This research uses descriptive-qualitative analysis method to draw a common thread of threats that may arise along with the implementation of Presidential Decree no. 125 of 2016 concerning Handling of Refugees from Overseas. Referring to the results of data analysis, this study draws four reasons for the possible consequences of the wave of refugees in Indonesia, including: the regulations in Presidential Decree no. 125 of 2016 with other laws and regulations, the dilemma of unlimited stay permits, and the lack of budget allocations for sustainable handling of refugees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of the influence of brand image in the management of Public Relations events through digital media. This study uses a qualitative method, which involves several interviewees and experience working on case studies. In this case study, the author has the opportunity to gain work experience, through the Department Marketing Public Relations Division, by carrying out the project of organizing a Public Relations Event. The project that the author does in the Marketing Public Relations Division is making events with the aim of building a brand image, building a positive image and reputation and expanding the reach of the audience.

Abstract

Abstract -The disinformation of covid 19 in the media gives a different message for people. A different message affects the audiences of Mersi Radio Fans Club. It is done in order to give the accurate and trusted sources of information related to covid 19. The information can be given through community service announcements disinformation covid version. Based on the problems, the objectives of the research are to describe to the audiences about the true information about covid 19, the influences of different message, the reaction of Mersi Radio Fans Club interpret a message of covid 19 disinformation version, and the factors affect the Mersi Radio Fans Club.  The qualitative research method and the theory of encoding decoding people from Stuart Hall were used to conduct the research.  The theory of decoding was done by the audiences through three positions; they are the hegemony of the dominant position, negotiation position, and opposition position. The result of the research indicated that 5 informants are the most dominant hegemonic position.keyword : reception analysis. encoding decoding

Abstract

Abstract. Since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in March 2019, online lectures or online learning modes have been established by the government through the Directorate General of Higher Education Circular Number 1 of 2020 concerning Prevention of the Spread of Covid-19 as a learning system that must be used at all levels of education units, including universities. The implementation of online lectures at universities not only raises positive opinions, but also negative perceptions of students, as reflected in student opinions whose opinions are presented in the online media news portal room. This study aims to analyze the negative views of students whose sources are extracted from opinion texts on the sample online media news portal page. This qualitative study with descriptive-interpretative analysis method seeks to analyze student opinion texts at the level of their perception, attention, interpretation, and response to the online lectures they have been attending. Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang saya lakukan  pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis video menggunakan aplikasi VN editor ini memiliki dampak positif dalam proses pembelajaran di jenjang sekolah dasar. berdasarkan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi VN sangat bermanfaat dalam proses belajar peserta didik di jenjang sekolah dasar. Terkhusus dalam penelitian ini pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial. Dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial ini dapat dirasakan pemanfaatan ketika mnggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan serta menciptakan motivasi bagi peserta didik untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang berbasis video yang menampilkan beragam gambar yang didukung dengan suara penjelasan dan nada musik yang mengiringi video. Kelebihan yang dapat dimanfaatkan dari aplikasi VN ini pada proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial seperti, menambah motivasi peserta didik dalam memahami materi, karena didukung dengan gambar animasi yang menarik. Dalam proses penilaian secara langsung guru mengamati adanya perubahan positif. Dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitaif.

Abstract

The pandemic Covid-19 has an effect on the media so that the framing effect is one way of making decisions by producers and their teams to continue to look for interesting television program presentation and creativity concepts. The framing effect aims to test whether the influence of program packaging, celebrities/guest stars, presenters and artistic arrangements on viewing interest (Case Study of Broadcasting Department Students at Taruna Bhakti Vocational High School Depok). The method uses which is then processed using SPSS. Framing theory proposed by Entman is the rationale for all research with the influence of the framing effect and Education-Entertainment (E-E) is a media study other than psychology on the interests, thoughts, attitudes, and behavior of individuals or viewers. The results of this study indicate that program packaging, celebrities, presenters and the artistic arrangement of the Indonesian idol program greatly affect viewing interest in terms of viewing interest indicators. Before the Indonesian idol program was broadcast, the audience looked for information on what songs to bring, who were the performers. When the Indonesian idol program was broadcast, the audience really liked the gimmick and performances of the performers. The audience also always watches, participates in voting and sends whatsapp to support Indonesian idol program participants. The author finds novelty in the research that the author takes by taking the framing theory, which is usually used for research on news programs and politics with agenda setting theory. Meanwhile, this study uses Framing theory with supporting anchovies for Entertainmente-Education (E-E) by selecting several aspects of reality in the Grand Final of the Indonesian Idol Special Season A New Chapter Program.Keyword : framing effect, Entertainmente-Education (E-E), interest in watching, Indonesian idol

Abstract

An organization in its activities really needs communication with many employees, leaders and even consumers, then interpersonal communication is needed, because interpersonal communication is personal communication from one person to another and can build positive relationships and improve employee performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship and influence of interpersonal communication on the performance of the Raffles Service Agent at the Raffles Hotel Jakarta. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. SPSS version 25 is used to measure validity, reliability, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of interpersonal communication on the performance of Raffles Service Agent of 88.3% with a correlation of 0.940 which indicates there is a very strong relationship between the two variables. The conclusion obtained is that the performance of Raffles Service Agent will also increase if interpersonal communication is also improved.
