Abstract

Growth in the use of drugs actually not only in big cities but almost uniformly in a rural area of ​​the district to. Seeing these conditions, not only the government whose role is to make the handling but also the whole society should be concerned about the conditions in the vicinity. motivation for parents accompany their children to provide understanding and knowledge, motivation for teachers in schools to approach educates students so as not to lose the identity that ultimately are vulnerable, and the motivation of the residents in the neighborhood to come give attention among citizens so that the situation and environmental conditions remain conducive. Surakarta is consists of five districts based on reports BNN Surakarta as the first drug abuse-prone city in Central Java. This is supported by the demographic situation is increasingly. One of overpopulated area is district Kratonan. Aware of these threats Kratonan districts have a place for families and teens that BKR Group. Activities that are often carried out this group is counseling assistance in the form of free sex and drug abuse by peers. BKR is still active in activism, so it is important to providing media interactive between board members that blog. Through training blog creation targets were achieved outcomes Board has interactive media to target audiences about drugs and the impact of its misuse for the body. This training is divided into two stages: (1) Extension dangers of drugs by BNK Sukoharjo; (2) Explanation and simulation of blog creation.

Abstract

Every Indonesian citizen has the right to get a decent education and teaching, not least for those children with special needs (ABK). SD Lazuardi Kamila may use as an information referral inclusive school in Surakarta, existence is capable of being a facilitator for the inclusion of other schools to further develop and improve themselves for educational purposes such inclusion can be more optimal. This IbM activity aims to: (1) the teacher can determine the level of need crews primarily on the healthcare, (2) the teacher can understand how to be a teacher-friendly (welcoming teacher) in the school inclusion, (3) the teacher can make early detection of the growth protege (4) teachers can design learning, and (5) the management of the school is to prepare the required facilitation of inclusive education. Referring to objectives, the method is performed in service activities are conducting trainings and workshops directly to the participant/teacher. This activity was followed with the assistance of the participants that this activity can be sustained. From this activity provides benefits to the community, particularly the development of soft skills training and a teacher of children with special needs with the birth of inclusive schools friendly to children. Tools educational games are also given to crew members in order to support the therapy and also their education.

Abstract

A teacher must have an ability to create innovative learning media so can increase understanding and motivation of learners . The purpose of this activities is to provide knowledge for teachers in SD 5 Bae about utilization of plastic and paper for innovative learning media. The target of this activities is to provide information and assistance to teachers in SD 5 Bae on the use of plastic and paper for innovative learning media. The method used in this activities is the interactive training and mentoring. The results of this activities is the teachers are able to design, create and practice innovative learning media from plastic and paper waste.

Abstract

In geothermal production area in Darajat Garut as well, from 41,239 families’ researched data, it was found that 9,995 families have yet to get electricity. In addition, health problems, malnutrition, low participation in education, literacy, etc. In another research which had involved 5,793 respondents in that area, a simple assessment, respondents were only ordered to write their names, just only 56,60% who could write their names and the rest 43,4% had total illiteracy and partly. This condition made the people increasingly closed and collapsed above the fertile area and abundant crops. Starting from the assumption of fulfilling electricity for that village, then launched an integrated self-contained village, with the name “Desa Caang (the bright village): Caang Listrikna (the bright electricity), Caang Otakna (the bright brain), Caang Pesakna (the bright pocket). This program consisted of free of charge of the electricity installation distribution for under privileged people, economic empowerment and education.

Abstract

The main goal of this program is supplying elementary school teachers who have competence in writing paper on developing teacher profession. Operationally, the goals of program are: 1) supplying skilled teachers who are ready to do socialization many kinds of developing of teacher profession; 2) helping teacher to be able to develop their profession especially in writing scientific paper of result of classroom action research (PTK); 3) skilling teachers in conducting classroom action research in their classroom; 4) skilling teachers in arranging report of research and scientific journal article of PTK result, and 6) publishing special edition journal that contained the article of PTK result that written by teachers. For pursuit the goals, here it is using methods of training, workshop ad assistance. In the end of this program, the gained result are: 1) there are 27 elementary teachers class of IVa participating the training program wholly in 26 hours of lesson; 2) 4 times of assistance program have been conducted in several activities of planning, actuating, and writing report of PTK; 3) 27 report of PTK are supplied by every participants by guiding and directing of assistance team; 4) 27 articles of PTK result are supplied that is possibly published in local journal or national; 5) a publisher is built in local of “MANONJAYA” for promoting result of teacher PTK; and 6) the best two articles are ready to be published by publisher in UPI.

Abstract

Test question is a measuring tool that very important to determine the success of teaching and learning process. However, the main weaknesses of the teacher-made items are less structured construction. This weakness is usually because of the limited time teachers have in SMPN 17 Jambi for constructing the item test. If the analysis of these items is done manually, it will require a lot of time. Therefore, in the activities of community service will be used the program ANATES V4 for analyzing the test items. This program is used because it is easy and simple. The method used in this training are lectures, discussion-information/question and answer, demonstration and direct experiment. During the activity process, the participants are excited to practice the analysis of items directly and they are also already capable to carry out the analysis of the test form both multiple choice questions and essay. By analyzing the test, indirectly teachers can collect the test items or create “test item bank” that have validity and reliability.

Abstract

For an optimal development of the child's mother in every aspect of its development is very important. One aspect of skills that must be developed from an early age is a social skill. Most of the streets are young mothers of young children in Yogyakarta worried with the development of their social skills. The young mother does not know how to provide the appropriate stimulation to the child, especially to teach children social skills. Stimulate the child's development of social skills of children aspect then held a training play a role to the street children and of young mothers streets. Training was conducted for two days with story, discussions and role play. The purpose of this training is to improve the social skills of children so that they can adapt to their social environment. The results of the training is role playing a child's social skills to be increased after the training given by the method of playing the role. Social skills of children who increasingly include socializing in the neighborhood play when new friends, increase vocabulary, follow the rules of the game, and resolve conflicts with peers.

Abstract

Science teacher's role in improving the quality of learning is an urgent problem that must be realized. To encourage ongoing activities, the teacher needs to review / discuss activities, identify the obstacles programs that have been implemented, as well as practicing teachers' activities focused on developing lesson plans. Efforts that can be done is through mentoring and building-based learning Science Technology Literacy (STL) and the local potential. Some of the activities that have been carried out, namely socialization program, Counseling, Training, Mentoring, Teaching Dissemination of Results and Build Networking Skills. Based on the results of the activities as much as 60% of the 10 science teachers in SMP-SMA Negeri 1 Sesayap not understand the STL and the development of local potential. After the training and mentoring as many as 10 teachers have been able to make the device and implement STL learning and developing local potential in the classroom.

Abstract

Learning Javanese language has been starting on since a long time, but still there are some problems found in the field. Problems when learning Javanese language that occur in SD Patemon 01 and SD Sekaran 01, District Gunungpati, Semarang are (1) low capacity of the teachers in creating computer-based learning media, (2) lack of language skills of the teachers in using Javanese language variety of manners, and (3) frequent occurrence of errors in the assessment of learning Javanese language. In connection with these conditions, devotee team tried to be facilitators to the problems faced by teachers in SD Patemon 01 and SD Sekaran 01 by conducting science and technology activities for the Community (IbM). IbM program implementation used workshop model with a variety of methods, such as lecturing, demonstrations, direct practice, frequently asked questions and assignments. The results of this IbM program are capacity building of teachers in making computers-based learning media for Javanese language, improving the competence of teachers in terms of manners of Javanese language skills, and increaseing understanding of Javanese language learning assessment. The increase was indicated from abilities’ score of the teachers before and after the IbM program. The ability of teachers in terms of making computer-based instructional media increased significantly, ie 16.9%. Competence of teachers in terms of unggah-ungguh based on Javanese language, especially in speaking skills manners increased 6.3%. The ability of teachers in terms of understanding of the Java language learning assessment increased 9.7%.

Abstract

Becoming a teachers means always encourage yourself for longlife education. This is one of the benefit in Teacher career. We used to be learn anything and everything to update our professionalism. As a Teacher, we should be aware of teachers world, knowledge, technology, and student needs changing. Indonesian Government facilitate it through PKB (Continuity Profesionalism Development) program. PKB goals is to increasing teachers career competence continualy. Although Government publish this program since 2009, Education and Culture Departement of Sukabumi City started it in 2015 October. This lateness becoming our concern to organize a PKB Workshop specialy for elemetary school teachers. This workshop attendence by fifty teachers from seven distrik in Sukabumi city. The Workshop goals is to diseminate PKB and how to running it in teachers career. Beside that, the workshop also trained teacher how to entablish class action reasearch. This workshop held in three days from 2nd to 4th November 2016. From the workshop we know that PKB is very important to increase teachers competence and to maintain teachers career.
