Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of achievement motivation, academic culture, and self-development on the performance of lecturers at Tarbiyah College of Batu Bara Regency. The research sample was all lecturers at the Tarbiyah College of Batu Bara Regency, totaling 54 people. This study used a questionnaire for data collection. It was analyzed using multiple regression by conducting a simultaneous test, determination test, and partial test with a significant level of 5 percent (α = 0.05), which was processed with the help of the SPSS 22 tool. The study's results showed the influence of achievement motivation, academic culture, and self-development on lecturer performance. There is an influence of Achievement Motivation (X1), Academic Culture (X2), and Self-Development (X3) together on Lecturer Performance. The magnitude of the influence is indicated by the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) = 24.1, which means that Achievement Motivation (X1), Academic Culture (X2), and Self-Development (X3) jointly influence lecturer performance by 24.1% and other factors determine remaining 75.9%. Abstract

This research aims to determine school culture, professional competence, and organizational commitment to teacher performance at SMP N Air Putih, Batu Bara Regency. This type of research is quantitative, where this research was conducted in all Air Putih Middle School schools in Batu Bara district. The population in this study was 98 people, so the sample used was 98 people. This research uses quantitative techniques. The data in this study are primary. Data was collected by using a questionnaire. The analytical method uses multiple linear regression models to test the hypothesis simultaneously using the F-test and partially using the t-test. The test results show an influence of School Culture, Professional Competence, and Organizational Commitment on teacher performance. The magnitude of the influence is shown by the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) = 19.9, meaning that School Culture, Professional Competence, and Organizational Commitment influence teacher performance by 19.9% ​​, and other factors determine the remaining 43.5%. The results of simple regression analysis show the equation Ŷ = 51.106+ 0.825X1 + 0.365X2+0.472X3. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of human resource management in education. Management comes from the English word to manage, which means to organize, manage or manage. According to the term, management is the process of coordinating work activities so that they can be completed efficiently and effectively with and through other people. Based on the above, management is a way to organize or even manage something to get excellent and maximum results and get the job done optimally. Human Resources can be observed in two aspects, namely quality, and quantity. Quantity concerns the number of human resources (population) whose contribution is less critical in development than quality. Even the amount of human resources must be accompanied by good quality to avoid becoming a burden for the development of a nation. While quality concerns the quality of human resources, which involves physical and non-physical abilities (intelligence and mental). In conclusion, the goals in educational HR management include: the goals of society as a whole, the achievement of organizational goals, the achievement of functional purposes, the achievement of personal goals. Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of interpersonal communication and motivation on team member performance. The sample of this research is PT Soka Cipta Niaga Bandung. The research method used is descriptive and verification methods. Data was collected using a questionnaire in the form of Google Forms. The sample in this study was 62 respondents. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis, model fit test, and hypothesis testing with the T-test, and data processing assisted with SPSS software tools version 27.0. The findings of this study prove and provide results that Interpersonal Communication has a positive and significant effect on team member performance, and motivation has no positive or significant impact on team member performance. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and managerial competence of school principals on the performance of State Middle School teachers in Kayuagung District. The research was conducted at a state junior high school in Kayuagung District. The study used a descriptive quantitative research method, with a total population of 261 teaching staff at SMP Negeri Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The number of samples calculated using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 72 people—data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used the t-test for partial tests and the F-test for simultaneous tests. The results of this study show that the principal's leadership style and managerial competence partially influence the performance of teachers of the SMP Negeri Kayuagung District. In conclusion, the principal's leadership style and managerial competence of the principal have a significant effect on teacher performance at the Kayuagung District Public Middle School Keywords: Leadership Style, Managerial Competence, Principal Teacher Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of the principal's leadership in the context of implementing school-based management of Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This research was conducted at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Prabumulih school, which is located on Jalan Angkatan 45 Muaradua Village, East Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City. This research uses Qualitative Research with descriptive method. The objects or informants in this study are principals, teachers, administrative staff, students, parents, committees and the surrounding community. Data collection techniques in this study used in-depth interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use qualitative data analysis including data collection, data reduction, data display and data verification. The result of this research is that the principal has implemented his leadership in carrying out school-based management in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kota Prabumulih, by conducting curriculum programs, fulfilling infrastructure and effective supervision. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the influence of motivation and work ethic together on the performance of teachers of State Senior High Schools in the Mobilization Program throughout the Kayuagung District. This research is a quantitative research with a causal study form. The population in this study were all school principals and teachers who served in State Senior High Schools in the Kayuagung District, totaling 137 people. The number of samples was calculated using the Slovin formula with a result of 58 people. The method of collecting data in this study is a questionnaire/questionnaire method, documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis of data, independent variable descriptive analysis, dependent variable descriptive analysis and statistical analysis of research data. The results of this study are that there is an influence between motivation and work ethic together on the performance of teachers of Public High School Program Mobilization Schools throughout the Kayuagung District with an influence contribution of 29.6%. The fundamental difference from this research is that the research subjects specifically examined driving schools in the Kayuagung sub-district. Abstract

This study aims to determine directly or indirectly the influence of the Islamic work ethic and leadership style on the performance of MTs teachers through motivational variables, a case study of MTs teachers in NTT. This research uses descriptive and quantitative research methods. The study population was all MTs teachers in NTT, totaling 1,324 teachers. The sample used was 133 teachers using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using WarpPLS 7.0. The results of data analysis show that; Islamic work ethic has a significant effect on motivation; Islamic work ethic has a significant impact on performance; leadership style has a significant effect on motivation; leadership style has a significant effect on performance; motivation has a significant effect on motivation; Islamic work ethic has a significant effect on performance through motivation; leadership style influences performance through motivation. In conclusion, there is an influence of Islamic work ethic and leadership style on the performance of MTs teachers through motivational variables keyword : Islamic work ethic, leadership style, performance, motivation.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the managerial capabilities of madrasa heads, madrasah climate, and madrasah quality in Panyabungan District and to analyze how much influence it had both partially and simultaneously. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods; this type of survey research and regression analysis were conducted at 48 madrasahs with 285 teachers and 48 madrasa heads. The number of samples was ten madrasahs with ten madrasa heads and 78 teachers who were taken using Proportionate stratified random sampling. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, it was found that the managerial capabilities of madrasah heads, madrasah climate, and madrasah quality in madrasas in the Panyabungan District were in the very high category. The results showed that the managerial ability of the madrasah principal had a significant positive effect on the quality of the madrasah, the climate of the madrasah had a positive and significant impact on the quality of the madrasah, and together the managerial ability of the madrasah principal and the climate of the madrasah had a significant positive effect on the quality of the madrasah. In conclusion, the Managerial Capabilities of madrasah heads and madrasah climate are important factors that must be built to achieve madrasah quality, especially in the controlling aspect, the madrasah health climate aspect, and the output aspect. Abstract

The research aims to identify and analyze value-based leadership in developing the quality of education at the Amanah Tahfiz Sunggal Islamic boarding school, Deli Serdang. Using qualitative research methods, research techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research are values-based leadership at the third amanah Islamic boarding school, beginning with planning which divides its personnel into certain sections to improve the quality of education and dividing the main tasks and functions in the form of improving the quality of education and moving them to achieve the plan. The principal's efforts in carrying out his main role as a leader, manager, entrepreneurship development, and supervisor well, in addition to other roles. As someone who has values ​​trying to improve the quality of education, working hard and intelligent, creative, innovative, committed, and trying to set an example for his school members. Principal leadership to improve the quality of education has been carried out, including coaching and collaboration with all school members, increasing the participation of school members, the community, and stakeholders, establishing cooperation with related parties, conducting guidance and training, inviting resource persons, deepening material, raising funds, social services, promotions, and others. In conclusion, value-based leadership at the Amanah Tahfzd Islamic Boarding School is in accordance with the characteristics of value-based leadership in terms of accountability, professionalism, transparency, and communicativeness, which is a leadership concept that compares various aspects related to values ​​in relationships between members of the organization, cooperation with basic values-based organizations high commitment and serving the school community based on organizational values.
