Abstract

Kampar Regency is located in the Riau Province. This district consists of 21 sub-districts where there are 140 SMA/SMK/MA/equivalent schools. The problem faced in several public and private schools in this region is the lack of laboratory facilities in carrying out science experiments in the field of physics. In addition, the time to conduct experiments in the physics laboratory is also very less due to the dense activities of teachers and students in achieving other competencies. The low skill of teachers in using virtual laboratory technology is also a major factor in not carrying out experiments in the field of physics, so that it has an impact on the low level of understanding of students. The solution offered in overcoming the problem is the use of a virtual laboratory in the implementation of experiments in the field of physics. The first step in overcoming the above problems is to provide socialization of the benefits of the Phet Simulation application. Furthermore, training on the use of physics teachers for SMA/SMK/MA in Kampar Regency was carried out. The training on the use of phet simulation applications given to 32 teacher participants has succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of participants by 12.7%. To achieve an increase in knowledge and skills of at least 80%, continuous mentoring must be carried out again for participants.

Abstract

The problem that is faced by students is the difficulty of students to understand in learning mathematics. It affected the interest of students in learning mathematics. One of the factors is the one-way method in teaching. The direction of information is from the teacher to the students that makes students passive in class. Most students have a low imagination to understand abstract and invisible mathematical concepts. The use of concrete objects as intermediaries in the learning process is an alternative to delivering interesting and interactive learning in the classroom. One of them is by using a display tool. The aim of this activity is to provide learning alternatives that make it easier for students to understand the Trigonometry Special Angles and to develop critical thinking of students during the learning process. The implementation of this activity is to apply a display tool as a Learning Tool In Trigonometry Special Angles. This activity was carried out on class XI students of SMK Yabri Terpadu Pekanbaru. This activity is carried out in three stages that are preparation, implementation, and evaluation. From the results of this activity, an evaluation shown that the use of Trigonometry Special Angles Display Tool in the learning process, make students easier to understand the learning trigonometry special angle and make the learning process more interesting and interactive.

Abstract

Sansani Pekanbaru is a hospital located on Jl. Soekarno Hatta No. 501, Air Hitam Kec. Payung Sekaki, Pekanbaru City.. Along with the times, Sansani Hospital is required to be able to provide quality services. Quality nursing care is what patients want. One of the efforts to improve the quality of service is through the implementation of the Interdisciplinary Bedside Round which is part of the nursing round. In implementing this program, the proposing team has prepared a method plan that was carried out during the process. The training activities use counseling methods, role play, and mentoring. The results showed that the mean of knowledge before being given training was 6.33 (SD 0.500) and the mean of knowledge after being given training was 6.78 (SD 0.441). The results of the bivariate analysis showed a p value of 0.035 (0.05) which means that there was a significant effect before and after training.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has reduced public interest in the tourism sector, which has caused a lack of buyer interest in the creative industry sector. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Batik craftsmen "Batik Tugiran" are one of the MSMEs that are affected. This service aims to stimulate the economy of MSMEs engaged in the creative industry which have been significantly affected by the pandemic, especially for MSMEs, Tugiran batik craftsmen. The result of this service is handling for aspects of market share and branding. Branding development in the form of making product logos, making signboards, making road signs, and designing packaging improvements. Meanwhile, the development of the online sector market share is carried out by utilizing social media Instagram and the Shopee marketplace.

Abstract

Garbage is one of the complex problems faced by both developing and developed countries in the world. Waste processing continues to be developed in Indonesia to reduce the risk of environmental pollution, one of which is the existence of a waste bank to attract and increase public awareness. One of the waste banks in Pati Regency is the Bolo Larah Waste Bank. Based on the results of surveys and observations, there are several problems faced by the waste bank, including the limited administration of waste savings management from the community as customers, limited information and ways to process LDPE type plastic waste into products of economic value, and limited knowledge from partners about determining development costs. junk products. The method used in this service activity begins with preparation, development of the SIMASH waste bank application that provides information for management / manager decision making, waste bank management training and calculating the price of waste products that have been developed. The result of this service activity is that partners get information and training on the use of the SIMASH application which can provide accounting information for decision making, training on the development of LDPE type waste products into paving blocks and training has been carried out in calculating the cost of products developed by the bolo larahan waste bank.

Abstract

The incidence of COVID-19 in Indonesia is significantly increasing. In Indonesia, there were 965.283 confirmed cases and 27.453 people died of covid as of January 22, 2021. Meanwhile, the 7.505 confirmed cases and 352 death were from Surakarta. In this pandemic situation, the community must protect itself from being infected by the virus. Prevention is done by implementating the 5M health protocol, which are wearing mask, social distancing, and hand washing. Those health protocols are also part of clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS). Special needs children (ABK) are those who have different characteristics than any other common children. Special health consideration should be given for those special needs child, including PHBS because of the special needs they are having and probable difficulties into implementing PHBS. The consideration can be given by their teacher, caretaker, parents, or trained social health workers in the hope of special needs children become independent into implementing the PHBS. The aim of this program is implementating social service program and helping special needs children to become independent in implementating PHBS and health protocol. The program was held by lecturing, demonstration, simulation, and supervised practice. This program hopefully will prevent either health issues or prevent the spreading of infective disease, specifically in this pandemic situation.

Abstract

Success in a business, both small and large, is supported in terms of the selection of marketing media. Therefore, determining the selection of marketing media as a supporter of business success needs to be considered by looking at environmental conditions and the times. Seeing the times, the business world is currently competing in the digital industry, one of which is digital marketing. Digital marketing is an effort that aims to promote a product or service using media that depends on digital transmission. Such as media promotion in CV.Kurnia Barokah. The gift of Barokah is still conventional, that is, only by word of mouth so that the results of marketing have not yet received optimal results. Innovation in the use of effective promotional media can provide optimal results as expected, such as the use of Instagram-based digital marketing. To overcome this problem by holding digital marketing training at CV. Karunia Barokah. The output of this activity is an increase in partner knowledge about Instagram-based digital marketing.

Abstract

Hyperemesis Gravidarum is nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Although complaints of nausea and vomiting are considered normal for pregnant women and do not harm the fetus in the womb. However, if the frequency of nausea and vomiting is excessive, caution is still needed. Nausea followed by severe vomiting can be a sign of a problem with your pregnancy. For example in wine pregnancy, where the placenta develops into a group of abnormal cysts. Another possibility is hyperemesis gravidarum, which is a condition when pregnant women lose large amounts of body weight and body fluids. So that nausea and vomiting need to be avoided by being given drugs or other alternatives to reduce the complaint. So that education is needed about hyperemesis gravidarum to mothers who experience nausea and vomiting. The purpose of this activity is to provide education about hyperemesis gravidarum. The subjects of this community service activity are pregnant women in the Rejosari Health Center, Pekanbaru. Community service activities are supported by extension methods, question and answer, and discussion. The results showed that the participants were able to understand about emesis gravidarum, including understanding, causes, predisposing factors, and handling of emesis gravidarum.

Abstract

For support development oaf real sector economy, the efforts which needed to foster Micro, Small And Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in running their business units, we should to provide knowledge and skills to MSME actors for running and develope their business units. Based on that things, OK OCE team which collaboration with Informatics Engineering Major, Trisakti University carried out skills training in the form of using the okeoce.net website application through the Community Service Program, the aim that MSME actors can have the skills to create a portfolio of business units and collect data through a website application for mentoring and coaching efforts. The method used in this acivity are seminar and workshop for using of okeoce.net website with implementation method by online. From the results of the training assessment through online questionnaires, 90.26% considered that they are understand and very satisfied with the materials and methods provided during training. With the MSME data in the website, it can be used as basis data  for decision making for policy makers to analyze and mapping for MSME data based on their types and needs to determine strategic policies for development of curriculum and training materials for MSME development strategies.

Abstract

This training activity has the aim of providing an understanding of technological developments and their use, as well as providing training on the process of designing a website based on website content processing management, so that it leads to digital-based marketing. The method used in this activity uses the OPAKK method where the activity emphasizes material development, application, and confirmation and ends with a brief consolidation. This training activity has been able to provide scientific enrichment to MSME actors, this is evidenced by the presence of 86.2% of participants who are very satisfied with the activities carried out and have a good impact scientifically and develop insight for participants and businesses in general.
