Abstract

The role of the leader is a strategic factor that drives the performance of the organization's members. This study aims to examine the effect of transactional leadership and extrinsic motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervening. The study was conducted at PT Anindita Niaga Galantri - Honda Auto Serang by distributing questionnaires to 50 sales & marketing divisions. Data analysis using Structural Equation Model of Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The results showed that extrinsic motivation had significant effect on job satisfaction and transactional leadership had a significant effect on employee performance. While transactional leadership has no effect on job satisfaction; extrinsic motivation has no effect on job satisfaction and job satisfaction has no effect on employee performance. Low levels of salary and high job pressures make job satisfaction can not be an intervening effect on employee performance at PT Anindita Niaga Galantri - Honda Auto Serang.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Transformational Leadership Style and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable. This study uses quantitative and descriptive approaches, with a approach to causality. The object of this research is PT. Cemindo Gemilang Cilegon - Banten, using a sample of 100 respondents. Questionnaire answers are measured on an interval scale of 1-10. Data were analyzed using the help of SmartPLS Software version 3.0. The results of this study state that: 1) Transformational Leadership Style does not significantly influence employee performance. 2) Organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance. 3) Transformational leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction. 4) Organizational culture has a significant effect on job satisfaction. 5) Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction fully mediates between transformational leadership and employee performance, while job satisfaction can mediate partially between organizational culture and employee performance.

Abstract

This research have a purpose to know the intervals of guidance and observation can influence the effectiveness work the officer at On duty Oceanic and Fishery of Province Banten. While population in this research is entire/all officer in environment on duty Oceanic and Fishery of Province Banten amounting to 95 people, so that as a whole sum up the officer at On duty Oceanic and Fishery of Province Banten own full scale of population as a whole as much 95 people. Result of analysis by using SPSS version 11 for Windows to show that free variable influence (guidance and observation) to variable trussed (work effectiveness), either through partial and also simultan (together), having influence which are positive and mean the. Visible the mentioned from value significant from each every research variable, what menunjukan that smaller than 5% or (0,000<0,05). Coefficient Determination progressively goodness of ability of variable of guidance and observation explain or explain the variable work effectiveness. While result from value of coefficient Determinasi (R2) of to show of equal to 0,529 or 52,9%. Its meaning, that variable effectiveness work the officer of at On duty Oceanic and Fishery of Province Banten influenced by variable of guidance and observation of equal to 52,9%. While the rest that is equal to 47,1% influenced by other; dissimilar variable outside variable of guidance and observation, what is in research is not analysed furthermore.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of incentives and leadership in improving employee’s work discipline with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This study uses quantitative and descriptive methods with causality approach. The object of this study is DPMPTSP Banten Province, using a sample of 62 respondents. Questionnaire answers were measured on an interval scale of 1- 10. Analysis data is using SmartPLS software version 3.0. The results showed that incentives had an effect on employee’s work discipline while leadership had no effect on employee’s work discipline. Incentives affect job satisfaction, leadership influences job satisfaction and job satisfaction affects employee’s discipline. Mediation test results showed job satisfaction can mediate the indirect effect of incentives on employee’s work discipline and leadership on employee’s work discipline.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is affected by the quality of services and facilities. If the service variable can be improved and the facilities are in accordance with the expectations and demands of customers, a higher impact on customer satisfaction will be obtained. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the quality of service and facilities affect customer satisfaction at the Mini Market Afif Toserba in Kibin District, Serang. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. With a sample of 80 respondents who are customers of Mini Market Afif Toserba. Based on data analysis on the partial significance test of the service quality variable, it shows the value of Sig. 0.000 ttable 1.668 and the facility variable shows the value of Sig. 0.000 ttable 1.668. While the simultaneous significance test shows the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Fcount 37.162 > Ftable 2.37. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the service quality variable (X1) and the facility variable (X2) have a significant effect on the customer satisfaction variable (Y) partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

The lack of implementation of employee performance in carrying out tasks so that work is not immediately resolved in compiling reports based on their responsibilities, currently there are still employees who arrive late when they come to work. This study aims to determine: 1. The Effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance, 2. The Effect of Motivation on Employee Performance, 3. The Effect of Work Discipline and Motivation on Employee Performance at the Office of the Regional Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMD) Banten Province. The type method in this study uses an associative quantitative method which is causality, which is a study to determine the relationship / influence of independent variables on the dependent variable without making additional changes or manipulation of existing data. The population and sample used in this study were employees of the Banten Province Regional Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMD), totaling 82 employees. The sampling technique in this study uses a saturated sample where the population is less than <100 employees. The results of this study indicate that: 1. There is a positive and significant effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance. 2. There is a positive and significant influence of Motivation on Employee Performance. 3. There is a positive and significant influence of Work Discipline and Motivation together on Employee Performance at the Regional Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMD) Banten Province.

Abstract

The sustainability of an organization depends on the performance of its employees. On the other hand, women's participation in certain roles often becomes a conflict that makes it difficult to fulfill work and family needs. However, in many jobs, female employees still have to maintain the best working conditions. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the elements that influence the performance of female employees with the effectiveness of multiple roles and suitability of workloads through decreasing work stres. This research was conducted at the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Banten using a descriptive quantitative method using a sample of 130 respondents with an interval scale measurement of 1-10 and analyzed using the Smart PLS 3.29 application. The results of this study state that multiple roles (work family conflict) have a significant effect on the performance of female employees with a coefficient of 16.3%, workload significantly affects the performance of female employees with a coefficient of 23.1%, multiple roles (work family conflict) have a significant effect on stres. work with a coefficient of 21.8%, workload has a significant effect on the work stres of female employees with a coefficient of 47.6% and work stres has a significant effect on the performance of female employees. with a coefficient of 57.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of competence on teacher performance through job satisfaction and intrinsik motivation. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a causal approach. The object of this research is SMK Negeri in Serang City using a sample of 144 respondents. Questionnaire answers were measured using an interval scale of 1 – 10. Data were analyzed using the SmartPLS version 3.29 software. The results of this study stated that: 1). Competence affects teacher performance. 2). Competence affects job satisfaction. 3). Competence has an effect on intrinsik motivation. 4). Job satisfaction has an effect on teacher performance. 5). Intrinsik motivation has an effect on teacher performance. Job satisfaction and intrinsik motivation can mediate between competencies in partial mediation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of extrinsic motivation on employee performance through organizational commitment and work discipline. This research uses descriptive quantitative method with causality approach. The object of this research is the Regency and City KPU in Banten Province using a sample of 106 respondents. Questionnaire answers were measured using an interval scale of 1 – 10. Data were analyzed using the SmartPLS version 3.29 software. The results of this study stated that: 1). Extrinsic motivation has an effect on employee performance. 2). Extrinsic motivation has an effect on organizational commitment. 3). Extrinsic motivation affects work discipline. 4). Organizational commitment affects employee performance. 5). Work discipline affects employee performance. Organizational commitment and work discipline can mediate between extrinsic motivation in partial mediation.

Abstract

Productivity is an effort to improve the quality of work life, believing today is better than tomorrow. To be able to make it happen, the employee's safety and safety to avoid work accidents need to be prioritized through quiet talk of safety or known as safety talk to harmonize and maintain it. It is necessary to be accompanied by security supervision which can be called a safety patrol of PT. Krakatau Argo Logistics. This study aims to determine the effect of safety talk and safety patrol for employees on employee productivity. The method used in this study is a quantitative method and can be interpreted as a research method based on the positivism philosophy, used to examine populations and specific samples with data collection techniques, through questionnaire distribution, the number of samples as many as 68 employees in PT. Krakatau Argo Logistics, taken by simple random random technique. The results of this study indicate the results that the variable safety talk and safety patrol (X) on employee productivity (Y) F count is 190,277 and the F table value is 3.14. This shows that F count> F table (190,277> 3.14) with a significance level of (0,000 <0.05) Thus it can be concluded that safety talk and safety patrol have a significant effect on employee productivity.
