Abstract

The alcohol problem has a legal product at the top level on Presidential Regulation No. 74 of 2013, there are the control and supervision of alcohol. The regulatory authority or prohibition is given to the regional government. Therefore public policies in the form of regional regulations on liquor must be formulated in order to accommodate all interests.The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, more emphasis on the expression of meaning and process of various factors under study, also intended to understand the phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects holistically.The formulation of policies regarding the handling of liquor in the city of Surakarta by using political communication in building a network model of an advocacy coalition was formed by actors who formed a coalition based on a system of values and beliefs that did not conflict. The strength of the core beliefs of each actor raises the conflict supported by a set of triggers, strengthening the development and position of the advocacy coalition. The actors in the policy advocacy coalition each work to formulate their own policies for the same goal of handling liquor in the city of Surakarta.

Abstract

Election socialization is an important and strategic phase in the holding of elections. Socialization is needed as a means of organizing elections in facilitating the needs of voters in the election period. KPU as the organizer of the General Election has the responsibility of providing socialization to the public. KPU of Banyumas Regency has established a program of Volunteer of Democracy (Relasi) as a partner of KPU in carrying out socialization in order to increase voter participation and voter quality in using voting right. This research about how Communication Strategy of KPU’s Banyumas Regency in socialization Election 2018 and Election 2019 to Disability Groups in Garut Regency. This research method using qualitative approach by using observation technique and interview for data collection in order to get objective data. The theory used is the Communication Strategy initiated by Dan O'hair (2009) who uses three main areas, namely; situational knowledge, goal setting, and communication competence. The result of this research is that communication strategy conducted by Election Commission (KPU) of Banyumas Regency in the dissemination of elections in 2018 and elections in 2019 to Disability Groups is effective because it can utilize the potential in three main areas, namely: Situational Knowledge, Determination of Goals and Communication Competencies. However, there are some notes of the evaluation of socialitation program of disability group, such as; the pattern of the KPU’s Banyumas Regency approach in the future is expected to be more specific in accordance with the level of disability of each disability group, the need for involving the community of SLB’s teachers as the assistance of disability groups, the need for clear supporting instruments in the next election socialization program, and the need for adequate funding support for socialization election against disability group can run maximally.

Abstract

Komunikasi Kesehatan menjadi isu penting saat ini dalam meningkatkan pelayanan isntitusi kesehatan seperti Rumah Sakit. Peningkatan citra pelayanan kesehatan membutuhkan dukungan dari berbagai pihak. Bagi Rumah Sakit swasta peningkatan mutu pelayanan dibutuhkan untuk membangun citra institusi. Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) mengambil peran untuk menjaga pelayanan distribusi informasi dari internal dan eksternal berjalan dengan baik.Primaya Hospital Evasari merupakan salah satu Rumah Sakit yang ada di kawasan Jakarta Pusat. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin menlihat bagaimana peran Humas dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan, dimana Primaya Hospital Evasari dikenal sebagai Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak, yang melakukan re-branding menjadi Rumah Sakit Umum.Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan konsep-konsep Peran Humas Rosady Ruslan dan konsep mutu pelayanan mengacu pada Parasurama. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif bersifat deskriptif, dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi,yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dengan sedalam–dalamnya diamana penelitian ini menggali kebenaran informasi melalui metode dan sumber perolehan data.Temuan penelitian, Humas Primaya Hospital Evasari mempunyai peran penting dan mendorong  keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan yang dalam hal menjadi  communicator, membina relationship, dan membangun coorporate Image. Sedangkan mutu pelayanan di Primaya Hospital Evasari mengalami peningkatan  tangible, responsive, Assurance serta Empaty.

Abstract

Peningkatan kinerja pegawai menjadi penting untuk segera ditindaklanjuti oleh Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tuban karena kinerja menjadi indikator utama untuk menentukan apakah capaian kinerja Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tuban tercapai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui peran komunikasi pada kinerja pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tuban ditinjau dari ketersediaan lingkungan kerja serta pemberian motivasi yang diberikan oleh pimpinan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tuban berjumlah 852.Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan skala likert 1-5. Teknik Analisa data menggunakan partial least square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komunikasi dan motivasi, kemudian komunikasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi, kemudian komunikasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dan motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

The task of the administrative staff is to provide services to lecturers and students, but the ratio of administrative staff to lecturers and students is not ideal, and the CoViD-19 pandemic demands changes to the service system in order to keep performing well. This study examines the use of Google Drive in assisting online administrative services for lecturers and students. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques from interviews, observations and documentation. The validity of the data with triangulation techniques, and interactive models were used for data analysis. This research shows that Google Drive is quite successful in supporting the implementation of online administration services. This is evidenced by the perceptions of lecturers and students who feel that they get the convenience of service, although there are still inhibiting factors. Administration staff should carry out regular monitoring to improve Google Drive implementation.

Abstract

Technology and information is currently growing rapidly so that it can be used by anyone with creative work and to communicate without any limitations. Along with the development of the times, there is a new media with the type of social media Instagram. Instagram is in great demand by many people, so it is easier to convey any information in the form of writing, photos or videos. The purpose of this study is to find out how account managers can attract other Instagram users to participate in promoting tourism in Jember Regency and how to respond to tourist uploads on the @pesonajember Instagram account. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this study are Instagram can be used to convey information in the form of promoting tourism in Jember Regency. The communication process is appropriate in the mass communication process and there are several effects that are caused to other Instagram users who see travel posts. The existence of the @pesonajember account makes some tours more known by many people.

Abstract

Today, technology has developed very rapidly and is increasingly unpredictable, which makes companies develop strategies to stay alive in the midst of uncertainty. The study aims to analyze whether The Toyota Way will survive the era of disruption by adhering to fourteen management principles. The methodology used is a literature review with data collection on Toyota management elements, Public Relations management review, and previous research studies. The results show that the management elements Toyota has implemented will continue to be relevant by producing good inputs to stay afloat in the era of technological disruption.

Abstract

Good communication between the top management of a company and its employees is important, especially in times of crisis. This article attempts to study the communication strategy adopted by the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Citibank, N.A., Vikram Pandit, in managing the company's internal communications during the 2008-2011 global financial crisis. This study is important to be used as a lesson for academic theorists and corporate practitioners, because, in addition to adding insight and literature on related topics, it can also be used as a reference for managers in practicing strategic communication in companies. This research uses the narrative analysis method to learn strategy employed by the CEO of Citibank, N.A. in communicating with employees around the world. The result of this study is that integrity, transparency, and prioritizing employees are important for companies to get through times of crisis.

Abstract

The existence of Islamic boarding school (pesantren) can’t be separated from the figure of a clerics (kyai)and the communication between clerics and students (santri). Using qualitative research approach, thisstudy aims to to prepare, understand and analyze communication models between clerics and students inPesantren Modern Syamsuddin B. Communication Model between clerics and students in Islamicboarding school is influenced by the concept of Morals, status and charisma of clerics. Moral education is away to establish communication that facilitates management of transfer of knowledge to students. Status andcharisma of clerics are enhancer factor communicator legitimacy in the context of Islamic boarding school. Theresearch concludes that the construction of communications models of clerics and students was formed by high-intensity interactions between clerics and students.
