Abstract

. Tilapia is one of economically freshwater commodity developed in indonesia due to it´s good taste,fast growth and commonly cultured by farmers .This research was conducted to evaluate the application of bee´s nest to growth of tilapia.Bee´s nest was mixed with pellet and applied to tilapia´s frys.Mixed pellet was given ince a day and frys measured weekly.After six week of treatment,mixen pellet showed faster grosth both for body lenght and body weinght 0,1 cm range for body length and 0,4 gram range for body weight compared to non-mixed pellet.

Abstract

Lamun (seagrass) merupakan suatu tumbuhan yang hidup terendam di dalam laut. Umumnya membentuk padang lamun yang luas didasar laut yang masih dapat dijangkau oleh cahaya matahari yang memadai bagi pertumbuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis lamun yang dominan tumbuh diperairan Pulau Jefman. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode trasker dengan pembuatan garis transek. sepanjang 25 meter dari garis pantai kemudian dibuat kuadrat 1x1 meter, pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak (Random sampling). Lamun yang ditemukan dalam plot, diidentifikasi jenisnya dan dihitung jumlah tegakkannya dengan menggunakan kunci identifikasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu ditemukan sebanyak 3 spesies lamun pada kedua lokasi substrak yang berbeda. Ketiga spesies lamun terebut yaitu Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii dan Holophila minor. Species lamun tersebut terdiri dari dua family yaitu Hydrocharitaceae dan Cymodoceaceae.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the formation procces fishing ground in the fisheries light fishing. The method used in this research is survey method. The research object have been using the catch in purse seine and “bagan apung” units. Data analysis have been using descriptive quantitative analysis and trophic level analysis. The result showed that formulation of the formation fishing ground by light fishing are : (1) interaction physical between species by light fishing create the composition are Stolephorus sp, Euthynnus affinis, Sardinella gibbosa, Scomberoides commersonnianus, Caranx sexfasciatus, Carangoides praeustus, Sphyraena jello, Leptojulis cyanopleura, Parastromateus niger, Penaeus indicus, and Loligo sp; (2) the interaction biology between one species with other species create the composition are Katsuwonus pelamis, Sardinella lemuru, Selar crumenophthalmus, Selaroides leptolepis, Decapterus macrosoma, Rastrelliger kanagurta, Thunnus albacares and Coryphaena hippurus.

Abstract

Soft Shell Crab cultivation or the most popular with moulting crab is new commodity was never acquainted by society during have marked potency is very wide, with technology and very easy for future is very brilliant. With can rise economical in farmer and fisherman at common. Production process soft sell crab have some technical namelly cutting walk feet and twezers tan can stimulate mangroove crab for moulting yet influence from environment can quickly process onccurred themperature chance is very extreem. Experiment is doing decine exteem themperature on breed mangroove crab at 10 0C, 15 0C and 20 0C. Observation is during breed include crab amoud that moulting and survival rate. From data at by means of control ( 0% ), themperature 10 0C ( 20% ),themperature 15 0C ( 30% ) and at treatment 20 0C (70%) exactly SR value in control is 100% themperature treatmen 20 C (90%), themperature 15 0C(70%) dan themperature 10 0C(40%).

Abstract

This paper describes the state of lobster resource which landed in Sorong, including species, fishing season, and the analysis of weight-length relationship. The measurements were carried out by using randomized sampling in three (3) lobster shelter in Sorong from September - November 2015. Total of 1.316 lobster were observed during this research. The data observed were species, carapace length (mm), weight (g) and gender. The aspects of fishing technique, season, marketing and lobster types were analyzed by using descriptive analysis, whereas the measurement data was analyzed by using linear allometrik model to see the weight-length relationship with the equation of W = a Lb . The result showed that there are six types of lobster which landed in Sorong namely are; Panulirus ornatus, P. versicolor, P. longipes, P homarus, P penicillatus, and Thenus orientalis. Fishing season was carried the whole year which consists of the peak season (June, November, December), middle season (March-July, September-October) and bad season (August, January, February). The whole lobster observed in this research have negative allometric growth pattern which indicates that the lobster are in growth stage.

Abstract

The cultivation of sea cucumbers in Samate District, the Raja Ampat is highly potential due to sufficient conditions of waters which is protected from the influence of currents, waves and a storm. The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of sea cucumber cultivation in Samate districtRaja Ampat, referring to the prospect of future development. Data was collected in Samate district, Raja Ampat in November 2015 - February 2016. Samples were taken by purposive sampling method from representatives of farmers with consideration of the same level of diversity of sea cucumber cultivation area. Data analysis was performed by using financial feasibility analysis of sea cucumber cultivation with calculation of profit / loss, R-C ratio and BEP. The results showed that the earned profits in a year is amounted to Rp 25.388.000, while the value of B / C (Benefit Cost Ratio) is 3.25 or B / C > 1 which indicates that the business is feasible to be developed. BEP analysis is amounted of 4.6 kg, with the price of Rp 307.500 / kg, which means that the minimum production should be 4.6 kg at a price of Rp 307.500 /kg to achieve the capital return conditions.

Abstract

Application of the rules of the Decapterus spp fishing in east coastal Southeast Sulawesi has not been implemented in full. This is not available information about utilization extent Decapterus spp. When these condition do not get attention and management wisely, so can trigger exploitation arrest that exceeds maksimum suistanable yield Decapterus spp. The Research purposes is determines the utilization extent of resources Decapterus spp in east coastal Southeast Sulawesi. The method of this research is survey. Schaefer Model was used to estimate the utilization extent Decapterus spp based on the data time series from year 2007 to 2013. The research results show : the average of utilization extent of Decapterus spp in east coastal of Southeast Sulawesi is 89,04 % and the category of the utilization extent is high fishing level.

Abstract

Reheater tube is an installation for steam reheating output of turbine to work encouraging. Therefore need be heated again of steam to increase pressure and temperature so be used for drive turbine blades. Reheater tube last work for 54,000 hours. The method used of study to mechanical test and visual and microstructure observations. It is also used iterative method for temperature loads calculation occur in reheater tube. The result of iterative calculation obtained wall tube temperature T1 = 608.43 °C, T2 = 618.18 °C, T3 = 655.74 °C and convection coefficient = 3.604,37 W/m2.oC. Based on mechanical strength of materials tube is 481.85 MPa, this is still above the minimum standards of material SA-213 T22 so that decrease was not significant. Visual observation accour oxidation corrosion and visible cavity in micro structure. Some spheroidized and decarburizing phenomena are also seen in microstructure materials. The phenomenon is due to high temperature and pressure at the long term.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the concentration of DNA and proteins Coral predictions based on data from GenBank. DNA isolation technique Pocillopora sp. using tissue and blood DNeasy Kit (Qiagen). DNA concentrations were analyzed using a spectrophotometer and Corl protein prediction by comparing the primers used by the data GenBank (NCBI). DNA concentration of each sample varies between 5.0 ng/µl-20.8 ng/µl in the first purification and between 3.0 ng/µl - 8 ng/µl, where the highest concentration of DNA present in the sample HC2. Abstract

The principle development fishing in substance lead to the use of resources to optimal and rational for fishermen society welfare, without causing damage resources, environmental and sustaineble fisheries. The cath that fesiable to get on operation "sero" and analyzed levels of sustainable on a get "sero" in the Tapulaga Soropia Subdistrict Southeast Sulawesi. Research method is using the method survey. analysis data is descriptive kuantitatif to determine a measure of lenght fish and the level sustainable of "sero". the research result show that (1) tehe composition of the catch based on type consisting of 17 spesies. Domination species is Loligo spp in 24%. The composition of lenght fish in 52%, dominated by lenght fish of 10 - 19 cm; (2) the level of sustainable by "sero" is the value of 25. Basedon the values then "sero" be categorized as a sustainable fishing gear.
