Abstract

The aim of this study to know the effect of job stress, job pressure and job fatigue on employee performance at BNK BRI of Muara Bulian Are. Data collecting used survey method, that is to obtain information from respondents by using interview techniques and spreading the list of questions and to measureit by using Likert scale. Population of the research is employees at BANK BRI of Muara Bulian Area. Analyzer used is multiple linear regression, this method using computer assistance through program SPSS 20.0 for windows. From the calculation of SPSS 20.0, it found that is the job stress variable is 2,193, because tcount> from ttable, (2,193> 1.68195 hence Ho accepted and Ha rejected, it means that independent variable has influence to dependent variable, which means there is partial influence between job stress to employees performance at Bank BRI of MuaraBulian Area.Variable job pressure of 0.254, Because tcount<of ttable, (0.254 <1.68195) Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it means that independent variable has no influence on dependent variable, meaning there is no partial influence between job pressure on employee performance at Bank BRI of Muara Bulian Area.Job fatigue variable is 9.461 Because to tcount> from ttable, (9.461> 1.68195) then Ha accepted and Ho accepted, Ha rejected means that the independent variable has influence on the dependent variable, which means there is partial influence between job fatigue on employee performance on Bank BRI of Muara Bulian Area.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Gema Nusa Lestari which is located at Jalan Sarolangun -Jambi District Amplu Muda Batang Hari Regency Jambi Province whose business activity is to manage timber to produce wood plywood. The purpose of this study is To know the motivation of work, work discipline, work productivity and there is influence of motivation and work discipline on employee productivity at PT. Gema Nusa Lestari in Muara Tembesi. The research method used in this research is a field research method. Further data collection techniques used by means of distributing questionnaires with population and sample sampling. Data analysis tool used is multiple regression analysis. Based on the analysis of reponden answers, obtained the result that the level of motivation, discipline and employee productivity is considered good. The results of this study indicate that there is influence of motivation and work discipline on employee productivity at PT. Gema Nusa Lestari in Muara Tembesi individually or simultaneously.Keywords: motivation, discipline and productivity

Abstract

Effect of compensation and motivation to work performance at PT. ANEKA BUMI PRATAMA (ABP) In Simpang Kubu Kandang – Subdistrict Pemayung. The purposes of this paper are :1.   To determine the employee received compensation in PT. Aneka bumi pratama (ABP) at Simpang kubu kandang Subdistrict Pemayung.2.   To know the motivation of employees working at PT. Aneka bumi pratama (ABP) at Simpang kubukandang pemayung.3.   To determine the effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance at PT. Aneka bumi pratama (ABP) in the intersection kubukandang pemayung.Data collection methods used in the survey methods used to obtain information from respondents with interview techniques and disseminate how ticklish and using the measurement Likert Scale. populations in this study are all of employee at PT. Aneka bumi pratama (ABP) 865. Whereas for sample 120 employees. Data analysis tools in use linier regression multiple methods using SPSS program support computer.the results of the analysis that the compensation positive influence to motivation significant effect on employee at PT. Abstract

Acehnese people experience traumatic experiences due to conflict and prolonged war in Aceh. This research was conducted by using phenomenology as a qualitative method. The aims of research are to find the forgiveness basic concept of Aceh people. The total of research participants were 10 respondents which chosen from Aceh conflict victims by using purposive sampling technique, that is based on the following predetermined criteria: (1) is one of the following elements: Islamic leaders, scholars, casualty in remote areas and urban area, social activists, political organization activist, government official, housewife, as well as representatives of each profession in society, (2) Represents direct victims of Aceh conflict, (3) A native Acehnese and have lived in Aceh since the Aceh conflict (1976) until now. The data collection methods utilized in-depth interviews, observation, and analysis of documentation. This study applied the important principles in a phenomenology research: epoch, phenomenological reduction, imaginative variation, and synthesis of meanings and essences. The concept of forgiveness varies depending on the socio-cultural norms of each individual. The results reveal that for the Acehnese who are rooted in the conceptualized culture of Islam, the concept of forgiveness is closely related to the concept of spirituality, post traumatic growth (PTG), and coping strategic and positive self-concept.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out the information about pragmatics competence of second year student in the French Department, State University of Jakarta (UNJ) Jakarta. The writers believed that it is important to conduct this study, because pragmatics competence actually is not taught explicitly in the French Department. Meanwhile, pragmatics competence plays an important role both in oral and written communication. It is hope that this study can give the contribution to the French Department especially to French curriculum department. This study was conducted on July in 2007 in the French Department, UNJ Jakarta. It was conducted through descriptive analytical interpretative by analysing the result of students’ pragmatics competence test. The population of this study is 35 French students of UNJ Jakarta who have completely taken all language skills subject. The instrument of this study is the test of pragmatics competence, which consists of 40 questions in form of multiple choices. The process of pragmatics test designing was based on the themes that have been learnt during learning process. In the French Department, pragmatics is not taught explicitly but it is integrated in the language skills subject such as writing, reading, speaking and listening. The data showed that there are 10 questions which cannot be answered correctly by the students. It is because the number of errors done by the students ranges from 18 to 30. In contrast, there are 20 questions which can be answered correctly by the students. It is because the number of errors done by the students ranges from 1 to 8. The result of this study showed that the students already have a good understanding of pragmatics which is practically integrated in the language skills subject. In addition, student’s pragmatics competence relates thoroughly to his/her creativity. To summarize, if the student is creative, he/she will then be able to use the language relevant to the context occurred, or in other words, he/she understands well the pragmatics. It is therefore important for the teachers to develop students’ pragmatics competence by exposing them to practicing the language in various setting. Kata Kunci : kemampuan, prakmatik mahasiswa

Abstract

Teaching reading comprehension to the students is not easy. The teacher often finds a lot of students’ learning motivation problems from the students. The students’ problems are (1) students’ interest, (2) students’ effort, (3) self responsibility activity or persistence, (4) students’ optimal experiences; (5) reinforcement and teacher's method. One of the efforts to minimize the problems is by empowering the students in the learning process. One of the teaching techniques that can empower learners is Reciprocal Teaching Method. An action research was carried out and aimed at finding out whether Reciprocal teaching can improve the students’ learning motivation in reading comprehension in classroom when the teacher applies reciprocal teaching. Two cycles are applied. The data are taken by observing the learning process when an action is applied, by interviewing the learners involved, by giving questionnaires and by conducting interview. The finding of the research shows that Reciprocal Teaching Method can improve the students’ learning motivation in reading comprehension when it is applied.

Abstract

Pembahasan dalam artikel ini didasari oleh asumsi adanya hubungan pengaruh mempengaruhi antara bahasa dengan karakter budaya. Pertanyaan utama dalam artikel ini adalah pada titik manakah bahasa dapat mempengaruhi karakter kebudayaan masyarakat Ternate, dan pada titik manakah kedua masyarakat dapat memberikan intervensi terhadap budaya berbahasa. Penjelasan terhadap kedua pertanyaan tersebut terambil dari data tindak tutur yang dikumpulkan di empat PAUD di Pulau Ternate. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik sadap, rekam, catat, dan simak. Hubungan timbal balik antara bahasa dan karakter budaya masyarakat setidaknya dapat dilacak pada bentuk tuturan direktif yang mengandung berbagai fungsi, strategi dan modus tertentu terhadap mitra tutur. Hasil temuan mengungkapkan bahwa tindak tutur direktif anak didik PAUD di Pulau Ternate terealisasi dalam bentuk mengajak, menasehati, memerintah, melarang, meminta, menawarkan, dan mengijinkan. Tindak tutur direktif anak usia dini tersebut pada realitasnya kurang bersesuaian dengan norma kesantunan dalam masyarakat Ternate yang cenderung menggunakan strategi tuturan tidak langsung, dan penggunaan kosa kata tertentu. Fenomena ketidaksesuaian tindak tutur direktif anak usia dini dangan norma kesantunan di kalangan orang dewasa di Ternate akan mengakibatkan menghilangnya pengetahuan makna kosa kata literal dan kemampuan bertutur santun dalam generasi muda masyarakat Ternate. Tindakan antisipasi yang memungkinkan terhadap hal tersebut antara lain dengan memasukkan muatan lokal ke dalam kurikulum PAUD untuk mendekatkan kosa kata bahasa tempatan kepada generasi muda sejak dini.           Kata kunci: realisasi tindak tutur direktif, anak usia dini, norma kesantunan masyarakat Ternate

Abstract

Penelitian ini penulis lakukan pada Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Puskesmas DTP Jatiwangi Kabupaten Majalengka. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menggambarkan efektivitas pelayanan kesehatan masih rendah, hal ini terlihat dari beberapa indikator, yaitu: 1.    Lambat dan lamanya  pelayanan pemberian obat-obatan yang diberikan kepada pasien sehingga harus lama menunggu. Hal ini menunjukkan kurang cakapnya pegawai dalam melaksanakan  pekerjaannya, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakpuasan masayarakat atas pelayanan puskesmas.2.    Pegawai Belum menunjukkan Sikap profesional serta kurang ramahnya petugas dalam melayani pasen. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada saat pendaftaran pasen di loket pendaftaran. 3.    Pegawai dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan bersikap kaku dan terkesan      tidak bersahabat atau kurang ramah, belum mencerminkan sebagai pelayan     masyarakat. Gambaran masalah tersebut diduga disebabkan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh Kepala UPTD  belum berdasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip pengawasan, untuk itu penulis merasa tertarik untuk mengadakan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan mengambil judul : “Pelaksanaan Pengawasan Oleh Kepala UPTD Dalam  Upaya Mencapai Efektivitas Pelayanan Kesehatan pada Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) DTP Jatiwangi Kabupaten Majalengka”.Berdasarkan pembahasan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut :bahwa Kepala UPTD dalam pelaksanaan pengawasan belum sepenuhnya berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip pengawasan. Hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi secara keseluruhan baru mendapatkan nilai 67,15% dengan predikat “Cukup Baik”..Kondisi demikian jelas akan berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya Efektivitas Pelayanan Kesehatanpada lakukan Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) DTP Jatiwangi Kabupaten Majalengka,dimana secara keseluruhan berdasarkan rekapitulasi hasil tanggapan responden tentang pencapaian Efektivitas Pelayanan Kesehatan (UPTD) DTP Jatiwangi sebesar 67,51%dengan predikat “Cukup Baik”     Dari uraian tersebut maka pengawasan dengan Efektivitas Pelayanan Kesehatan terdapat hubungan sebab akibat, hal ini berarti hipotesis yang penulis ajukan, dapat diterima dan teruji kebenarannya.

Abstract

Belum optimalnya kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Bina Marga dan Cipta Karya, selain karena belum dilaksanakannya asas-asas motivasi secara optimal juga dihadapkan dengan beberapa hambatan, yaitu : Belum meratanya kemampuan serta pengetahuan pegawai dalam pengambilan keputusan. Masih kurangnya penguasaan permasalahan sehingga dalam penyampaian saran dan kritik masih kaku. Adanya perbedaan kemampuan serta tingkat pendidikan sehingga menghambat terwujudnya suatu team work Belum meratanya kemampuan serta pengetahuan pegawai sehingga menyulitkan dalam usaha meyakinkan pegawai. Belum meratanya keahlian serta kecakapan pegawai dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya sehingga menghambat pemberian wewenang kepada petugas yang tepat. Belum meratanya kemampuan serta pengetahuan pegawai sehingga masih ada pegawai yang sulit membuat laporan pertanggung jawaban hasil pekerjaannya. Adanya perbedaan individu sehingga menghambat terwujudnya kebersamaan sebagai indikator dari suasana kerja yang menyenangkan. Terbatasnya dana sehingga pemenuhan aktualisasi diri pegawai belum sepenuhnya dilakukan.Mengingat pelaksanaan motivasi merupakan salah satu cara yang tepat untuk meningkatkan semangat kerja, gairah kerja dan disiplin kerja pegawai dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan akhirnya akan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai, disarankan sebaiknya Kepala Dinas dapat meningkatkan lagi upayanya dalam menerapkan asas-asas motivasi.
