Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the application of information technology on the company's business processes, especially in the financial administration process. The analysis technique adapts the Miles and Huberman model using the Business Process Management (BPM) framework. The BPM framework was chosen because it can provide a more comprehensive measurement in assessing the implementation of the use of information technology in the financial administration process. There are three research stages: data reduction from documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. Then the data is presented using the matrix and the Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) model. Moreover, the last is the conclusion formulation stage with evaluation using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) framework. This study shows that applying financial information systems in companies has benefits in simplifying processes, saving cycle time, preventing errors, increasing standardization, and improving large-scale processes by automating company processes.

The results of the research of PT Sekar Laut, from the results of the calculation of the correlation analysis obtained the value of the coefficient = 0.33 which means that it has a very weak relationship or there is no relationship between dividend policy and stock price movements and the coefficient of determination is 10.89%, which means the effect of dividend policy on stock price fluctuation was only 10.89%, the remaining 89.11% was caused by other factors and for PT. Ultra Jaya, from the results of the calculation of the correlation analysis obtained the coefficient of determination 0.96, meaning that dividends per share have a strong relationship with stock price movements, and the coefficient of determination is 92.16%, which means that the effect of dividend policy on stock price fluctuations is 92.16%, the rest is 92.16%. 7.84% caused by other factors, as well as for PT. Ades Alfindo Putra Setia, from the results of the calculation of the correlation analysis obtained a coefficient of 0.86 (the value of r is close to a positive and strong number) with a determination coefficient of 73.96%, then the effect of dividend policy on stock price fluctuations is 73.96%, the remaining 26.04% caused by other factors. The value of 96 (the value of r is close to one) means that dividend per share has a strong relationship with stock price movements, and the coefficient of determination is 92.16%, which means that the effect of dividend policy on stock price fluctuations is 92.16% and the remaining 7.84% is caused by factors

Abstract

Nursery of oil palm is a period of preparing oil palm for approximately 3 months. However, in watering still using the manual method, this method still has a weakness, namely by pulling the water hose so that farmers of oil palm have to work hard and drain energy and also take a long time. From these problems, a solution was made by making an automatic palm seed watering system using the rtc module as the scheduling of the watering system and NodeMCU as the brain of the system's main process and using the blynk application as a notification output in the form of messages. As a result, the automatic watering system can work optimally if the time of the watering process has been determined and the system is able to send notifications to the blynk and display messages on the results of the watering process, with this automatic watering system it can help the work of oil palm nursery farmers.

Abstract

Home-scale business or doing business from home by family members is one choice to sustain people’s economy during the covid pandemic. With the advance of digital technologies, these home-scale businesses should be performed through digital platforms or social media. With proper utilisation, social media can increase the profits of these businesses. The purpose of this article is to analyse how social media can generate profit for small scale businesses. The data were obtained from the sales reports of three home-scale businesses in Jakarta, which specialized in selling traditional snacks. From the data, we analyzed the profit earned from each of the social media used (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Word of Mouth) to find out which media generated the most profit for their business. We found that the highest profit for home scale business came from Instagram because promotion through Instagram resulted in the highest number of items sold. The findings signify that using the right social media can generate maximum profit. However, the use of social media as digital marketing tool should depend on the habits and control of the business owner over the media.
